Hey guys I am going to take a break for July. I'll be back in August.

As always, I do not own My Hero Acadamia

Izuku was very uncomfortable in his new school uniform, but it was required to go into UA. He loosened the tie on his neck, like a noose around his neck. Then, Izuku thought it looked stupid, so he unbuttoned the top button. His hair was a mess, but he didn't really care at this point. He came outside of his house, where Momo was waiting for him. She looked at him with confusion written all over her sharp features. She stopped him, buttoned his shirt, and finished with his noose-like tie. "This thing is awful," Izuku said, playing with his tie as they walked to UA. Momo chuckled a little bit.

"You're not used to wearing ties," she concluded.

"That's an understatement," he said.

"How has the past month been?" Momo asked. He rolled his eyes.

"Exhausting, but now I have the power," he said. "I'm sorry we couldn't get to know each other a bit more."

"If you feel bad, then invite me to dinner," she teased. Izuku took a deep breath and debated with himself.

"Let's just get through today," he grabbed her arm and leaned in close so that only she could hear. "How are you doing?" Her face fell as she remembered what her father was being accused of. Momo grabbed onto him; she wanted stability.

"I… I hate it," Momo said softly. Izuku's features softened, and he hugged her. It felt odd to Izuku; he had never experienced love from anyone other than his mother, but she seemed to need it. She felt safe. "We should get going." He nodded. They walked until they were right outside of UA. Izuku thought it looked bigger in person than in a photo. "Wow, this place is huge," Momo said. Izuku laughed.

"I was just thinking the same thing," he said. "Oh, right. Do you want everyone else to know about us?"

"Not just yet," she said. Izuku nodded and let her go in first. Then he went in but tripped on the stairs. He threw his arms before himself to cushion the fall and closed his eyes. He was expecting a loud thump! But it never came. He opened his eyes, and he was floating.

"Sorry, I used my quirk on you," someone said. Izuku looked up and saw a girl wearing a bob cut. She smiled at him and put him back on the ground. "I'm Ochako Uraraka. It's nice to meet you."

"Izuku Midoriya, the pleasure is mine," he said, moving his hand toward her. She took it and shook his hand. They talked as they walked into UA. Izuku knew where he was headed but enjoyed talking to Uraraka. Luckily, they were headed in the same direction, to the UA field. Momo saw them smiling and laughing and felt jealous. Izuku spotted her and couldn't pinpoint her emotion, so he just smiled and waved. He went over to her and introduced himself.

"You know we can still act like we know each other," she whispered to him.

"It's just easier," he whispered back.

"Enough," someone said. Izuku and Momo turned around. He had long, tangled black hair that looked like he hadn't slept in days, and he had this white, old, and raggedy scarf on. Izuku knew who this was.

"Mr. Aizawa," Izuku said. "Aka Eraserhead."

"It seems like someone did their homework," Aizawa said. "Izuku Midoriya, the late bloomer who just awakened his power and the one person that is exempt." Momo nearly burst out laughing at how ironic the whole thing was. Aizawa looked at Momo with confusion. "Aah, yes, if it isn't, Momo. Ms. Trust fund." Momo blushed from all the attention that was suddenly upon her. Aizawa continued down the line, saying people's names. "Finally, Katsuki Bakugo."

Izuku's hair stood on the back of his neck. He stared at his feet and gripped his hand so hard his nails dug into his skin. All his muscles got slightly bigger, but it was impossible to notice unless you were already watching him. He kept a straight face, but he had a lot of thoughts swirling throughout his mind. The thoughts were moving so fast that it was hard for Izuku to breathe. That's when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked over his shoulder to see who it was. It was Momo, with concern in her eyes. Izuku calmed down after that, but he would not forget what happened or forgive what happened.

"All of you will be fighting for a place here," Aizawa continued, and his eyes glided over to Izuku. And then, the instructors and the other students will put you to the test. Remember, steel sharpens steel." The students nodded. "Now, then, the first up will be Momo Yaoyorozu. Start with a swim and then defeat the robot." Momo is as elegant as ever in the swimming portion of the test, but she falls a lot during the fighting portion of her test, still as graceful as ever. Izuku kept himself from breaking into a little chuckle, but he kept himself composed. Then, the next person went, and the person after that.

Each one, all although better than the last, Izuku knew he could take everyone, even without his new quirk. The only one he would have trouble with was Shoto Todoroki. Todoroki was interesting because he had the quirk of half cold, half hot, indicating to Izuku that there were a couple of different ways to defeat him. He knew one thing: he would be a dangerous opponent early in the fight; late in the fight, however, he would either be too exhausted or too damaged by his own quirk. Izuku had little room to speak in that department; every time he used his quirk, the bone that used it would break. He was trying to figure out how to either make the force of the backlash less or how to transmute it throughout his body instead of on one bone. Izuku kept this up by going down the list.

Then, there was Katsuki Bakougo. The worst person here had an explosion quirk, where his sweat turned into a nitroglycerine-like substance. The most interesting, however, was Izuku's bride-to-be. Creation was an interesting quirk. Of course, she didn't know how to use it properly yet.

"Midoriya, come see me after the tests are over,'' Aizawa said. After all the students had finished the tests and returned home, Izuku, with Momo in toe, began looking for Aizawa. They found him in the teacher's lounge. "Midoriya, I was wondering why someone would sponsor you. So, if you don't mind, could I see you do the same test as your fiance?" Izuku blushed as he nodded, whereas Momo was blushing up a storm.

"How did you know we are engaged?" Momo asked while Izuku was getting ready.

"All-Might had to disclose that with me as he asked for Mr. Midoriya's exemption," Aizawa explained. Momo understood. Izuku was prepared. "Whenever you are ready, Mr. Midoriya." Izuku took off immediately. He didn't use his quirk until the robot, but he made good time, and he destroyed the robot with a one-finger flick. Even Aizawa, who looked bored during the regular tests, looked impressed, but the backlash broke Izuku's finger.

"Damn it!" He thought. "I need to train myself to handle the backlash." Aizawa looked at the finger Izuku used to turn that robot into a pile of rubble. Aizawa grabbed the wrist of the right hand to look at the injury closer.

"So, I'm guessing that's why you're here?" Aizawa continued. "To try to learn about this quirk and overcome its drawbacks?" Izuku nodded, and Aizawa let his hand go. "Follow me." Izuku and Momo followed Aizawa until they reached an older woman. "Recovery Girl, meet Izuku Midoryia and his girlfriend, Momo Yaoyorozu." They both said hi in unison. Recovery Girl just nodded as she looked them both over. She noticed his finger and got a confused look.

"What did this?" Recovery Girl asked.

"Well, when I use my quirk-" Izuku got hit in the head by a cane. "What was that for?"

"I have a feeling I will be seeing a lot of you," Recovery Girl said as she kissed Izuku's finger. He instantly healed.

"Recovery," Izuku said to Momo. "The ability to heal anything other than death and severe illness." Momo nodded along.

"So, that is the end of your test," Aizawa said. "I'll be waiting for you two tomorrow." After that, they said goodbye and left the nurse's office. Izuku and Momo barely made it outside when Bakuguo approached them. He blasted the space in between Momo and Izuku. Izuku turned around and moved Momo behind him. He gritted his teeth.

"What do you want?" Izuku sounded calm and collected, but inside, he was nearly at his breaking point. He was about to reveal why he was called The Demon's Head.

"What are you doing, Shitty Deku!" Katsuki said with a sweaty palm. "How did you get here?"

"None of your business," Izuku firmly said. "Leave us alone."

"Hah, as if," Katsuki taunted. "I will make you remember why I call you Deku!" Katsuki came at them but stopped suddenly.

"Final warning," Izuku's eyes seemed to glow as lightning appeared around him. It was hard for even Momo to calm him down. He took a step towards Katsuki, and Katsuki froze. He felt as if an icy claw had him within its grasp. A million thoughts were running through Bakugo, but one of the most prominent questions was: Did he really awaken his power late? Bakugotook a step back, scared. "Leave us alone." Bakugonodded and left without another word.

Izuku released his pressure, and his eyes stopped glowing. He turned around. "I'm sorry you had to see that," Izuku told Momo. He wasn't looking at Momo when he felt two hands cup his face.

"Hey, remember that I'm your fiance, even if it is just in name," Momo said. "Still, I want to know what happened, but it doesn't have to be right now." Izuku moved her hands and nodded.

"I will, but not yet," he said. He began walking with Momo on his toe. He took a deep breath. He walked back to her house and said goodbye. Then, he traveled to Inko's place. "Hey, Mom, I'm home."

"Izuku, sweetie," Inko said while running around the kitchen. "How was the first day?" She grabbed two bowls and started putting in the katsudon.

"Parts of it were good, but…" Izuku trailed off, unsure about how to continue. "Katsuki was there." A chill ran up his spine as he heard Bakugo's name come from his own mouth. He was reliving that horrid memory. He was broken and scared from that moment. All his limbs were burnt, he had a busted-up lip, and both eyes were swollen shut. He still remembered those nightmarish sirens again. He remembered his mom being there for him but did not want to talk. He remembered all the shrinks he had gone to because he began acting out. Izuku remembered the things people would say to excuse Bakugo's actions. He remembered Bakugo was praised for the incident. Izuku took a deep breath but didn't want his mother to worry.

"Oh! That's nice!" Inko said, not knowing the whole story. "We got some Katsdon."

"My favorite," he said. Inko put down both bowls and started asking specifics about his day.

"So you and Momo have surely gotten close," she said. "How is that going?" Izuku laughed.

"Again, we are just fiances in name only," he said while smiling. "We will break it off as soon as she finds someone she likes." Inko admired her son, the boy she saw in the hospital where he wouldn't speak to this great man. "What is it?"

"Nothing," Inko said.

Izuku was having another nightmare, the third one tonight. He looked over at his alarm clock and had to get up in about 3 hours. He got up and snuck his way past his mom's room. He went to work wearing his mask. "What do we have?" He asked.

"Nothing yet, Boss," one of his subordinates said. "But Kai Chisaki is in your office."

"This early?" Izuku question.

"He said it was important," he said. Izuku nodded and headed towards his office. He smirked a little as he went towards his office. The big bad Overhaul is coming to him for a favor. He opened the door to his office. "Kai."

"The Demon Head," Overhaul said. "I'm still finding it hard to believe that a sixteen-year-old is doing something my father couldn't even dream of."

"Thank you. How is your old man?" Izuku asked.

"He's been good," Overhaul replied. "Recently, he got sick, but he should be fine."

"Ok, enough with the small talk," Izuku continued. "Why are you here?"

"I need your help," Overhaul said.

"Stop, don't say another word," Izuku firmly told him. "I can't help you."

"I understand," Overhaul said as he got up. "Have a nice day." He left.

Izuku shook his head. Kai was horrible at ideas. His last idea involved a school bus as a hostage. Izuku called one of his subordinates to follow him. Izuku checked the time and went to his place to shower and change. Once he was out of the shower, he still had wet hair, and the doorbell rang. He groaned internally, changed really fast, and then went to the door. He opened the door, and it was Momo. "What's up?" He moved so she could come in.

"I thought we could walk together," she said.

"I thought we were keeping us a secret?"

"We are, but only at school," she replied. "Unless you don't want to?"

"No, I'm coming with you," Izuku said. "Let me just dry my hair." He went upstairs and grabbed a towel. He started drying off his hair as he came down. "How did you find this place?"

"Well, your mom told me," she explained. He nodded in understanding.

"How'd that go?" he asked. Momo nodded and smiled.

"Interesting," she said. She left things off like that, leaving Izuku desiring more.

Once Izuku was done, he turned to her and made a gesture towards the door. Momo nodded and walked out. He followed her out the door and put his arm out for her to grab. "My lady, it would be my pleasure to assist you," he said overdramatically. She rolled her eyes but took his outstretched arm.

"I can't believe how close we are this close after only a month," Momo said. "Why are you at your place? I thought you would have slept over at your mom's?"

"I had things to do at my work," Izuku said. Momo nodded as she pulled him. They kept talking to UA. It came a bit quicker than Momo would have liked. She stopped and gave his hand a little squeeze. "So, are you sure about me?"

"Honestly, I wasn't at first," Momo whispered. "But you make me feel comfortable. Something I haven't had in years. We'll get through whatever it is together." Izuku nodded. She let go of his hand and walked into the UA building. Izuku waited a couple of minutes and then went in. He went over to class 1-A. With something written on the board that said: introduce yourselves.

"I'm Yuga Aoyama," the pretty boy, whom Izuku was pretty sure was French, said. Then Yuga sat down, and the pink-skinned girl came up.

"I'm Mina Ashido; I hope to be friends with all of you!" she said. She sat down, and next was the one with a frog quirk.

"Tsuyu Asui, nice to meet you," she sat down, and so on.

"Ok, now what?" Kirishima said.

"Shut up, shitty hair!" Bakugo screamed.

"Enough," Aizawa walked inside with four others. "These will be your teachers, Toshinori Yagi, Ken Ishiyama, Hizashi Yamada, and Ectoplasm." He pointed to the ones to his left. "But today, you will each have a chance to make a hero costume." Everyone looked excited or intrigued. "And your hero name is due by tomorrow."

They all got to work. Meanwhile, Izuku went to Toshinori Yagi. "I'm having some trouble with this assignment. Do you mind helping me?" Izuku asked.

"Of course, young Midoriya," Toshinori Yagi said. He followed Izuku into a room where no one was. "I'm guessing you know my identity?"

"Yeah, I do," Izuku continued. "But I have some questions All-Might."

"Go ahead and ask them."

"Why did you exempt me from the exam?"

"You would have hurt yourself, and the principal, Nezu, knows about one-for-all."

"Oh great, who else did you tell?"

"No one."

"Alright, and thank you."

"For what?"

"For helping me convince my mother."

"You are quite welcome; it was my pleasure to convince your mother."

"That's it," Izuku said. He turned around and walked to the door. "You used to be my favorite hero."

"Why am I not anymore?" Toshinori asked.

"I don't believe that is the way anymore," Izuku continued. "It's better to put the criminals down like rabid dogs than let them live in prison. At least violent offenders."

"Why do you think that?" Toshinori asked, trying to understand Izuku's viewpoint. "I thought you were a person that would fight for justice."

"I am," Izuku turned to face Toshinori. I've been the head of my organization for about six months. I have stopped ninety percent of criminals. Can you say the same?"

"While, yes, that is an impressive number," Toshinori argued. "What we, heroes, give the people is hope. Not fear, which is what you give them."

"Then, why give me the insane power of one-for-all?" Izuku questioned.

"Because I needed to," Toshinori answered.

"What?" Izuku asked, genuinely confused.

"Never mind that," Toshinori said. "But you have to be willing to sacrifice yourself for the sake of others, and you have the heart of a true hero." Izuku shook his head and left the room.

Izuku came back to 1-A. Sadly, it was total chaos. There was a chair thrown across the room when he entered. He sighed and went to his seat. This would be hectic, to say the least. "Izuku?" He looked up at Momo, who was looking at him worried. "What's wrong?" He wanted to tell her but couldn't, at least not be here.

"I'll tell you at my house," he said. The chaos started to die off as more and more people got interested in how they were talking.

"Why can't you tell me here?" Momo asked. Izuku looked her in the eye, sighed, and got really close.

"Because it involves my quirk," he whispered into her ear. The whisper made her shiver. She nodded and went back to her seat. Izuku looked out the window as he began to design his hero costume in his mind. For some reason, he thought of a green bunny. He started laughing and thought it was so funny but couldn't quite get the idea out of his head. He put it down as a place marker. He had much on his mind but focused on finding a name. When he got a call from his right-hand man, he rolled his eyes and declined the call. Shoto Aizawa looked at the clock.

"Everyone that finished their hero costumes, go to your next class," Aizawa said.

Izuku was waiting for Momo when a little light caught his eye. He turned the way it came from and couldn't see anything. He huffed but didn't follow. "What's wrong?" Momo asked.

"I don't know," Izuku said. "But I'll figure it out. Anyway, where do you want to go for dinner?"

"What?" Momo was confused as she started walking.

"Yesterday, you said we should go out," he explained. "So pick a place, and we'll go." She smiled at this and started bouncing up and down slightly. Izuku found it extremely cute.

"I need to find a proper dress," Momo went into her own little world. "Ooh, what place should we go to? I kind of want to go somewhere fancy, but I also want to put too much pressure on our first date." Izuku thought she was adorable.

"Let's go to your place and discuss," Izuku said. "But first, I have some things to take care of." Izuku walked Momo back to her place and went to his Yakuza. "What do we have?" He asked his right-hand man.

"Head, we have someone looking to join," Izuku's right hand said. Izuku looked at him with contempt. "He said his name is Tomura Shigaraki." Izuku had heard of that name before but couldn't quite place it. The right-hand man gave him a file.

"Bring him in," he said while putting on the mask.
