Aether POV:

me, Paimon, and Dean were walking through Mondstadt. "You just came to the city today right? We need to make sure your gear is up to date. Why don't we stop by Wagner's? He's the best blacksmith in Mondstadt." explained Dean. I nodded.

Paimon frowns. "But aren't you new to Mondstadt? How could you know that?" I love it when Paimon asks the tough (mostly blunt) questions. Nobody can get mad cause she is just so cute and little. I hummed in thought. "She got a point. And the knights sorta seem.." Dean groaned "Suspicious of me? You mean Kaeya?" I nodded.

Dean shakes his head. "I don't know what it is but not all of them are like that. I have known a few since I came here. Especially when I do my commissions for the Guild. I never leave the city. And I didn't know Mondstadt so well in the beginning but the knights always came to help me."

Kaeya has been spying on me though. It's nothing so serious but I wish he'd ask me what's on his mind already. I'm not here to hurt anyone. And I'm not even staying in Mondstadt, I'm planning on leaving soon." Now this surprises me.

"What? You're already planning on leaving? Then Paimon don't know what's the big deal is?" Dean blushed. "I mean, I haven't told anyone yet. I'm sorry, since you guys are in the same boat as me you're just easier to talk to." Hmm, but I could guess why.

"Maybe they're spying on you because you're so powerful. You did help drive away Stormterror." Dean shoots me a look of surprise. "I'm not that powerful. But I guess that does make me look incriminating. I'm actually…I'm new to adventuring." I thought so. With the level of power he displayed, he should already be well known. But the knights don't know anything about him and that's why they're nervous. I wonder…

"Where are you from? Maybe the knights are worried because you should be well-known already." Dean snorted. "Back at you." Touche Dean. He looked worried though and glanced around. "Well, no one seems to be following us. I might as well tell you." Dean paused and seemed to be weighing his options. Honestly, he looks scared. I frown.

"Would. Would you believe me if I said I was from another world?" I immediately became guarded. And Paimon shot me a surprised look. Is he messing with me? My feelings most had shown on my face because Dean's face dropped. "Um, never mind. Just forget I said anything."

Wait this might be the sort of clue I'm looking for. "I'm sorry. I was just taken aback. What made you want to tell us something so important." Dean stares at me. I'm starting to feel like he could see right through me. Interesting. Dean took a deep breath and looked at me more confidently.

"Well for starters I know you're not from this world either." Now I was stunned. "Well, what made you say that?" I asked carefully. "I saw you use Anemo even though you don't have an Anemo vision. That's practically unheard of in this world." I jumped at this.

"Good point. Which it's why I'm having a hard time believing you're from a different world. You have vision don't you." Dean blinked like he just realized that yes, he does have a vision. "Damn. I keep forgetting that." Huh. He was right? Paimon nodded. "That's right. Paimon was just about to say that. So you have to be confused." A multitude of emotions flashed across Dean's eyes. Curse my bleeding heart.

"Is what I would say if I didn't believe you." Paimon and Dean whipped their heads at me.

"What?"

"What!?"

"But you just said-"

I cleared my voice. "You were right Dean. I'm not from this world. Neither is my Sister. We got separated when we tried to leave this world. By a goddess with white hair." Dean nodded in thought. "By the heavenly principles.." My eyes widen. "Those words sounded familiar."

"Did you see her too?" Dean shakes his head. "I don't remember. I don't even remember how I got here. But I have heard of her before. I heard of teyvet before too. In my world, there are stories about Teyvat. I didn't believe this place was real till I woke up here. If I did meet her it would explain why my memories are gone."

His memories were gone too? "So what do you know?" Dean sighs. "I know there may be a way to get my memory back. It also might help you find your sister." I perked up."I'm listening." Dean nods. "There is this place called Sumeru. The god there has a way of keeping track of everything that goes on in Teyvat. It could provide us a major clue on what happened to me just moments before coming and help us find your sister." I find myself grinning.

"Should have led with that. But if knew where to go, why wasn't that the first place you went?" There was a moment of self-loathing that passed so quickly, that I would have thought I imagined it. "It's because you're new to all of this. Where you're from… you're not an adventurer are you?" Dean shakes his head.

"No. I'm just a regular high school student. I have rarely ever gone camping before this." Damn him and his gut feeling. And then I felt a surge of anger. What evil deity would just drop a kid here? What sort of twisted joke were they pulling on Dean? Then I felt a sense of guilt. I remember how frightened he was when Stormterror knocked him out of the sky. I just thought he was scared of heights. But he is really not used to any of this.

Dean gives me a look like he wants to say something. Of course, I could guess what it is. Given what he told me and the fact that he a novice. I could only assume he needs someone with experience to get where he needs to go. I'm a perfect candidate since I'm from this world too. But do I want to travel with him? I don't need to babysit someone like him and try to find Lumine. I could already feel I had my hands full with Paimon.

"I just wanted to let you know what I knew. You seem really concerned about your sister. I didn't want to keep what I knew to myself. I promise to share anything I find out." What? My eyes widen. Wasn't he going to ask to come with me? Escort him to this Sumeru? Use his adventuring experience? Blackmail him even? I wouldn't even blame him. That's what I would do if I was in his situation. Heck, he doesn't owe me anything.

I must have been quiet for too long because Dean shifted uncomfortably. "That's all. I'm sorry I can't help out with more. My knowledge of this world is limited and I'm pretty much a rookie. But still, I know a little bit more than you. So why not share what I have? Ya know. Us otherworlders got to still together." Dean said with a grin. Ah hell. I can't leave him here.

I grinned back at him. "Thanks, Dean. I really appreciate it." Dean nodded and started walking ahead. Paimon gives me a look. Damn it Paimon. Don't make me feel worse. "How about I teach you some pointers? You're new to this right? I'll feel bad if I don't pay you back for the info." Dean stops and turns to me. "You're going give me pointers? With that rusty sword, you have? I think you're the one that needs help. We may not be from this world but I still know more than you. Which is why we should get you an updated sword. Pronto."

That little shit. I suddenly have the urge to show him up. I've been doing this a longer than him. "Fine. I'm going to show you what I can do. Then we'll see who needs who." I confidently stroll forward ahead of him. Honestly, the nerve of that guy." Dean shakes his head. "Do you know where you're going?" I paused mid-step.

"Right… Well, what are you waiting for smart guy? Lead the way." Dean muttered something under his breath and rolled his eyes. "Just follow me."

As we passed through Mondstadt, we were greeted by a lot of Mondstadt's citizens. Most of them were happy to see Dean.

"Hey Dean, Grandpa says to stop by for dinner sometime."

"Hey Dean, can we make flower crowns again."

"Hey Dean, Please take these as thanks for yesterday's help."

"Hey Dean, come play with us today!"

Paimon whispers in my ear. "Whoa. Someone sure is popular around here. And here Paimon thought everyone would be as wary as the Knights of Favonius." Paimon has a point. But seems Dean won over a lot of people so quickly. It truly speaks of his character. And he flush so easily too. Could it be he not used to attention? I smirked. Well, he definitely going to make for a perfect target for my teasing. I'll make sure to put him in his place later.

"Hey Wagner, I brought a customer." A middle-aged man stops what he doing. "Is that Dean? What are you doing here? I thought you don't use swords?" Dean shakes his head and gestures to me. "This is Aether, he was the one to defend the city from Stormterror today. Only he needs a new sword." I brought out the one I had. Wagner cursed. "That thing is on the verge of breaking. Toss that thing here. You're in luck, I've recently been working on a sword that's the greatest I ever worked on. I have a feeling you'll need something of this caliber if you're going be facing Stormterror again."

Wagner brings out a sword covered in a simple cloth. He reveals the nicest sword I have ever seen since I came to this world. However, Dean's face went kinda pale. "The Sword of Descension" Wagner gives him a look of surprise. "How do you know that? It's weird. I had the strangest dream on how to make this sword but for some reason, I can't seem to recreate it." I whistle.

"Then this sword must cost a fortune." Wagner nodded. "I'll say. Just about 500,000 Mora." My eyes widened and Paimon did a spit take. "FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND MORA?! PAIMON COULD BUY FIVE HUNDRED SLIME CAKES AND STILL HAVE ENOUGH LEFT OVER!"

"Yeah, what she said. Do you have anything else?" Dean shakes his head. "It's fine. Consider it a thank you gift." Both me and Paimon looked at him in shock. Wagner also looked shocked. "Are you sure Dean?" Dean laughed nervously. "I sort of inherited my family's fortune. Please don't tell anyone, Wagner. I don't want anyone to treat me differently. I did come here to be an adventurer." Dean shoots me a subtle look. I can take a hint Dean. Wagner nods in understanding. "I'll make some quick upgrades, on the house. Stay right here."

"So, family fortune huh?" Dean shift under our gaze. "Shut up. I found it on me when I came here. It was so much mora that I couldn't sleep my first night here. It's so much that honestly you're doing me a favor by letting me get that sword. It's actually over 500,000 Mora." Paimon nodded. "So you're flat broke now? Paimon feels kind of bad." Damn it me too.

Dean laughed nervously. "It's uh. It's over 500,000,000." I blinked. Paimon blinked. "That's weird cause Paimon could have sworn Paimon heard you say over 500,000,000. But that would be crazy." Dean nodded. "You heard right Paimon. But please don't go around telling people. I don't want to worry about getting robbed. I can't believe I'm walking around with so much.."

Paimon slaps herself. "WHAT? YOU'RE FILTHY RI-" I quickly shh Paimon with my hand. "Shh Paimon. Not so loud." Dean nodded feverously. Paimon shakes her head and smiles at Dean. "Did Paimon ever tell you you're Paimon's favorite person? Best friend even." Dean's mouth twitch upwards. "Oh? But we just met." Paimon laughs. "Details, details. Since we're best friends, Paimon would like a castle please- no cake- no a castle made out of cake!" Dean shakes his head and laughs. "How about I'll treat you to Good Hunter? It's the best restaurant in Mondstadt." Paimon does a happy dance. "Deal! Paimon can't wait!"

I give her a fond smile. She going to be a handful, isn't she? (Oh Aether you have no idea)

"Thanks for waiting. Why don't you give it a test run." I nodded, admiring the sword. It feels like it's not from this world. "Why don't we test it out on some slimes? I think I know where they frequent. It's not far from Mondstadt." I shook my head. "No. We wasted enough time as it is. I think we should make our way to one of the temples. Do you know where one is?" Dean nodded. "There is one not too far from the city. It's near a Teleport Waypoint."

"Teleport Waypoint? You know what they are?" I sent Paimon a shocked look. Dean nodded. "I do have some information on this place, remember?" Now I'm intrigued. "Can you use them?" If so that makes him a useful individual to have around. To team up with. Dean closed his eyes for a few seconds and then gave me a weird look. "I can but remind me to ask you something later." Hmm. I wonder what's that about.

Dean grabbed my arm and I felt a surge of energy. Holy S-

Our surroundings suddenly change. Dean teleported us outside the city. "Whoa. That was weird. And a lot more pleasant than I thought. I think I used the energy from the leylines. Otherwise, that would have totally knocked me out." I agree. "What did you want to ask me?"

"Did you reactivate the waypoint? I stumble upon it but I couldn't get it to work just now." Huh. I wonder why he couldn't do it. I nodded, curious. "Hm. It could be a power only special to you. Just like using elemental energies without a Vision. Let's unlock any waypoints we find for now." I was going to do that anyway. But it's nice to know we're on the same wavelength.

"Come on. The temple is this way."

And soon enough. A certain Outrider was waiting for us at the entrance. How the hell did Amber get here before us? Amber spotted us and came over. "Took you long enough. I was beginning to worry you won't show." Dean and I exchange a confused glance. "Um, How did you know we were going to be here?" Amber blinked. "Didn't we tell you where we were going?" Me and Dean exchanged glances again. "Uhhh, no." Amber blushed.

"Oh. Well, there is a chance there could be a herd of monsters inside. Even Stormterror has given up on his own temple." What? This rundown place is Stormterror's temple. "Wait you mean to tell me.." Dean nodded. "Stormterror is one of the four winds or at least he was." Amber nodded sadly. "Ehhhh!" Not now Paimon.

Both Dean and Amber stood at attention. "Wait! Do you feel that?" Dean nodded. "The wind..it suddenly changes. I don't like this. We should go in and take a look for now." Well, that didn't sound ominous at all.

Dean POV:

I don't like this. Stormterror's old temple is sending alarming bets in my head. It's been so long since I played this quest, and I don't even remember what happened. Amber and Aether are strong. We just got to stay alert, and we'll get through this.

Amber pointed to Aether. "You can use that console to open the door." I watched curiously. Don't you just press the square button? You can't be serious. Also ARE WE IN ANOTHER FREAKING DIMENSION? WHY IS NO ONE ELSE QUESTIONING THIS? I mean Aether not even from this world. He could at least say something.

Aether saw my expression and smirked. "What? Never been in pocket dimension before? Just stay close to the professionals. We don't want you to get lost." Asshole. You know I haven't. Why did Aether have to be such a smartass? I flipped him off and stayed close to Amber. It must have been a lot for her too because her face broke out into astonishment. "Wow, you can see so far into the temple. Hey Dean, Let's clear these roots." Pyro energy lit Amber's Arrow while my fist also lit with Pyro energy.

Pyro Dragon's Brillant Flame!

Our combined Pyro attacks burn all the roots in our way to ashes.

"Let's keep moving." As we went further along, we stumbled upon a single Hilichurl. I grimed knowing the real truth behind this creature. Aether must have read my face because he volunteered to take it out. "I'll take care of it." Amber nodded and readied her bow. "I'll support you. Dean stay close." Aether jumped down like a veteran and rushed at his opponent. He knocked out his shield with a powerful Palm Vortex and Swipe him with his sword three times.

Hilichurl fades into a black mist. Huh, so they die just like in the game? Humans don't die the same way right? I have to save this information for later. Two shadow-like figures step from the shadows. Paimon gasped. "Traveler look out." Amber jumped. "I got this! Explosive Puppet "Baron Bunny." Amber tossed her puppet at the Hilichurls and it exploded on impact. Turning them to ash.

"Whoa. How can such a cute thing be so scary!?" Paimon shivered. Because Amber is scary. I don't want to imagine how she came up with something twisted like that. We quickly continued onwards and met with even more monsters. This time I'll help out. I quickly charged the Pyro energy into my mouth.

Pyro Dragon's Roar!

A wave of flames met with the explosive barrels and triggered a huge explosion. The Hilichurls were instantly killed. "Whoa. You took them down in no time flat. Paimon pegged you for a beginner with how nervous you seemed earlier." Amber shook her head. "Dean told me himself he's pretty strong. He had no trouble on the road here to Mondstadt." Paimon and Aether, both give me a look. "He did, did he?" Way to be subtle guys.

I coughed. "Let's keep moving." Only we couldn't. The temple was too high up in the distance. "How are we going get across?" asked Paimon. She looks around and spots something with the Pyro symbol on it. "Isn't this… a Pyro Monument? If we hit it with a powerful Pyro attack, we might trigger it." Oh, now I remember.

Pyro Dragon's Iron Fist!

The monument glowed and a powerful gust of wind appeared. "Quick! Use your gliders." Amber instructed. I activated my glider, and the wind was so powerful it lifted us in the air. We glided till we reached the other side of the bridge.

A glowing green? Rock was there waiting for us. Aether smashed it to pieces. "Dragon's breath! Was that where the power was coming from? Great job everyone." What the hell is a Dragon's breath? Honestly. I'm just glad this was over.

Amber yawned. "Phew. I'm tired. But at least this way we helped Jean out. In the past, we were at least able to keep the city safe and defend. That's mostly thanks to Jean. But now that Stormterror is directly attacking the city itself… "The winds changed, and so too should our tactics"." Uhhh. Why is Amber pulling a Venti right now?

Aether nodded with a straight face. "Sounds Poetic." Heh. I can tell he trying to be polite but wondering where the hell she is coming from too. Amber smiled. "It's what Lisa likes to say." Oh, that makes sense. Amber straightened and went into what I like to call "Teacher mode"

"Speaking of which, the four winds we were discussing earlier. If you want to learn more about our history you can ask Lisa." Lisa might cover anything I don't see in my archives. I wonder what books they have in this world. Wait, do I need a library card? Note to self, ask if knights have library cards.

"I'm not saying I don't know our history!" Amber. You kind of are. "It just.." I might as well throw her a bone. "It would be more helpful to learn from a professional and Lisa also a librarian. Amber is just an outrider who is good at being an outrider. Very two different things." Amber nodded feverously. "Right, right. You get it Dean. I am just an Outrider. The best actually."

I chuckled. "Come on. Let's get out of here. Amber, you should report to Jean right away." I'm beat. I wonder what happens next? I should sneak and take a look in the archives. It's not like I can't do it in front of the others but I rather them not look at me like I'm crazy."

We took a break and set up camp in Windrise. Amber wanted to make us her special steak, but I nipped that in the bud. Sorry Amber but I'm not trying to die. With some help from Aether, I made us some Chicken-Mushroom Skewers. This was my first time seeing Paimon so happy. It was cute. Amber excused herself so she could talk to Jean but not before pointing us to the next Temple.

I guess we're speed-running this Playthrough.

….I have to stop with the game analogies. I don't want to start speaking like Shigaraki.

As we made our way to the next temple, waiting for us was the pain in the ass himself, Kaeya. "You arrived. Oh, and you're here too Dean." I rolled my eyes. "And here I thought the eye patch was covering one eye." Kaeya ignores me and speaks to Aether and Paimon. Bitch. "Come closer. Can you smell that?" Aether looked at me confused and answered honestly. "It's the smell of burned Pyro Slimes?"

"Something must have happened in the temple." Kaeya continued. "I imagine there will be slimes, hilichurls, and whatever is giving Stormterror extra power." I rolled my eyes. "So it's going be like the last temple. Can we get this over with? We don't have time to be waiting around."

Kaeya smiled at me. "My, my, my, you seem to be in a hurry. I wonder what for?" Aether gave him a weird look. "Maybe to save Mondstadt." Kaeya deadpanned. "Right.." He turns to head into the temple. Aether gives me a wink and a thumbs-up. I couldn't help but smile.

As soon as we entered the temple Kaeya turned to us. "Let me show you how the Knights of Favonius conquer our adversaries." Kaeya then proceeds to lead the charge. I'm pretty sure Amber showed us but whatever. I'm not arguing if he wants to clear our enemies himself. "Show us what you got Calvery Captain." Kaeya nods.

"Hm, the end of the temple should be up there." Kaeya looks at the group of hilichurls blocking our way. They're standing guard by a door and surrounded by a tiny pool of water. "This should be fun." Cyro energy exits Kaeya's hand. Kaeya jumps down and aims his hand at the wet ground. Everything in the room freezes instantly. "Whoa. Everyone is frozen!" Shouted Paimon.

No kidding. Kaeya must be pretty powerful to be a Calvary captain but seeing it in person is different. Maybe I shouldn't get on his bad side. "Let's go." Commended Aether. "Right." Me and Aether jumped down to join him. I charged up Pyro energy while Aether got his elemental burst ready.

Pyro Dragon's Roar!

A tornado inferno wiped out the frozen hilichurls.

Kaeya glances at Aether. "Traveler… If I'm not mistaken, I don't believe I have seen a vision on you. So how exactly are you able to charge elemental energy?" I know how. Paimon takes over and explains the situation to Kaeya.

I know he doing his job but can he at least lay off us? Afterward, we continued until a trapped stopped our path. Flames were coming out of a device. "How do we shut this off?" I asked. Kaeya steps forward. "I got this one." And freezes the core of the device. The flames shut off. Okay so maybe he is useful. I'll lay off him. We took care of the hydro slimes that appeared and Kaeya got rid of any traps in our way.

We made our way to a dead end and used the wind currents to reach the top. A large Pyro Slime was in our way. Kaeya rushed the enemy. He slashed the Hydro amber next to it and rain seemed to appear. Using this chance. Kaeya freezes the Pyro Slime and shatters it with a few swipes of his sword.

Following the next room were some more traps. Traps that appeared we need Kaeya to disable. Something telling me his being with us was not a coincidence. It seems like they plan this. Lisa, Jean, or even Kaeya. What a scary group of people. I feel bad for the enemies of The Knights of Favonius. We finally reached another dragon's breath and destroyed it.

Two temples down and one more to go. "Bravo. Good work everyone. You're well trained Traveler. Dean, you seem to lack experience but your power more than makes up for it. I would recommend some more training. But you perform well all the same. You two especially seem to work well together too. I was amazed every time you fought." Aether shakes his head.

"I didn't all that much. We should really be thanking you." I nodded. "I agree. We would have been stuck if it wasn't for you. Thank you, Kaeya." Kaeya blinked at my earnestness and gave me a real smile. "Well, aren't you the modest bunch? Haha. I see you already have a knight's virtue of modesty. Stories of your heroic deeds to save Mondstadt from destruction shall be well known throughout the City of Freedom, well into the future." Oh my god, please down.

"Please do meet me at our headquarters when you have the time. I also know a lovely tavern if that's more your thing." Do we look old enough to drink? Actually given what Venti looks like, I shouldn't be surprised. Paimon pumped her arms. "Alright! We seized another temple from Stormterror's grasp."

Kaeya turns to us. "I can take care of the rest here. You three go take care of other things while I'm at it." We nodded. "See you later then. Bye-bye." Paimon waved.

Third Person POV:

Kaeya waved the trio goodbye and then turned his attention to the corner. He glared. "There no way hilichurls organized an ambush like this by themselves with their limited mental capacity." A Hydro Abyss Mage reveals himself. He chuckles. Kaeya turns to face him. "Thus you were behind this!" They stared each other down.

"Gohus, Chiso Vonph" The Abyss mage chanted. But before he could finish. Four beams of Pyro hits him. A mysterious man with red hair and a black suit grabs the Abyss Mage face mask and slams him to the floor. The Abyss Mage skips across the floor past Kaeya, while Kaeya watches. The red-haired man flies past Kaeya and swipes the Mage with his Favonius great sword. Launching the Mage into the air. He leaps into a triple flip and brings down his great sword. With one slice, he cleaves the Mage's staff in half and slams him into the ground again.

The red-haired man lands and gives Kaeya a cold look. "Knights of Favonius… Always so inefficient." Kaeya turns to him while mock clapping. "Agree to disagree, but your involvement in this made things a whole lot more interesting.

Dean POV:

Aether and I took the time to rest for the night. The next day I treated him and Paimon to "Good Hunter" and then we spent a good portion of the morning unlocking Waypoints. It's a good thing cause honestly who spends their entire time walking everywhere? Not I. We also defeated groups of monsters on the way. Aether gave me a few pointers and I helped him with Elemental synergy.

My elemental skill and his elemental burst have cleared a ton of mobs. I could feel my confidence growing. This world is dangerous and I need to get powerful as soon as possible. Also, I feel like I'm forgetting something important. I was so tired last night that I wasn't able to go over anything. I guess I'll do some research after the last temple. This should be the last one. I remember Jean said it was. We're supposed to meet Lisa there.

"Hey, Dean! Are you coming?" Shit, I better hurry. Aether, Paimon, and I make our way to the last Temple. Why am I so nervous? Did I forget something? "Hey Cuties. You're going to help me out too? How kind of you." Lisa smiled. I still can't tell if she mocking us or just genuinely thinks we're adorable. "Don't hesitate to come to me if you need anything."

Oh right. I do have to meet her later. I wonder just how much they have on this world so I can compare notes to what I have. Aether stares thoughtfully at Lisa. "What kind of things do a librarian do?" What… What kind of stupid question is that? Has he never gone to a world with a library before?

Lisa giggles. "Good Question." Really?! "Basically, things other than that require brawn or brains. Paimon looked confused. "So what does that leave?" No seriously, what kind of answer was that Lisa? "Never mind that, let's head into the temple. We're so close to being done I can taste it." Also, we're just going to continue to be trolled by Lisa.

The four of us head into the temple. It still confuses me why there is a sky in here. But I'm afraid to ask Lisa what the reason is. My gut is telling me to leave it alone. "There is a strong elemental energy coming deep within this temple. Let's go this way my darlings." Someone is definitely excited. That doesn't bold well for our health.

The Temple with Lisa… Okay, the Temple with Lisa was a cakewalk. I don't understand why she is not a five-star in the game. I have seen her zap groups of monsters into dust like it was nothing. Any trap we came across she outsmarted. Honestly, why were we here? Lisa is carrying this group by herself. I twitched. Was that why she was so nonchalant earlier? I knew she was scary. Seriously, why had the game downplayed how scary each of the knights was?

The Fatui should have thought twice about messing with them. Wait, the Fatui… Weren't they involved in this somehow? I have to check when we get back. After we reached the end of the temple, Lisa took a look around.

"Hm, Dragon of the east, Lion of the South, Wolf of the north, Falcon of the west. They're the four winds of Monstadt, affiliated with the Barbatos, The God of Anemo. The Dragon of the East, Stormterror's real name is Dvalin. Thought most of Mondstadt had forgotten that with all this storm terror business. So now you know why Dvalin is able to channel three of the four winds' power."

Yeah, I totally got all of that.

"Because it has been consuming itself from the beginning." Aether shakes his head. "But why?" Lisa ponders for a second. "Because of hatred, I presume." Paimon tilts her head. "Hatred?" Lisa nodded. "Hatred for Mondstadt. Hatred drove it to become something more powerful than itself. To become Stormterror."

"But Miss Lisa, Why would one of the four Winds' do that? Isn't Dvalin supposed to protect the city as one of the four Winds?" Paimon turned to Aether and mouthed "Miss Lisa." Leave me alone Paimon. I'm being polite. Lisa smiled. "Just Lisa sweetie."

Lisa frowns. "As a child of Mondstadt, it's something that's very hard to say aloud." Lisa digs through her bag and hands us a book. "Here, take this. It's a very old story from more than a century ago. "

Of course, a librarian was giving us reading material. "I vote we let Aether read it and tell us what the book is about." Paimon grinned. "Seconded." Aether playfully shot her a look of betrayal. "Nice work Paimon. Why don't I treat us at "Good Hunter." We should kill time while Aether reads." Paimon became a bundle of energy. "Yay! Paimon wants the desert from last time!" Aether looked back and forth between us baffled. "Wait you're joking right?" I continued on like I didn't hear him. "Oh, Good idea Paimon. I hope they haven't run out." Paimon pulls my arm. "What are we waiting for? Let's go!" Aether chuckles nervously. "Umm guys? Hello?"

We raced off without him. "Hey guys come back here!" Haha. I love messing with Aether.
