"Ready?" Charlie asked.
"I've got the goods, let's do this," I said shaking the packaging in my hand with a smirk on my face.
Charlie knocked on the door and I counted in my head '…1.2.3' and he opened the door
"Happy birthday!" the both of us spoke. I let Charlie go first cus he is the father obviously, he walked over with a very dad smile…which of course melted my heart…
"I thought we said no presents" huh?
"Well it's not wrapped, so it doesn't count" wow… very smart.
Bella took the camera from his hand, and he handed over the album.
"Dani… what are you doing there, get over here" Charlie spoke. right!
"Happy!" I wrapped her in a tight hug "Birthday!"
I gave her the small box to her; she shot me a small smile.
"Dani… you didn't have to get me anything…"
"Oh shush Bella and open it!"
Inside was a chain with a book locket. Bella's eyes sparkled.
"Dani! It's so pretty" she exclaimed.
"Since you like books, I thought you'd like this" she gave me a smile.
"Besides WOW, you're in senior year now" I heard Charlie exhale deeply behind me.
"Senior year… how did you grow so old so fast?" he asked, Bella's head snapped towards him.
"I didn't… it's not that old" she answered.
"I don't know… is that grey hair?" Charlie asked.
"No…" Bella's eyes darted to me. Me who obviously got into character spoke.
"Whoa…" I immediately turned and whispered to Charlie but loud enough for her to hear. "… Oh my god. That is grey hair!"
"Noooo" she got off the bed "No way," she said rushing toward the mirror. She huffed. And shot Charlie a look, he raised his hand and said "Happy Birthday" before exiting the scene.
"It's really funny" Bella sarcastically murmured making me burst into a fit of giggles.
"Sooo," I said plopping down on her bed. "What's the birthday girl's plan today?"
"Nothing, it's just another day," she said
"What do you mean it's another day? Bella! It's your 18th birthday!" I gushed.
"Yeah I'm ageing"
"Oh my god! If you think like that, you're gonna miss out on the fun stuff"
"Like?" she asked in disbelief
"UH Family and friends time, good memories…" I trailed off.
"And free stuff of course! You're missing out on that!" she rolled her eyes at my statement.
"Seriously?" she asked.
"Yeah, Yeah. Whatever. Get ready, we have school… I made a special breakfast" I said walking to the door.
"Hey Dani"
"Yeah?" I asked
"Don't tell anyone about today. Ok?"
"Fineeee" I said closing the door behind me. This girl and her ageing. I rolled my eyes and walked towards the kitchen.

I didn't understand how someone could be so sad about celebrating their own birthday. It's absolutely ridiculous if you ask me. Anyways I chatted with her on the drive. I low-key wanted her to drive faster… I sighed.
School. Oh, sweet sweet school. I thought as Bella parked the car.
School isn't sweet Dani, it's brutal.
"Today is the big day Bella" a goofy grin formed on my face. Did Jess know? Pleaseeee tell me she knew!
"Er, R n J essay due" are you being for real? I zoned out scolding everyone around me. Oh c'mon I wanted Bella to be the special birthday girl but here she is shying away. I rolled my eyes.
I never had that attention…
So, it confused me, for someone who could have that attention, turned it down… it's fine… it's not like it's my choice.
"Dani!" Bella's voice snapped me from my thoughts
"Oh… yeah?" I asked like a deer caught in headlights.
"Go stand with them, I need pictures, remember?" she said waving the camera.
"Oh… ok," I said, walking next to Angela and giving a small smile.
"Cullen's here… yay" someone sarcastically spoke making me giggle. I watched mike back the hell away.
Yeah, run away mate.
Was I high today or something? I asked. A wave of dizziness came over me.
Just great.
Bella and Edward were caught up in their world and just as I was gonna leave them to do their thing. The hair on my arms stood straight.
"Someone wants you" I whipped my head to see Jacob, flashing his ultra-white teeth at Bella.
"Bella!"
"Jacob!" Bella spoke with happiness and shock… I looked away from the scene heat rushing to my cheek about the aftermath of prom. I was probably overreacting but toward the end, it was like he wanted to get rid of me… and that embarrassed me… how could I bother someone with my presence?
Edward, I think caught a glimpse of my awkward face. Or maybe he had to just leave too…
"I'll be by Dani" Edward spoke and came towards me.
"Hey Vampy," I said causing Edward to raise his eyebrow
"Should I call you witchy now?" he asked. I pursed my lips and taped my cheek.
"Lemme think about it. How about no thank you?" I asked, even though I secretly liked the nickname. Like c'mon, I like pet names!
"Well too bad Witchy" he answered. I huffed.
"Well, Vampy's not going either," I said crossing my hand dramatically.
"Fine by me," he said with his signature crooked smile making me shake my head in amusement.
"You should switch schools" I heard Bella. Edward also seemed to be listening. God, we both are acting like creeps… I again looked away trying not to eavesdrop.
"I'm all right, I prefer the rez school's exclusivity… they'd let any old riff rats into this place" like me, I thought.
Why am I letting his words he probably didn't mean into my head?
"Hey Edward, I gotta go, byeeee," I said darting into the school.

"What's up with you?" Willow spoke leaning against the locker.
"Just… yea… just" I answered. I even was confused by what I felt.
"Ok?" she asked. "You know… if something is going on, you can tell me but if you aren't ready, I won't pry… ok?" she reassured.
I smiled at her "Thanks" I said embracing her.
"You're the best, you know that right?" I asked.
"Of course, I do"
"But I'm better" a voice came from behind. Oh god, not in the morning.
"Been a while, Ivy" Tara spoke her voice laced with venom.
"hm" was all I spoke.
"What? No words?" she asked raising her eyebrows.
"I do but id rather not waste it on you" I spoke with confidence for once but that was short-lived.
"What did you just say Ivy?" and I shrunk back into myself.
"Did she stutter Tara?" Willow asked slowly reaching to hold my hand, I knew what she was doing… she was going to pull me out of there the second she tried to do something.
"No, but she will soon" what…?
"You Daniella Ivy aren't going to live in peace with me around, you got that?" she was going to grab my hair but willow immediately pulled me to her side making Tara trip. But she quickly regained her balance.
"I think it's better if we leave" Willow whispered really fast. Tara's jaw clenched and she was ready to pounce. Willow quickly grabbed my wrist and darted away from her.
"That was close" Willow spoke when we entered the class.
"It was…" she was extra mad today…
"I wonder what crawled up her ass today," willow thought out loud. I shot her a look.
"Sorry" she quickly apologized realizing we weren't the only ones in class.
"Whatever it was, she was going to take it out on me" I murmured.
"You should complain about her…" she answered.
"Just so she can bully me more?" I inquired "And it's not like the teachers are going to do anything"
"Touche" she replied. "Let's get this over with" she spoke as the teacher sat at her desk.

Been a while eh? firstly I want to say sorry I didn't update regularly, I was busy but now I'm freeee (P.S I passed all my exams *wipes sweat off my forehead) And I just want to say
thank you, thank you so so much for all the reads! and sticking with me, in another 5 days, It would be a year since I posted Daniella Ivy! I'm a Lil bit disappointed that we are still not halfway through but it has been a tough year and a new year is fast approaching too, so let's put all this behind us and be happy about how far we've come *wipes a tear.
