I opened the already unlocked door to see a very at-home Willow on the couch.

"Dinner is in the oven" she says making me roll my eyes "There's literally so much going on outside and you were just cooking dinner" I say plopping down next to her.

"Ah yes, instead of not letting ourselves starve, I should listen to problems which I can't help in any way" she says sarcastically making me laugh despite me being tired. I sighed heavily and buried my head in my hands.

"Dani… you okay?" she asks patting my back. To which I nod, "Just… tired and stressed" I say and lean onto her. She pats my shoulder. "Mom says I could stay over…" she pauses "If you're okay with it" I freeze. Someone else… with me… in this house? Is that ok…? Is that dangerous?

I gulp. Oh just for today fuck it. "Yeah please stay," I say and she threw her hands in the air "WELL. Yay! One good news for you today at least" she says making me snort. "Good news? I'm stuck with you for a whole night, how's that good?" I say teasingly to which she sticks out her tongue

"Yeah? Well deal with it" she says and gets up towards the kitchen "Oh hey, this file was on the couch, I kept it on the table, it looked important" File? FILE! I quickly got up and darted to the dining room. And grabbed the file. I saw a letter sticking out of the file.

To Daniella,

Hi, it's me, Vampy. God, it feels so weird to write that… however I am writing this letter to explain some things I couldn't, by now I have probably already left, to where? It's no longer your concern. Yes. That's right. It's not your concern anymore… I have left because I don't want to destroy Bella's life like I so far have. She deserves better… far better I'd be happy if she even was to raise puppies. And you are a part of her life… a big part too… and I want you to be happy and safe too. I trust you Daniella… so please protect Bella and stay safe. And I hope this parting gift… truly makes you happy…

Tears stung my eyes as I put the letter down. You idiot.

You moron.

You coward.

I cursed in my head as my hands shook.

"Oh my god Daniella!" Willow gasps seeing my tears. "Are you okay?" she says as she holds my arms. "Yeah, I just have to… um, read this…" I waved the file in the air and sniffled and opened the file.

My breath hitched audibly as my eyes scanned the documents. Willow peeked over my shoulder and ran her eyes through the documents as well.

My mind raced with countless thoughts. There's no way

It's not possible. How?

I didn't even know-

"HOLY SHIT DANIELLA," she says snapping me out of my thoughts.

"You're Elena Swan." She puts her hand on my shoulder and grips tightly "You're Charlie Swans Daughter!"

Me and Willow sat at the table and ate without exchanging a word.

Yes, we are stress eating now.

"So" Willow broke the silence "Are you going to tell Chief Swan?"

I choked on the food as Willow hurriedly passed me water and when I calmed down I replied "No"

"What? Are you crazy? You just found your family and you aren't going to tell them?" she says in utter disbelief.

"Willow… look… Bella… needs Charlie now… all to herself right now…" I say and pause "I can't just barge into their lives when theirs is already a mess right now." Willow nodded.

"I get that," she says hesitantly "So when are you going to tell him? I mean you eventually have to… for both of your sakes" she says as she continues to eat.

"Maybe when… maybe when Bella is alright… and there aren't any issues… so we can all just be… happy about it" I say. Willow reaches for my hand and squeezes.

"You know… I'm telling you as your best friend… you don't… have to be selfless yknow… its ok to do something for you… I'd support you if you want to right now march up to Chief Swan's house and tell him everything, hell! I'd support you if you even demand him to take care of you" she says making me smile and shaking my head. "Thank you Wila… but don't worry I'm not being selfless and…" I roll my eyes "What's the point of emancipation if I'm just going to demand care from my biological father"

"touche" she simply replied "Wanna watch a movie?" she asks in an attempt to lighten up the mood.
