Ryo spotted the dragon ornaments Mokuba had told him about. He took the boy's hand and led him to a shelf. He picked up one of the dragon ornaments and couldn't help admiring how nice it was. He then turned the boy's hand and was about to place it on his hand. What he didn't expect was the boy freaking out.

Mokuba saw what he was about to do and his instincts kicked in. He tried to wrench his hand from Ryo who was holding it. The boy started whimpering and crying trying to avoid touching a forbidden object. Although he wouldn't have gotten into trouble for holding it. He'd been beaten many times when Noah or Marine would do this. They'd force his hand open and place an object in his hand. Then show his stepmother he was playing with it. Then he'd get beaten.

Ryo was stunned by the reaction. He placed the ornament back on the shelf. He bent down and hugged the boy tight, rubbing his back, still taken aback by his reaction. He didn't understand what triggered this. He had only wanted to show the boy it was okay to touch something.

He then spotted a book called, 'Agaxander and Fo the magic dragon in the Rings of Doom." He reached out and grabbed the book. He then picked the crying child up and left the room. They'd have to try again another time. He took the now sniffling child to his bedroom. He decided seeing as the ball was tomorrow evening, he'd just skip trying to understand what happened and just read to him until he fell asleep.

Yami, eager to try his new clothes spell called a meeting with all guards and knights. He explained what he wanted to do. Then explained the incentives. Joey, always eager for extra cash without having to do overtime, plus extra vacation time volunteered.

The incentives were nice but the magic clothes trial wasn't exactly making anyone else rush to volunteer. Soon someone pushed a new guy named David forward. He had a slight stutter and had been bullied out of other kingdoms. So far no one here had said a word about his stutter. But he'd only been in the kingdom a few weeks. He didn't know about Mokuba so he had no way to know that no one here would bully him for it. Because they knew if the king found out they did. He would have their heads.

Yami looked at him, not remembering seeing him before. "Are you new here?"

David bowed, "Y-yes sir."

"Both of you follow me then."

Yami then gave each a piece of cloth and created the clothes from there. "Any problems let me know."

The next day Joey, having been hanging out with Yugi for a while now, like Seto, didn't trust magic completely. He had a pair of pants and a shirt that were super tight fitting. He had thought he looked good in them until Serenity saw them and laughed saying he looked ridiculous. So he hadn't worn them since. But the clothes Yami made were loose fitting. So Joey put on his tight clothes then the clothes Yami made. This way even if the magic came undone no problem. This was specifically why he'd volunteered.

David on the other hand came from a kingdom where magic was frequently used. But not everyone could use magic or like David himself use it very often. So he only wore his long johns as he trusted the magic would hold.

The next day after breakfast Yami went to check on Joey and David. Yami wanted to do it in private but the other guards started ragging on David and Joey to do it in front of everyone. Joey having nothing to hide said it was David's choice he didn't care. David, feeling confident in the clothes, agreed to do it in public.

They stood on stage and David hated being the center of attention. Yami got closer and before he could touch them someone threw a tomato and it hit David square in the chest. For some reason the clothes started to glitch and come undone. David ran off the stage embarrassed. Hearing laughter he assumed it was directed at him not Joey. Joey just smiled.

"You knew this would happen!" A guard yelled out.

Joey shook his head. "No but when you make friends with a guy like Yugi still learning magic and seeing it come undone a time or two you grow a little weary. I figured that Master Atemu's clothes would be loose fitting enough that I could wear these clothes under them and if it held no problem. If it didn't, well I'd be covered."

Yami sighed he was disappointed that the clothes didn't hold. He knew Seto would simply tell him he told him so. He was thankful neither Mahaado nor his assistant Dylan knew of this. After listening to Dylan call him and Yugi amateurs while working on the other project he could only imagine what either would say they knew. He left upset that it didn't work. But at the same time happy that Seto had suggested this. He realized that had they gone with his plan both he and Seto would have ended up in nothing but their undergarments in front of dozens of other countries. Then one or more might have taken this as them being weak and defenseless. That could have meant a war with one or more countries trying to conquer them. He went to his room with the scraps of cloth and studied his books. He soon found the issue. But wasn't willing to risk it again for such an important event. Plus he knew Seto would find out about the initial failure even if he tried to hide it. He created them again and placed them in the closet.

Joey meanwhile went to change clothes when he spotted David with his bags packed. "Hey where are you going?"

"I'm n-not going t-to stay and be m-mocked."

"Don't take it personally. Master Atemu did his best. Besides, the guys weren't laughing at you. They were laughing at me."

"I know n-noone likes me. I-it's the same thing in e-every kingdom."

"We don't hate you. We barely even know you."

"Are y-you telling m-me noone's n-noticed that I s-stutter?"

Joey shrugged, "Doubt it."

"Yeah and w-what makes this k-kingdom any better?"

"Well in case you didn't notice Master Atemu didn't say a word about it when he met you. How many times has that happened in these other kingdoms?"

David frowned. Now that Joey mentioned it. He did think it was odd that Yami never said a word about it. He always got surprised or annoyed looks from everyone in the past.

"The reason for that is Master Mokuba."

"Who's that? I d-didn't see that n-name come up in my r-research."

"I'm surprised. He's been here going on 6 months now. Princess Maura I'd understand she's only been here a few weeks."

"Really I h-hadn't heard Princess Maura l-left the Sky Kingdom. The other, I m-might have read the n-name somewhere."

"Well now that you mention it. Master Mokuba did leave for about 4 months so really he's technically only been here 2 months. I guess the king and Master Atemu haven't made it really official outside the town."

"You h-haven't answered m-my question. Who are t-they?"

"Master Mokuba is the king's long lost little brother and Princess Maura, Master Atemu adopted from that other kingdom."

"T-then why do y-you not address h-him as prince? I r-read he d-died in childbirth."

Joey rubbed the back of his head. "I don't know. I guess because the king hasn't made anything official and when he was first brought here no one knew he was the king's long lost brother. He was just some kid the king was going to adopt. Someone called him Master and it sorta stuck. I don't know any details. King Kaiba and Master Atemu haven't told anyone if they know. But for some reason the late Master King Gozaburo lied and told everyone the boy died when he really gave him away."

"W-what does this h-have to do with my s-stuttering?"

"Well you see Master Mokuba has a severe stutter. So if anyone were to mock you they know the king would be angry. Because if they mock you then they might mock Master Mokuba. "
