"So you're the kyuubi as mom said you're strong and powerful" said naruto
"ahh my previous host, do you know who killed her?" asked kyuubi with an evil smirk
"I guess it's you but I understand from where you're coming so I don't hate you. Like me you're the victim that night to that blasted uchiha. anyways can you tell me if there is any restriction seal on me?" said naruto
"tch those two idiots ruined my fun but as for the seal it is there someone put it on you" said kyuubi lazily
"Who was it?" asked naruto
"I do not have access to your senses so I don't know who it was" said kyuubi
Naruto just nodded as there is no information he can get on the culprit so he looked around to see the place was damp and sewer "Hey why my mind looks like sewer?" asked naruto
"Hm early years of torture and ignorance lead to this but now I can feel this fixing since you know you found lot of things about yourself" said kyuubi with a chuckle
"Can I change the scenary for your liking along with access to my senses for removing that seal?" asked naruto
"Do whatever you want after all this is your mind and I'll take care of the seal" said kyuubi and shrugged
"Before that how do I give you access to my senses?" asked naruto
"Rip one-fourth of the tag and that will give me access to your senses" said kyuubi
"Thank you" said naruto and ripped a fourth of the seal giving kyuubi access to his senses and naruto closed his eyes and sent a wave of bright chakra that forced kyuubi to cover his using one of his tails and when both naruto and kyuubi opened their eyes, the mindscape was changed. There was a giant lake in front of kyuubi and naruto which was surrounded by forests and small red rosebushes that were near the pond and surrounding it. It was also night time and there was a full moon on the sky reflecting of the surface of the lake, not to mention there was no cloud in the sky and there were small animals running around as well as small foxes.
"what's with the animals and foxes?" asked kyuubi raised his brow a bit
"Well I thought you'll get bored alone in here and as for foxes you're a fox so maybe you can enjoy some company other than my own" said naruto
"very well, in return I'll give you advice during training and battles, I'm the strongest biju so I want you to be strongest just like Uzumaki Mito was and after her You mother was. I have a reputation to hold" said kyuubi
"Thank you and I will not disappoint you" said naruto
"Before you leave you don't have chakra coils in your body" said kyuubi impassively
"WHAT" yelled Naruto and immediately started to panick kyuubi tried to make him stop but naruto didn't listen so kyuubi leaked a bit of his KI making naruto froze in his place, all thoughts of kyuubi's new fleeing his mind as he registered the new feeling. The mindscape stopped shaking as Naruto slowly turned towards kyuubi.
"W-what was t-that?" asked naruto in a shaken voice
Kyuubi stared Naruto in the eye, indicating he was serious, "That was killing intent. Usually used by shinobi's to intimidate each other. Whoever has the higher killing intent is able to make the other suffer illusions of death, if the killing intent is potent enough. I'm surprised though, that you managed to stay conscious", he said with a raised eyebrow.
"And you thought that was the best way to calm someone who is having a panic attack?!" asked naruto scowling a bit at the fox.
Shrugging a bit, kyuubi defended himself, "You have to start someday. Also, that was only a little of my killing intent. You have yet to experience my full killing intent", he finished, grinning maliciously in the end.
Naruto simply ignored the said beast and asked his own question "What were you saying about my chakra coils?"
kyuubi sat up, towering over Naruto, who had to look up towards him, "As I said, there are no chakra coils in your body. But that doesn't mean that it's a bad thing. Your absence of chakra coils actually makes it easier for you to control your chakra. You can directly control it, without having to rely on chakra coils. Which means, you will actually have excellent chakra control. You were lucky, however. Most people would not be so fortunate as to controlling chakra without chakra coils." explained kyuubi to naruto as simply as he could
"Than why am I different?" asked naruto
"It doesn't matter no body knows answer to this question and you're done for today's question and answer, let me sleep and strat training to use your chakra while I sleep don't bother me" said kyuubi and immediately went to snoring much to Naruto's amusement
'How can someone sleep so fast?' thought naruto to himself as he looked at sleeping form of the kyuubi but in the end shrugged it and decided he should sleep as well and left the mindscape.
(Next Day)
Next day naruto woke up late as kyuubi make sure that his host's mind is in good shape so he worked on sorting out memories his host just recieved last night.
Naruto went through his usual morning routine and after finishing up and stood in the balcony of his apartment and feeling the morning breeze.
"Time to get to work" said Naruto and did a cross sign "Shadow Clone Jutsu" and two clones appeared beside him.
"Ok listen you two go to library and transform into some random civilian and ninja. Civilian clone will go to civilian section or general section and will create further clones to go through them and ninja clone will do the same amd dispell one every 30 seconds so I won't suffer from backlash." said naruto
"Hai" said both clones and jumped of the balcony and immediately travelled through the village taking roofs as a safe route.
"Now what should I do? I need weights but from my parents knowledge they used seals and for them I need supplies and I have 15000 ryo and I think that much will be enough for me to get some weight and sealing material, I'll ask jiji to tell me a shop that doesn't treat me as kyuubi" said naruto to himself and jumped down and made a quick run towards the hokage tower.
(At Hokage Tower)
Naruto quickly made his way towards the hokage's office but stopped at receptionist to ask if hokage is available or not.
"Hello miss is hokage free?" asked naruto politely as he didn't want to anger his jiji before he get his shopping done.
"Ohh hello what... the hell are you doing here boy" sneered the receptionist as soon as she looked at Naruto's face.
"I want to meet hokage-jiji as I need some help" said naruto trying to reason with the lady
"Get out of here or else I'll call anbu. Hokage has no time for people like you" snarled the receptionist
"Hey don't be mean I'm just asking if I can meet him or not" said naruto
"Anbu get this trouble out of here" ordered receptionist the anbu who hated naruto was about to move but Hokage's voice cut them off.
"What's going on here?" commanded the third hokage
"Nothing hokage-sama" said the receptionist
"Jiji" naruto jumped with excitement and hugged the hokage
"Hello naruto-kun how are you?" asked elderly hokage before turning to receptionist "I'm with him so no appointments" said hokage and guided naruto towards his office
"I'm fine jiji but I need your help" said naruto as they entered the office and took seats.
"What help?" asked hokage
"Actually first I need some chakra weights, second I need calligraphy kit and fuinjutsu material to practice, third I need a kenjutsu teacher and lastly I need a training ground that has both water surfaces, trees and a water fall and is not visited by normal shinobi's to do the exercises jiraiya-sensei sent me" said naruto in one go which made old hokage chuckle
"Hm first two we can solve, I can take you to Higurashi weapon shop" said hokage
"But jiji won't they hate me for?" asked naruto and pointed to his stomach
"No my boy it's a ninja store and the owner is smart enough to differentiate between kunai and a scroll" said hokage as he assured naruto about his fear of being thrown out of the store.
"As for third request Neko" called hokage and a purple masked anbu appeared in front of him kneeling for further instructions.
"From now on everyday for one hour, you'll train young naruto in Kenjutsu" said hokage
"Hai hokage-sama I would love to pass on the teachings to him does he have a practice sword?" asked neko
"Yes I have one neko nee-chan" said naruto
"good as for training ground use training ground number 0, as hardly anyone can enter that training ground as it's protected by seals from Uzumaki Mito, so only hokage and Uzumaki can enter thay ground" said hokage
"Awesome, see you at training ground 0 at 5 pm everyday, sensei" said naruto
"Ofcourse be prepared it will be hard" said neko and turned to hokage "Can you key me in hokage-sama?" asked neko
"Sure I'll visit with you today, for now you're dismissed" said hokage and neko bowed to him and disappeared back in shadows.
"Come now let's go and get you a calligraphy set, ink, brushes and scrolls to practice fuinjutsu and chakra weights as well as a new set of kunai, senbon and shuriken as a gift from me for graduation" said hokage with a smile as he ruffled the boy's hair
"Thank you jiji" said naruto and hugged his surrogate grandfather as the duo moved out of the office and building and continued their journey towards Higurashi weapon shop.
(At Higurashi Weapon Shop)
As Hokage and Naruto entered the weapon shop, they were greeted by a man who was wearing simple white kimono and had a sword strapped to the left side of his waist. He is Higurashi Ken, owner of Higurashi Weapon Shop and father to Higurashi Tenten.
"Hello hokage-sama!! how can I help you today?" asked Ken
"Nothing much ken-san but young naruto here would like to have two set of chakra weights, calligraphy kit and material to practice fuinjutsu along with a new durable and deadly set of kunai, shuriken and senbons." said hokage
"Ohh he's finally a shinobi, it will be an honour to serve leafs hero finally" said ken with a smile as he looked towards naruto who went wide eyed.
"Thank you" was all naruto said as he hugged the man who chuckled at Naruto's reaction
"While I fetch your equipments feel free to look around the shop" said ken and went on to get the supplies and naruto just nodded and started looking around the shop. After looking for a while he found clothing section where he picked up few civilian clothes as well as some shinobi clothes along with a few orange trench coats which he'll wear later. Once done he grabbed all the clothes and walked upto the hokage.
"Jiji can I buy these?" asked naruto in a hopeful voice as he wasn't sure if he is allowed to buy them or not.
"Yes you can my boy" said hokage and naruto excitedly placed his clothes on the counter and waited for ken to arrive.
15 minutes later ken arrived with a large scroll in his hand and placed it on the counter. "Here you go all the supplies you wanted, and you're buying these clothes too?" asked ken
"Hai ken-san" said naruto
"Hm total will be ten thousand ryo" said ken with a smile as he sealed Naruto's clothes in the scroll.
Naruto nodded and pulled out his wallet and counted ten thousand ryo and handed them to ken much to Hokage's amusement.
"Keep you money naruto-kun, I'll pay it" said hokage as he grabbed Naruto's hand at last moment
Naruto shook his head in denial "No jiji, I'll pay for my expenses and since I'm a ninja now I can take care of things like this" said naruto
"But.." hokage was about to counter but naruto continued "but you can help me with groceries as they were still held by civilians and they won't let me in or will sell me expired items" said Naruto and placed the money on the counter.
Ken counted it and looked at naruto "If you need any help with weapons, clothing or any other ninja equipment related thing feel free to come to me" said ken
"Do you make custom weapons as well?" asked naruto
"Indeed what weapon will you require?" asked ken in confusion as hokage looked confused as well.
"Er well I'm interested in ordering a certain tri pronged kunai later down the year " said naruto
"You mean" was all ken said
"Thank you for doing business with me ken-san, I'll reach out to for other things as well as that order" said naruto and ken just nodded
'He will be more trouble than both of his parents combined, damn you Minato and Kushina for giving me headache even after being dead' thought hokage
"Come naruto-kun you should start training already if you have to learn that jutsu by the end of this year" said hokage and naruto nodded and walked out of the store after wishing ken a good day as hokage started leading him to the training ground.
