Chapter 1

(Over 14 years later…)

A female Roserade and female Primarina were seen at an ocean town exiting a shop.

Roserade: Man, that place didn't have any good TMs for sale.

Primarina: Come now, you know we're just here for a rest. We still need to make it to the Rescuers Guild if we want to join.

Roserade: Yeah yeah, I know. Come on, the train should be arriving.

Roserade and Primarina made their way to the train station as four other certain Pokemon were already on it.

Umbreon: Woo! Now that's what I call a successful mission!

Blaziken: Yeah, and you Zebstrika, you showed those crooks who's boss.

Zebstrika: Oh come now, the real credit goes to him.

Zebstrika motions over to the group leader, Lucario.

Remember Riolu, Torchic, Blitzle, and Eevee? This was them all grown up and strong. Now full time members of the Rescuers Guild.

Lucario: Guys, come on. It was a team effort and you know it.

Umbreon: Don't be so modest, dude. You took out their leader. Now that gang of Patrats and Watchogs will never bother anyone again now that we took care of Ursaring.

Lucario: But I only got to him because you took care of the Patrat and Watchog.

Zebstrika: Dude, you fought an Ursaring by yourself. Fighting a group of Patrat and Watchog is nothing.

Blaziken: He's right, you know.

Lucario: It still sucks though. I thought I was going to find my mom there.

Blaziken: Well there wasn't much to go on except that we were told about an odd Pokemon being around.

Umbreon: And all it turned out to be was a shiny female Unfeazant.

Zebstrika: But don't give up Lucario. We're sure your mom is out there somewhere.

In the next train car, Roserade and Primarina board as they found their seats.

Roserade: How long will it take for us to get there again?

Primarina: I believe it will take us three days. Then we hike down the path leading to the guild.

The train whistle blew as it started to leave the station.

Lucario: Off we go. Lets go to our rooms to settle in.

As the Super Stars went to their rooms, Roserade and Primarina were right behind as they were also heading to their room.

Roserade: Why is it so far? I want to be there now.

Primarina: Well it makes sense, considering where they are.

Roserade: A mountain town. Yeah yeah.

The Super Stars made it to their cabin rooms. Lucario and Blaziken bunked with each other where Zebstrika and Umbreon bunked with each other.

As they entered, Roserade and Primarina arrived into the train car.

Roserade: Room number 6…

The girls found their room and entered as they unpack some of their things.

Roserade: I want to be there now…

Primarina: Come now, we can still have fun on the train.

As the girls left their room, a Machamp and Pangoro approached them.

Pangoro: Well now, you ladies seem you're in need of some company.

Machamp: Come with us. We can make your girls comfortable for the ride.

Primarina: Um, that's kind of you two but-

Roserade: We're not interested. So beat it.

Pangoro: Come on now. Don't be like that. Let's get to know each other.

Lucario: If they're not interested, they're not interested.

Lucario, Blaziken, Zebstrika, and Umbreon walked out of their rooms as they shined their badges of being part of the Rescuers Guild.

Machamp: Oh great. They're guild members. Let's get out of here.

Pangoro: Tch.

The two left as Lucario watched them leave to make sure they were gone.

Lucario: Phew. You two okay?

Primarina: Yes. Thank you. We're grateful for your help.

Roserade: Come on now. We could've handled them. So, you guys are part of the Rescuers Guild?

Zebstrika: Yeah. We're on our way back home from a job.

Primarina: Really now. Where from?

Blaziken: We just did a mission defeating a group of Patrat and Watchog led by an Ursaring far up north. Stealing from the nearby villages of their property and food.

Roserade: Did they really need the four of you? Seems overkill to fight a group of Patrat and Watchog.

Umbreon: Hold on, you calling us weak?

Primarina: Roserade, please don't insult them.

Roserade: I'm just saying those are just simple Pokemon to fight. No need for a team of four to take them on. I bet I can take on one of you.

Zebstrika: Very well. I'll be that one to take on.

Roserade: Woah, very gutsy, stripes.

Lucario: This train has an arena. We can use that.

The Pokemon made their way to the arena as other Pokemon gathered to watch.

Roserade: You know you're at a type disadvantage being an Electric type while I'm part Grass type.

Zebstrika: I wouldn't rely on that.

Lucario: Alright, this will be one on one. Know outside help or tools will be used. As ref, I will decide when the battle is over.

Roserade: Seems fair.

Zebstrika: I only need my moves to win anyway.

Lucario: Alright. Now… BEGIN!

Roserade: Here, have some Toxic!

Roserade fired the poison attack as Zebstrika dodged it.

Zebstrika: I prefer a good charge. Some Flame Charge!

Zebstrika's body is covered in flames as he charges and rams into Roserade as his speed is increased.

Roserade: How did you-

Zebstrika: High Horsepower!

Zebstrika rams into Roserade again with higher speed.

Roserade: You think you're good but try this. Dazzling Gleam!

Roserade fires the omni-directional fairy attack.

Zebstrika: Yeah, I'm not scared at all. Smart Strike!

The twin horns on Zebstrika become metal as he charges.

Zebstrika: Now Flame Charge!

Zebstrika pierces through Dazzling Gleam as he rams his combo into Roserade.

Roserade: (How the heck did he do that?!)

Zebstrika landed down as he attacked with another Flame Charge.

Zebstrika repeated his attack over and over as his speed increased with every use.

Roserade: Come on! Giga Drain!

Roserade fired the attack only for Zebstrika to vanish with his massively enhanced speed.

Roserade: What the-

Zebstrika: High Horsepower!

Zebstrika appeared behind Roserade with the powerful ground attack.

Roserade: (His speed was enhanced with Flame Charge. But he hasn't used any range. So that means…)

Roserade: You fought well. But it's time for you to surrender. Extrasensory!

Roserade fired her psychic move and caught Zebstrika and lifted him into the air.

Roserade: I noticed you only use physical up close moves. So I can keep this up and force you to lose.

Zebstrika: Heh. What makes you think that? You only saw three of my moves. Which means I got one more.

Roserade: And it's probably a Wild Charge or something like that.

Zebstrika: Nah. More like, Electro Ball!

Zebstrika fired the electric projectile where his superior speed made it way stronger as it blasted Roserade, forcing Extrasensory to end.

Zebstrika landed safely as the smoke cleared showing Roserade defeated.

Lucario: Round over. Zebstrika wins!

Blaziken and Umbreon ran over to their friend and congratulated him as Primarina checked on her friend.

Primarina: Are you okay?

Roserade: I couldn't even land one good hit in. Not one…

Umbreon: So, think we're weak now?

Roserade gritted her teeth and ran to her room.

Primarina: I am so sorry for her behavior. Where we're from, she was praised a lot and grew up with a strong mindset thinking she is superior to most.

Blaziken: Where did you girls come from?

Primarina: We came from a small section area called the Orange Islands.

Umbreon: I read about that place. It's a group of islands that are in the ocean where hardly any problems occur. No Rescuers Guilds are even built there due to how well maintained things are over there.

Blaziken: And because of that, not many Pokemon grow up to be strong fighters.

Primarina: Only me and Roserade are the exception. So we came here to support our home.

Lucario: I see. And because of that, Roserade grew up, well, how do I say it…

Primarina: It's okay. I'm aware of her superiority complex.

Night fell as everyone was sleeping in their rooms.

Except the Machamp and Pangoro duo from earlier.

Machamp: The boss wasn't happy at all.

Pangoro: All because those guild members were there! We need Females!

?: What are you fools doing?!

A giant Chestnaught arrived with a Conkeldurr, Scrafty, and Toxicroak.

Chestnaught: How could you fail getting those two girls?! We already captured some and hid them in the cargo!

Machamp: Sorry boss. Rescuer Guild members are on board and stopped us.

Pangoro: And with four of them, making this a success will be risky.

Chestnaught: Don't worry. Unlike you morons, I got a plan. Toxicroak, you know what to do.

Toxicroak: They won't know what hit them *croak*

Machamp: Wait, one of them is-

Chestnaught: Shut it! Toxicroak, tomorrow, deal with those Rescuers.

Toxicroak just croaked in response,

The next morning, the Rescuers offered the girls breakfast as a way to make up for yesterday.

Lucario: So how about we start fresh and let bygones be bygones?

Primarina: I agree. Roserade?

Roserade just stared at her food, still bitter about her defeat.

Primarina: Roserade…

Zebstrika: Come on, the fight is said and done. No need for grudges

Roserade: Yeah, whatever.

Everyone ate their food as Toxicroak was secretly watching.

Toxicroak: (Those fools haven't realized I spiked all the food with poison. Once they digest, they'll be asleep for quite some time. Not even those Rescuers will be awake to stop us.)

As time passed, everyone who ate was in their cabins fast asleep due to the poisoned food.

The Fighting type group started to move as they broke into every room and kidnapped every female including Roserade and Primarina.

Chestnaught: See, I told you my plan would work!

All the girls were tied up as they were placed in the cargo car with the Fighting Pokemon looking down on them.

Chestnaught: Now, to disconnect this car and be long gone. Scrafty!

Scrafty: Yes, boss!

Before Scrafty could even move though, a powerful blast sent him flying.

Chestnaught: What the!?

The Fighting Pokemon looked at the attacker, they saw Lucario who fired Aura Sphere.

Lucario: Sorry, did I interrupt something?

Chestnaught: What?! Toxicroak, why is he awake!?

Machamp: That's what we were trying to tell you, boss! One of the Rescuers is a Lucario, who is part Steel type! Poison does nothing to him!

Lucario: And before you get the idea I'm alone. I woke up my friends.

Blaziken: Yeah. With a Bone Rush to our heads.

Blaziken, Zebstrika, and Umbreon walked in with bumps on their heads.

Blaziken: Could've been more gentle at least.

Lucario: Don't care. Listen, we need to stop these yahoos before this train reaches the station by tomorrow. But first…

Lucario goes up to the couplings to the car and then…

Lucario: Ice Punch!

Lucario uses the ice move on the couplings and freezes them together.

Lucario: Now then…

Lucario still had Ice Punch activated as he walked forward where he stood in front of Chestnaught.

Chestnaught: And what do you want now?

Lucario smirked where he gut punched Chestnaught and trapped him in ice.

Machamp: You little-

Zebstrika rammed into Machamp with High Horsepower as Blaziken confronted Pangoro.

Blaziken: About time I get in on the action

Pangoro: Bring it you oversized chicken! Hammer Arm!

Pangoro launched a barrage of Hammer Arms as Blaziken casually dodged.

Blaziken: Geez, is that all you got? Blaze Kick!

Blaziken kicked Pangoro up into his jaw where Blaziken did a roundhouse kick to Pangoro's head and slammed him into a stack of giant crates.

Blaziken: How lame.

Umbreon was dodging a barrage of Brick Break from Toxicroak.

Toxicroak: *croak* You're in a bad match up! A Dark Type like you is weak to a Fighting Type like me!

Umbreon: Yeah I'm not too worried.

Umbreon jumped on top of a crate as he relaxed himself.

Umbreon: Psychic…

Umbreon used the Psychic type move on Toxicroak as he stretched, spun, and squished the Pokemon around.

Umbreon then slammed Toxicroak into the ground as the Moonlight Pokemon's tail glowed.

Umbreon: Iron Tail!

Umbreon leaped into the air and slammed his steel tail onto Toxicroak, knocking him out.

Zebstrika zoomed around Machamp using Flame Charge over and over again to increase his speed.

Machamp: Hold still you striped freak!

Machamp was attempting to strike Zebstrika with Dynamic Punch but the Thunderbolt Pokemon was too fast.

Zebstrika: You know, for final evolutions, you guys are super weak.

Zebstrika fired Electro Ball and knocked out Machamp.

Roserade who was still out started to wake up as her Poison type attribute allowed the poison in her to wear off faster.

Roserade: What… where am I?

Roserade woke up and saw Lucario fighting Conkeldurr.

Roserade: What's going on?

Zebstrika: Glad you're awake.

Zebstrika used Smart Strike to cut Roserade free as he turned his attention to the other girls.

Conkeldurr was using Superpower over and over.

Conkeldurr: You're scared aren't you! I'm too strong for you!

Conkeldurr then started to use Close Combat as Lucario continued to dodge nonstop.

Roserade: Why does he keep dodging? He should attack back.

Zebstrika: He's using the weaknesses of those moves.

Roserade: Weaknesses?

Zebstrika: You'll see.

Conkeldurr was running out of steam where he used Superpower again only for Lucario to stop it with a single paw.

Lucario: Got ya. METEOR… MASH!

Lucario powered up the attack and rammed into Conkeldurr point blank as he amped up his power in the process.

Conkeldurr was knocked out cold.

Lucario: You got defeated easily because you abused Close Combat and Superpower. Close Combat lowers both your Defense and Special Defense. Superpower also lowers your Defense while also lowering your Attack power. So you not just wore yourself out, you made yourself weaker.

Roserade: Woah…

Zebstrika: Told you. He used the downsides to those moves. Sure they're strong moves but you have to be careful when you use them. Or else you'll be defeated easily.

Scrafty recovered and attacked Lucario with a High Jump Kick only for Lucario to turn around and fire another Aura Sphere to knock out Scrafty.

Lucario: Alright, let's tie these guys up and check out the other passengers.

Blaziken, Lucario, and Umbreon tied up Machamp, Pangoro, Toxicroak, and Scrafty while Chestnaught watched while still trapped in the ice.

Zebstrika finished cutting the girls free as they all started to wake up including Primarina.

Roserade: Primarina!

Primarina: What's going on?

Zebstrika: Long story. For now, take it easy.

In a fit of rage, Chestnaught broke free and smashed a Hammer Arm attack into Zebstrika as the Pokemon crashed into several crates.

Umbreon: Zebstrika!

Chestnaught grabbed Roserade and jumped through the top of the train car and made it on top of the train.

Lucario: Crap! Blaziken, with me! Umbreon, stay here with Zebstrika!

Lucario and Blaziken chased after Chestnaught as Umbreon stayed with Zebstrika and the girls.

Lucario and Blaziken followed Chestnaught on top of the train as they made it all the way to the end.

Chestnaught: Stop! I'm not going anywhere. Especially the girl! One of you is going to disconnect the caboose, and let us go!

Lucario: Yeah, as if we'll let that happen.

Blaziken: Even if we did, we have a Flame Charge user to chase you down. So you have no escape option!

Chestnaught: Fine. If I can't have her, NO ONE CAN.

Chestnaught picked up Roserade and threw over the side.

Roserade panicked only for someone to bite down on the gras cape on her back.

Roserade looked behind her and saw it was Zebstrika who caught her.

Lucario and Blaziken approached Chestnaught.

Chesnaught: Spiky Shield!

Chestnaught formed his signature move and laughed.

Chestnaught: Careful, any physical attack and you guys get hurt!

Lucario and Blaziken ignored him as they charged with Ice Punch and Blaze Kick.

They both struck Spiky Shield and endured the pain where they struck it again and broke through.

Chestnaught: WHAT?! How did you two do it?!

Blaziken kicked Chestnaught upward as he unleashed a barrage of Blaze Kicks where he slammed a kick down on top of Chestnaught and sent him falling down to Lucario who pummeled the Spiny Armor Pokemon with a barrage of Ice Punches.

Blaziken then did a drop kick down as Lucario performed an uppercut where the two attacks crushed Chestnaught's head in between the two.

Chestnaught collapsed in pain as he was finally defeated.

Lucario: Now that was Super.

Roserade was safely back on the train as she saw what happened.

Blaziken: Another win for the Super Stars!

Roserade: Wait. Super Stars? That's the best guild team in the entire world!

Zebstrika: So our reputation is known.

Roserade: No wonder I lost. You guys…. You guys are way above me.

Zebstrika: Come on now.

Zebstrika looked Roserade in the eyes.

Zebstrika: That fight is in the past. You want to join a Rescuers Guild right? So why not tag along with us?

Zebstrika just smiled as Roserade blushed.

Time went by fast as the third day was already here as the train finally made it to the station.

Chestnaught and his cronies were arrested on the spot as all the passengers were attended too.

Lucario: Come on now. Home is this way!

Lucario led the group to their town as well as the Rescuers Guild, Harmony Wing.

Lucario: (Mom. Wherever you are, I can't wait to introduce you to the friends I made.)
