More time skips...almost there!
Iris told Fred and George to take Care to their home. She had to stop and speak with Elijah about the loose wolf. It didn't take her long and she headed to her house. Elijah had told her he would speak with Niklaus.
Getting to her house she found her family in the living room, surrounding Care. She rushed over and took her into her arms, "Those people will never hurt you again" she tells her, "Jules is being hunted now by two originals and she will be punished".
They sat around for the rest of the night and when bedtime came, the quartet all climbed into Iris's bed and went to bed. No one wanted to be alone.

Sirius and Remus went to an afternoon tea at the Lockwood Estate that was being held for a big time writer. Of course Elijah couldn't keep a low profile, he wanted to torment the Salvatores. Iris and Care were lounging around with the twins, no chance of running into Tyler that way. They all knew Iris wanted to torture him.
Elijah had called earlier to tell Iris that Niks blood had arrived and Rose was healed. Now they were waiting on her to arrive. Iris and the twins had planned everything so they could make her a daylight ring. After that of course, Rose was going to get an earful for going near the Scooby Gang after she had told her not to.
"Rose is here" Care told them, a knock followed and Fred went to answer the door. Coming back in, Rose followed behind.
"Now I believe I told you to come to me if you were in Mystic Falls, not go to the Salvatores. I told you they were drama" Iris scolds.
"I'm sorry, I had heard that they were looking into Elijah and Klaus so I was trying to find out what they knew" Rose begins to tell them. Everyone nods for her to continue, "They knew Elijah was alive and then Elena decided to dig for information on the curse. She was going to hand herself over to Klaus but Damon stopped her. She's not the brightest" They laughed at what she said.
"How did they" Fred started. "Find all of this" George added, "Out" Care finished, smirking at Iris groan.
"Katherine told them about the curse, doppelganger and Klaus" Rose explains.
"Of course, Kitty Kat never learns does she" Iris murmurs.
Care interrupts by bouncing up and down, "Can we tell her" Rose looks confused at her question.
"Go ahead Care, explain it to her and we will begin" Iris tells her, walking off with the twins. Caroline tells Rose what they're making her. Rose is speechless.
The three magicals start the process, it didn't take them long to finish. Walking over to Rose, Iris hands her the ring. Rose puts it on and cautiously test it in a sliver of sunlight. "Oh my god, it works" she looks to them all, "Thank you! Five hundred years and now I can finally walk in the sun. I can sit and watch the sunrise" she finishes with tears in her eyes. The girls hug her.
"Now what are you not going to do" Care asks Rose.
"Hang around the Scooby Gang" She replies sassily.
Sirius and Remus arrive back home, walking in they notice the new person. Introductions are made and the two tell them what happened at the party. Elijah stabbing Damon with a pencil had them all rolling. They were just sitting down for dinner when a knock came.

The twins had walked into the kitchen with Jeremy following. They can tell something is off so Iris asks the question, "Jeremy are you okay" that sets him off.
"Sorry! I didn't know who else to go to. I found some stuff out and need help. No one else will listen to me" he rambles out. They get him calmed enough to tell them what he found out. He explains everything that happened with Bonnie and Luca and when he tells them that Elena has to die, he breaks down. They know they need to tell him about the plan but not unless he signs a contract. Remus leaves the room to draw one up.
"Jeremy calm down and breath" Sirius tries to comfort him, "Remus is about to bring in a contract for you to sign and then we can talk. You won't be able to tell anyone what you find out about us" Jeremy looks really confused.
"We promise that you" "Want to hear this" Fred and George tell him.
Jeremy is hesitant but signs, he needs help. iris tells him how they found a way to break the curse and no one has to die. When she explains to him that both Elijah and Klaus know the plan and agreed to it, he finally relaxes. Jeremy brings up his aunt, how she's been left in the dark. They tell him if he want's them to explain everything to her that he only needs to call them.

Iris knows something is wrong when Elijah hasn't answered any of her calls for three days. She had been trying to warn him about the plot Damon had been trying to get going. Rose was turning out to be an amazing spy, same as Jeremy. They found out everything Damon had been up to. Jeremy was mad that Elena and Alaric didn't want to tell Jenna about the supernatural and Iris thought it was super shady, she could end up hurt because she didn't know to be cautious.
Iris waited while the phone rang, smiling when the person on the other end answered.
"Hello Luv. How is everything going in your lovely little town" Nik asked.
Iris sighed, "You're brother is either ignoring my calls or has become a victim of the Scooby Gang because he doesn't listen" she tells him.
Niks quiet for a moment then replies, "I would usually say Elijah could take care of himself but I'm not sure since he's ignoring you"
"Jeremy told me Damon had invited Elijah over for a dinner party, I think they some how took him down because he hasn't answered since then. Nik is there any way they could do that" she asked.
Pausing before answering, "A dagger is the only object that could take an original down. A dagger and white oak ash, I have one for Elijah but it's been missing for years. Iris if he's daggered then his compulsion of Katherine has wore off"
"Shit, I'll go check the tomb and then I guess I'll look for Elijah while I'm at it" she huffs. Nik laughs at her reply.
"Be safe Luv, I will be there soon" he tells her.
"I love you Nik" Iris tells him softly.
"As I love you" Nik ends the call.
Of course when she checks the tomb Kitty Kat is gone. Iris text Nik and he told her he would keep an eye out. Iris was now on a mission to find Elijah.

When Iris got home she told everyone what she thought happened and what Nik had told her about the daggers. The only place she could think of them keeping his body would be in the Salvatore house. Iris looked to Dobby, "Is there any way you could look for him. Please don't get yourself hurt but if he is there bring him back" Dobby nodded and popped away. He was only gone twenty minutes when he was back, desiccated Elijah in hand.
"That is not a good look for him" Sirius murmurs, Remus shakes his head at him.
"Well, I guess I'll take the dagger out" Iris kneels next to Elijah and pulls on the dagger. When it's free she runs off to hide it. Dobby brings a blood bag for him. It takes maybe five minutes for the color to come back to his face.
When Elijah's eyes open he notices the look Iris is giving him. "What did I tell you about staying away from those people" she asks quietly.
Elijah actually looked embarrassed, "I thought they would keep their word of not trying to kill me" he explains.
His answer caused everyone else to groan. Iris decided to make him feel worse. "Katherine is gone from the tomb. Your stupidity lost us a vampire" she hisses.
Elijah looks away from her, playing with his torn and burned suit. "I'll get her back" he tells them.

Care and Iris were at school when they overheard Bonnie and Elena talking. At least they figured out where Katherine had run to. Iris wondered if they had noticed Elijah was missing yet. Iris was sitting and eating lunch with Jeremy when he told her how Bonnie had lost her powers because she messed with Elijah's witches. Iris knew she would have to let Sheila know that her granddaughter was off the rails again.
There was a band playing at the grill that night and the girls were going with Fred and George. They had been enjoying the evening when all of the lights blew and all hell broke loose. They were helping people get out when a fire started on the bar. Iris looked around to see if she could find they culprit. Finally she spotted one of Elijahs witches.
Iris ran over to him, "Stop! You're going to kill innocent people" she yells.
"They tried to murder my son, they deserve it" Jonah tells her.
Iris ask him, confused, "Who are you talking about" he nods towards Elena, Bonnie and Stefan.
Why did they always cause problems, Iris grabbed him, "I can help your son, you don't have to kill all of these innocent people"
He looks at her suspiciously, "How do I know I can trust you to keep your word" he asks.
"I made sure Elijah was safe and I always keep my word" Iris tells him. Jonah agrees to take her to Luka. She tells Care and the twins where she's going and for them to get her uncles and Elijah for backup. Iris leaves with Jonah.

Arriving to Jonahs apartment, Iris follows him inside. See the state Luka was in Iris sat on the side of the bed. Careful not to jostle him. Iris rubs the stone on her wrist and begins to feel the magic of Death. Iris begins her work. She was concentrating on Luka so hard, she never noticed Elijah and her uncles enter. Sirius and Remus were pissed at Jonah for endagering her. Elijah was staring at Iris as she wove her magic to heal Luka.
Elijah could only think, 'Maybe this will all work out and I can finally have my family back together' as he watched Luka's body knit back together.
Iris stood and instantly slumped, Remus and Sirius catching her. "I'm finished but his body needs to rest. No magic and no moving for a couple days. He is only allowed simple tasks after" she tells Jonah. Iris was exhausted, those Salvatores just kept hurting people.
"Is that part of your powers from Death" Elijah asks, "Vampire blood wouldn't have been able to do that and yet you did with a touch"
Jonah thanks Iris, "You have no idea how grateful I am, I will forever be in your debt"
Iris shakes her head at him, "It wasn't right, what happened. I've told Elijah but I'll tell you as well. Stay away from the Salvatores and Elena Gilbert. They will only end up getting you killed or if they believe your a threat to Elena, kill you" looking to Elijah "When Nik gets to town we can sit down and talk. Don't push things" Iris is lead out of the apartment by her uncles.

Jeremy had been keeping the family in the loop about events. Turns out Alarics not dead wife showed up and said some things to Jenna. She was upset, who could blame her. Iris suggested that Siri and Remy should talk to her. They weren't in any way related to the people who had lied and they had told Alaric to tell her. They knew Jeremy wanted her to know so they agreed and went to talk to her.
