I don't own Naruto; Kishimoto does.

Title: Someone Else's Body*
Current Konoha Calendar*
Third Shinobi War (Aug 2, 117 – Apr 16, 119)
(Timeline: Just after the Third Shinobi War ends)
When I wake up, I feel an insane amount of pain in my head. Memories unrelated to my previous life start flooding in, and I pass out.
Half an hour later…
Kaito* Uhh, my head feels like a mess.
I experience the most excruciating pain of my entire life. It feels like a swarm of spiders is crawling and biting my mind.
From what I can gather, I'm in the Naruto world, and my new name is Yuta Kakabushi. The previous owner of this body was a war orphan. His parents died in the war with Iwa when he was seven years old. He is currently thirteen and a genin in Team 3 with two other genin and a jonin sensei. The previous owner had a decent talent in genjutsu.
--
Now, in the present time, I need to plan my survival in this world and figure out how to become a strong ninja, not just cannon fodder. I know this world was fanfiction to me moments ago, but now it's my reality, and I have to accept it. I made the choice to come to this world, and I have no regrets. But knowing what's going to happen makes it hard. Should I try to change events or just ignore them? Uhh, let's get some fresh air first.
--
I step outside of my house—or the previous body's house—and to my surprise, Konoha looks exactly like it did in the anime, but more realistic. For example, the Hokage statues are more detailed than in the anime. I can see the Hokage Tower from where I stand, even though it's far away, its red and wood-colored exterior standing out.
I decide to go to the most famous shop of all time, the ramen shop. The previous owner of this body often went there. As I walk through the village, I see the name "Ichiraku Ramen" and head towards the shop.
Ichiraku* Oh, Yuta! Did your training finish early?
I turn towards the voice and see Ichiraku, eyes closed, wearing his cooking attire, speaking to me.
Yuta* Ah, yes. You see, I didn't feel well today, so I asked my sensei for a day off.
Ichiraku* Hmm, don't worry. For you, I have my healing ramen. Wait a minute.
Yuta* Okay, and also one miso, please. (I always wanted to try it; let's see if Naruto was right about it being the food of the gods.)
A few moments later, I receive two bowls of ramen. I'm confused about which one is the miso and which one is the healing ramen, but then a memory hits me: the left one is miso, and the right one is healing.
In my opinion, both ramen bowls are delicious. I prefer the miso, though, as the healing ramen is filled with herbs that aren't to my taste. I quickly finish the food, pay, say goodbye, and head to Training Ground 3, which is on the outskirts of the village. It takes me 30 minutes to walk there. As I walk, I examine the roads, shops, and stalls, noting the weapon shops and flower stands.
Training Ground 3 is mostly filled with trees, grass, and rocks. There is a small lake. I wander around and come to the center of the training ground where there are weapons like kunai, shuriken, and even a small broken sword. I spend a few minutes exploring and then start to head home. That's when I see a small sword in good condition. It has a small dent, but its sharpness is still usable. I think I should take it to the blacksmith I saw on my way to the training ground.
--
The repair costs 3000 ryo, which is manageable. The blacksmith says it will take 2 to 3 days to repair. I give him half the money and promise to pay the rest when the repair is done. Then I head home.
It's been a good day. I woke up in someone else's body, went to the ramen shop, roamed around the village, visited the training ground, got a small sword, went to the blacksmith, and finally came home. The apartment is on a high floor—fourth or fifth, I guess. I'm lucky because my timing is perfect; the sun is about to set, and the Hokage monument looks stunning. I start to watch the scene.
--
Two hours later, I'm about to go to sleep when I remember I have a system store. I feel like a big idiot for not checking it sooner. I focus and memories about how to use the system store flood my mind.
"Status window," I say, and a display appears.
--
[Welcome host! I am the system store. Although this is a recorded message, I would like to thank you for choosing the system store. I hope you enjoy it. In the system store, you can get anything as long as you have the money. In addition, we have a status window to help you figure out your level. That's all. Have a nice day!*
Host* Yuta Kakabushi
Body Power* Low-level genin
Chakra Power* Mid-level genin
Job* Ninja
Current Level* Genin
Overall* Low-mid genin
Money* 10k ryo
Store Points* 100 (1000 ryo = 1 store point)
--
Store Tier 1* (tiers go higher as you purchase items)
1. One set of kunai – 5 points
2. One set of shuriken – 3 points
3. Long steel katana – 10 points
4. 10 low chakra recovery pills – 20 points
5. D-rank clone jutsu – 30 points
6. D-rank substitution jutsu – 25 points
7. D-rank transformation jutsu – 30 points
Etc.
--
Hmm, my status says I'm a low-mid genin. The price for a set of kunai, a set of shuriken, and a long steel katana seems reasonable. But the price for the jutsu seems high, and I'm not sure about the chakra recovery pills. Are they like soldier pills? I'll find out tomorrow.
I close the window and go to sleep.

(Finally finished! That was a long chapter for me, I guess. Just kidding, I know the chapter was short. I'm new to writing, so it took me an hour to finish 1k words. Also, sorry for the grammar errors. Please correct me if I was wrong and suggest a few pointers to make a good story. I'm new, so I don't really know how to express emotions well. Sorry for that. Bye-bye, see you next chapter!)
