Chapter 6
I wasn't busy really, I was fast in doing my homework. But sometimes it was dangerous to be around them.
Quite recently my powers have been acting up. Like it has become more powerful. And I need to let it out. So now here I am walking in the middle of the forest looking for a random place to blast some trees. Yea I know, I shouldn't be destroying the environment but is it better than murdering a bunch of people or someone you love, I don't think so.
I came to some random location and formed a red ball and blasted it at a near by tree. It felt good but takes a lot of energy. I blasted two or three trees and collapsed on to the ground. I heard my heart beating really loud. I slowly opened my eyes and stared at the sky. I didn't understand who or what I was or even what my powers can do or what did it want from me. I knew for a fact that my powers wanted to let out or something like that but was it dangerous? Would it help humanity or something?
I got up and let out a deep breath. My knees were wobbly. I need some rest. I heard some rapid footsteps approaching from far and it was not two legs, it was four. I immediately steadied my self and got out of there


Sam POV

The second I got an unfamiliar scent I began running, the scent wasn't a vampire for sure. It wasn't overly sugary sweet. This scent was almost human, it smelt nice but I knew that it wasn't an human. My paws stopped and I took in the sight before me. There were 3 broken trees laying on the ground, it wasn't cut or pulled out of the ground. It was blasted. The scent was still fresh. But then I got the scent of approaching vampires. So I ran back to the reservation to tell the elders about the new creature.

As soon as I got home, I puked whatever remained in my stomach. There were chunks. Ew.
What does my powers want from me?
I stared at the pills in my hand again. I took it for a while and then stopped but I started again, taking the sleeping pills when my powers increased. I didn't want to take the pills. But if it meant putting not only my freaky self but my powers to sleep as well, then I will. I swallowed the pills and crawled on to my bed and let darkness consume me

My eyelids felt heavy. Ugh why is it morning? I fluttered my eyes open. Something was different. Its clearer… there's no fog.
I approached my window and a smile made its way to my face. A fine layer of snow covered the yard. I grabbed my coat and darted downstairs although my muscles were screaming in pain.
The cruiser wasn't parked outside which meant Charlie had gone to work. Bella opened her window and stared down in horror, I giggled at the sight which caused her to look at me. She rolled her eyes and mouthed good morning to which I replied back. I went back inside, got dressed and had breakfast. I for some reason felt uneasy, I brushed it off and walked to Bella's truck. Charlie had put snow chains on Bella's truck. I wonder if she noticed?
Bella seemed excited and I knew for a fact that it wasn't about the weather. Bella drove slowly than usual, I guess she didn't notice the snow chains? Just as I was about to tell her, I found it was pointless… we were already at school.
"see you soon bella… have a nice day." I said to Bella who finally noticed the snow chains but just as I was about to leave. I just stopped. A signal ran through my body. A high pitched screech rang through the air. I immediately turned around and saw a van going to crash head on to Bella. Some sort of protective side came over me, I don't know if it's the adrenaline rush, I just blasted the truck sideways. Ok so I know that my powers weren't enough or I wasn't fast enough to push the truck away from Bella but I prayed and hopped that Bella didn't get crushed. What I wasn't expecting was the van to skid towards me and send me flying through the air. I felt my head collide with the cold icy ground. I felt wobbly but I slowly got up and thank god! I saw Bella shields by Edward. My vision became blurry. I felt pain in my head, I touched the back of my head and felt liquid. The smell of blood filled my nose. I heard people yell Bella s name, she was ok… then I heard an unexpected person call out my name.


Bella POV

Two white hands shot out protectively in front of me and the van came to a stop. It was absolutely silent until more than one person shouting my name. I could hear Edward Cullen's low frantic voice in my ear
"Bella? Are you alright?"
"Im fine" my voice sounded strange. I tried to get up but he was holding me in an iron grip.
"Be careful" he warned "I think you hit your head pretty hard"
"Ow" I said, surprised
"How in the world…" I trailed off, trying to clear my head, get my bearings. A look of pain flashed across his face. He released his hold around my waist and for up. His eyes frantically searching for someone or something.
"Daniella!" he screamed. Dani?!? I tried to get up. He got up and ran off somewhere. EMTs put me on a stretcher while I was still confused as to where Edward disappeared. Edward arrived with blood stained on his shirt and with a lifeless body in his hand. I recognized the girl to be Daniella, my neighbor, my friend.
"Dani!" I yelled. The loaded me to the back of the ambulance. It was maddening. To make matters worse, chief swan arrived before they could get me safely away.
"Bella!" he yelled in panic.
"Im completely fine, cha-Dad but" he turned to the closest EMT for a second opinion. There was a deep dent in the van… Edwards family looked from the distance with expressions that ranged from disapproval to fury but held no concern for their brothers safety.
They put me in the emergency ward. Tyler Crowley was brought to bed next to me. He looked a hundred times worst than I felt.
"Bella, I'm sorry!"
"I'm fine Tyler. You look awful, are you alright?" he ignored my question.
"I almost killed Daniella and you, I was going to fast and then I hit the wrong ice and my car skid to the wrong side hitting Daniella and you"
"Don't worry about it, you missed me" wait. Rewind.
"Wait. Where's Dani? Is she OK?!?"
"Is she sleeping?" a musical voice asked. Edward appeared at the foot of my bed. I glared at him because the traitor said that I probably have a concussion.
"Hey Edward, I'm really sorry" Tyler began. Edward lifted a hand to stop him.
"Its ok, no one died"
Then a doctor walked in and my mouth fell open. He was doctor Cullen.
He asked me about my head and I assured him that my head was fine.
"Well your father is in the waiting room… you can go home with him now."
"Wait" I said. "Hows Daniella?" he looked towards Edward and then started
"She is ok, thankfully but she has to stay in hospital for a few days, a week maybe. She has sustained a lot of injuries including 2 broken ribs and a broken leg." Oh no dani…
"Is someone going to stay with her?"
"Yes we contacted some of her family through her emergency contacts " that's good… wait. She doest have family!?!
"But she doesn't have family," I mumbled to myself, confused of all the events that took place today.
Edward and Carlisle shared a look almost as if they heard me.
"Can we visit her?" I asked
"Yes, soon as she gets rest" I nodded.
"Can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked Edward
A.n ( ok so y'all know what happens to the couple from here) poor dani :( anyways my updates will be slow cus of the current situation in srilanka. Ugh… but hope all of you are doing well and pls review!
