(Five African men wearing casual clothes, some wearing FLCs giving them somewhat of a militia look point their weapons at the camera.)
Somali Pirates: Africa's deadly breed of high seas hijacker who turned the Gulf of Aden into a merchant ship's worst nightmare.
(Somali pirates are seen boarding a merchant ship and gunning down the guards before forcing some of the crew into a room.)
vs.
(Five dark-skinned Asian men also dressed in casual clothes, some wearing rags on their faces point their weapons at the camera as well.)
Abu Sayyaf: Moro extremists who wage a bloody insurgency against the Philippines government for independence.
(Abu Sayyaf militants lay in wait for Filipino soldiers along a jungle trail. As the soldiers come close the militants pop out and fire gunning down several of them.)
WHO IS DEADLIEST?
To find out, we've assembled a team of world class fighters to test history's most lethal weapons. Using 21st century science, we'll see what happens when two warriors go toe to toe.
No rules. No safety. No mercy. It's a duel to the death to decide who is…THE DEADLIEST WARRIOR!
Here in our elite fight club we have gathered doctors, medical scientists and weapons experts to test out the lethal arsenals wielded by each of our combatants to determine who would win a fight between two militant groups who terrorize their respective regions.

''Here we have another battle where we put two dangerous militant groups against one another.'' Ancient weapons and combat specialist DeadAliveManiac began, ''It's a battle between two modern day pirate groups that make life a living hell in their respective regions of the world. One is the Somali Pirates who are Africa's modern high sea terrors who make lots of money holding merchants ships hostage against the Abu Sayyaf who are Moro militants that battle their nation's government for independence. Two very dangerous and motivated groups who fight for their way of life makes this an interesting battle.''
''Gonna have to go with the Somali pirates on this one.'' Medical expert Zivon96 said, ''A lot of the pirates were militiamen who fought in the Somali civil war and even have guys who know how to use guns really well and that's gonna be the deciding factor for me.''
''Well, I am gonna go with the Abu Sayyaf on this one, they are fighting the Filipino Army and Marines on a daily basis and are more ruthless against their opponents compared to the pirates.'' Weapons geek MKDemigodZ-Warrior countered.
''The Somali pirates have turned the Gulf of Aden into one of the most dangerous areas in the world to the point where other nations have called it 'Pirate Alley'. The Abu Sayyaf, for those who don't know have pledged their allegiance to ISIS and have been battling it out with the Filipino armed forces since the 90s. Both sides have their reasons for doing what they do, that and the subtle differences on their weapons will be the deciding factor in this match. It's gonna be crazy when we see who is going to kill who so let's get this started.'' Modern warfare and weapons specialist PFC Rice Man concluded.
Somalia is famous for being one of the poorest nations on Earth, a desert nation with constant famines and poverty. The Gulf of Aden is an important location for trading vessels as it allows trade between the Indian Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. The ships created overfishing, which made the fishermen of Somalia starve and attack these ships in revenge.
''Not only did your average fisherman become a pirate, a lot of them were fighters from the civil war and when you combine those two things together you get some efficient and deadly men.'' Rice Man explained.
Because there is no single terrorist group in Somalia, the term 'Somali Pirate' can refer to any of the terrorist and rebel armies, although the most powerful is believed to be Al-Shabaab with an army size of about 15,000 men and have taken over the southern half of Somalia in 2011.
''Piracy is a luxurious criminal enterprise and they have survived multiple international crackdowns so there's no way the pirates will vanish anytime soon. The only success anti-piracy operations have accomplished is lessening pirate attacks with more warships and having them become better armed. The motivation and efficiency of the Somali pirates will make them a credible challenger for the Abu Sayyaf.'' Rice Man concluded.
The feared high-jackers used the most robust Soviet designed weaponry to board and take over ships with relative ease.
Melee: Jile
Short Range: Tokarev TT-33
Mid-Range: AK-47
Long Range: RPK Light Machine Gun
Explosive: RPG-7
Today however, how will the modern pirates fare against an equally motivated but brutal militia who shows no compassion?
Abu Sayyaf, officially known by ISIL as the Islamic State – East Asia Province is a Jihadist militant and pirate group that follows the Wahhabi doctrine of Sunni Islam. It is based in and around Jolo and Basilan islands in the southwestern part of the Philippines, where for more than four decades, Moro groups have been engaged in an insurgency seeking to make the province independent.
''Moro groups like the Abu Sayyaf have a reputation as being ruthless and very uncompromising. If their ransom demands aren't met they will mercilessly execute you in the most horrid ways.'' Rice Man explained.
Since its inception in 1989, the group has carried out bombings, kidnappings, assassinations and extortion. They have been involved in criminal activities including kidnapping, rape, child sexual assault, forced marriage, drive-by shootings, extortion and drug trafficking.
''Even with the superior training and equipment of the Filipino armed forces it does little to deter the Moro extremists from achieving their objective and there's no way they will stop, not now, not tomorrow, not next week. They will not falter.'' Rice Man concluded.
The ruthless Moro militia used a highly destructive arsenal to spread terror among the islands.
Melee: Barong
Short Range: Beretta 92
Mid-Range: M16A1
Long Range: M2 Browning
Explosive: M224 Lightweight Mortar
When these militants wanted to kill their opponents up close, they relied on the traditional blades from within their nations to get the job done. Up first will be the Abu Sayyaf with a favorite among Moro tribal warriors.
The barong is a thick, leaf-shaped, single-edged blade sword. It is a weapon used by Muslim Filipino ethnolinguistic groups like the Tausug, Sinama or Yakan in the Southern Philippines. It has a blade that was made of steel measuring at 22 inches and weighed a pound.'' Filipino soldier Joshua Duterte explained.
''So you know first hand the brutality of the Abu Sayyaf, having battled them for years when you served can you show us how they would've used this weapon?'' DAM asked.
''It wasn't a weapon they'd use when they got up close with Filipino troops, if was a weapon most used for executions which is something the Abu Sayyaf love doing, especially with foreign hostages they've captured.'' explained Joshua.
''Islamic militants and their beheadings man, I'm seeing a pattern here.'' Rice Man commented.
''Execution you say? Well let's get a test set up for you then.'' Demigod said.
The team has set up a bound torso on it's knees, this will simulate one of many real life executions the Abu Sayyaf has done.
''Alright, high speed is ready, on 3...2...1...go!" DAM shouted.
Joshua then lowered the torso so that it was resting on it's stomach and the expert brought the barong to the neck and began to slowly saw through it. When he severed all the major veins and arteries he immediately stopped to let the blood pour out vigorously like a running faucet. The sounds of the blood pouring and squirting made the panel cringe at the sound and after a few seconds of doing so, Joshua then continues to saw through the neck until he got to the bone and began chopping the rest of the way through until he severed the head completely.
The team then make their way over to assess the damage.
''Okay, first off what was that about? The part where you just let him suffer with that horrendous bleedout.'' Zivon questioned.
''The Abu Sayyaf don't just behead you and get it done, they love to prolong their victims suffering by doing what I just did. Sometimes they'll even chop the neck a few times and let you bleed before ending you permanently.'' Joshua answered.
''What's the prognosis from the Canuck Jew doc?'' DAM asked.
''Well you're obviously gonna feel that blade slicing it's way through your neck and it's gonna hurt, no shit. The worst part about this is slowly bleeding to death and you're gonna feel the blood pouring out of your neck and that alone is horrifying as you'll be left wondering when your world will go dark. Either you'll bleed out and die, or they'll resume the chopping of the head to end your suffering quicker. Both are crappy ways to go and I'd never want to die like this.'' Zivon explained.
Despite the fearsome display of the barong, our pirate expert remained unimpressed.
''You guys spend so much time talking and gloating about having hostages, while the pirates did the same thing they preferred to be direct and painless to get the job done.'' Somali Pirate expert Abdul commented.
To counter the deadly barong, the Somali Pirates cut back with a traditional blade of the Somali people.
''The Jile, also known as a Qolxad, is a type of dagger with a long curved blade found in Djibouti, Ethiopia, Somalia, and Eritrea. Unique to the Horn of Africa, it is the most famous and characteristic of Afar and Somali daggers. It is closely related to the Yemeni janbiya, which it highly resembles. It had a curved double-edged blade that measures about 15 inches long and with a 9 inch blade and weighed a pound.'' explained the expert.
''Looks incredibly similar to the Jambiya, we're gonna have a different test for you and your blade so instead of using it as an execution weapon we're gonna have two torsos set up in a way to simulate the closed confines of a ship. One torso will come charging at you from one side. Take it out but we want to see the how you'll react when the second torso approaches from the other side. Once both torsos have been dealt with the test is over.'' DAM explained, pointing toward the torsos for the expert to see.
Nodding. Abdul gets into position and waits for the countdown.
''Alrighty then, high speed's ready on 3...2...1...attack!" DAM shouted out.
The first torso comes wheeling it's way toward the expert who lunges forward and brings the jile down onto the top of the target's head cutting into it. He frees his blade and swings several times at the neck before turning to see the second target already making it's way toward him and he wastes no time in putting it down with a swing to the temple before slicing once in the neck.
''Done!" he shouted.
The panel then walks over to assess the damage.
Zivon puts his gloves on and approaches the first target.
''With this guy, you brought that blade down and actually managed to cut into his skull for a near instant kill, you actually got a bit into the frontal lobe of the brain and pulling the weapon out causes even more damage, so this guy is taking a quick trip to the morgue.''
The Canadian Jew then moves over to the second target.
''Not much done to the second guy here, but both blows are kills. The first one cut into the temple and yet again, you're hitting the brain causing death and the neck wounds, well that's self-explanatory, he bleeds out with his major veins and arteries severed.'' concluded the good doctor.
''So what do you guys think?'' Demigod asked.
''I think it's a very effective weapon but if we were taking this on a ship, considering out tight and cramped it is it's definitely gonna work with its size.'' Rice Man commented.
''I couldn't agree more.'' DAM added.
Following the testing of both blades, which one does the panel believe take the edge?
''While we did see the jile in an impressive display and that it can kill, I gotta go with the barong on this one simply for bigger blade.'' DAM started off.
''Wrong you moron, I give it to the jile, the barong's main use for Abu Sayyaf is an execution weapon, I doubt when they get up close with Filipino soldiers they're trained enough to overcome their opponents in hand-to-hand combat, plus if the Moros used this on close quarters on a ship the bigger size is slowing them down.'' Zivon countered.
''For me though, I gotta give the edge as even. Both did so much damage for my liking and I think neither weapon as enough distinction to gain it the edge here.'' Demigod said, more apprehensive in his edge.
The tiebreaker would fall upon Rice Man's shoulders.
''I'm giving this one all the way to the barong. When you're talking about comparing blades whether in a modern match or an ancient one, size of the blade always matters and provides an intimidation factor. Consider seeing your friend getting his head cut off from a barong, that's more scary than someone just running up to you and cutting you with the jile. Also, who knows? Maybe the Abu Sayyaf practiced the haka like their ancestors did.''
In melee weapons, the edge goes to the Abu Sayyaf for the barong.
Coming up, we review the favored pistols and rifles of these brutal militias, then later we bring out two powerhouse machine guns.
XXXXXXX
These two militias had access to two of the world's most famous pistols and assault rifles ever in modern warfare. The Somali Pirates brought with them the Tokarev TT-33 and the Abu Sayyaf fires back with the Beretta 92.
Since we've seen these pistols before, our panel will review the testing of these weapons in their previous appearances before coming to a decision.
''This one has to go to the Beretta, modern design, just as reliable and just has more bullets.'' DAM started off.
''I couldn't agree more.'' Zivon seconded.
''You just took the words out of my mouth.'' Demigod added.
Rice Man picks up the Tokarev and loads in a magazine, the man takes aim with the pistol before dropping the magazine and does the same actions with the Beretta before he made his mind up.
''Beretta 92, from my perspective it just feels better in the hand.''
In short range weapons, the edge goes to the Abu Sayyaf for the Beretta 92.
Now the panel moves on to the favored rifles of these two militias. The Somali Pirates bring in the legendary AK-47 and the Abu Sayyaf bring the all American M16.
Like before, the panel reviews the footage from past episodes before making their decision.
''I give this one as even, they got their pros and cons. The AK is known for being hella robust and reliable while the M16 packs more range.'' DAM commented.
''The AK always wins me over with it's amazing reliability, I can even take a crap, piss and throw it into the Mariana trench and it's still gonna work.'' Zivon countered.
''I go with the M16, we've seen before that it does pack slightly more accuracy with it's shots and the range is really good.'' Demigod said.
Rice Man then picks up the rifles and does the same thing he did with the pistols a few minutes ago before coming to his decision.
''M16 can be just as reliable as the AK, and the AK can be just as accurate as the M16. The major difference for me is the size of the cartridges these weapons fire. The AK needs just one or two rounds to drop a man, the M16 has better grouping. It's even all the way.''
In mid-range weapons, the edge is even.
Coming up, things are taken to the range when two powerhouse machine guns come forth and then later, two explosive weapons duel it out.
XXXXXX
When these militias became involved in gunfights, they laid waste to their opposition with two powerful machine guns capable of turning victims into mush.
''So warriors, what weapons will we bring out today?'' DAM asked.
''I bring in the RPK Light Machine Gun, it's literally just an AK-47 in LMG form. Difference is it has more weight to it at 10 pounds and fires the same 7.62 cartridges. It uses 30-round curved magazines or even 75-round drum magazine. Here I'll be using the drum mags. It's effective range is 1,000 meters and rate of fire is 600 RPM.'' explained Abdul.
''Excellent, what about you Joshua?''
''The M2 Machine Gun or Browning .50 Caliber Machine Gun is a heavy machine gun designed toward the end of World War I by John Browning. Its design is similar to Browning's earlier M1919 Browning machine gun, which was chambered for the .30-06 cartridge. The M2 uses the much larger and much more powerful .50 BMG cartridge. It's weight is 84 lbs, has a maximum firing range of 7,400 meters and a rate of fire at 600 RPM.'' explained Joshua.
''Perfect, to test these two weapons out, we've set up a platoon of enemy infantry which consists of 50 soldiers. You both will be given 100 rounds each to show the damage capabilities of these weapons understood? Joshua you and the Browning will be up first.'' DAM explained.
Joshua walks up to the weapon which just set up by Rice Man and he takes his belt of ammunition and goes to load the weapon. Once completed, he sits down behind the weapon and grabs the handles.
''I highly recommend ear-pro with this weapon, I'm not kidding.'' Rice Man said.
Doing what they were told, everyone else puts on ear protection before DAM gives the countdown.
''3...2...1...fire at will!"
Joshua presses down on the trigger system and the weapon roars to life, the loudness unlike anything the panel had ever heard. Looking downrange, the panel notices that the torsos were being torn apart by the massive .50 caliber rounds. Joshua tears through multiple targets with steady bursts causing a mist of pink downrange. He continues firing making the head of several targets literally explode, some targets getting their torsos blown open and some losing their limbs. Knowing that he didn't need The expert continues firing until he ran out of rounds. The final shots of the Browning echoing before it went silent.
''All done!" Joshua shouted.
''Goddamn.'' DAM commented.
The team then reviews the slow motion footage of the Browning and were shocked at the carnage the weapon inflicted.
''Son of a bitch, these guys were literally ripped apart from that round! I'm seeing that some of these guys's heads exploding, some even getting chunks of flesh ripped from their bodies and losing arms. There's no doubt that you've killed everyone in that platoon.'' Zivon commented.
''It goes to show the true power of the .50 cartridge, these rounds just erase you from existence.'' Rice Man added.
Now it was Abdul's turn with the RPK.
''On 3...2...1...fire!" DAM shouted.
Abdul fires his weapon and manages to plow his way through several targets dropping them with several rounds to the chest. Aiming at the first line of targets he fires left to right in controlled bursts dropping the targets one by one until he got to the second line. Continuing his fire, he drops half the second line before his weapon clicks empty prompting him to go for the reload. He takes the drum mag out before putting in a new one and continues to fire without any problems. He drops the second rank before moving onto the third, then the fourth and his weapon clicks empty just before he could drop the rest of the fourth rank.
Like with the Browning, the team goes on to review the camera footage of the carnage to gauge the damage done.
''Similar to the Browning, your rounds are known for their damage and while not as powerful as the .50, you're still blowing gaping holes in some of these targets' heads and some have had their arms shot off when you hit their joints. Minus the targets you didn't get to anyone taking a 7.62 to their body, chest especially is down and out. Good work.'' Zivon commented.
''I have more bullets and was able to get the job done.'' Joshua said.
''But you're using the heavier weapon in this so I can move around better.'' Abdul replied.
After testing both weapons, which one do our panelists believe takes the edge?
''I am easily going with the more powerful Browning on this one, just one round hitting you square in the chest is gonna hurt and give you a bad day, there's no getting away from that monster gun.'' DAM started off.
''I disagree and give this to the RPK. Sure the M2 has the powerful .50 but it weighs over 84 pounds which is sure to tire out the Abu Sayyaf if they wanted to be mobile. The RPK may have lesser rounds and the smaller cartridge in this comparison but it still doesn't tire you out if you move around with it.'' Zivon countered.
''Comparing a heavy and light machine is kind of silly, but also very interesting. They both are very strong guns but I am going with Zivon on this one with the same reasons he provided.'' Demigod commented.
''Same here, to properly move around with the M2, you'd have to disassemble it which means you're wasting time doing that and dead before you could move with it. The RPK is much lighter and the more practical weapon especially with militias like these guys.'' Rice Man concluded.
In long range weapons, the edge goes to the Somali Pirates with the RPK Light Machine Gun.
Coming up, two popular explosive weapons go head-to-head and then later, two vicious militias who fight for a similar purpose battle it out!
XXXXXX
The time has now come for both forces to unveil their explosive arsenal. For the Abu Sayyaf, they utilized the M224 Lightweight Mortar.
''The M224 60mm Lightweight Mortar is a smooth bore, muzzle-loading, high-angle-of-fire weapon used for close in support for ground troops. Developed by the United States, it is a common weapon within the Filipino armed forces and no doubt Abu Sayyaf got their hands on them. It has an RPM of 20 and fires 60 mm shells, the weight is 47 pounds and it's effective range is 3,490 meters.'' explained Joshua.
''We've seen an improvised mortar on this show before, but not a professionally made one so this should be good.'' DAM started, ''We'll have Rice Man accompany you in using this weapon and we've set up five boats out in the lake to simulate an armada of Somali Pirates. You are to simply take them all out and you will be timed.''
''You got it.'' Joshua set as he and Rice Man walk over to get the mortar ready.
''I'll find our range and call the shots.'' Rice Man said looking through a pair of binoculars. He looks at the first boat and estimates it's range. ''That's about 50 yards, go ahead and adjust.''
Joshua adjusts the mortar to the appropriate range and takes a round and loads it in, the mortar fires off the round and a few seconds later the boat explodes confirming a hit. Rice Man then estimates the range of the second boat and instructs Joshua accordingly before the expert drops in another round and it fires and the boat is destroyed.
''They're getting through this pretty smoothly.'' Demigod commented.
Rice Man and Joshua repeat the process before finally setting their sights on the final boat which was further out in the lake and after taking a few minutes to estimate the range the pair for a shot but miss. The mortar round harmlessly splashing into the water a few meters away from the boat.
''Adjust the angle, let's make sure we hit it on this one.'' Rice Man said.
Joshua does what he is told and the pair take a moment to find their range, when they felt comfortable with their placement they fire off another round and this time the boat was hit causing an explosion.
''Now that's how it's done.'' Joshua commented.
The team then review the slow motion footage of the weapon in action.
''Mortars are very simple weapons to use and if you know what you're doing, it can be a very deadly weapon system.'' Rice Man commented.
''So doc, any of those guys surviving?'' DAM questioned.
''Nah, either the explosion is gonna kill you or the shrapnel will, don't forget that if you lose a limb from the explosion you're not gonna be able to clot so you're just fucked if you survive and left floating in the water.'' Zivon explained.
''That'll definitely attract sharks too.'' Demigod added.
''Think about it too, the Abu Sayyaf fight in a jungle environment and considering how dense it is there's very little room for escape.'' said Joshua.
The team now review the testing of the RPG-7 from ''ISIS vs. Taliban'' before they come to their decision.
''I'm going with the RPG on this one, you're more mobile and the thought of getting ambushed by it from multiple direction is really frightening.'' DAM started off.
''I would agree too, the RPG also needs just one guy to use it, the mortar needs multiple people so if one guy with an RPG spots a mortar team, he can just aim and boom.'' Zivon seconded.
''I'd go with the RPG, it just seems to have a bigger boom for me.'' Demigod commented.
''I can see both weapons performing well in a squad fight, but I'd prefer the RPG since like what you said Zivon, need only one man to use it compared to a mortar. The mortar is effective against infantry and lightly armored targets, but the RPG was made to destroy armor and penetrate. DAM mentioning a multi directional ambush with a squad of RPGs is frightening as well.'' Rice Man concluded.
In explosive weapons, the edge goes the Somali Pirates for the RPG-7.
Coming up, we look at the x-factors of our warriors and then finally, the battle between two vicious militias begins! Somali Pirates? Or Abu Sayyaf? Which group will be victorious?
XXXXXX
Welcome back to the fight club, here we tested the arsenal of two real world militias to determine who is deadliest.
For melee weapons, the barong proved more deadly than the jile.
''It has a larger blade meaning the Abu Sayyaf won't have to get too close to slice the Somali pirates up.'' DAM explained.
Edge: Abu Sayyaf
For short range weapons, the Beretta 92 was found to be too much for the Tokarev TT-33 to handle.
''More modern, more bullets, just overall better the Beretta takes it easily.'' Zivon explained.
Edge: Abu Sayyaf
For mid-range weapons, both the M16 and AK-47 were both determined to be equals.
''Both can be just as accurate and reliable as the opposing weapon, it all comes down to how to care for it and how you use it.'' Demigod explained.
Edge: Even
For long range weapons, the RPK proved more practical than the M2 Browning.
''Lighter weight and doesn't tire the user out, the RPK wins in this comparison.'' Rice Man explained.
Edge: Somali Pirates
And finally, for explosives the RPG-7 proved more powerful than the M224 mortar.
''Superior mobility and potential for multi-directional ambush plays in the RPG's favor and needs only one man to use.'' DAM explained.
Edge: Somali Pirates
Now our resident metalhead Metal Harbinger will evaluate the x-factors of our warriors.
''Let's spread the sickness.'' he said.
''For training, I decided to give it to the Somali pirates, why? Some of the pirates fought in the civil war and were militiamen, some knew how to use their weapons well, hell, some may have been former soldiers too. Being a militiaman means the pirates had some degree of training, even being self-taught helps a lot here. 78 to a 69 respectively.''
''Extremism went to the Abu Sayyaf, they are Islamic militants who carry out beheadings and are known for being ruthless and uncompromising. Foreigners are a big target with them too and are known to brutally execute their hostages and filming it. 85 to an 83.''
''Logistics was a dead tie and here's the reason, the Somali Pirates have access to the black market while the Abu Sayyaf take from the Filipino military and make their own bombs. 85 for both sides.''
''Weapon quality was also even, the Somalis have a robust arsenal and their RPK uses the same rounds as the AK while the Abu Sayyaf have an accurate arsenal and more powerful machine guns. 86 each.''
''Taking in brutality, this had to go to the Abu Sayyaf, the executions they do are brutal in their own right, but they practice child sexual assault and commit public bombings regularly, something the Somali pirates have never done before. 95 to an 80.''
''Lastly, we've got motivation and both sides are rated a 100 each, the Somalis are fighting for their waters while the Abu Sayyaf fight for an independent province.''
The team has now finished their tests and we will now run the battle one-thousand times in a battle to the death. Metal Harbinger will pit 5 Somali Pirates against 5 Abu Sayyaf militants.
''In the end, only one will stand, let's run it.'' Metal said hitting the button.
XXXXXX
The battle takes place in the southern portion of the Philippine archipelago, more specifically Basilan island's coast. On a rocky cliff overlooking a beach a group of Abu Sayyaf militants were seen manning a mortar.
Rumors had it that the Filipino army were planning to mount an assault on the island to eradicate the Moros. Determined not to let the soldiers stopping their cause they had prepared a surprise for the government soldiers.
Abu Sayyaf: 5
Off shore, a single boat was making its way toward the beach and on board were a group of Somali Pirates who had been hired by the government of the Philippines to help in destroying the Abu Sayyaf in exchange for support for their economy.
Somali Pirates: 5
The pirates make their way toward the shore and jump off the boat onto the soft sand of the beach and they look around while one man waits in the boat for a quick getaway. Unknown to them, the Abu Sayyaf had taken notice of them and already had already sent a mortar down their way,
In a split-second, the boat explodes and the pirate that was in the boat was killed in the ensuing blast. The explosion catching the other pirates by surprise.
Abu Sayyaf: 5 - Somali Pirates: 4
Having been knocked back from the blast, the Somalis recover and look up the hill to see their Filipino opponents now opening fire on them. The pirate leader orders his men to fire back and manage to drop one Filipino with a burst from an AK-47, the man falling backward with holes in his chest.
Abu Sayyaf: 4 - Somali Pirates: 4
One of the Filipinos gets their M2 up and firing and aiming at the Somalis he begins shooting at them and knowing that the M2 is capable of killing them all, the pirates make their way to cover behind some rocks but one of the Somalis was unlucky and takes a .50 caliber round to the head causing it to explode sending brain matters and skull onto the sand.
Abu Sayyaf: 4 - Somali Pirates: 3
Further annoyed, the pirate leader hands an RPG to one of his comrades and points in the direction of the cliff where the Filipinos were. The Somalis patiently wait for the reload and when the M2 stopped firing that was their cue.
Taking the RPG he peeks behind the rock and aims the weapon at the Moros and seeing this, the leader of the Abu Sayyaf shouts for his men to make a break for it just as the launcher sends its warhead toward them.
The warhead impacts the bottom portion of the cliff causing it to collapse and one Abu Sayyaf militant was unlucky as he falls due to the cliff collapsing below him falls onto the sandy shore but is quickly gunned down when a Somali with an RPK fires a burst in his direction, killing before he had a chance to get back on his feet.
Abu Sayyaf: 3 - Somali Pirates: 3
Knowing that they have the Moros on the run, the Somalis rally and give chase into the jungle after their opponents. Elsewhere in the jungle, one of the Abu Sayyaf militants were seen lying in wait for their Somali friends and hearing footsteps in the distance knew that they would give chase so he decided to lay in wait in the jungle brush with their guns in hand.
A Somali pirate comes in sight out of the brush and one of the Abu Sayyaf armed with an M16 aims and fires his rifle dropping the Somali with burst hitting him straight in the face.
Abu Sayyaf: 3 - Somali Pirates: 2
The rest of the Somalis emerge from the brush and open fire with their AKs killing the Abu Sayyaf militant with multiple gunshots.
Abu Sayyaf: 2 - Somali Pirates: 2
With that problem out of the way, the Somalis then make their way through the jungle and soon they come across a small abandoned village. The two pirates decide that it would be best to split up and search the village for the last Moros and they both head off in different directions.
A Somali makes his way into a hut with his AK ready for the kill and hears footsteps behind him, turning around he spots the Abu Sayyaf leader rushing toward him and before he can bring his rifle up to shoot, he is tackled into the ground causing him to drop his weapon and he sees the Filipino bringing his barong down. He manages to swat the blade away and kick the Moro off of him and quickly crawls toward his AK.
When he picks the weapon up he turns around to fire but several shots ring out and he is killed with several pistol rounds to the chest.
The Moro had taken his Beretta out in time and spits on the corpse before making his way elsewhere.
Abu Sayyaf: 2 - Somali Pirates: 1
In another part of the village, the last pirate makes his way into a small mosque after hearing someone moving into it and knew that it had to be one of the Filipinos.
The Moro he had heard pops his head out of cover and points his M16 and fires toward the Somali who ducks in cover just in time. The Moro militants growls in anger when his rifle jams and tries to fix this.
Hearing the commotion, the Somali pops up from behind cover and quickly rushes toward with his TT-33 in hand and empties the magazine into his chest killing him.
Abu Sayyaf: 1 - Somali Pirates: 1
Smirking at the corpse, he makes his way out of the village only to be greeted by gunfire from the last Moro who was waiting for him. The pistol is shot out of his hands forcing him to quickly hide for cover. The Moro militant keeps firing until his gun clicks empty forcing him to draw his barong, with his blade in hand he makes his way toward where the Somali is hiding only for his opponent to lunge out with his jile in hand and is tackled to the ground.
The Somali has the advantage and mounts the Moro to try and bring his jile down onto his face but the Moro catches him by the wrists and goes to wrestle the dagger away.
Neither men were able to gain the upperhand and the Moro responds by pushing the Somali off of him. Getting up on his feet, he goes to bring the barong down onto the Somali but the African militant rolls out of the way and swings his dagger cutting the Moro on his forearm.
Grunting in pain, he backhands the Somali in response and thrusts his barong. His hopes weren't fulfilled when the Somali catches him by the wrist allowing him to go for his own thrust.
With a fast reaction however, the Moro militant shoots his head forward and headbutts the Somali square in the face knocking him backward and causing him to drop his weapon. Taking his opportunity, the Moro swings his barong and severs the Somali's hand at the wrist.
The sudden pain caught the attention of the Somali and when he brings his hand up he screams in shock seeing his bleeding stump and paid no attention to the Moro who had now thrusted his barong into his gut causing him to cough up blood.
The Somali was now left helpless as the Moro quickly brings his blade and slices the Somali's neck sending blood spraying everywhere.

Following a close battle between two brutal militias, it would be the Abu Sayyaf who achieved victory with a close 52.2% to the Somali Pirates 47.8%. It was largely in part to their day to day battle experience with the Filipino military that allowed them to win in the end. Though the pirates weren't far behind as they had comparable weapons all around giving them the chance to remain close behind.
''The Somali pirates are known to highjack ships, that's it. The Abu Sayyaf on the other hand are known to kill their victims. I guess the pirates weren't ready to face an Islamic extremist group that fights every day.'' DAM commented.
''I had a feeling it was gonna be close and I don't disagree with the outcome, if you're just going to take hostages and attack helpless ships that don't fight back, you're gonna have trouble against someone who can fight back hard.'' Zivon seconded.
''I'm not disappointed, the Abu Sayyaf makes sense to win this fight as they are actually engaging a military force.'' Demigod said.
''An actual organized militia who kills daily and fights a professional military every day? Or the angry fishermen who only highjack merchant ships? It makes so much sense, the Abu Sayyaf can hold their own against their government while the Somalis die instantly if they attack a naval vessel. Chalk this one up to the Abu Sayyaf.'' Rice Man concluded.
(The surviving Moro militant is seen sitting down at the mosque of the abandoned village praying to Allah. He hopes that his god can give him and his group the strength to achieve their agenda of an independent province and anyone who dares to help the government will pay the price as his Somali opponents did. ''Allahu Akbar!")
