(Abigail's POV)
*It was the second day of the tournament & things were off to a very funny start. This round was Nack versus Bean. Right now, Nack was running away from Bean, who was throwing bombs at him*
Nack: Dang it, Bean! Knock it off!
*Sonic, Huck, & I laughed as we watched*
Sonic: I gotta give Breezie props for this round! This is hilarious!
Abigail: Too funny!
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao!
Tails: I should've been down there. I could take either of them . . .
*Sonic wiped away a tear as he looked at him*
Sonic: Oh, come on, bro. Are you still mad about being bumped by Honey?
Tails: Yes!
Sonic: Why? Win or lose, that's one stop closer to the Chaos Emerald.
Tails: Because she made me look like an amateur in front of whole world.
*All three of us looked at him with worry. Sonic put an arm around his shoulder*
Sonic: All right, all right, that was embarrassing. But everyone knows knows that you're my go-to guy. What's one fight compared to all the times we've kicked Eggman's butt. "Tails, the kid who keeps Sonic running!" "Tails, the hero who saved Station Square!" Tails, the guy who took one for the team and didn't mope about it all day.
Abigail: And besides, win or lose, you're still one of the Freedom Fighters.
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.
Tails: Yeah, yeah. I get it already. Thanks guys. I just feel like I've gotta prove myself sometimes. You guys are a tough act to follow.
Sonic: Yeah, well, I can count on you to follow and watch my back.
Abigail: We all can.
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.
Sonic: Now let's get back to too Eggman's two stooges!
*Bean dodged Nack's gunshots with multiple back-flips*
Nack: I'm head of this gang! I'm ordering you to take a dive for me!
*Bean gracefully landed on his feet after he kicked Nack in the face*
Bean: Wait . . . What event is this? Heyyy . . . That plumber lied to me!
Nack: "You can use your blaster this round," Breezie said. "Special conditions just for you," she said. "We're all friends of Eggman," she said! That lying back-stabbing! She set me up!
*He used his tail to get ready for an attack*
Bean: Nyyrrrrow! Look! I'm an airplane! I'm - *suddenly, Nack launched himself towards Bean, kicking him in the face* Ow! That was awesome! Let's - !
Nack: You're unconscious now!
Bean: Okay! Bleh!
*He was out cold. Or at least pretending to be*
Wes Weasley:*off-screen* And the winner by a knock-out, Nack!
Sonic: Yo, Es! Satisfied that Bean got bumped?
Espio: Not especially.
*Tails looked at the roster for the next match*
Tails: Uh-oh . . . This says Amy's match with Knuckles is next.
Abigail: Oh boy.
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao . . .
Sonic: You managed to sneak Knux and Julie-Su into the roster, but you couldn't get Vector, Charmy, or Saffron in?
Espio: I snuck Knuckles and Julie-Su in when I found out they were already in the area. I didn't know if it would work. To be honest, the change should have been caught. And Breezie putting the Hooligans against each other . . .?
Sonic: You're saying she's messing with brackets?
Abigail: That does sound like something she'd do.
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.
Espio: Right. Plus we know Eggman is involved. Do not let your guard down. There's no telling what Breezie might do next to make things more . . . "Entertaining."
*Soon, it was time for Amy's match against Knuckles. Julie-Su sat in the audience with us, a little mad that she let herself be tricked by Nack*
Knuckles: Hey, Amy. Kind of a bleak setting, huh?
Amy: I guess it's to set the mood? Anyway, good luck! Don't go easy on me!
*The two of them got into position.
Referee: Fight!
*Amy looked ready at first, but then she started to look distracted. Then Knuckles jumped high into the air*
Abigail: Amy! Watch out!
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao!
*She immediately snapped out of it when she heard me, but it was too late. Knuckles punched into the ground hard, breaking apart the ring & sending Amy flying into the stands. Me, Huck, Sonic, Tails, & Julie-Su all turned to him with glares*
Knuckles: I . . . I thought we were fighting . . .?
*Me, Huck, Sonic Tails went to see Amy in the infirmary. Luckily, all she had was a bump on her head. So I decided to let it heal on it's own*
Sonic: How are you feeling, Slugger?
Amy: Annoyed. I shouldn't have lost that easily.
Tails: Welcome to the club.
Abigail: Well, hopefully, this will serve as a lesson to keep your head in the game during a fight.
*Huck nodded*
Huckleberry: Chao. Chao.
Amy: Yes, ma'am.
*Then Sonic took her hand, making her blush*
Sonic: Seriously though. Are you okay?
Amy: Y - Yeah. The only real wound is to my pride. Just promise me that you'll get to the final round and kick Knuckles' butt.
Sonic: From here to Angel Island and back! But before tangling with ol' Knucklehead, I've gotta deal with Honey!
Tails: Avenge me!
Abigail: This oughta be interesting.
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.
*Later, Sonic & Honey met in the ring*
Sonic: Ready to rumble, lady?
Honey: Ready to win?
Sonic: You're giving up?
Honey: Listen, I don't think I realized how serious this was at the start. Eggman sending in mercenaries? Breezie obviously manipulating the family fights? I came here for self-promotion. You came here to save the world! You need to be in that final round. You need to win that Emerald.
Sonic: Thanks. But we still have to give the people a show, right?
Honey: Oh . . . Absolutely!
*With that said, she judo flipped him over her shoulders. Then she went for a kick, but Sonic rolled to dodge it. Then he went into a spin dash, but she dodged that. Then they kicked at each other, blocking each other's attacks. Honey went in for multiple punches, but Sonic dodged all of them. While they fought, commercials were playing*
Wes Weasley: Chao Cola! Run Faster! Swim Farther!
*Sonic tried a punch himself, but Honey moved really fast to dodge. Then she was going in circles around him*
Sonic: You pulled that trick on Tails . . .
*Suddenly, he grabbed her by her wings & threw her out of the ring*
Honey: That was so cool!
Wes Weasley:*off-screen* Chao Boom! New episodes every Saturday 6:00! BreezTV! *Soon, it was the next match. Which was Knuckles versus Nack*
Wes Weasley:*off-screen* Fight!
Nack: You sure you want to do this? You might screw it up. Like everything else! *he started jumping around Knuckles in a circle* Way to knock your friend out of the arena! Thought you were here to help? You just made my job easier! *he hit Knuckles in the head* And how 'bout that Master Emerald, huh? You can't keep it together, can you? In more ways that one. HA! Wassamatter? Gonna cry? Ashamed you're such a failure? Just walk on our of the ring. I'll find those Master Emerald shards for ya! *he started hitting Knuckles in the face with his tail* Yo! Hello? Did I break you entirely or - ?
*Just then, Knuckles grabbed him by the tail*
Knuckles: Just waiting for you to hold still for a second. *he bashed Nack around for a bit & then threw him out of the ring & into the audience* And that's for Julie-Su!
*We all cheered*
*Later, it was timed for finals, which was Sonic versus Knuckles. They met in the ring, which didn't have any special background to it*
Sonic: No fancy setting this time? I guess Breezie doesn't want any distractions from the main event.
Knuckles: Then we'd better put on a show. Try to last more than one round, okay?
Sonic: How many times have I kicked your butt? Three? Four!
Knuckles: Aw, now I feel bad. I must've beaten you up so bad in the past, you've become delusional! *they charged at each other* Bring back memories?
Sonic: HA! Yeah! Kicking your butt for Chaos Emeralds never gets old!
Knuckles: You mean trying to kick my butt. Just like you're trying to win this championship!
Sonic: Yeah, gimme another minute. Y'know, thinking about this whole tourney, I never stopped to consider how Breezie got that Emerald for the prize . . .
Knuckles: Hey! We're fighting here! Take this seriously!
Sonic: What are you and Julie-Su even doing here? If it finally get too peaceful on your little slice of heaven?
Knuckles: Julie-Su and I are hunting down the shards of the Master Emerald! The energy of the prize Emerald drew us here. While I found one -
Sonic: Wait. Again? What happened?
Knuckles: Shadow was hunting some alien . . . Argh! . . . I'll tell you later!
*I turned to Julie-Su in surprise*
Abigail: Seriously?
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao?
Julie-Su: Yep.
Sonic: So Angel Island is . . .
Knuckles: Floating. Just like the rest of the wrecked planet.
Sonic: So if we fix the world, island falls. Dude, do you want me to throw the fight so you can hurry up and get back to searching?
Knuckles: Don't you dare! We'll worry about plans and Emeralda and everything later. But right now, you're gonna give me a decent fight!
Sonic: Need to blow off some steam, huh? Sounds good! Let's rumble!
*All of us were on the edge of our seats as we continued to watch them fight. Suddenly, all the lights went out & everything started to shake. People started to panic*
Knuckles: Uh . . . Is this part of the show?
Sonic; I don't think so, Chuckles.
*Just then, Metal Sonic came crashing through the wall of the arena & flew off past us. We all ran after it & tried to stop it as it was flying out with the Chaos Emerald. Sonic hit it with spin dash*
Sonic: Nope!
*I swung at it with my hook swords & Huck tried to kick it, but we both missed. Knuckles threw a punch, Julie-Su fired a laser blast, Amy swung her hammer, Espio threw a shuriken at it, & Honey flew in for an attack, but we all missed. Metal Sonic made it up to the roof, but was stopped by Tails, who managed to take the Chaos Emerald from it*
Tails: Nice try! And if my math is right, the Casino's generator should kick in right about . . . Now!
*Suddenly, an alarm went off & turrets aimed at Metal Sonic*
Sonic: So . . . Are we gonna do this? I mean, fight on the rooftop where you take us, and four other professional butt-kickers . . . While also dealing with Breezie's security forces?
Abigail: You're choice, Bucket Head.
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao!
*Metal Sonic looked ready to fight, but soon flew away. Sonic held up Tails' hand like he was an announcer*
Sonic: And the winner, buy making Metal Sonic look like a total chump, MILES "THE TURBO TWIN-TAILED GENIUS" PROWERRRRRR!
*I gave Tails a hug*
Abigail: Awesome job, you little genius!
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao!
*I kissed his cheek, making him blush*
*Later, we were all getting ready to leave in the Tails' flying car. Sonic was trying to convince Knuckles & Julie-Su to come with us*
Sonic: Dude. Come on!
Knuckles: I dunno . . .
Sonic: Come back with us! I'm sure there's something on the Sky Patrol that can help you out!
Julie-Su: He's got a point. We could use the extra help.
Knuckles: Well . . . We do have a couple of things to drop off for you guys . . .
*That left us confused*
?:*off-screen* Sorry I'm late!
*We all turned & saw a small burgundy & white chihuahua-like creature with green wings & wearing a collar with a green gem was flying towards us, carrying a bag of food*
Chip: I *GRK* just need to *HRMP* get my to-go bag!
Julie-Su: This is Chip. The Light Gaia. The spirit that's supposed to fix the world.
Abigail: Seriously?
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao?
Sonic: Awesome! Glad to meet you.
Chip: You must be Sonic? You were so cool! Waay stronger than Knuckles said you'd be! *Sonic gave Knuckles a glare, who just grinned back. Julie-Su & I rolled our eyes. then we all got in the car & flew away* Knuckles said you've been gathering the Chaos Emeralds?
Sonic: Yup. Counting the one we won today, we're up to four.
Chip: That's great!
Amy: And I've learned a magical technique that's helping us home in on the last Emeralds and Gaia Temples.
Chip: Yay! My mission doesn't feel impossible anymore! Are you guys always this awesome!? I mean, is there anything going wrong at this point?
*Suddenly, Sonic turned into his Werehog form, making Knuckles, Chip & Julie-Su jump back in shock*
Sonic: Um, so . . . I have this condition . . .
*Julie-Su gave me a confused look*
Abigail: Long story.
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.
