Vol.2, Ch.11:

Willow: Cybermen?

The Doctor: One of the most terrifying beings in the universe. Read about them on the archives back on Gallifrey. I was hoping this wouldn't be the case.

Klein: You said that they are cyberman, so I presume they're robots like our knight androids.

The Doctor: *looks at Willow and Klein* Not even close and much worse. Those used to be people. They had all their humanity taken away. In there is a living brain jammed inside a cybernetic body, with a heart of steel. All emotions removed.

The room went in complete silence as Klein and Willow looked at each other frightened at what these steel machines are. The Doctor kept his eye on one specific Cyberman, Ashad.

The Doctor: He's different from the others. Armor all rusty, still has a normal arm, broken mask to show a bit of face. If I'm right, he's the one leading them. My question is who is that scientist next to him. *Points to Dr. Merlot*

Klein: That is Doctor James Merlot. Former Scientist within my early days in the army. He went on to become a full scientist where he was considered a madman for his experiments on Grimm.

Willow: Ring any bells, Doctor?

The Doctor: Dr. Pavel. When he became the hybrid.

Willow: He had no intentions of doing that to himself or any human. It was either trying to mutate the Grimms or add robotic functions.

The Doctor: Then he certainly was very interested in the Cybermen. *sighs*

The Doctor felt frustrated and exhausted, the Cybermen now appearing weren't any better. None of Remnant's weapons could possibly bring them down and he has never faced them before, so he doesn't have an idea how to stop them.

Willow: I imagine that with just those few Cybermen, it's already difficult to stop them.

The Doctor: It is. Even if it was only one Cyberman. One Cyberman, but then thousands. Humans like all of you changed into empty, soulless shells. No feeling, no control, no way back. There are so many monsters out there that this world cannot defend itself against but if there are TWO that is game over unless we have a miracle, it's the Daleks and the Cyberman.

Willow: The Daleks? Like your friend Dalek Khan?

The Doctor: He is a different and changed Dalek. Changed for good which I am grateful for because he saved my life on the day Gallifrey fell. *Sits down and looks at the floor* I'm the very last of my kind. The Last of the Time Lords. My home...my people...died in a war that no side won. Between the Time Lords and the Daleks, a war that raged for hundreds of years and the universe could only watch...I lost my parents...I almost died if it wasn't for the original Doctor and Dalek Khan...

Willow felt her heart drop hearing this from the Doctor while Klein looked down at the ground and closed his eyes, knowing that he'd been here before. Willow is a mother of three and she couldn't bear to see a child watch their parents die in front of him during a war. Nicholas died old, weak, but happy for the life he got. It wasn't like that for the Doctor, and it pained her.

The Doctor: Then I crashed here, Remnant. Met a few wonderful people...the first one...the one I hold close to my hearts...Weiss...she led me to meeting Team RBY, Team JNPR, I thought things were going to get better...a fresh start. *Tears up* But little by little... It went wrong. I need- *wipes tears and sobs*

Willow's motherly role kicked in and gave the Doctor a tight and comforting hug as if he was one of her own. He sobbed quietly letting out all the pain he bottled up. All of it from the Time War to now. Klein took a deep breath as he approached the two

Klein: ...I know those exact bottled-up emotions, Doctor. It might not have been like yours exactly but I know how it feels. The guilt, fear, agony, sadness, anger, lonely, frustration, and depression. I was a front soldier in my military days, and they still stay within my mind these days.

The Doctor: *sniffs* Y-You've been in battle before?

Klein: Wasn't the choice I wanted but given. I can imagine the fear of your soldiers when they went into this war. Every battle I had to be a part of, I came out broken and more. Being in the front line when enemies would attack, it's such a dark feeling. I could never kill...only once I have killed someone...and their death has been glued to me since then. It was the very first time I went into battle.

The Doctor: Must feel nice. Going through so much conflict and battle and surviving all of that without killing a person. You may not believe me Klein but I'm sure the innocent person you took down would agree. I'm sure they were in that same position as you.

Klein: I truly hope you are right Doctor in the name of the Brothers. But, what I am trying to tell you from all of this is...even if we want to get rid of all those bad memories, they won't go. They are already a part of you forever BUT you can learn from all of that to make sure it won't happen again.

The Doctor: I tell myself that. Every time I think back to the Time War...those memories come back to me...but I keep trying to go forward and telling myself that no other planet should ever deal with what I did.

Klein: Then keep being that Doctor of saving people. We've been honored, thanked, and told that this planet is thankful for protecting these lives. Imagine you with the universe.

The Doctor: *smiles* Thank you Klein very much.

Klein: Now just know that in the eyes of Weiss, you are her third favorite. Her mother in first and me in second.

The Doctor: Well, that certainly isn't fair! *Chuckles then looks at the screen* I'll find a way to stop them, one way or another. But Remnant won't fall into the hands of the Cybermen. That's a promise.

Willow: We know and just know that you are not alone Doctor. You have people, real people in your lives who will be there when the tough times come.

The Doctor: *smiles softly* Thank you Little Willow. So much like your father.

Willow: I know he would be smiling just at the sight of you here. *Looks at the portrait of him*

The Doctor: Just wait til I go visit him eventually. There is one favor I ask for both of you. Keep Weiss happy. Keep her safe. Let her live the life she deserves. You two ARE indeed the most important people in her life alongside her sister.

If only he knew that he was back on that list of most important people to her as Weiss continued to stare outside into the night sky thinking about him and their kiss. While everything was going down in Willow's room, Weiss was in the main hall, bored of this party but thankfully her mind was distracted at what is the only best thing about this event. It all felt so amazing but very familiar as if she had felt this before with someone.

Jacques: That's precisely my point. We offer Faunus the exact same wages given to the rest of our mining staff. Their argument's completely invalid right out of the gate.

Businessman: Well, I think the bigger issue here...

Weiss: *shakes head and sighs* Ugh.

Businessman: ...is our society as a whole.

Jacques: *scoffs* Why, you mean Atlas?

Businessman: Atlas, Mantle... You can't deny the economic disparity between the two.

Businesswoman: I mean, what exactly are you suggesting?

Businessman: I'm just saying I don't think it's necessarily an issue of compensation as much as it is one of opportunity...

Weiss was getting tired of this and wanted to get out of here. She already had a few ideas in mind and one of them, she hoped that the idiot who stole her heart was around. She was about to make her leave until her arm was grabbed aggressively by her father.

Jacques: *pulls Weiss back* Where are you going?

Weiss: I'm... just a little thirsty.

Jacques: Sweetheart, we have people for that. *Calls for a waiter*

Weiss: What? No, I can get it. I'll be right back, I promise.

Jacques gave a suspecting look while Weiss kept a calm look to convince her father to let her go. Few seconds, he does as she walks away while he gets back into the conversation.

Businesswoman: Look, no one asked them to move here.

Businessman: But companies like the SDC promised jobs.

Jacques: I'm sorry, I tuned out for a second, but sounds like I'm the good guy again?

She was finally free from him and all of that and wanted to find something to keep her distracted. Her heart pounding and her mind all fuzzy going haywire but she remained calm. She wanted to kiss him more, she wanted to hold his hands, and open her heart to him. She didn't know how or why she fell in love with a man she only met twice now but it worked. She passed by a portrait of Beacon Academy which brought back some good memories like meeting her friends and bad ones such as the Fall of Beacon. But there was more, and they weren't coming out. But soon, the wall that holds her former memories were about to be released soon.

Henry: It's beautiful. You two match.

So much for Weiss to leave the room and have her own fun. She was stopped by a young man close to her age and looks about the same height and age as William but nowhere near handsome.

Weiss: Yes, it's a lovely painting.

Henry: So, that was my attempt at breaking the ice. How am I doing so far?

Weiss: *sighs* You are leaving a lot to be desired.

Henry: Well, I've always appreciated honesty. *Takes out my hand* Henry. Marigold.

Weiss: Weiss Schnee. *Crosses arms*

Henry: I know, I saw your performance. Heh Obviously. Ahem! You were wonderful. And I promise I'm not just saying that 'cause you're pretty.

Yeah no, he was just trying too hard, and he isn't even cute in Weiss's eyes. He failed to even catch her blushing yet teasing given by the Doctor got her right in the heart.

Henry: Honesty, remember? So, you thinking about buying it?

Weiss: No. I don't think so.

Henry: Yeah, kinda pricey for a painting.

Weiss: ...It's to raise money.

Henry: Oh really? For what?

Weiss: For...For What?! *Looks at him pissed*

Henry: Heheh, I'll admit, I only come to these things for the food and drinks. *Grabs champagne* And the extraordinary company. Of course. *Approaches Weiss*

Weiss: *moves back* Leave.

Henry: So what, is it another Mantle fundraiser or something?

Weiss: Get. Out.

Henry: *snickers* What?

Weiss: Get out, or I will have security escort you out.

Henry: But I haven't done any-

Weiss: Leave! Be glad it'll be securities coming for you and NOT the Daleks...What?

Weiss's voice and position spoke volume that she did not like this idiot's company, and he understood her as he scoffed and left. But Weiss was confused at what she just said. Daleks? What even were those? She was beginning to feel a slight headache which meant bad news. To make matters worse, the voices of the crowd were growing louder and louder.

Angry Businessman: No, no, no! I asked for a double sundae! This is completely...

Waiter: I'm so sorry. Sir.

Weiss opened her eyes again trying to regain focus and looked at the art of Beacon Academy with a message written in the bottom of the frame that says, "SHOW THE WORLD WE CARE". However, the noises would not stop and not a damn person was caring at all.

Trophy Wife: But really, does it come as any surprise, what happened to Vale? It was a long time coming if you ask me.

Husband: Honey...

Trophy Wife: What? *laughs* You said the same thing last night. If they're so arrogant to think they can get by without proper kingdom defense, then I say good riddance. Let's not get even started with that idiot who tried to save a fallen kingdom.

Weiss had enough. Enough of these people. Enough of everything that happened over the year. Enough of being stuck here. Enough of these damn headaches. When she turned around to confront the lady, her eyes were no longer her pale blue eyes but instead yellow golden.

Weiss: SHUT UP!

Jacques: Weiss?

The room got quiet very fast as Jacques was walking towards Weiss while Whitley watched with a faint smile, not noticing the change in her eyes.

Weiss: You don't have a clue! None of you do!

Trophy Wife: Excuse me?

Weiss: You're all just standing around talking about nothing! Worrying about your hair, your money, your stupid problems that don't mean anything! Let me lend you something. ALL OF YOU! You think Grimm and the White Fang are the only bad guys out there wanting to hurt us...you haven't even seen what I've seen.

Jacques: Weiss, that's enough. *Grabs her arm and pulls her*

Weiss: Let go of me!

Jacques: You're embarrassing the family!

Whitley was the only to notice and that faint smile disappeared in a second when he saw the eyes of his sister glow with yellow-like mist coming out as well. The crowd noticed it as they backed up.

Weiss: I said... LET...GO!

The shout was enough to let out a golden pulse that sent her father flying to the ground as well as a few others and resulting in windows and glass drinks shattering. Weiss falls on her knees with her eyes still glowing yellow, but her sylph activated and releasing a Boarbatusk that left her jaw dropped. She noticed the glyph of the creature kept changing from blue and yellow constantly. Soon, her hands were beginning to glow as well and her mind flashing all white but hearing those voices once again.

Trophy Wife: Please, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, just leave me alone!

The creature made its charge towards her but was shot down by a loud blast. It resulted in the creature disappearing and the glowing on Weiss disappearing as well. The blast came from James Ironwood's gun as the woman went from fear to anger. Ironwood wasn't buying it as he helped Weiss up.

Trophy Wife: Arrest her! What are you waiting for? She's insane, she should be locked up.

Ironwood: She's the only one making sense around here. Thanks for the party, Jacques. *leaves*

The pulse was hit all over the Schnee mansion where even in Willow's room they felt it. The screen had an alert that said, "ALIEN ENERGY DETECTED!" but the Doctor already knew what this energy pulse was when he saw bits of yellow mist disappearing, Weiss.

Willow: What on earth-

The Doctor: Willow! Klein! I need you both to go look for Weiss NOW! It was her. It's the second time it's happened...I knew being here was risky.

Willow and Klein rushed out to Weiss only to see Jacques pulling her away to her room which Willow did not like as she marched towards them. The peeked as he recalled that when Jacques would get heated with his kids, Willow would hide and drink even more. In this timeline, it's very different and all because of a small change that brought a big outcome. Willow wasn't a heavy drinker nor a depressed mother. She was a fighter like her father and loved her children very much. He took this opportunity to make his leave while the two parents and Weiss remained in the room. He stopped however; he couldn't bear to see that asshole trying to be the bigger man of this place. He was gonna regret it but he heads back to the door of Weiss's room and listened.

Jacques: Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable. Do you have any idea what your stunt cost us?

Weiss: I—

Jacques: And don't think I'm just talking about Lien here! Our reputation! Our... our...

Willow: That's all you ever cared about Jacques! Fame, Money, Attention, Power! But without any of that, you are simply a coward who got away. My father and I were blinded by you when we met but he made sure I got a bit of that power too.

Jacques was very pissed as the two continued to argue while Weiss looked at her hands while having some recent thoughts as she decided to take a turn in speaking.

Weiss: I want to leave.

Jacques: I beg your pardon?

Weiss: I said I want to leave. I don't want to stay here anymore. I don't want to stay in Atlas anymore!

Willow: Perfectly fine with-

Jacques: NO! *Turns to Weiss* Young lady, I don't give a damn about what you want! This isn't about you. This is about the Schnee family name and your apparent insistence on dragging it through the mud!

Weiss: *stands up* I have done nothing but fight to uphold the honor of my family name, a name that you married into!

It all happened so suddenly when she felt sharp pain across her face and saw her mother's horror and angry eyes at what had just happened. Jacques snapped and slapped his own daughter right across. Willow had enough and gave Jacques a deserved punch across the face which shook him for a few seconds as Willow checked up on Weiss.

Jacques: *holds jaw in anger* This behavior of yours is incredibly disappointing. Just like your mother! JUST LIKE YOUR SISTER! You couldn't possibly understand the lengths I've gone to in order to keep this family where it is. You think running off like your sister is going to make the Schnee name stronger? You're wrong. Siding with her only divides us.

Weiss: I'm not siding with anyone. I'm doing what I feel is right, and that does not include wasting my time up here... ...with these clueless people in Atlas. The Schnee family legacy isn't yours to leave. It's mine, and I'll do it as a Huntress.

Jacques: No... you won't. You're not leaving Atlas. You're not to leave the manor grounds unless I specifically allow it. You are going to remain here, out of sight and out of trouble, until you and I come to an agreement on your future.

Weiss: What?!

Willow: JACQUES!

Jacques: Your presupposition that you can simply have whatever it is you want is a clear sign of our failure as parents. But from now on, I'll be giving you the full attention you require, starting by keeping you where I can see you.

Willow: Always an idiot! You can't just cage her from leaving!

Jacques: I can, and the staff here will make sure of it.

Weiss: So now I'm just your prisoner?!

Jacques: You are my daughter. You're a child, and children are grounded when they misbehave.

Willow: Alright Mr. Smarty-pants. This is only going to make things worse. People will ask questions! They'll want to know why our daughter, the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company is suddenly nowhere to be found!

Jacques: Which is why she is no longer the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company. Clearly, the trauma you endured at the fall of Beacon was too much for you. Which is why you've generously revoked your claim to the company and its earnings and passed it on to your brother Whitley.

Weiss: Excuse Me?!

Willow: Without my consent?!

Jacques: It's time to wake up and face reality.

Pain, Betrayal, Anger, Shock, so much in Weiss that she could not believe what went down. She couldn't move and could burly catch her breath. Willow saw it all and had enough as she marched out of the room as well to confront Jacques. When she got there however, Jacques was slammed onto the wall...by the Doctor.

The Doctor: I told you...I TOLD YOU! That it's a very small universe when I am angry at you. You are staring into a deep pit of hellfire and trouble now Jacques.

Jacques felt the fear. He felt it all over his body. He understood that this young boy wasn't your ordinary one and that's what scared him. He isn't one but acts like one. The Doctor was about to say more until two guards appeared behind him.

Guard #1: Sir, remove your hands from Jacques Schnee and keep them in the air. You are under arrest for breaking in and aggravated assault to Mr. Schnee.

Willow: T-That's not true! He was with me, I let him in!

Guard #2: He still assaulted Mr. Schnee which is still trouble.

Jacques: *fixes myself* Ahem! Please guards, escort this boy out of this building before.

The Doctor: Yeah right.

Quickly, he activates his sonic screwdriver on the guards' helmets which releases a loud ringing noise as the Doctor makes his run. Jacques was going to go after him but is tripped by Willow as he face plants onto the ground. Meanwhile, back in Weiss's room, she noticed Whitley passing by and needed to find out.

Weiss: Whitley?!

Whitley: *smiles softly* Yes, sister?

Weiss: *crosses arms* Did you know about this?

Whitley: About what?

Weiss: You never liked Winter. You never liked me. But you've been nothing but supportive since the moment I came back.

Whitley: If being kind to my big sister is some sort of crime, then I suppose I'm guilty.

Weiss: *eyes widened* You!...You wanted this to happen.

Whitley: *smirks* It's foolish not to do as Father asks.

Weiss: I...I...can't believe you...

Whitley: Don't worry, Weiss. The Schnee family name is in good hands. *Turns around and walks away*

It all made sense and it broke her. He never cared for her; he was only a part of this idea of being on the top like his father. Weiss slammed her door to her room and went onto her bed to cry out her tears. All that pain and loss, the humiliation, being caged in a place that isn't her home, and her mother could not do much against him. Now, her brother who never loved her pretended to do so just to have his own power around the house. She wanted to leave. She wanted to disappear and find her friends to be reunited again. She wanted to be with Him. Lifting her head up a bit to breathe, she saw something beneath her pillow.

Weiss: Huh? *Looks at it in confusion* A gift box? From whom?

Weiss looked at the lovely gift box and loved how it was decorated, but she really wanted to know who left her this and how? She opened it and inside were two objects: A necklace and a Sonic Screwdriver. The necklace being the one the Doctor gave to her at the Beacon Dance, the most beautiful necklace to ever exist. And next to it was a strange device but noticed the details of it: Creamy light grey handle, rings around the roundels on the control room walls, silver metal at both the bottom of the handle and the top and was capped off with a black pommel. Its emitter was blue and sat atop a silver metal section attached.

Weiss: What even is this? A weapon of some sort? Some kind of equipment for dust?

Weiss continues to observe it until she activates it and that's when it happens again: the headache. Believing it was the noise of the device, she turned it off, but the headache grew and she heard the voices once again. Screaming in pain, unable to call out for help, Weiss falls on her knees clenching her head as it soon began to come back to her. The TARDIS, Dalek Khan, the Stars and Planets, the Birth of Remnant, her grandfather, Dr. Pavel, Ocean Sky's, Vine Weiss, Oxthordol King, the Weeping Angels, Time Vortex, and him, The Doctor. Each flashing memory she gets, the pain grows, not realizing her hands are slowly glowing.

Dalek Khan: EXTERMINATE!

Dr. Pavel: I'll KILL YOU ALL! YOUR SOULS...WILL BE MINE!

Nicholas: Be yourself, be open, be kind, and cherish the memories you will create, have made, and be with the people who mean most to you.

Emerald: His police box is not an ordinary one. It can disappear into thin air within seconds, some people have spotted it at the local park nearby.

Ruby and Yang: IT'S BIGGER ON THE INSIDE!

Oxthordol King: Once I can create more evolution of us, other planets will be consumed, and we will be the superior race of this universe.

Vine Weiss: But thank you Weiss Schnee for giving me life, for helping me become who I want to be.

It was all coming back to her as she remembers her final moments before losing her memories from the day the Angels took over. Then, her eyes glowed as her mind took her back to that first night she travelled with the Doctor.

The Doctor: You are always safe as long as you're with me.

The cracks on the wall broke completely as Weiss released a golden energy pulse as if she was regenerating. The energy continued to wave out, destroying a few things near her as well as everything had finally come back to her until the energy stopped and she stood in that position for a bit until her body collapsed on the ground and lights out for her. Mist of golden energy returned in her mouth but tonight after a yearlong of not knowing anything...

Weiss Schnee finally remembers.
