"Foolish child! First, I will destroy your mecha, then your entire fleet" Commander Gilder of the Snake Empire spoke, charging up his Final Beam Cannon.

"Do not underestimate me Commander Gilder, for I am Lieutenant Azura of the Good Witch battalion, warrior of peace. NOW EAT THIS SUCKA!" She roared, firing off her Final Sparking finishing move.

"NO! MY ONLY WEAKNESS: DYING!" Gilder roared, as his command mech was destroyed by Azura's finishing move...

"And that's the end," Amity said, holding up two mecha models.

"The end of what?" Her mother, Odalia Blight, said with venom.

"My, uh, my book report...mother," Amity said, her face falling when she saw how angry her mother was.

"Do you see what I have to deal with," Principal Bump asked, his face in his hands, "She is absolutely obsessed with this human drivel."

Odalia, with her signature imperious look, scoffed, "I can see that, Bump. Don't worry, I will take care of her. Amity, come."

"Yes, mother," she answered quietly, following her mother with her head down. She didn't know why she loved these human stories so much; she just did! The Adventures of Lieutenant Azura was one of the few things that gave her joy in her life, but of course she could never say that to her mother. She was a Blight, and a Blight never talks about their issues. A Blight keeps it inside, hidden from the world. A Blight was strong. Amity could hear her mother's voice every time she would 'instruct' Amity about what it meant to be a Blight. Sometimes...sometimes she wished she hadn't been born a Blight. Sometimes she wished she had never been born at all.

"Well, here we are, back home at the Manor," her mother spoke, rounding on Amity, "Now give me that stupid book."

Amity recoiled, "M-mother please-"

Odalia backhanded Amity across the face, following through with another slap on her other cheek, "Children do not talk back, Amity. Give. Me. The. Book."

Amity tried to keep her tears contained, knowing that if she didn't her mother would add on to her already long list of punishments for being called into the principal's office. She handed her book, her one saving grace in this hellhole of a life she lived in. Odalia had that horrible smirk on her face as she threw the book in the trash, "Now, get yourself prepared and meet me downstairs for your punishment. You made a fool out of our family, Amity, and you must reap the consequences."

Amity turned her face away, barely containing her tears anymore, "Yes Mother," she mumbled, as Odalia left laughing. After the front door closed, Amity collapsed, her tears flowing freely now.

"Hey Mittens, you ok?" A soft female voice spoke up.

"Yeah, you don't look so good," another voice spoke up.

Amity looked up to see her older siblings, Edric and Emira. She sobbed, throwing her arms around them. They held her tightly, not saying anything about the bright red handprints that adorned her cheeks. They knew who had caused it. As the three Blight siblings held each other, none of them noticed a mechanical drone, that looked almost like an owl, exiting the nearby forest and begin digging through their trash. As Amity finished crying, she looked up, seeing the drone going back into the forest with...HER AZURA BOOK!

"HEY! THAT'S MINE!" she shouted, chasing after the strange machine. Emira and Edric raced after her, trying to call out to her. As the three siblings ran, they came upon a dilapidated house of some kind. The drone flew through the open door, just as Amity and her siblings arrived. Amity ran into the house, with her siblings following. As they ran in, a flash of light lit up the dark, and the three Blight siblings were gone.

The three Blights felt like they were falling, until they weren't. Rising up from the ground, they looked around and knew they weren't in the Boiling Isles anymore. Metal walls surrounded them, with all kinds of strange instruments and various consoles around. What's more, the people at said consoles were all human!

"Close the portal," an older woman barked out an order, as the door they had just walked through collapsed. The three Blight siblings huddled together, looking around at the assembled humans. The lady who had given the order to close the portal walked up to the three siblings, her eyes taking in their features. A group of the humans had weapons drawn, but none of them were pointing at them...yet.

"So...I take it you three are witches? Care to answer a few questions?" She asked, her eyes never leaving them.

Emira pushed her younger siblings behind her for protection, glaring at the woman, "I don't know who you are, but leave my siblings alone human! I won't let you hurt them!"

The woman stared, then burst out laughing, "Wait, what? No, no, no, I'm not gonna hurt you guys. I literally have questions, like how the hell did you get here? How about this. I give you my name, then you give me yours, and we can all calm down and make nice, ok?"

Emira looked back at her siblings, nodding, "Ok, that sounds fine. My name is Emira Blight and these are my siblings, Edric and Amity."

The older woman smiled, "Well met, Blights! Name's Eda Clawthorne, captain of this ragtag crew, and resident ship mom."

The Blights blinked, Emira speaking up, "Um, forgive me for asking, but what does any of that mean?"

Eda laughed, "Follow me, witches! I'm gonna blow your mind!"

Author's note: Here we go, the start of a new adventure! Just a few things. First, everyone in this AU will be aged up to 16-18. I know 14-year-olds piloting mecha is a time-honored tradition, I figured making them older would be more believable. Second, Amity, Luz, and Willow will have their beta designs, as they are older in this Au. Third, I hope everyone enjoys this AU and will stick around for the future!
