Should We Climb It - Ch 2
" So this is what it's like inside...interesting," said Naruto while standing on an oddly formed rock and staring over at the long yellow-colored grass he could see that many of the other regulars were already there he could even see Baam clenching the sword Yuri lant him
" you were right Kit this place is a lot more interesting than we first thought," told Kurama with their mind link
Naruto just smirked " Well if you want I can let you out it seems like there are different types of creates " and he was right he could see many things a giant with lots of eyes, a giant crocodile holding a red spear, a green girl with a tail holding a long green sword that hed same three eyes as Yuri's sword...he should probably keep an eye on her
" No I can sense them and only a few of them have the power to not pass out after seeing me so not now," told Kurama and Naruto just shrugged his shoulders Kurama was right after all he could also sense them and he could confidentiality say only a few of them were strong others were nothing more than dust he would have helped them if they didn't have such a dark souls
He then saw a cube-like thing floating in the middle of the sky and it started to say " Dear regulars there will be two tests on this floor first is elimination you will have to kill each other or hide to survive but remember if you don't kill the next test will be harder to complete so when the timer starts the test will begin "
" that thing is only made from spiritual energy I wonder if I will be able to make it," Naruto said to himself while looking at the cube he didn't care about the test he knew that no one was stronger than him on this floor
" the test will start in 5...4...3...2... " The cube was counting down and everyone except Baam seemed ready when the cube said the final number all hell broke loose " ...1 " Everyone started to kill each other he noticed that there were few people who were doing better than others the green girl, the alligator, blue-hired boy holding a school bag, a black-haired boy with samurai clothes and two swords and a girl wearing all black clothes even covering her face holding some kind of iron stuff he then saw a boy cowered in blanket just laying and sleeping not caring at all
" I should probably lie down too there is no need to worry about Baam it seems like the Blue hired boy is helping him," Naruto said to himself while watching the two boys running from the alligator
" but first I probably should take out that pesky shutter," he said while looking at the boy on a rock with a sniper shutting at others he then took out one of his shuriken that he always carried on him and shot at him the shuriken embedded between the boy's forehead killing him instantly and after that he just lay down on one of his arm and watched others fight
" oh cool, the samurai boy and green girl are fighting, and is that boy trying to get between them? " he asked himself while looking at the brown-haired boy wearing a purple tracksuit no he probably just ended up with them
He then saw Baam and a blue-haired were talking to the giant alligator who seemed pissed " I wonder why he seems so angry "
" you can come out now," he said while still looking at the trio he then heard someone sit next to him and that's when he looked at the person it was the woman with all black clothes " ...Naruto you? " he told her but she didn't say anything " oh okay then I will just call you black " and continued to watch Baam and blue-haired boy fight the alligator
- ten minutes later -
" dear regulars the first test is over " came out the announcement stopping those who were fighting "The next test will be to find suitable partners there have to at least be three people touching each other until the time is over or you won't pass to next stage, there will be only five minutes to find suitable partners "
" So that means we are partners right? if you don't mind there is a boy over there so it will be easier if we also partner up with him " asked Naruto while pointing over to still sleeping boy the girl didn't say anything she only nodded her head and started to go over to the sleeping boy
" he doesn't seem that he will wake up any time soon so let's just do this, " Naruto told her and set on top of the boy's body the girl still didn't say anything but followed the blond's example and set down on the boy, he didn't seem like he cared though if the boy's snores were anything to go by
" So we just have to wait a few more minutes and that's it right " asked Naruto while looking at the girl who merely nodded in agreement
" So do you know how to make those things " Naruto asked the girl once more and she nodded in agreement
" grate do you think you can teach me " he asked and smiled when the girl didn't reply for a moment but still nodded her head " Great I think you and I will be great friends," told Naruto then he heard another announcement
" dear regulars the second test is over those who were able to succeed in getting a partner will be transported to the next floor and those who weren't able to succeed will be disqualified " As the announcement was made people started to disappear
- two minutes later -
Naruto and his team appeared the same way they were before Naruto and the girl in all black sitting on the sleeping boy with others appeared in a big room with white and yellow walls
" We should probably get up now I want to meet a friend of mine if you don't mind, " Naruto told his partner while standing up his partner just did as she was told and got up from the still-sleeping boy
Naruto took the sleeping boy off of the floor and put him on his shoulder like a bug of potato he then looked around the room and smiled when he found the black-haired boy " There he is we should go and say hi " As he said that he started to walk over to the black-haired boy while his partner just followed him
The black-haired boy was Baam and he was talking to his newly made teammates blue-haired boy and the giant alligator who didn't seem pleased then they heard Baams name called out and when they looked over to who was calling him they saw a yellow-haired boy carrying a boy with blankets and a girl cowered in all black
Baam smiled when he saw the blond and started to go over to them while his teammates followed in interest " Mister Naruto you are here, are this person your partners " he asked with a smile
" yep they are, I was watching you on the last test you did great," said Naruto while smiling he then looked at others standing beside Baam " I presume these people are your teammates mind introducing them "
Baam looked embarrassed it seemed like he had forgotten about them when he saw Naruto "Haha sorry I will this is... "
The blue-haired boy interrupted him and introduced himself " Hello my name is Khun Aguero Agnispleased to meet you, you can just call me Khun "
" And I am the great Rak Wraithraiser king of beasts," said the giant alligator while flexing his chest in pride
Naruto smiled and looked at Baam " You teamed up with some interesting people
" Baam just started chuckling while scratching
" This is quite interesting, there are more of you than I thought would pass " came a voice of course Naruto already knew where it came from the speaker was strongest in the room after all so he could sense him
When everyone looked where the voice came from they saw a blond man wearing a black-white costume the man had a black mark under one of his eyes and he was smiling " Hello my name is Lero-RoI am an examiner who judges if you are ready to continue climbing the tower "
" examiner...that means he is a ranker," said Khun with nerved eyes
" Well anyways it seems too many people passed the last test so I decided that there will be a bonus one " now named examiner said with a cheerful smile not caring that his words caused an uproar of protest
" Now-now calm down I will explain the rules of the final test, I am going to perform one of my techniques and you must try to resist " As he said that Blue Ora came out of him and pushed back everyone except Baam, Naruto, and his teammates because Naruto was holding on to them but no one saw that not even the ranker who was continuing the explanation
Baam called out not sure if the wave of energy just missed Them " Umm excuse me I think you missed us " he got the attention of the man who looked at him and Naruto with a questioning look
" we can go back if you want," said Baam it seemed like he was worried that he had done something wrong but the blonde-haired man just shook his head in denial
" don't worry it was my mistake, and luck is also a skill so you should come here and watch with me," said the blonde looking at them
Another side of the barrier only a few people thought that it was strange and one of them was Khun who was thinking to himself "Why didn't they get pushed back? we were standing together but they didn't and we did... "
