GIGN: France's elite counter-terrorism unit whose successful track record make them one of the most experienced counter-terrorist forces in the world.

(GIGN operators are seen making their way up to a building occupied by terrorists. They break through the door and gun down all terrorists within the first room before advancing to the next.)

(Five men wearing a greenish uniform in similar riot gear take their weapons, one of them tossing a stun grenade and point them at the camera.)

YAMAM: Israel's elite border police who protect their nation and people from all threats from criminals to terrorists.

(YAMAM officers storm into an elementary school that has been taken hostage by Hamas. They reach a class full of said terrorists and gun them down.)

WHO IS DEADLIEST?

To find out, we've assembled a team of world class fighters to test history's most lethal weapons. Using 21st century science, we'll see what happens when two warriors go toe to toe.

No rules. No safety. No mercy. It's a duel to the death to decide who is…THE DEADLIEST WARRIOR!

Here in our elite fight club we have gathered doctors, medical scientists and weapons experts to test out the lethal arsenals wielded by each of our combatants to determine who would win a fight between two of earth's finest counter-terrorism police forces.

''Today on Deadliest Warrior we are having a first here involving two of the world's most famous counter-terrorist police forces collide when France's GIGN takes on the Israeli YAMAM. It's going to be a great battle between two highly experienced police forces.'' DeadAliveManiac said excitedly.

''I love this match because these two units perform both regular SWAT duties and military as well. It's that similarity that makes this awesome but in the end I'm siding with the YAMAM.'' Zivon96 said, ''I think they're dealing with criminals and terrorists on a more regular basis than their French counterparts which gives them undeniable experience. Also, remember I'm Israeli so I admit I'm just being bias in this one.''

''Well, I suppose but the GIGN seems better trained to me. I think their training will help out a lot plus they are also experienced and operate worldwide alongside the French Armed Forces.'' MKDemigodZ-Warrior countered.

''Two highly revered counter-terrorist police forces collide for the very first time to prove who is superior. We've got rifles, sidearms and for the first time ever we're testing non-lethal weapons such as CS gas and flashbangs. This is gonna be fun.'' Rice Man concluded.

GIGN, or Groupe d'intervention de la Gendarmerie nationale is the elite Police Tactical Unit of the French National Gendarmerie. Its missions include counter-terrorism, hostage rescue, surveillance of national threats, protection of government officials, and targeting organized crime.

''These men undergo some great training that you can literally mistake them for being a real special forces units like S.A.S. and even Spetsnaz GRU.'' Rice Man explained.

Since its formation, GIGN has been involved in over 1,800 missions and rescued more than 600 hostages, making it one of the most experienced counter-terrorism units in the world.

''GIGN is an elite unit comprised of the best trained men from the National Gendermarie. Not only do they perform normal police duties, they also practice HALO and HAHO jumping and can operate worldwide. They are on par with even special forces again like the S.A.S. and Spetsnaz and are reputed to be even better than SWAT. That's how badass these guys are.'' Rice Man concluded.

The GIGN gunned down all terrorist threats with the best weapons money can obtain.

Short Range: Manhurin MR 73

Mid-Range: Heckler & Koch MP5A5

Assault Rifle: Heckler & Koch HK33

Sniper Rifle: Arctic Warfare Magnum .338

Special: Tear Gas Grenade

Today, the GIGN will come to face another counter-terrorist unit just as lethal and experienced as them.

The YAMAM is Israel's very own counter-terrorism unit, one of four special units of the Israel Border Police. The YAMAM is capable of both hostage-rescue operations and offensive take-over raids against targets in civilian areas. Besides military duties, it also performs SWAT duties and undercover police work.

''To serve in YAMAM, you first need to be 22 to 30 years old and served for 3-years as in infanrtyman in the IDF. A requirement like that makes this unit so small, yet so elite.'' Rice Man explained.

The YAMAM was established in late 1974 after the Ma'alot massacre, where a failed rescue operation by special forces units resulted in the murder of 21 schoolchildren before the hostage takers were killed. Since hostage rescue tactics in friendly territory differ from those used in hostile areas, it was decided to establish an elite civilian force which develops and practices a special CQB (Close Quarters Battles) doctrine for counter-terrorism operations in friendly territory and hostage rescue.

''YAMAM has earned their place among the special police forces and have been compared to the SWAT, RAID, and GSG-9. The GIGN has a new opponent who packs some hard men in their ranks and are very motivated to protect their families.'' Rice Man concluded.

The Israeli Border Police protected their country's borders with a precise assortment of weapons well-suited for stopping both terrorists and criminals.

Short Range: Glock 19

Mid-Range: Para Micro-Uzi

Assault Rifle: M4 Carbine

Sniper Rifle: Barrett MRAD

Special: M84 Stun Grenade

When these two groups came into close combat with terrorists they brought with them two highly reliable sidearms. Up first will be the GIGN with the Manhurin MR 73.

''The Manhurin MR 73 is a French-manufactured, double-action revolver chambered in .38 Special/.357 Magnum. It weighs 880 grams, and has a 6-round cylinder. It may be an old weapon but has proven itself as very useful to the GIGN so much that we still use it today.'' GIGN operator Jacques Thomas explained displaying his weapon proudly.

To test out the MR 73, DAM has set up a scenario where our expert will perform a mission to rescue a VIP. The expert will have 12 shots to complete the task and will be timed. To maintain a fair test only the panel will be able to see the footage via cameras.

''Alright Jacques, we'll give you 12 rounds to complete the task and you will be timed. Remember only to kill the hostage takers and not the hostage.'' DAM explained.

The officer nods and gets ready to breach the door. Looking over to DAM he nods signifying that he is ready to begin.

''On my count. 3...2...1...Go!" DAM shouted.

Jacques kicks the door open and was immediately greeted by the first target several feet down the hallways and fires off two shots into the target's chest before making his way into the first room on his right and was greeted by the second target which had a hostage held at gunpoint. With precise aiming the French operative fires a single shot into the target's cheek and the force of the round knocked the target onto it's back.

''Nice, he's a really good shot.'' DAM commented.

With that out of the way Jacques continues to make his way through the building and out from the corner of the hallway another target appears wielding an AK-47 and Jacques fires the last three shots from his first cylinder spraying blood all over the opposite wall. His first six shots expended Jacques goes to reload his weapon and thanks to him carrying an ammo carrier he opens his cylinder and inserts the rounds before cocking his weapon and just as he does that another target bursts through the door in front of him catching him by surprise. He shoots on instinct and fires two rounds into through it's neck before making his way into the final room where the hostage and final target was and entering the room with a rush he fires his last four shots into the torso's head before grabbing the hostage and making his way out of the building as DAM calls time.

''Excellent work there Jacques. You finished it in 1 minute and 56 seconds.'' Demigod said.

The panel makes their way into the house so Zivon can assess the damage dealt. He walks through the building to inspect each individual target.

''Okay guys, from what I'm seeing the first target took two rounds to his chest and with the shot placement you got you struck him in his left lung and aorta. Normally the lung shot wouldn't kill but the aorta shot would be all you need to cause this guy to die and instantly as well. For the second guy you dropped him with a single shot that goes through his cheeks and this would kill him instantly. The third guy took two shots through his neck but in actuality you only needed one and if you hit him in the right spot you can kill him and you did just that by hitting him in the carotid artery causing a quick bleed out. The final target took multiple rounds to the head and do I really need to explain that? You shot his head to pieces.'' Zivon concluded poking the mess.

''One thing I noticed is that you went for the reload and the third target popped out and even though you just finished the reload you reacted quickly and took him down without a problem.'' Rice Man said.

''Yeah, I was lucky to have a carrier with me and like most people who would just insert the rounds one at a time GIGN officers always have an ammo carrier with them.'' Jacques explained.

We've seen the Glock 19 before and after reviewing the test from ''Spetsnaz GRU vs. Sayeret Matkal'' the team doesn't take long to come to their decision.

''We've seen comparisons like this before and while the Manhurin does have the stopping power with the .357 cartridge you still have only six shots while the Glock like most other pistols can have large magazines. Edge Glock 19.'' DAM started off.

''I agree, though I would call this even in the classic comparison of magazine size versus stopping power. However, what good is stopping power if you only six shots? Edge Glock 19.'' Zivon seconded.

''Pistols always beat revolver. Edge Glock 19.'' Demigod added.

''Would you rather have more rounds or greater stopping power? The Glock has a magazine of 17-round standard with a plus 2 extension. Edge Glock 19.'' Rice Man concluded.

In short range weapons, the edge goes to YAMAM for the Glock 19.

Coming up, two iconic submachine guns are compared and two of the most accurate assault rifles of the western world come forth.

XXXXXX

When use of submachine guns were needed our police forces relied on two of the world's most famous spray weapons ever devised. Since we've already seen the MP5 and Uzi before the team looks over the testing of similar weapons from past seasons and after a brief debate they finally come to their decision.

''We've seen a comparison like this before and I see no difference between these two guns since they have fast rates of fire and are very accurate.'' DAM started off.

''I disagree and give this to the MP5 because to me it seems more deadly on accuracy and you gotta love that German engineering.'' Zivon countered.

''I give it to the MP5 because it's the modern gun and it can be modified to have 100-rounds.'' Demigod plainly said.

''In my perspective, both these weapons are extremely accurate and can spit lead downrange easily. However, with the A5 model it's an improved variant over the original MP5 and it is incredibly modular. The Para-Micro Uzi may be concealable but in a firefight, however being concealable isn't everything. Edge MP5A5.'' Rice Man concluded.

In mid-range weapons, the edge goes to the GIGN for the Heckler & Koch MP5A5.

Moving on to assault rifles these two counter-terrorist groups brought with them the West's most accurate guns for putting enemies down from long distances. Since we've already seen the M4 weapon family many times before in previous episodes the team reviews the testing of similar weapons from passed episodes before moving on.

''So we've seen how accurate the M4 carbine as well as it's performance under similar situations. Now all we need to do is to see what the GIGN will bring in.'' DAM said.

GIGN blast criminals away with one of the most high-tech and accurate assault rifles ever devised by Heckler & Koch. The HK33.

''The HK33 is is a 5.56mm assault rifle developed in the 1960s by West German armament manufacturer Heckler & Koch. Capitalizing on the success of their G3 design, the company developed a family of small arms and all used the G3 operating principle and basic design concept consisting of four types of firearms: the first type, chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO, the second—using the Soviet 7.62×39mm M43 round, third—the intermediate 5.56×45mm caliber and the fourth type—chambered for the 9×19mm Parabellum pistol cartridge. This specific model fires like I said earlier the standard NATO 5.56. It weighs 8 pounds with a muzzle velocity of 950 meters per second and a range of 400 meters.'' Explained Jacques.

''This weapon sure looks like it's very accurate, modern, and reliable. To test out the rifle we've set up a breaching scenario where you will storm this small house full of drug smugglers and you will gun them all down and on top of that, we'll be the only ones seeing this much like your revolver test and you will also be timed. All targets are considered hostile. For the element of teamwork Rice Man will be accompanying you.'' DAM explained pointing towards the test set up.

Nodding, Jacques and Rice Man grab their magazine and head over to the side door where they will begin their mission. Rice Man feels the door for any booby traps and looking at the French operative he receives a nod. Rice Man then kicks the door open and he immediately spots the first target and pumps four rounds into the mannequin sending it slumping back against the wall before motioning Jacques to follow suit. The two men continue their way through the building and Jacques spots another target from Rice Man's blind spot and calls it out.

Rice Man turns to face the target and together both men gun the enemy with several rounds before moving towards the next door. Rice Man motions for Jacques to feel the door for any booby traps and nodding, Jacque kicks the door down and spots two more targets.

''Targets!"

Jacques and Rice Man then proceed to take the two targets down with extreme precision sending blood flying everywhere before moving on. They move towards the end of the hallway and come across the final door. Both men get on both sides of the door ready to breach it. Rice Man and Jacques nod to each other signaling the other that they were ready. In sync, the two men kick the door right off it's hinges and move into the room swiftly and smoothly while gunning down the terrorists in the room, each sending a salvo of lead into their own targets before their guns click empty.

''Done!" Jacques called out.

''1 minute and 45 seconds for your overall time men. Good work.'' DAM said as they all walk into the building to assess the damage.

Zivon, the good Canadian doctor insects each individual target within the testing area and walks back to the panel to give his assessment of the carnage.

''You guys did a good job taking those targets down. The first target that Rice Man took out saw four rounds into it's chest and one hit him right in the aorta which will instantly kill him. The second target that appeared at Rice Man's blind spot the both of you gunned him down and pumped him full of lead, quite literally and most of the shots hit him in lethal spots guaranteeing a kill. Then you guys moved on to the final room which had three targets and there's no doubt you killed all three with those various shots to the head, neck, chest, and stomach and the combination of those shot placements are all kills. Good work.''

''Just goes to show why the GIGN is one of the best counter-terrorist units in the world. We're proven.'' Jacques commented.

After conducting the test of the HK33's performance in gunning down terrorists and reviewing the testing of similar weapons to the M4 Carbine, which assault rifle do our experts believe takes the edge?

''I'm calling this one even because both these weapon systems fire the same cartridge and have about the same range. It'll come down to the man behind the weapon that decides which one outguns the other.'' DAM started out.

''Totally agree on that assessment. These two weapons have no problem when it comes to taking enemies down at further distances and have almost the same magazine capacities. Edge even.'' Zivon seconded.

''I say even as well for the reasons you two provided.'' Demigod inquired.

''Western firearms like these two are world-renowned for their accuracy. These two can have the ability to use larger magazines. For accuracy, range, reliability if taken care of properly I have to call this edge as even all the way.'' Rice Man concluded.

In long range assault rifles, the edge is even.

Coming up. Things are taken out much further when two bad ass sniper rifles come forth and then later, two highly potent tools used to subdue criminals come into play.

XXXXXX

When it was required to blow a man's skull from over a mile away, our counter-terrorists relied on two high powered sniper rifles to get the job done. Since we've already seen a similar sniper rifle used by the SAS the YAMAM will showcase their favorite weapon.

''The Barrett MRAD or Multi-Role Adaptive Design is a bolt-action sniper rifle that was designed by Barrett to meet the requirements of the SOCOM PSR.[4] The MRAD is based on the Barrett 98B with a number of modifications and improvements. It is the standard issue sniper of YAMAM and following very positive reviews the IDF is considering adopting this weapon as well. It weighs 13 pounds, fires the .338 Lapua Magnum cartridge and uses a 10-round box magazine.'' Explained YAMAM officer Moti Kanarik.

''This thing seriously looks like a very modernized weapon as well as very accurate and powerful too.'' DAM commented.

To test out the accuracy and damage of the MRAD, our team has set up a hostage scenario where the hostage will be positioned behind a window. Behind it will be the terrorist. The objective, kill the terrorist with a single shot. Adding difficulty to the shot the window has been angled at 45 degrees.

''Alright Moti, load up your magazine and go ahead and begin when you're ready.'' Rice Man called out.

Moti takes his weapon and climbs the ladder up onto the elevated platform. Getting into a prone position he takes his magazine and loads it into his weapon. Peeking into his scope he positions his sight reticle on target and takes several breaths. After letting his breath out, he slowly squeezes the trigger until his weapon fires off it's round hitting the window and the target knocking it to the ground.

''Damn, let's see what we got.'' DAM said.

The panel then walks over to assess the damage.

''You know, there's a reason why in the modern day we say bull's-eye.'' Zivon said as he scoops up the target's eye, or what was left of it. ''Moti literally, literally hit the eye and popped it out and the exit wound is as nasty. He's got a big hole at the back of his skull and if there was a wall behind him his brain would be splattered all over it.''

''The fact that you hit the target on the right side away from the hostage you took quite possibly the safest shot ever.'' Demigod said.

''Well, YAMAM sniper operating an MRAD you get good results.'' Moti bragged.

''I can match your sniper kill for kill. We have the same cartridge and ours is a proven weapon's system.'' Jacques said.

''Eye for an eye?'' Rice Man asked.

''Oh yeah.''

Now it was Jacques turn to fire the GIGN's Arctic Warfare Magnum .338 at the same target as Moti.

''Alright Jacques, it's the same exact test for you. Climb up the latter and begin whenever you're ready.'' DAM said.

Jacques takes his rifle and ascends onto the elevated platform and with his sniper ready for him. He loads in the magazine and chambers in a .338 Lapua Magnum round and peeks into the scope and sets his scope reticule on target. Without taking a few breaths he immediately fires off his round and the round drills it's way into the targer's forehead blowing the top of head clean off.

''Well, the escalated quickly.'' Demigod said as they all walk over to assess the damage.

''This guy had half the head he used to half because the power of the round and where you struck him literally blew off the top half of his head and imagine how gory this really would be if this was a real person. Hell, I can't even find his eyes so I'm guessing they were blown away somewhere. He gone.'' Zivon explained.

Rice Man then walks over carrying the torso's fake eyeballs and hands it to the good doctor.

''Oh, there they are.''

''My thing is that you did not take the time to completely acquire the enemy. What if you accidentally hit the hostage?''

''Doesn't matter because if I took too long to acquire the enemy he probably would've killed the hostage before I can make the shot. Plus, just like you it was on the forehead which is still better than shooting the guy on his left side. Hostage saved end of story.'' Jacques retorted.

After testing out both snipers in a hostage rescue scenario and reviewing the specifications of both snipers which one does the panel believe takes the edge?

''I see equal accuracy with both weapons. They delivered a single shot to take the hostage taker down and both fire the same cartridge. The performances of these two weapons will fall down on the man operating them so I call this even.'' DAM started off.

''I have to agree on this one, both have the same cartridge, around the same range and are very accurate. Even all the way for me as well.'' Zivon added.

''It reminds me of the USMC versus ROKMC comparison but this time it's more even. Whoever hits the other first wins the battle.'' Demigod said.

''Same cartridge, same magazine size, both bolt-action, both very accurate and well-suited for blowing heads into pieces. Yeah I'm calling this even.'' Rice Man concluded.

In long range sniper rifles, both warriors are dead even.

Coming up, for the first time in Deadliest Warrior history, we test out non-lethal weapons on a living man and then later, two highly-trained and elite counter-terrorism units collide for the first time!

XXXXXX

When subduing criminals and terrorist without using lethal force was required, these two units brought with them two very different, but yet so similar methods of capturing the subject alive. Up first will be the GIGN with their trusted tear gas grenade.

''So in regards to subduing armed suspects in a non-lethal manner how would the GIGN handle that Jacques?'' DAM asked.

''We have various ways to do this and one of the most common would be the use of a tear gas grenade when it comes to breaching a room full of suspects.'' Said the French officer, producing a tear gas grenade for all to see. ''This specific grenade here is a riot control device that contains CS gas. When a target is affected by it they will experience a burning sensation on their skin, their nose's will begin to run wild and they will experience crazy coughing which is very effective in taking down a group of suspects without killing them. Or we would toss this into a room and with gas masks on, gun down all armed suspects if necessary.''

''Damn right on the CS gas, that thing is a killer and I experienced it during Infantry OSUT, helps with clogged sinuses too.'' Rice Man said putting in his two cents.

The team then makes their way towards one of the cameramen, Rice Man and Demigod have volunteered to be subdued for the tear gas grenade and make their way into a small unused room in the fight club with ventilation.

''Demigod, you ready?'' Asked Rice Man.

''Yeah, just a bit nervous is all.''

''Don't worry, all we have to do is endure the gas for 10 seconds then we bail.''

The two then enter the room and Jacques preps the grenade for use. Rice Man calls for Jacques to toss the grenade in from the other side of the door and the French officer opens the door slightly to roll the grenade into the room and within a matter of seconds, coughing and gagging can be heard from the other side of the door and after ten seconds have passed, both Rice Man and Demigod kick the door open and run out.

''Whoo! FUCK YEAH!'' Rice Man exclaimed as he continues to have snot coming out his nose. Demigod in the same situation.

After about ten minutes the affects of the gas wear off and the two men were able to regain their bearings.

''So how did that feel you guys?'' DAM asked his fellow panelists.

''The feeling of the intense burn on your skin, your eyes, and the inside of your nose was intense and I am all too familiar with this feeling. I was unable to do anything since I was inhaling the gas and I noticed Demigod tried to keep his eyes and mouth shut.'' Rice Man explained.

''It didn't work, the gas was still able to get me coughing and reduced to a snotty mess. The skin on fire feeling was crazy I really couldn't do anything like Rice said.'' Demigod added.

''That's right on point you guys, made to subdue large groups of enemies.'' Jacques said.

''My thing with tear gas is that you need to be careful because there are people in this world who won't have a reaction to it at all. Plus there is also the factor of someone being able to fight back without problems despite inhaling the gas.'' Moti commented.

YAMAM had their own tool to subdue armed suspects. The M84 Stun Grenade.

''The M84 Stun Grenade. also known as a flashbang or stun grenade, is the currently-issued stun grenade of the United States Military as well as internationally. Upon detonation, it emits an intensely loud "bang" of 170–180 decibels and a blinding flash of more than one million candela within five feet of initiation, sufficient to cause immediate flash blindness, deafness, tinnitus, and inner ear disturbance. Exposed personnel experience disorientation, confusion and loss of coordination and balance. While these effects are all intended to be temporary, there is risk of permanent injury. Consequently, the M84 is classified as a less-lethal weapon for obvious reasons. Perfect for subduing suspects especially in an enclosed space.'' Explained Moti.

To test out the M84, now it is DAM and Zivon's turn to experience the magnificent bang of the M84 and the two panelists head into the room where they await the impending suck.

''Alright, DAM, Zivon, are you both ready?'' Rice Man yelled.

''Yeah.'' The two yelled from the other side of the door.

Moti then preps his stun grenade and opening the door he hurls the grenade into the room and a few seconds later a loud 'bang' is heard and they hear both DAM and Zivon give out a shout pain and Moti, Jacques, Demigod, and Rice Man enter the room to see the other two panelists on the floor covering their ears.

''Sucks yeah?'' Rice Man asked.

Several minutes would pass until Zivon and DAM would recover from the banging onslaught and the two sit up.

''Damn, that was the loudest thing I've ever heard and I instantly fell to the floor due to the loss of balance.'' DAM commented.

''Agreed, the instant blindness too sealed the deal and if I were an armed suspect I'd be either dead full of lead or in handcuffs right now.'' Zivon chipped in.

''Yeah, it's a powerful tool to subdue suspects whether we want to kill them or just capture them. You couldn't fight back at all no?'' Moti asked.

DAM and Zivon responded with a nod.

''The M84 is only really effective in an enclosed space like this room, the tear gas you can just toss in a few and they can cover a large area and not to mention the stun grenade can also injure the user should they mishandle it causing a permanent injury.'' Jacques inquired.

After testing out both the M84 and the tear gas grenade on human subjects, the team now discuss among themselves which one was more effective and finally they come to their decision.

''From what Rice and Demigod told us with the tear gas grenade and from what we felt from the stun grenade these two items seem to be very effective in subduing your targets. I have to call this edge as even due to their similar usage.'' DAM started off.

''I second that notion, the tear gas has that one flaw in which if someone who doesn't have a reaction to it will be able to fight back. Though the same can be said with the stun grenade. Regardless I'm calling this edge as even.'' Zivon seconded.

''I am third on the even bandwagon. I felt so helpless with the tear gas making me gag and teary, go figure and you guys were helpless against the stun grenade. Even all the way.'' Demigod inquired.

''The tear gas causes so much agony while the stun grenade causes complete confusion and disorients you. Having experienced these two in the service I have to call even all the way because they're both just that effective.'' Rice Man concluded.

In special weapons, the edge is even.

Coming up, Metal Harbinger gauges the x-factors of both units and our battle of the counter-terrorist police forces begin!

XXXXXX

Welcome back to the fight club, here we tested the lethal and non-lethal weapons used by two of the world's most experienced counter-terrorist police forces in the world.

For short range weapons, the Glock 19 outshot the Manhurin MR 73.

''Despite the MR 73 possessing the more powerful cartridge, the Glock 19 has more rounds which will enable less reloads and being a magazine-fed weapon makes it have faster reloads as well.'' DAM explained.

Edge: YAMAM

For mid-range weapons, the H&K MPA5 was determined more effective than the Para-Micro Uzi.

''Sure the Uzi is the concealable weapon in this fight, the MPA5 is very modular, seems more accurate in terms of accuracy and can be modified to have 100 rounds.'' Zivon explained.

Edge: GIGN

For assault rifles, both the HK33 and M4 Carbine were determined to be equally lethal.

''For amazing accuracy, having the same cartridge, the same range, these two assault rifles' performance will be based on the individual using them.'' Demigod explained.

Edge: Even

For sniper rifles, the Arctic Warfare Magnum .338 and the Barrett MRAD performed identically.

''Same cartridge, superb accuracy, and well made for hostage rescues these two snipers will be hell for anyone they're aiming at. Same magazine capacity as well makes it even.'' Rice Man explained.

Edge: Even

And finally, for special weapons both the tear gas grenade and M84 stun grenade were determined equal in subduing armed suspects.

''One causes disorientation as well as temporary blindness while the other can affect a larger group and cause a lot of pain and gagging which will effectively put you to the ground. Both of these tools are just so effective at handling suspects non-lethally.'' DAM concluded.

Edge: Even

And now, Metal Harbinger will gauge the x-factors of our warriors.

''Alright, let's get this evaluation started.'' Said the metalhead.

''First as usual for a match like this we covered training. These two units are two of the most trained police forces to ever grace the modern age and the men who are accepted into both units go through some rigorous training. The GIGN goes through various weapons handling, HALO and HAHO jumping, and even underwater training. The YAMAM takes men who served in the IDF, specifically the infantry and that level of training for these units makes them even at a 93 each.''

''For operational experience this one went to the GIGN because since they are part of the French Armed Forces whenever the military deploys overseas the GIGN go along with them and that exposes them to new kinds of enemies and terrain while the YAMAM focus solely on the safety of their country's border. 90 to an 80 each.''

''Physicality is another factor and these two units put their men through intense physical training makes them highly conditioned warriors. Both score a 90 each.''

''Up next is weapon quality and both these units have access to a modernized equipment ranging from high accurate firearms and non-lethals to explosives. GIGN get to choose their weapon but the YAMAM bring in military-grade weapons. Both scored a 92 each.''

''Extremism is another one we factored in and this one went to the YAMAM because they are fighting against all threats to their homeland alongside the IDF and there is no doubt they'll be fighting much harder to keep their home safe from all criminals and terrorists. YAMAM has a 93 to the GIGN's 88.''

''Then last but not least we have endurance and both these units have their men wear heavy body armor which will make them less tired. Both score a 90 each.''

Our panel and experts have concluded their necessary tests and x-factor evaluations and now the time has come for two highly experienced police forces to meet. Who will win between the world's most elite counter-terrorist police force?

Metal will simulate the battle one-thousand times pitting 5 GIGN officers against 5 YAMAM officers.

''In the end, only one group will stand. Which one is it?'' Metal said before hitting the button.

XXXXXX

The battle begins in a small urban desertic town and from one side we see an armored truck with a French flag on it's side drive into the town. It comes to a stop and out comes five GIGN officers. They quickly make their way towards a small shack and all get on their knees as they hear something approaching from the distance.

GIGN: 5

In the distance, the five French operatives spot a vehicle with the Israeli flag on it drive up at the end of the block and come to a stop and from it emerges five men wearing a greenish looking uniform. Israeli flag patches on their shoulders revealing them to be 5 YAMAM officers.

YAMAM: 5

The GIGN leaders takes his Arctic Warfare Magnum .338 and orders his men to split up in different directions to set up an ambush. Peaking into his scope he sets his sight on the YAMAM officer in the lead and takes a few breaths before firing his sniper.

The round flying through the air before striking the unsuspecting Israeli operator blowing out the back of his skull.

GIGN: 5 - YAMAM: 4

The lead YAMAM officer yells in surprise but as soon as they take their weapons the other GIGN officers spring up from their cover and begin their ambush. The sheer amount of rounds forcing the Israelis into cover.

One Israeli officer is killed in the ensuing chaos as a French officer armed with an MP5 guns him down riddling his body with lead.

GIGN: 5 - YAMAM: 3

Another YAMAM officer takes his Uzi and jumps behind a car safely away from the sheer volume of rounds and spotting one of the GIGN officers peaking out of cover he jumps out and guns the Frenchman down with his Uzi hitting the man several times in his chest.

GIGN: 4 - YAMAM: 3

"Retraite, nous allons nous regrouper!" The lead GIGN said into his headset.

The other GIGN officers head off into the streets to regroup after their somewhat successful ambush. However, one of the YAMAM officers takes his M4 Carbine and takes aim at the GIGN and fires off a three-round burst hitting one of them in the back of the head dropping him to the ground dead.

GIGN: 3 - YAMAM: 3

''Homme mort!'' One of the GIGN shouted in distress of losing another man.

Despite that, they continue to head in various directions and seeing this, the YAMAM leader orders his men to separate to hunt their French opponents down. He takes his Barrett MRAD and heads into a two story house and begins scanning the streets in hopes of catching one of the GIGN.

Elsewhere, a GIGN officer heads into a building and draws his Manhurin revolver and lies in wait for one of the YAMAM and hearing footsteps he spots a YAMAM officer make his way into the doorway and opens fire on him.

The sudden gunfire prompts the YAMAM officer to jump back for cover and draws his Glock 19 and begins returning fire. Both sides continue firing and they go at it until the Manhurin clicks empty.

Hearing the clicking, the YAMAM officer takes an M84 Stun Grenade from his pouch and hurls it at the French officer and the sudden, loud bang knocks the Frenchman to the ground, his teeth clenched in pain and confusion as a dreaded ringing noise fills the air.

With his opponent stunned, the YAMAM officer rushes into the room and with his Glock and empties the rest of his magazine into the GIGN officer's chest killing him, his blinded vision now reduced to a darkness.

GIGN: 2 - YAMAM: 3

Smirking in satisfaction, he makes his way towards the back door of the building and unknown to him, another GIGN officer was laying in wait with his HK33 and catching the YAMAM officer off guard he empties half his magazine into the Israeli sending his body slumping against the wall, a trail of blood to follow.

GIGN: 2 - YAMAM: 2

Hearing the commotion from his second story window, the YAMAM sniper takes his MRAD and moves to the rear window and peeks into his scope and spots the GIGN officer who had just taken down another one of his men.

Wasting no time he fires off a round and the bullet strikes the French officer dead center in the chest with such force he was knocked to the ground.

GIGN: 1 - YAMAM: 2

Hearing the echoing sound of the YAMAM sniper's shot, the GIGN leader attempts to contact the rest of his team but all he got was static over the radio. Shaking his head in defeat. He decides to make a hasty retreat and coming into an open street he spots his team's vehicle in the distance and runs over to it but takes oncoming enemy fire.

The shots taking him by surprise he ducks for cover and fires back with his HK33. His own shots making the Israeli duck for cover himself and the two engage in a brief shootout before the Israeli's weapon clicks empty. Setting his M4 aside he draws his Glock and peeks out of cover but he takes a single round to the head from the Frenchman's HK33 in a one in a million shot.

GIGN: 1 - YAMAM: 1

The French officer gets up and continues his trek back towards his vehicle but like the last YAMAM officer, a single shot rings out and he is struck in the upper arm making him drop to the ground in agony.

Clutching his bleeding arm, he unslings his sniper and goes to set up a position but as soon as his head was slightly out of cover his visor is struck and shatters courtesy of another round from the YAMAM leader's MRAD. A third shot rings out and this time the YAMAM sniper disables his Arctic Warfare sniper rendering it useless.

With no other options he draws his revolver and checks his pouch and takes a tear gas grenade out. He thinks of a plan and quickly executes it by rushing out of cover and just as he anticipated, the YAMAM sniper fires off a shot and the GIGN officer catches a glimpse of the sniper's muzzle flash now knowing where the Israeli was situated. So, he quickly runs to his team's vehicle and the Israeli fires another round but misses again.

Now in the vehicle, the GIGN officer starts it up and proceeds to drive it to the location where the Israeli sniper was and seeing this, the Israeli tries to fire off a shot to hit the French officer but misses and the next thing he knew, the armored truck crashes into the small building he was in and he ends up calling to the ground in pain.

He coughs and gets up and dusts himself off but the next thing he knew he heard something clanging on the ground and spots the tear gas grenade unleashing it's CS gas. With no mask to help him he begins to cough and gag violently on the gas and he falls on one knee.

Hearing footsteps in front of him, the Israeli officer looks up despite his pain and spots the barrel of an MR 73 revolver pointed directly at his face.

''Vous êtes un homme mort.'' Said the GIGN leader and he squeezes the trigger obliterating the Israeli officer's skull sending brain matter on the ground.

GIGN: 1 - YAMAM: 0

With his enemy dead, the GIGN officer takes off the cloth he wrapped around his face to avoid the CS gas and looks at the camera casually in silent victory.

Following a close contest between the modern world's most elite and experienced counter-terrorist police forces. It would be the GIGN who emerge victorious. They won a close 50.5% compared to the YAMAM's 49.5% and it was thanks to their superior worldwide experience that allowed them to win. Both units were equally matched in all categories and was almost a literal draw. Both their assault rifles were their deadliest weapons followed by their snipers.

''The YAMAM proved to be a formidable foe for the GIGN. They were harder men, they had ex-soldiers in their ranks but the GIGN was better prepared since they operate as part of the French Armed Forces.'' DAM explained.

''I'm a bit disappointed in the loss of my fellow Israelis but in the end it makes sense. The YAMAM while they may have ex-soldiers in their ranks and are constantly on high alert when you don't operate internationally like the GIGN you'll fall a bit short.'' Zivon said.

''In a way, I can see this as a police version of Spetsnaz GRU vs. Sayeret Matkal, the unit with more worldwide experience wins almost every time.'' Demigod addded.

''It was a razor thin battle, it could've ended in a draw just like Navy SEALs vs. SAS. Congrats to the National Gendarmerie Intervention Group for their victory.'' Rice Man concluded.

(The surviving GIGN officer lies next to his vehicle and hearing the sounds of what he makes out to be a group of more vehicles he looks up and spots more GIGN arriving. He smiles seeing his fellow officers as they exit their vehicles and run up to him to see if he was wounded. He tells them he is fine and orders the medical team to gather the corpses of his men to be buried as heroes back home in France.)
