The panelists get off of their flight at Incheon International Airport, South Korea and board a train to Pohang. In this season premiere, they've taken a trip to the U.S. Marine Corps installation Camp Mujuk in Pohang, South Korea. After an eight hour train ride they arrive at the gates of Camp Mujuk. Walking up to the Marine posted at the gate they all present their IDs and they enter the installation and walk towards the Rodriguez Live Fire Complex and set up their area for the simulator. The two experts for the U.S.M.C. and ROKMC walk over with a cart full of all their weapons for this episode and are ready for testing.
Welcome to the United States Marine Corps installation Camp Mujuk in Pohang, South Korea. Today we will conduct tests to determine which premiere amphibious task force is deadliest. Barry, Geoff and Doctor Dorian have retired from the show and for our new panel we have master tactician, ancient weapons and combat specialist DeadAliveManiac, weapons geek MKDemigodZ-Warrior, Medical expert Zivon96, modern firearms and warfare specialist the fic's own writer PFC Rice Man, and finally computer wizz and metal music enthusiast Metal Harbinger. Welcome to the team gentlemen.
''Thanks very much narrator.'' They all said in unison before they gather around the simulator.
''Wow, it feels great to visit South Korea!'' DeadAliveManiac exclaimed as he stretches his body after the train ride. ''This will be an exciting season premiere to film and test and today it's between two very close allies. The United States Marine Corps, the world famous amphibious task force whose mission is the provide power projection from the sea against all threats to our country and on the other end we've got the Republic of Korea Marine Corps, South Korea's amphibious warriors who are trained extensively and are on high alert every day alongside our soldiers, Marines, airmen and sailors to counter any possible North Korean attack. Both sides are hardcore, well trained and won't quit until they've killed their enemy or the enemy kills them. We couldn't have asked for a greater season premiere and this episode is a testament of what we have in store for you, our loyal readers of what to expect from season three.''
''So who do you two goofballs side with in this phenomenal battle?'' PFC Rice Man asked.
''I'm tempted to side with the South Koreans in this fight. They seem to train a lot harder than the USMC due to the fact that they and the U.S. Military are on constant alert of any possible North Korean attack gives them my edge. They're ready to fight since the north can strike at any moment.'' Zivon96 said explaining his pick.
''I suppose so but the U.S. Marines have been around the world. They've been fighting in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and that gives them experience leaving them better prepared for combat which is something the ROKMC barely even has.'' MKDemigodZ-Warrior countered.
''We really couldn't have asked for a better season premiere. The USMC and ROKMC train together every day with the U.S. Army and ROK Army as well as their respective navies and air forces. Like what DAM said these two are hardcore, well-trained and will beat down anyone who dares threaten their countries. Let's get the weapons testing started and we'll see which amphibious task force will win the battle.'' PFC Rice Man concluded, the tone in his voice showing that he too was very excited.
The United States Marine Corps is a branch of the United States Armed Forces responsible for providing power projection from the sea, using the mobility of the United States Navy, by Congressional mandate, to deliver rapidly, combined-arms task forces on land, at sea, and in the air. The U.S. Marine Corps is one of the four armed service branches in the U.S. Department of Defense and one of the seven uniformed services of the United States.
''Like the Rangers, the USMC are some of the first troops we put on the ground except they come in from the sea which is why a lot of them say they're the first to fight. That's if the Rangers or Green Berets aren't there first of course.'' Rice Man explained.
By the mid-20th century, the U.S. Marine Corps had become a major theorist of and the world's dominant practitioner of amphibious warfare. Its ability to rapidly respond on short notice to expeditionary crises gives it a strong role in the implementation and execution of American foreign policy. As of 2016, the USMC has around 182,000 active duty members and some 38,500 reserve Marines. It is the smallest of the U.S. Armed Forces but bigger than most armies of other countries.
''The legacy of the United States Marine Corps will never, EVER die. It's built on two centuries of sacrifice and perseverance that is unmatched by any other amphibious force. The ROKMC will definitely be in for a fight with their greatest allies and my friends from high school who are Marines now would agree.'' Rice Man finished proudly.
The mighty devil dogs eliminate America's enemies with an arsenal made for victory.
Melee: OKC-3S Bayonet
Short Range: Colt M1911A1
Mid-Range: M1014
Assault Rifle: M16A4
Sniper Rifle: M39 Enhanced Marksman Rifle
Explosive: M18A1 Claymore
Martial Arts: Marine Corps Martial Arts Program
Today, the devil dogs will confront a new challenge, their closest allies of the Republic of Korea Marine Corps.
The Republic of Korea Marine Corps also known as the ROK Marine Corps, or the ROK Marines, is the marine corps of South Korea. Though theoretically it is under the direction of the South Korean Chief of Naval Operations, the ROK Marine Corps operates as a distinct arm of the South Korean Armed Forces, unlike the marine corps of most other countries, which generally operate as part of a navy. The ROK Marines was originally founded as a suppression operations force against communist partisans just prior to the start of the Korean War.
''With the other branches of their military as well as the U.S. Armed Forces, these men stand ready to combat against any North Korean threat to their country. Defending their people against their radical northern neighbors is their only goal and they will sacrifice everything to protect their families.''
The ROK Marine Corps has a total of 29,000 personnel which are organized into two divisions and one brigade under the Marine Corps Command. After the bombardment of Yeonpyeong, the ROK Marine commander also holds the commander position of the NWIDC (North Western Island Defence Command). The 1st Marine Division can operate in sea, air, land, with specializing its 3 infantry battalions under a single regiment to Airborne/Amphibious Assault/Ranger. Furthermore, the ROKMC's Recon units hold various special warfare training such as scuba and parachuting.
''If North Korea ever attacks them, these warriors alongside the ROK and U.S. Army and Marines will fight to their last breaths to defend the South from the communist north. They are extremely motivated and dangerous if you piss them off. The USMC has got quite a handful this time around.'' Rice Man concluded.
The ROK Marines stand ready to repel any North Korean threat with a locally produced arsenal of high-tech and accurate weapons.
Melee: Ka-bar
Short Range: Daewoo Precision Industries K5
Mid-Range: Daewoo Precision Industries USAS-12
Assault Rifle: Daewoo Precision Industries K2
Sniper Rifle: S&T Motiv K14
Explosive: M72 LAW
Martial Arts: Tae Kwon Do
When these Marines engaged enemies up close, they both use deadly blades to get the job done, up first will be the ROK Marines with their ka-bar. Despite having seen is before we will gauge the skills of the ROKMC with it.
ROK Marine Specialist Sung Kim-woo presents his blade. ''I bring the KA-BAR combat knife. It is similar to the Bowie knife with a 7-inch clip point blade made from 1095 carbon steel and has a handle with a grip made from leather washers. It has an overall length of 11 inches and weighs about 1.5 kilograms."
''Good, and what do you bring in Ryan?'' Rice Man asked.
''Today I bring the OKC-3S Bayonet, it's the ka-bar's replacement and it is nearly identical in every aspect compared to it's predecessor. It has an 8 inch long blade made of high carbon steel. It weighs 1.5 kilograms. USMC Lance Corporal Kenneth Ryan said.
To test out the lethality of the blades, our experts have set up 2 torso that will charge towards our experts.
''Okay men, here we will have you each test out your blades against these 3 North Korean soldiers. Kim-Woo you can go first.'' DAM said.
Kim-woo gets into position.
''On 3...2...1...Slice him up!'' Demigod calls out.
Kim-woo faces towards the first torso barreling towards him. He grabs it with one hand and thrusts the ka-bar into it's belly several times before slitting it's throat. Turning to face his second target, he brings the knife down onto it's skull before thrusting several times into the throat.
''Done!'' Kim-woo said.
''Your strikes clocked in at 44 miles per hour, nice work.'' Demigod commented as Zivon walks over.
''I'm seeing several thrusts into his gut which will basically turn everything into mush, he'll bleed out pretty darn quick and if he doesn't get his ass to a doctor, he's dead. Your second strike with the throat slitting is a no brainer, severed all major arteries in his throat makes this a kill.''
Now it's Ryan's turn with the OKC-3S Bayonet.
Ryan stands ready with his bayonet. DAM gives the signal and the targets come charging towards him. He lunges forward with a battle cry and begins violently stabbing the corpse in a bloody mess. Turning his attention towards the second target, he lunges towards it and violently stabs it in the skull turning the skull into mush before leaving the knife in the torso.
''OO-RAH!'' Ryan cries out with his hands raised high.
''Jesus Christ almighty.'' Zivon said as he walks over to the torso. ''You turned both these guys into mush, the first guy's guts are turned into some bowel smoothie and the second guy has no brain left, and you popped his skull open with those stabs, these are two kills.''
''You strikes clocked in at 67 miles, fast kills.'' Demigod added.
''Just showing you how U.S. Marines are when it comes to knives.'' Ryan said.
After a brutal display of both melee weapons, which one do our experts believe takes the edge?
''Like every other knife comparison we've seen, I don't see any real advantage either has to edge the other out. Therefore I call this even.'' DAM started off.
''Agreed, they both did equal amounts of damage and they both are pretty much the same blade design wise. I call even as well.'' Zivon added.
''I'm with you as well, they both can switch blades and do the same exact damage.'' Demigod inquired.
''Like you two I have to agree to the fullest. It will come down to the man behind the weapon in this.'' Rice Man finished.
For melee weapons, our warriors are even.
Coming up, both sides reveal their preferred sidearms and then later we compare two high powered shotguns.
XXXXXX
Now we test out the favored pistols of both Corps'. Since we've already seen the Colt M1911A1, we will now test out the pistol used by the ROKMC.
The team heads to a killhouse on the Rodriguez Live Fire Complex.
The K5 is a compact, lightweight pistol with an unconventional trigger mechanism called "fast action". The frame is made of forged 7075-T6 aluminum alloy with a matte anodized finish, while the slide is constructed out of forged 4140 steel with a matte finish. It fires the 9x19 Parabellum cartridge with a 15-round box magazine with an effective firing range of 50 meters.'' Kim-woo explained.
''Okay, to test out that pistol, we've set up a small killhouse where we have 4 tangos inside. The fourth target is a North Korean general. We'll see how fast you can take your targets out and how quick you can breeze through it.'' DAM explained.
Kim-woo gets into position at the front door of the killhouse.
''On 3...2...1...Breach the building!'' Demigod called out.
Kim-woo kicks the door down and is immediately greeted by the first target. He wastes no time in firing off 5 rounds into the chest before advancing into the next room. Opening the door he spots the second and third targets which turn to face him and he quickly puts the second one down with two rounds to the neck and the third with 3 rounds into the chest. He approaches the door where the final target awaits and he breaches it. The target sits behind a desk and Kim-woo empties the rest of his magazine into the target knocking it over.
''1 minute 21 seconds, not a bad time at all!'' DAM said.
''Hang on DAM, not done yet.'' Kim-woo took out another magazine that he stowed away and began to empty it into the 'General' to the point where the face is reduced to mush. ''There, all done.''
''Well goddamn, that was just scary.'' DAM commented.
Zivon walks over to assess the damage.
''I'm seeing 5 rounds in the chest here for your first target, all those combined will kill him as the bullets strike his lungs and his heart. Your second target has 2 rounds in his neck, obvious death here. Your third target has 3 and this is just like the first guy, combined all these rounds in his chest will kill him. Your North Korean general here has 5 rounds in him, two actually getting through his skull splattering his brains all over the place, another kill to add to the list. With that extra magazine you pulled out from nowhere you..well you turned the rest of this guy's skull into mush, literally.''
The team now review the Colt M1911A1 from it's various appearances in past episodes, after comparing both pistols physically and going over their specifications, the edge has been decided.
''We've seen similar comparisons before in past episodes and while the Colt has the superior stopping power with the good old .45 ACP, I have to give the edge to the more modern pistol with more rounds and less recoil so the edge goes to the Daewoo Precision K5.'' DAM said.
''I agree, more rounds and less recoil meaning you have better follow up shots gives the K5 my edge.'' Zivon seconded.
''The Colt has the stopping power for me and even though the K5 is the newer weapon with more bullets I give my edge to the Colt.'' Demigod countered.
''As much as I love the Colt, I can't overlook the K5's superior magazine capacity, 15 rounds vs. 7? I'd rather be 15 rounds of alive then 7 rounds of dead. Easy decision because I don't have to reload often.'' Rice Man concluded.
In short range weapons, the edge goes to the Republic of Korea Marine Corps for the Daewoo Precision Industries K5.
Coming up, two automatic shotguns go head-to-head and then later two lethally precise rifles duke it out.
XXXXXX
When both Corps' wanted to blow their enemies away, they turned to two powerful shotguns. Up first will be the U.S.M.C. with their M1014.
Lance Corporal Ryan walks over to the panelists with his shotgun in hand.
''Guys, I have here the M1014, It is an Italian-made 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun. It has an effective range of 55 yards and uses an internal tube magazine that can hold up to 8 shells plus one in the chamber. It's popular with both law enforcement and military agencies because it requires little maintenance and can operate in all climates and weather conditions.''
To test out the M1014, our panelists has set up an enemy intelligence room with 5 targets representing North Korean soldiers.
''Okay Ryan, you have 9 shells to obliterate these guys. Think you can do it?''DAM asked.
''I know I can, trained with this baby and I'm pretty confident in my skills with it.'' The U.S. Marine said as he gets into position in the room where his targets awaited to be decimated.
''On 3...2...1...Blast 'em!'' DAM called out.
Ryan fires off his first shot and the first target's head is blown into millions of pieces in a cloud of pink mist. Aiming at his second target he fires 2 shots into the chest completely turning it inside out. Gunning for the third target, he pumps a round into the chest knocking it back several feet with a pool of blood forming underneath it. Setting his sights on the last two targets, he relentlessly empties his weapon into the two targets tearing them to pieces before his gun clicks empty.
''Nice! 20 seconds to take those targets down, in a messy way too.'' DAM commented.
''Now that's what you call gore.'' Demigod added.
''Holy shit, this is just monstrous.'' Zivon said checking the torsos ''There isn't much to say about these guys, each individual target is just obliterated, I doubt you'd be able to recognize some of these guys without DNA and dental records, well no dental records for the first guy because his head is just completely destroyed I don't even see teeth remaining. All in all they're dead.''
''Hey Kim-woo, what do you think?'' Rice Man asked.
''I can match it, my shotgun functions the same way but magazine-fed.'' Kim-woo replied.
''This is the Daewoo Precision Industries USAS-12. It is an automatic shotgun designed as a combat shotgun manufactured in South Korea by Daewoo Precision Industries during the 1980s. It uses 10-round detachable box magazines and has an effective firing range of 50 meters.''
Just as Ryan before, Kim-woo will have 5 targets to destroy.
''Okay Kim-woo, 3...2...1...Fire!" DAM called out.
Kim-woo raises his weapon and opens fire on the first target, the buckshot flying towards it and tearing it's way through the target causing it to fly away sideways. Aiming for the second target he fires another shell at it and the target's stomach out knocking it away. Gunning for the third he fires a shell and the head explodes in a cloud of brain matter and pink mist. Aiming at the fourth and fifth target, he empties the rest of his magazine into both targets sending body parts all over the place and blood spraying everywhere.
''All done.'' Kim-woo said.
''Well I'll be, you did it in 10 seconds.'' DAM said looking at his stopwatch.
Zivon then walks over and checks the carnage.
''Well the assessment here is quite obvious, you blew all these guys apart! There are limbs everywhere and some of these guys I can't even tell who they are anymore unless I got dental records. The damage is just so insane and matched the M1014. All kills Kim-woo.''
After a display of two powerhouse weapons, which one do our experts believe takes the edge?
''Both weapons obliterated their targets completely. The targets were just brutalized horribly by the buckshot so I am going to call this even across the board.'' DAM started.
''I agree, same cartridge, range, and both can unleash a hellstorm of pain. Even.'' Zivon seconded.
''I will give the edge to the USAS-12 because it's a magazine-fed weapon which gives it a few more rounds than the M1014, plus it's easier to load than manually inserting each shell individually.'' Demigod said.
The final decision will now fall upon Rice Man's shoulders.
''In my opinion however, these two semi-auto and automatic monsters did such damage that it automatically makes it even for me. They could have easily switched weapons and inflict the same carnage on anyone unfortunate enough to be in their sights.''
In mid-range weapons, both warriors are even.
Up next, two highly accurate assault rifles come forth and then later, things are taken to the sniper range as the U.S. Marines and ROK Marines bring their favored sniper rifles into play.
XXXXXX
Now both Corps' signature assault rifles come forth. Since we've already seen the Daewoo K2 before and the M16A4 tested (AR-15 is basically a civilian M16.) We will review the testing of both weapons in previous episodes to take note of their performances before finally comparing the two weapons physically.
''Both rifles fire the same cartridge and pretty darn accurate rifles. However the M16A4 has a total range of 3,600 meters compared to the K2's 2,400. Besides that obvious range advantage I don't see any other quirks that would give one rifle the edge over the other.'' DAM said.
''I'm tempted to give this one to the M16A4 for it's 1,200 meters of range advantage over the K2. Edge M16A4.'' Zivon countered.
''Well you both present valid arguments. However, as with DAM I will go even on this one because both weapons are very accurate and do equal damage firing the same cartridge.'' Demigod said.
They then turn to Rice Man for his insight. He picks up the M16A4 in front of him and loads in the magazine before doing so with the K2.
''Having used the M16 before, I won't give it the edge because I'm prior-service and American, when you compare these two weapons they both have near identical stats and they are very accurate and both Marines are extensively trained to become expert riflemen with these. Like we've said before and I know it's getting repetitive but, they can switch weapons and do well as they would with their standard one.''
In long range assault rifles, our warriors are even.
Now we move on to the favored sniper rifles of our warriors. Up first will be the ROKMC with their standard issue sniper.
The team heads over to the Camp Mujuk Sniper range.
''Kim-woo, what do you bring for us?'' DAM asked.
''I bring the S&T Motiv K14. It's the standard issue sniper of the ROK Armed Forces. It's bolt-action, uses a 5-round box magazine and fires the 7.62x51mm NATO. It has an effective firing range of 800 meters and weighs 12 pounds.''
''Nice, and you Ryan?'' DAM asked turning to the American Marine.
''I bring the M39 enhanced marksman rifle, it is a semi-automatic, gas-operated designated marksman rifle chambered for the 7.62×51mm NATO cartridge. It is a modified and accurized version of the M14 rifle used by the United States military. It weighs 16 pounds, uses a 20-round detachable box magazine and has an effective firing range of 780 meters.''
To test out the snipers, our team has set up a small town containing 5 North Korean soldiers and 2 generals in different buildings. Kim-woo will have two magazines to accomplish the job while Ryan will have only one.
''Kim-woo, you're up first, get into position and begin on my signal.'' DAM said.
Kim-woo gets into a prone position atop the hill overlooking the town.
''On 3...2...1...Take them out!'' DAM called out.
Kim-woo takes aim at the first target which is nestled between two columns, acquiring it, he squeezes the trigger and the target goes down. Scanning the area for the second target, he spots it behind a barrel, he pulls the trigger and the target goes down with a round to the head. Spotting his next 2 targets, he notices that they are perfectly aligned, he takes a moment to get the perfect aim, when he does he takes a deep breath, then the trigger is pulled. The round tears through both targets in a mist of blood knocking them both down.
''Oh hoho, nice!'' Zivon exclaimed.
Kim-woo spots his fifth target in a window, wasting no time he squeezes of his fourth shot and hits the target dead center in the chest. He scans the windows of the main building, he spots one of the generals in a window and squeezes off a round. The general goes down. Kim-woo the goes to reload his weapon.
''Costed him a few seconds.'' Demigod commented.
Kim-woo completes his reloads and quickly peeps into his scope. Having the general in his reticule, he fires his sniper and the general's head is blown clean off.
''Time! You got 2 minutes and 2 seconds for your time Kim-woo!'' DAM called out.
The team heads downrange to examine the carnage.
''Each of your targets took one round to their bodies. Because the size of the 7.62 NATO, it would only take one round to destroy these guys and take them out. Your double whammie with your third and fourth target was perfect. Tore right through both of them and they'd never know what happened. Your general up there, well his head exploded. He's just gone. All 7 targets have been taken down with one round each and they are all dead. Excellent work.'' Zivon explained.
''You lost a few seconds reloading, but when you got that second magazine in you took down the rest of the targets with ease and precision.'' Rice Man commented.
''I agree with the 5-round magazine Kim-woo, our sniper holds 20 so I could do the same damage you've done but a bit faster.'' Ryan said.
It's now Ryan's turn with the M39 Enhanced Marksman Rifle.
Ryan gets into position atop the hill.
''Okay Ryan, on 3...2...1...Go!'' DAM called out.
Ryan takes aim at the first target, wasting no time, he pops one shot off and the torso's head explodes in a magnificent fashion. Setting his sights on the second target nestled behind a slightly opened door, he fires his sniper and the round punches through the door and takes the target down in a gory fashion. Spotting his third and fourth target, he notices like before, they are arranged parallel to each other. Taking a moment to aim, he squeezes the trigger and both target's heads explode.
''Damn! Ace sharpshooting right there!'' Rice Man exclaimed.
'Dude, did he train to be a sniper?'' DAM asked.
''With that kind of shooting he most definitely went to Scout Sniper School.'' Said the prior serviceman.
Taking aim at the fifth target which stands in front of a doorway, he fires and the round tears through it's stomach knocking it back. Aiming for the main building, he spots the two generals and finishes them off with one round each, the target's heads exploding.
''Time! 1 minutes and 30 seconds for your overall time, excellent.'' Demigod said.
The team and Kim-woo walk over to the town to assess the damage.
''Jesus, I see brain and blood all over the place. You took one round to take all these guys down and like what we've seen with the K14, one round is all you'll need and I see top class accuracy here. All these guys are just mangled by the 7.62 NATO and they are going to be buried in pieces, literally.'' Zivon explained.
''You got 1 minutes and 30 seconds for your overall time. You both did an excellent job and you two would definitely annihilate North Korean troops if you were in the same sniper team.'' DAM said.
''USMC and ROKMC together, unstoppable.'' Kim-woo said.
Ryan pats Kim on the back and nods his head in agreement. ''No North Korean can stop us when we're together.''
After the skillful sharpshooting of our Marines and their snipers, which one do our experts believe takes the edge?
''I like how both snipers performed against the targets. They both are extremely accurate and powerful weapons I think I'll call this even.'' DAM started off.
''I disagree with you there buddy boy.'' Zivon countered with his hands held up, ''Yes, both are powerful, accurate weapons but the main thing I see here is the magazine capacity. Kim-woo had to reload in the middle of shooting one of the generals and that costed him some time. I will give my edge to the M39 Enhanced Marksman Rifle for it's much larger magazine capacity.''
''I call this even, both did so much damage and were very impressive in the test. One allows you to take your time while the other can be used to spray bullets downrange.'' Demigod said.
The final decision once again falls upon Rice Man.
''Zivon, you present a very good argument to make my mind up. I would need more than just perfect sharpshooting to get the job done, magazine size really helps out a lot in the sniper game. With the measly 5-round magazine for the K14, reloading when in the middle of shooting might cost you not just time, your life as well. Being bolt-action if you miss a target he has a chance to run for cover. With the EMR you miss you can just shoot again. For larger magazine size, it's faster rate of fire and target acquisition speed I'm giving this one all to the M39 EMR.'' Rice Man concluded.
For long range sniper rifles, the edge goes to the United States Marine Corps for the M39 Enhanced Marksman Rifle.
Coming up, we bring out the favored weapons our warriors used to cause big booms and then later we compare two lethal hand-to-hand fighting styles.
XXXXXX
Finally, we now test out the weapons our warriors used to blow their enemies away. Up first will be the ROK Marines with an old, but tried and trusted launcher.
''Here gentleman I have the M72 LAW. It is a portable one-shot 66-mm unguided anti-tank weapon. During the Vietnam war, the U.S. and South Korean infantry used it extensively and of course as you can see, the ROK Army and Marines still use it. It weighs 5 pounds, has a muzzle velocity of 145 meters per second and an effective range of 200 meters.'' Kim-woo explained.
To test out the M72 LAW, the team heads out to the Siwon Rocket Range where they've set up a 10 man formation of North Korean soldiers surrounding a fake Humvee with an officer inside.
''Okay, one shot, make that bad boy count.'' DAM said.
Nodding, Kim-woo gets into position. He extends the launcher and takes aim at the humvee. After a few minutes, he takes a deep breath and presses the button. The launcher roars to life and the 66mm warhead flies out at an amazing speed. The warhead impacts the humvee and vaporizes the vehicle, the explosion catching the entire 10 man formation in a gulf of flames.
''Nice!'' DAM shouted.
The team walks over after the Camp Mujuk fire control team puts out the flames.
''There isn't really much to say for all these suckers, one warhead did it's job, the humvee was destroyed, the officer doesn't exist, and everyone else is either killed by the shock itself, the fragmentation, or the flames from the explosion,. Horrible and grisly deaths.'' Zivon explained with a sick look plastering his face.
We've already tested the M18A1 Claymore in 'S.A.S. vs. Navy S.E.A.L.', the team reviews the footage of the testing from that episode. After a brief discussion our team finally comes to a decision.
''This is a tough one, one is a portable anti-tank weapon but it has only one shot, then again it's mobile. The claymore needs to be set up in advance but when not in use it doesn't put strain on you because it weighs less. I think in the end I will give the edge to the M72 LAW for range and the sheer devastating explosion it can cause.'' DAM starts off.
''I agree, also factoring explosive strength, of course the LAW rocket has the power. This is a strange comparison but we're going off with what our experts used as standard issue. M72 LAW takes the edge for sheer explosive power and for it being able to shoot while on the move.'' Zivon added.
''The M72 easily took it from the start for it's range and powerful explosion. It gets my edge.'' Demigod said.
''I was going to give it to the claymore, but the M72 LAW has the range and the power helping it. Edge M72 LAW.'' Rice Man finished.
In explosive weapons, the edge goes to the Republic of Korea Marine Corps for the M72 LAW.
Coming up, we conclude the testing by analyzing the martial arts of our warriors to determine who reigns in close quarters.
Then later, U.S.M.C.? Or ROK Marines? Which task force will emerge victorious?

Now, we will finish off the testing by reviewing and analyzing the martial arts of both warriors.
The team heads over to the Camp Mujuk Choi Sung-Ho Dojo.
''Alright men, care to briefly explain your martial arts?'' DAM asked.
''Yes, You want to go first pal?'' Kim-woo asked Ryan.
''Sure, the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program is a combat system developed by the United States Marine Corps to combine existing and new hand-to-hand and close quarters combat techniques with morale and team-building functions and instruction in the Warrior Ethos. It draws inspiration from several disciplines including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Boxing, Savate, Jujutsu, Judo, Sambo, Krav Maga, Isshin-Ryu Karate, Aikido, Muay Thai, Eskrima, Hapkido, Taekwondo, Kung Fu, and Kickboxing.'' Ryan explained.
''What belt?'' Zivon asked.
''I've recently made black belt.'' Ryan answered.
''Alrighty, demonstrate a bit for us?'' DAM asked.
''Sure thing.'' Ryan then gets into position where the person who has the honor of taking the beating stood ready.
Carlos, one of the cameramen has volunteered to receive a beating.
''Carlos, please go ahead and charge at me.'' Ryan instructed.
Carlos does just that and Ryan quickly maneuvers an arm around Carols's neck and applies pressure choking Carlos, after getting him in the choke, Ryan applies a tight arm lock and forces Carlos the ground. With that he proceeds to brutally beat Carlos in the face with a flurry of fluid punches. Forcing Carlos back to his feet, Justin attempts a forward jab only for Ryan to grab his arm and twirl him around into a neck choke.
''That's really fluid and brutal. He would suffer a concussion if you continuously beat him down. Your final choke would kill if you didn't stop. This Martial arts program, it's a killing tool.'' Zivon commented.
''Okay Kim-woo, we've already seen Tae Kwon Do before, but could you please demonstrate some techniques for us?'' DAM asked.
Kim-woo nods and gets into position. Justin charges forth and throws a punch and Kim-woo fakes a strike but quickly twirls into a high speed roundhouse kick and connects with Carlo's head knocking him back in a way that he spins as he falls. Picking Carlos up, he then walks away about ten feet and runs at a dazed and bleeding cameraman he quickly hops into the air and launches a powerful rocket kick knocking the wind out of the cameraman enough for him to hit the wall and get knocked unconscious.
''Goddamn, that looked like it would hurt.'' Rice Man commented.
''As we've seen with the Kkangpae, fast and fluid movement allowing you to get blows in and out, combined with the force when your spinning means the kicks would definitely be lethal, either knocking you out or hitting your head with enough force to twist it and causing paralysis. It's a weapon that can kill.'' Zivon explained.
After a brief demonstration of both martial arts, which one do our panelists believe takes the edge?
''As we've seen, both are deadly and can cause serious injuries and hell, they can kill you too. I am calling this one even.'' DAM started off.
''I agree, both are so brutal and you wouldn't expect these martial arts to actually kill you, it's that deception in both that makes this an even comparison.'' Zivon added.
''I would go with the ROKMC because their martial art is much faster and moves more fluidly but the USMC hits with much more force.'' Demigod said.
''Having trained in the Army's combatives program I know what kind of trauma and pain these two styles can cause. The ROK Marines are more speed oriented while the USMC is more brute force. It's a total wash and falls on the individual Marine's skill with his style.'' Rice Man concluded.
In martial arts, both warriors are dead even.
Coming up, Computer wizz Metal Harbinger will gauge the x-factors and our battle finally begins!

Welcome back to the fight club, here we've tested and compared six weapons used by modern warfare's most elite amphibious task forces.
For melee weapons, the USMC and ROKMC knives were determined to be identical in damage and function.
''These two blades literally have the same design so it's all going to fall on the individual Marine wielding them.'' DAM explained.
Edge: Even
For close range, the ROKMC's Daewoo K5 outperformed the USMC's Colt M1911A1.
''Sure the Colt has that awesome .45 ACP for stopping power but what good is it going to do when you are going up against a pistol that has 8 more rounds and lesser recoil on you? You'll be out of bullets but the K5 is still shooting at you.'' Rice Man said.
Edge: Republic of Korea Marine Corps
For mid-range weapons, the USMC M1014 and ROKMC's Daewoo USAS-12 were determined to be equally effective.
''These two weapons are semi-automatic/automatic monsters that can spew out lots of shells in a split-second. We had to give them both the edge because of their similar rates of fire and cartridge and overall damage.'' Zivon said.
Edge: Even
For assault rifles, the USMC's M16A4 and ROKMC's Daewoo Precisions K2 were equally lethal.
''Both weapons fire the same cartridge, same range, similar muzzle velocity. The M16A4 has the slight, but very slight advantage in accuracy and range but that's it. Since these two forces are well-trained riflemen they are even.'' Demigod said.
Edge: Even
For sniper rifles, the USMC's M39 EMR proved more effective in the heat of battle over the ROKMC's S&T Motiv K14.
''The M39 has a much larger magazine and you don't need to reload often in a combat scenario like the K14.'' Rice Man said.
Edge: United States Marine Corps
And finally, the ROKMC's M72 LAW proved more powerful than the USMC's M18A1 Claymore.
''Since the M72 has the range due to it being a launcher it can take out a U.S. Marine setting up a claymore from a much greater distance and it's destructive power as well helps it win here.'' Demigod concluded.
Edge: Republic of Korea Marine Corps
Now, Metal Harbinger will gauge the x-factors of each warrior.
''Okay, it's finally time to get those x-factors done and spread the sickness.'' Metal said taking a seat in front of the simulator. He plays air guitar and headbangs for a few seconds before continuing. ''Alright let's do this.''
''For training it was definitely a tough one. Both are very well trained in amphibious warfare and they tend to have a lot of men and women quit during training and for that I give them both a 93.''
''Combat experience is super important and it's obvious who gets it. The USMC has so much experience under their belts fighting in both Iraq and Afghanistan, the ROK Marines have almost zero combat experience except the short time they deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan plus their combat deployments to Vietnam in the 60s. The U.S.M.C. has an 89 to the ROK Marines with a 75.''
''For physicality, both these forces have very fit warriors within their ranks due to their tough and long training. They carry heavy weaponry and the road marches they do ensure they build up their resilience and enables them to not grow tired easily while carrying full battle rattle. Both have a 90.''
''Extremism was an odd one to consider, but I did it anyway and the ROK Marines take this. The U.S. Marines are taught to be vicious in combat but of course you don't really want your warriors to kill every single enemy right? You'd need one to spill information to benefit you later. The ROK Marines will kill every single North Korean soldier down to the last man and that's what they are taught to do. They have a 92 to the U.S.M.C. 88.''
''Adaptability is also considered and the U.S. Marines take it. They've been around the world and back again ever since their birth, being in different countries gives them exposure to new types of enemies and environments preparing them better for battle. The ROK Marines only focus on several peacekeeping missions and their native South Korea. The U.S. Marines have a 90 to the ROK Marines 80.''
''Last but not least we have martial arts. It's a dead tie between these two because their fighting styles put a lot of emphasis on speed and brute strength. Both have a 91 each.''
Our panel has finished gathering weapons data and gauging the x-factors. We will now begin our battle between two elite amphibious task forces pitting 5 U.S. Marines against 5 South Korean Marines.
United States of America
(U.S. Marines are seen in a firefight with Taliban insurgents attacking their F.O.B., the insurgents are soon repelled as many of their forces are killed.)
vs. Republic of Korea
(A battalion sized element of ROK Marines are seen in a shootout with North Korean forces at the DMZ. The North Korean retreat in panic as they are overrunned.)
Marine
(Marine Corps trainees are seen doing their Crucible training exercise, one trainee falls over in exhaustion but his fellow Marines pick him up and carry him on their backs as their Drill Instructors yell at them.)
vs. Marine
(ROK Marine recruits are seen sparring in Tae Kwon Do, one recruit is knocked to the ground by his instructor with his face all bloodied up but is helped up.)
Only one amphibious task force will emerge victorious.
''In the end, one Marine Corps will stand, let's see who achieves victory.'' Metal said as he presses the enter key.

It's a quiet evening on the island of Jejudo off the southern coast of South Korea. The scene shifts over to a U.S. Navy Amphibious Assault Ship, the U.S.S. Essex. The stern gate opens and a landing craft with 5 U.S. Marines are seen on-board. Their orders are to take a small South Korean military outpost on Jejudo.
United States Marine Corps: 5
The camera pans over and we see a large South Korean military complex, at the gate is one ROK Marine, on the roof is a sniper armed with an S&T K14 eating an MRE and the other 3 are relaxing inside the PX, although they are off for the weekend they are still armed with their rifles just in case.
Republic of Korea Marine Corps: 5
On the nearby shores, the American marines have successfully landed and are gathering their gear ready for combat. The team leader orders his sniper to take position atop a hill overlooking the complex.
The team leader and the rest of his fire team advance towards the complex. The sniper spots the ROK Marine standing guard at the front gate, quickly acquiring him in his reticule, he squeezes the trigger and the Korean marine goes down with one round to the chest blowing it out.
United States Marine Corps: 5 - Republic of Korea Marine Corps: 4
Hearing the echoing of the gunshot, the ROK sniper drops his MRE and gets on his K14. He peers into it and spots the U.S. Marines breaching the front gate, looking into his scope, he takes aim at the point-man and fires a round dropping the American with a round to the head.
United States Marine Corps: 4 - Republic of Korea Marine Corps: 4
''Shit, sniper, take cover!'' One of the American marines calls out. Hearing the gunfire, the other 3 ROK Marines get up and gather their weapons in preparation for combat. They run out into the main area and spot the U.S. Marines seeking cover, Aiming their weapons, the ROK Marines open fire on the Americans.
The ROK Marines manage to hit one American marine in the side knocking him down, ''Man down!'' One of the American marines yells out as he goes to fireman carry his wounded comrade.
Spotting the American lifting his wounded comrade up, the ROK team leader shouts out ''geu saekki sswa!''
The other ROK Marines show no remorse as they gun him down in a flurry of bullets, his body twitching with each round hitting his body. His body is sent flying as one of the Koreans fires his USAS-12 and the Marine's corpse is sent flying.
United States Marine Corps: 3 - Republic of Korea Marine Corps: 4
''Private no!'' The U.S. Marine team leader shouts out, he takes his M1014 and fires at the Koreans forcing them cover. He takes an M18A1 claymore and hands it over to the wounded Marine.
Nodding, the Private takes an M18A1 claymore, knowing what he will be ordered to do, he shakes the Gunny's hand and they both nod before the Gunny runs off. The wounded Private begins setting up his claymore.
Meanwhile, the two snipers are seen firing back and forth, annoyed that his sniper has run out of bullets, the ROK Marine takes his helmet off and places it on his sniper's barrel. He then takes a loaded M72 LAW from his pack and prepares it.
''This motherfucker is good. Fuck, only one left in the chamber.'' The American sniper thinks to himself.
He sees what appears to be a helmet peeking over the edge of the roof. He takes a deep breath and prepares to fire his last round.
Raising the rifle a few feet away from cover, the American marine fires, the round hitting the helmet, just as the helmet flies off the rifle's barrel, the ROK Marine jumps out of cover and aims his M72 at the American, pressing the button, the LAW fires off it's warhead and the American is vaporized in the following explosion.
United States Marine Corps: 2 - Republic of Korea Marine Corps: 4
Satisfied with his handy work, the sniper slides off the building via a pipe and and lands near the front gate, running over to the wounded Marine, he raises his K5 pistol and slowly approaches the American.
He hears footsteps and looks up to see his leader and his two corporals approaching.
"Igeos-eun dangsin geos-ibnida." The ROK Marine Sergeant says.
With that, he and the corporal run off to find the other American. Looking at the wounded devil dog, the ROK Marine taunts him by shooting him in both legs and kicking him repeatedly.
''Agh! You think this hurts me? You're wrong asshole!'' The American says before raising his detonator, the ROK Marine's eyes go wide and before he can run, the claymore detonates and he is killed as his body is shredded by the steel balls.
United States Marine Corps: 2 - Republic of Korea Marine Corps: 3
''Oorah motherfucker!'' The American marine manages to get out before he succumbs to his blood loss.
United States Marine Corps: 1 - Republic of Korea Marine Corps: 3
Running into the building where they believe the last American has run off to, they each decide to split up and search the building from the ground up.
One of the ROK Marines wonders into a weapon's storage room with his USAS-12 held in front of him. He hears movement from behind him and he turns. Before he knew what hit him the American fires a blast from his M1014 and the Korean is sent flying against the wall, his corpse slumping to the ground.
United States Marine Corps: 1 - Republic of Korea Marine Corps: 2
He exits out the room and draws his M16A4 and rushes out of the weapon storage. As soon as he does, he is fired upon by another one of the ROK Marines wielding a K5, taking cover, he aims his M16A4 and unloads half the magazine.
One of the rounds manages to hit the ROK Marine in the chest knocking him back. Hearing cries of pain, he picks up his OKC-3S Bayonet and walks over to the Korean, grabbing a hold of his neck, he finishes him off with a thrust of the bayonet through his throat before slitting it.
United States Marine Corps: 1 - Republic of Korea Marine Corps: 1
He gets up and proceeds to make his way into the lower levels of the building, unknown to him the ROK Sergeant is seen tailing and quickly makes his way down another flight of stairs to get to the bottom floors before the American does.
He reaches the lower basement and lies in wait the unsuspecting American using the cover of the darkness.
The American makes his way down to the bottom of the stairs into dark basement, he turns on the lights and as he does, the ROK Sergeant lunges straight at him and forces him against the wall. Pinning his opponent down, the ROK Sergeant delivers a flurry of punches to the Marine's face before shoving him sideways and strikes him across the face with a high speed roundhouse kick.
Grunting in pain, the U.S. Marine recovers and manages to block another kick and with a quick reaction, brings his elbow down onto the ROK Marine's knee knocking him down to the ground as well.
However the ROK Marine quickly twirls his body 90 degrees and strikes the American across the jaw repeatedly with a series of hurricane kicks. Seeing his enemy stunned he draws his ka-bar and performs a running jump kick knocking the devil dog to the ground.
''Fuck man!'' The American yells out in frustration as he draws his bayonet as the ROK Sergeant brings his ka-bar down in hopes of skewering the American through the eye.
The devil dog manages to raise his bayonet and catches the ka-bar, both Marines struggle for control of the situation and it would be the American who gains the upper hand, quickly maneuvering one of his hands, he grabs the Korean by the wrist and uses it as leverage and performs a kick that knocks the Korean away and he follows up with a slice that cuts into the Korean's arm.
Quickly getting up, the Marine charges the ROK Sergeant and puts him in a lethal choke, gasping for air the Korean uses his foot and positions it behind one of the American's legs and manages to kick it and both fall to the ground, the Marine however doesn't release him from the choke and the Korean responds with a stab to the side.
The devil dog screams in pain and shoves the Korean away. Having had enough of this, he takes his Colt M1911A1 from his holster and raises it aiming at the ROK Marine. Before he could get a round off the Korean grabs the gun and both wrestle for control over it.
In another battle of strength, the American, seeing this go nowhere kicks the Korean in his scrotum making the man double over in pain.
''Jogeumdo! dangsin-i mini mesinjeoleul chass-eo!'' The Korean grunts out in pain.
Taking advantage of the situation, the devil dog puts the Korean in an arm lock and proceeds to punch him in the gut before shoving him against the wall. He continues his ravaging assault as he pummels him into submission with various kicks and punches before applying a chokehold.
The Korean Marine, too weak to fight back after the beating, struggles for a bit to break free and manages to break away from the chokehold and shoves the American Marine away, however before he could even do anything the American performs his own roundhouse kick knocking him against the wall once more.
He raises his Colt and squeezes the trigger seven times emptying the magazine into his opponent's chest. The ROK Sergeant slumps to the ground as a trail of blood follows.
United States Marine Corps: 1 - Republic of Korea Marine Corps: 0
Taking a deep breath, the victorious devil dog raises his pistol into the air and shouts out ''Semper Fi!''

Following a close battle between two amphibious task forces, the United States Marine Corps achieves victory with a close 51.3% of the wins. Their M39 Enhanced Marksman Rifle outshot the ROKMC's K14. The ROKMC made this fight a lot more difficult due to their superior training, their comparable weapons and the quick movements of their tae kwon do allowing them to win 48.7% keeping them close behind the devil dogs.
''This was a very difficult and close fight to resolve, the USMC ended up the winners because they were more experienced in actual combat, the ROKMC however, made it close because they were just as trained and just as good with their weapons and they really gave the Americans a hard time.'' DAM commented.
''If you have more combat experience against people who don't really have it, makes sense you emerge the winner.'' Zivon added.
''It makes sense. The USMC just had the combat experience fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. Training is always great but experience is better.'' Demigod said.
''Congratulations to my Marine Corps brothers. Had the ROKMC deployed regular combat forces alongside us in Iraq and Afghanistan then they would've either won or made this a draw. This was a hard earned victory for you devil dogs. ROKMC, you will get them next time.'' Rice Man concluded.
(The U.S. Marine Gunnery Sergeant is seen smoking a cigarette as he watches as the ROK Sergeant rise to his feet grunting in pain, they then shake hands and pat each other on the back. They make their way outside as their men begin getting up and stretching and shaking hands. Wait...it was all just a training exercise and the gore and explosions were all in their heads!)
