Chapter 4: Iris and Paul's Investigation
(DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN POKÉMON OR BEN 10! POKÉMON BELONGS TO NINTENDO/GAMEFREAK! AND BEN 10 BELONGS TO "MAN OF ACTION"!)
(Back at HQ, Iris, Fraxure, Paul, and Mightyena were doing their own investigation into the Microchips. Having Found a video of an interview of Jessie's father, Joseph Stone with Mohn and Zoroark being the ones to interview him. The Time Stamp of the interview said it took place on 9/22/2006. In the video, Mohn asked a handcuffed Joseph).
Mohn: Who were you gonna sell the chips to, Mr. Joseph?
Joseph Stone: l am telling you... l had to take them. lt was for research. Those chips... they are a threat. They are planning something. (From this, Iris, Fraxure, Paul, and Mightyena exchange knowing looks, as they remembered what happened to them earlier at the place where they first ran into Jessie. Before they resume watching as Mohn and Zoroark said yelling at Joseph Stone).
Mohn: That is a lie! They are dead! (Then Mohn calms down a bit telling him). The lab boys said They are nothing but Pokémon tech, no threat at all. Who is your buyer?
Zoroark: We are not playing around here Joseph! (Then Joseph tries to tell them).
Joseph Stone: The hive, they want us! They are coming for us, Mohn! Zoroark! They are coming for us all! l'm telling you. The truth, Mohn and Zoroark! (For Iris, Fraxure, Paul, and Mightyena this was quite a Cassandra Truth as they knew that the invasion was already starting. In the Video, Mohn calmly refuses to believe him saying).
Mohn: You are gonna need to do better than that, Mr. Joseph, I know you.
Zoroark: And we are not buying that Phoney Baloney one bit! So, stop acting all Brainwashed and Crazy! (Then Paul stops the video to tell Iris and Fraxure).
Paul: Gramps and Zoroark have a great bedside manner there, Iris.
Mightyena: Quite the best I have ever seen. (Iris then explains to Paul and Mightyena).
Iris: Stone was like, his prized pupil. l think Mohn really felt his betrayal. (Then Iris begins to wonder about something regarding Mohn and Jessie's Face-Heel Turn). l wonder if... (Paul catches on Iris' train of thought finishing her thought for her).
Paul: Do you think Mohn's ending up stabbed in the back is keeping him from seeing straight? (At this Iris shrugs her shoulder to show that she was truly considering it). That would make...
Iris: Ash right.
Fraxure: Then Jessie may not truly be a Double Agent or something.
Mightyena: And that Mohn and Zoroark were wrong to think that this Is Unforgivable for Joseph to do.
Paul: And that is a scary thought. And not just because we hate it when Ash is right.
Iris: So, what if this loony is not so loony? What if the chips were not dead? (The group did understand that as Brainwashed and Crazy as Mohn and Zoroark made Jessie's father out to be, it did not make the fact that Mohn and Zoroark did not do a Nice Job Breaking It, Hero. Because if they believed Joseph from the get-go, everything they have been so far could have ended up prevented. (Paul knows where Iris is going with this and fills in the blanks for her).
Paul: Like, some kind of species of Insects that can remain dormant for decades. (Iris and Fraxure go wide eyed from Shock at how Paul could surely know this. Since Paul is usually the Brilliant, but Lazy member of their group. Then he confesses to them). l learned that from watching The Science Channel.
Mightyena: Usually when we are home bored, and there is nothing else on that we like. (Iris and Fraxure smile happily at this).
Iris: Your depth of knowledge astounds.
Fraxure: You both never Cease to amaze us. (Then a computer AI Voice Says).
Computer: Now beginning thermal and spatial analysis of all targets. (From this Iris then asks Paul and Mightyena).
Iris: Have any luck getting a trace on their energy signature?
Paul: Your wish was my... headache inducing project. (Hearing the "Lazy" part of Paul's Brilliant, but Lazy nature where he is good at solving problems with help from the science channel, coming out, Mightyena reassures Iris and Fraxure telling them).
Mightyena: But I will make sure he does not slack off on this project Iris. (Then Paul gets to work as a Computer AI Says).
Computer: Targets found. Absolute locations displayed in a radial curve, beginning at 38° Degrees latitude...
Paul: The chips are showing up in a 100-mile radius.
Computer: 96° Degrees Longitude. (Happy from hearing this, Iris and Fraxure applauds them saying).
Iris: Paul! You did it!
Fraxure: Nice Work. (Then Iris goes and gives Paul a quick kiss on the cheek).
Paul: The cheek? l managed to find all the big bad Pokémon chips, and all l get is a kiss on the cheek? (Then they hear a couple of snickering giggles and realize that Fraxure and Mightyena were the ones giggling before Mightyena laughs saying to Fraxure).
Mightyena: Lover boy. (Then for extra emphasis, Fraxure licks his hand and runs it down the back of his head pretending he had hair there to slick back, seeing this makes Mightyena laugh even more then he already was).
Fraxure: Too true. (Paul just rolls his eyes at this as Iris gets to work from her computer).
Iris: Greatest concentration of chips... have a clustering here. (On the large green tinted electronic Map on the wall behind them, an area ends up zoomed in for the group to see. As Paul tells them what area they were seeing here).
Paul: lt's the Ship-lt distribution center.
Iris: lt's only about an hour from here. Are you thinking what l'm thinking? (Paul knows where Iris is thinking here as he tells her).
Paul: That we are going against orders and are no better than Ash and Pikachu. (Iris then rolls her again as she tells him).
Iris: You had to mention it. (Then she goes to work on her computer as the Computer AI Voice Says).
Computer: Destination at absolute distance of 49.87 miles.
(Later, a Door ends up getting a hole in it from a punch before it ends up knocked down. On the other side of the door was Iris, Fraxure, Paul, and Mightyena).
Paul: Come on, it is open. (Iris sarcastically asks him).
Iris: lt's open, huh?
Paul: lt's open now. (Then the group walks inside, as they were now at the "Ship-It" Distribution center. They look around armed with Flashlights, finding the place to be completely empty. As Paul says to Iris). Remind me why we drove all the way out here again.
Mightyena: Because it is looking to be a dead end. (Iris ignores him as they keep looking. Iris comes to a stop and uses her Aura Powers for a moment, before stopping to tell him and Mightyena).
Iris: They were here, Paul. We are too late.
Fraxure: So, we did all this for nothing. Great. (Then Iris walks away with Fraxure as Paul and Mightyena follow them but not before Paul mimics Iris' hand gestures when she uses her Aura Powers).
Paul: Yes. That is what l get, too.
(Then he and Mightyena catch up to Iris and Fraxure in another room).
Paul: And there is, like, nothing here anymore. (Then something catches Paul and Mightyena's eyes briefly, as Iris tells him).
Iris: There is something. Let us check it out.
(In another room, the group was checking out shipping records they found that resembled the one that Ash, Pikachu, Jessie, and Arbok found in Joseph's lab before the group of Microchipped People attacked them).
Iris: Galar, Kalos, Alola. These orders originated from this location and are going all over the world. Literally. Air, sea, by every means, they have.
Paul: Must be thousands of crate orders. Surely 100,000.
Mightyena: And that means Epidemic Level Danger if we do not stop them. (Paul's comment about 100,000 has Iris asking him).
Iris: Paul, what do you think it means? (Paul thinks for a moment before answering when he realizes something).
Paul: lt means we are at least one step behind something disturbingly huge.
Fraxure: I do not like the sound of that. (Then the group hears a voice that startles them).
Voice: Can l help you? (The group realizes the voice came from a man in a "Ship-It" Employee uniform. The group still surprised by the sudden appearance of the Ship-It Employee, has Iris telling him).
Iris: Um, hi, we just had a couple of questions. (The "Ship-It Employee" calmly says to the group saying in a monotonous sounding voice).
Ship It Employee: Ship-lt is not open right now. Please return during regular business hours. (Then Iris and Fraxure Sarcastically asks the "Ship-It Employee").
Iris: And what are you doing here in the dark?
Fraxure: Here burning the Midnight Oil? (The "Ship-It Employee" responds to Iris and Fraxure questions again sounding calmy and monotonously).
Ship It Employee: We are workers. We live to obey. (Paul and Mightyena then sarcastically says back to him).
Paul: Well, you must be employee of the month.
Mightyena: That must be thrilling. Be sure to invite us to your Employee of the Month Ceremony. (The group then notices that for a brief second the entire Sclera of "Ship-It Employee" briefly flash going from its normal white to a complete shade of Blue along with an additional pair of Blue eyes appearing on the Forehead, before both sets of eyes disappear and the blue eyes of the "Ship-It Employee" return to their normal white as if nothing happened at all. After seeing this, the group exchanges nervous looks with each other before Iris tries to calm her nerves as she tells the "Ship-It Employee").
Iris: Look, Mister, we just need to take a couple of these documents for a little school project. (She calmly and peacefully walks over to take the aforementioned documents that were on top of an Iron Drum). l'll bring 'em right back after we turn in our report. Okay? (But then "Ship-It Employee" smiles ominously at the group as he tells them sounding weirdly calm and monotonously).
Ship It Employee: No, you will remain. You will join us. (Paul and Mightyena frankly are now feeling fed up with this guy's attitude towards them grabbing the "Ship-It Employee" by his shirt collar and holding him up in the air).
Paul: l'm gonna need to insist. (Then Paul grabs a hold of a metal table and begins absorbing its metal makeup as Mightyena tells him).
Mightyena: You better listen to him if you know what is good for you. (But the "Ship-It Employee" ignores them and tells still sounding calm and monotonous).
Ship It Employee: Your desires are irrelevant. The queen's will supersedes all.
Paul: Well, tell your queen to supersede this. (Then Paul holds his Metal Coated fist up to the "Ship-It Employee" ready to Clobber him if necessary. And in the process hopefully, knock him out of his Puppeteer Parasite state. Mightyena then smirks at the "Ship-It Employee" telling him).
Mightyena: Last Warning. (Then Iris, and Fraxure join in smirking at the "Ship-It Employee" who just smirks back at them).
(Moments later, a glass window shatters as the "Ship-It Employee" goes flying through it).
(A Couple of minutes later, the group walks back to Paul's Car. They climb inside and put their seatbelts on, including Fraxure and Mightyena, who gets help from Fraxure. Once they do so, Iris looks towards the back seat and sees the "Ship-It Employee" standing a couple of feet from Paul's Car).
Iris: What is that weirdo doing? (The others look to see what Iris was talking about. They see him weirdly raising his arms as Paul ventures a guess).
Paul: Do not know. Praying to the great god of bubble wrap?
Mightyena: I do not know and yet I am getting a bad feeling about this.
Fraxure: And my bad feeling is telling me that we should get out of here before we end up finding out in a terribly bad way. (Iris nods in agreement with Fraxure before she looks forward and suddenly sees a huge swarm of Microchips flying towards them. As Iris shouts to Paul).
Iris: Paul!
Paul: Okay, these chips are now officially an issue. (The group watches as the Microchips begin flying around in front of the car, not attacking them... yet, instead forming small metal looking balls. Seeing this, Iris realizes something as she tells Paul).
Iris: That is new. They could not form solid shapes before. Could the chips be learning?
Fraxure: If that is true, then we are in trouble.
Mightyena: Trouble? How about Danger!? (Then the Multiple Iron balls begin pelting the Windshield, creating cracks in the glass as Paul shouts in anger).
Paul: Come on, not the Glass! That is custom! (Iris, being more concerned with their safety shouts to Paul).
Iris: Let us get out of here! (Paul then begins driving his car out of there to get them to safety. Leaving the "Ship-It Employee" to thank them as he sees them leaving).
Ship It Employee: Thank you for using Ship-lt. (Paul drives the group away from the Ship-It Distribution Center leaving the Microchips behind).
(Moments later, Paul is driving his car down the road, with the group safe from the swarm of Microchips as Iris sarcastically tells him).
Iris: You should teach a driving class. (Paul just mutters to himself).
Paul: Defensive drivers are the safest drivers. (As Paul's Car keeps driving down the road, something else begins following them at extremely high speeds... the Microchips! And they merge to form a Giant Iron/Metal Sphere that follows the group. It rolls from a higher road onto the main road where Paul's Car was. Iris sees the Microchip Ball following them and warns Paul saying).
Iris: Looks like we have company. (Fraxure and Mightyena turn to see what Iris saw, and when they did, they gasped in shock and horror).
Fraxure: That's terrible news!
Mightyena: And is it travelling fast! (Paul hits the gas pedal making his Engine Rev to make his car go faster, increasing its speed. Then the Microchip Ball splits itself into making two more Microchip balls, in exchange for making itself shrink a couple of inches. Seeing that there were now 3 Microchip Balls after them, Iris has a Realization about the Microchips).
Iris: l think they are getting smarter.
Paul: Then so will we. (Paul then goes and hits the brakes before spinning the car around to turn and drive back in the direction they came from. In doing so, he ends causing one of the Microchip balls to crash into a pillar supporting a bridge. Paul then quickly maneuvers his car into driving towards the bridge tunnel with the two remaining Microchip balls following them. Then one of the remaining Microchip Balls crashes into another Pillar destroying it. As Paul's Car keeps moving down through the tunnel the sole remaining Microchip Ball keeps chasing them as the just destroyed Microchip Ball reforms itself as it keeps chasing after the group. But then the Microchip Balls forms spikes on them, resembling the spiked ball on a mace with spikes. The two Microchip Balls begin to close in on Paul's Car as Iris, Fraxure, and Mightyena see them coming. Paul looks and sees them coming, before they begin multiplying yet again into more Spiked Microchip Balls. Seeing this Paul knows what to do). Okay, so we gotta get smarter and faster. (Paul flips a switch on his car's Dashboard and presses a button causing his car to blast off with incredible speed, initially out speeding the Microchip Balls before they catch up. When Paul's Car exits the Tunnel, another Car is in sight as Iris shouts to Paul warning him).
Iris: Watch out! (Paul then makes a quick turn, avoiding the incoming car which also causes the car to an abrupt stop right in front of the tunnel, putting it in the path of the Multiple Microchip Balls, with them either ducking underneath the car or going right above the car hitting the roof of the car, severely damaging it and the windshield at the same time).
(Meanwhile, elsewhere in the city were Ash, Pikachu, Jessie, and Arbok. They stopped somewhere to look at a map to the Ship-It Office on an electronic device that Ash was holding in his hands).
Ash: The "Ship-lt" office is right up over here. (Then the group hears an Engine Roars in the nearby distance. Leading Jessie to ask).
Jessie: What was that?
Arbok: Beatsss me. (But Ash and Pikachu recognize it at once and know what is surely going on).
Ash: The most obnoxious muscle car in the world. We are taking a detour.
Pikachu: Come on let us go! (Jessie returns Arbok to its Pokéball before she, Ash, and Pikachu put their Motorcycle helmets on. Then they get back on Ash's (Mohn's) Motorcycle to find what was going on with Pikachu holding onto Ash's shoulder tightly).
(Meanwhile, Iris, Fraxure, Paul, and Mightyena were still trying to lose the Spiked Microchip Balls chasing them. But so far, no such luck. Luckily however, one of the Microchip Balls goes and crashes into a Metal Fence, as Paul keeps driving away, but was getting frustrated with his inability to get away from these Microchip Balls).
Paul: l cannot lose 'em! (Paul drives his car into a construction yard, losing the Microchip Balls before heading back onto the main road, as they come back for them. Leading Iris to yell to him).
Iris: Paul, no! (She and Fraxure see one of the Microchip Balls grinding into one of the front wheel tires on her side of the car, causing it to burst, as the Microchip Ball also explodes. Knowing what this damage could do, Paul tells her and the others).
Paul: Hang on! (Paul's Car ends up flying into the air, spinning around and around before crashing back onto the ground before finally coming to a stop landing right-side up bringing their Car Chase to an end. Paul's Car was very irreparably damaged, with the evidence of it all over the car. But thankfully, the passengers were okay as Iris and Fraxure begins Coughing. Unfortunately, though due to the cars extensive damage, the doors would not open, leaving Iris and Paul to crawl out the open windows. Fraxure and Mightyena however, while okay if not a little dizzy, after the car crash, were too big to climb out the windows, leaving them no choice but to break down the doors, off their hinges. Once out, they both collapsed due to feeling dizzy. Then Paul asked Iris and Fraxure, after seeing their conditions).
Paul: Are you both okay? (As Soon as Iris makes it out of the car, she bends over in pain from the crash. Before she goes to comfort Fraxure, while Paul did the same for Mightyena).
Iris: Yes. lt hurts when l laugh, but l does not think that will be a problem. (Then she turns her attention to her partner, Fraxure feeling very worried about it, as she held Fraxure in her arms). Fraxure, how are you feeling?
Fraxure: Dizzy and a little Nauseous but other than that, I am okay. (Then Fraxure's face turns green). Excuse me. (Fraxure runs as fast as it can to an area behind a stack of concrete blocks. Moments later the groups hear Fraxure making sounds that makes them cringe due to the implications of them before Fraxure returns looking a little better as it breathes steadily again). Okay, I am all right now. (Then Paul looked to Mightyena to see if he was okay).
Mightyena: I am feeling Dizzy, a little Queasy, and a little lightheaded, but otherwise fine. (Then Paul turns his attention to the Status of his Car, while still trying to comfort Mightyena).
Paul: l does not know who is behind all this, (Then Paul begins shouting in anger and rage), but They are gonna fix my car! (Then Mightyena coughs/clears its throat to remind Paul about his condition. Then he realizes where he went wrong). And for hurting my Mightyena! (As the group tries to catch their breath and regroup after what they just went through, they help their Pokémon to their feet, and a take a slow walk through the area, surveying it for any sign of the Microchips but so far nothing. Then Paul asked Iris). Do you think they gave up?
Iris: l am not sure. Chance they just wanted to scare us.
Fraxure: All I am sure of is that I need a bit of serious rest. (Iris understands why Fraxure would need that, as she gives Fraxure a hug to hopefully comfort it. Which brings a small smile to Fraxure's face as he feels a little better after that. Then they hear Metal Creaking coming from somewhere. The group looks all around to find out where it was coming from. Only for Paul to point out to them).
Paul: Well, they succeeded. (They look up to the bridge way above them to see a Single Enormous Non-Spiked Microchip Ball teetering over the edge for them. Then Giant Spikes burst out of the Microchip Ball, then it tips over the edge dropping down towards the group. Then it begins slowly moving towards them. Iris sends one of her Aura Spheres to attack the Microchip Ball, while Fraxure and Mightyena were still trying to get their breath back. But the Aura Sphere had little to no effect whatsoever on the Microchip Ball. Even a second Aura Sphere had no effect on the Microchip Ball. The group was thinking that they were in trouble and could use a bit of serious help right about now).
(Thankfully, unbeknownst to them help was on the way. As Ash, Pikachu, and Jessie were riding nearby on Ash's motorcycle).
(The Microchip Ball was nearing ever closer to Iris, Fraxure, Paul, and Mightyena. Paul puts his hand on an Iron drum and absorbs its components giving his Arms an Iron Covering. He was ready to fight and destroy this thing if necessary to protect them).
(Not far away, Ash, Pikachu, and Jessie were closing on the others. While still driving the Motorcycle, Ash reaches for the Pokétrix, turning the dial onto one of his Pokémon Transformations. He then throws his Helmet off and yells to Jessie and Pikachu telling them).
Ash: Take Over! Pikachu get onto Jessie's Shoulder! (Upon hearing what Ash said, Jessie and Pikachu tell back to him in shock of what they heard him say).
Jessie: Are you Crazy?!
Pikachu: Do not do it while Driving Ash! (But Ash ignores them, as he stands up on the Motorcycle seat as Pikachu jumps from Ash's shoulder to Jessie's. Then Ash hits the Pokétrix dial back down, activating the transformation sequence as he jumps into the air while the Pokétrix transforms him. Leaving Jessie to take over driving the motorcycle as she quickly grabs the motorcycle's handlebars. While in midair, Ash transforms into... Tyranitar! He lands back on the ground with a Thud! Paul, Mightyena, and the others are relieved to see Ash and Co. here. Ash then roars loudly to the Microchip Ball as if challenging it to a fight. While Jessie, now in control of the motorcycle Ash just jettisoned from goes and parks it behind Iris, Fraxure, Paul, and Mightyena with Pikachu safely on her shoulder as her Arbok came out to join the group. Upon Them seeing Jessie and Pikachu, Paul tells her half sarcastically and half appreciatively).
Paul: Nice timing. (Ash was staring down the Microchip Ball as he kept using Tyranitar's Dragon Dance attack to increase his Attack and Speed stat, since this clearly was going to take a bit of muscle on his part. The Microchip Ball began rolling towards him as he used Dragon Dance one last time, before going head-to-head with the Microchip Ball, attacking it relentlessly with his Focus Punch attack, doing humongous damage to it. And in mere seconds was tearing it apart piece by piece, while the others all went to hide and allow Ash to take care of this. However, as Ash kept destroying the Microchip Ball repeatedly, the Microchips from it began to reform into a Spinning Wheel kind of thing. As Paul took notice from behind the cover that he and the others were using). That's kinda whatev. (The Spinning Microchip Wheels kept circulating around the remains Paul's Car as Iris tells them).
Iris: That's kinda of a nightmare.
Fraxure: They are surely Freddy Krueger Nightmare Levels of Scary.
Mightyena: Great. Now I do not know what/who I am more afraid. These Microchips, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, or Michael Myers.
(Ash seeing the Microchip Wheel's circling around Paul's Car while closing in on him, goes to growl at them before trying to hit them, but misses. The Microchips begin firing attacks resembling that of a Charge Beam attack. Ash powers through and attacks one of the Microchip Wheels with his Tyranitar's Double Edge attack, destroying it. Sending Microchips flying everywhere including the direction where the others were hiding. While Ash continues fighting the Microchip Wheels, destroying another with his Heavy Slam attack. Then he sees a group of Microchip Wheels heading his way, all attacking with their Charge Beam attacks. A couple of them even target the others, leading them to duck and hide. When the Microchip Wheels turn their attacks on Ash, he struggles to shield himself, but he stands his ground and roars at them. Jessie looks very worried when she sees Ash kneels on leg briefly due to the injury, he sustained from the Charge Beam attacks before recovering to continue fighting. He Rushes to fight the Microchip Wheels as the others watch on in a bit of worry for him. Ash stops when the Microchip Wheels circle around creating a tornado like effect with Microchips surrounding him. Leading Jessie to cry out in worry for Ash).
Jessie: lt's got Tyranitar!
Arbok: Thissss is not good! (Ash tries to use Tyranitar's Fire Punch to break free of the Microchip tornado, but to no avail. Iris and Fraxure are quick to reassure Jessie and Arbok that Ash will be fine).
Iris: l would not count on it.
Fraxure: Ash will be okay; I am sure of it. (Indeed, in a matter of Moments, Ash bursts free of the Microchip tornado from the top and lands a couple of feet from the Microchip tornado. Then he sees the Microchips Forming into a Razor-Sharp Tornado directed at him. Seeing no other choice here, Ash goes and using Tyranitar's strength picks up Paul's Car. Paul seeing this has a bad feeling that he knows what Ash is about to do with his car as he says himself begging Ash not to do what he thinks is about to happen).
Paul: Oh, no. (Ash holds up Paul's Car like it was a Baseball bat). Do not do what l think you are gonna do. (Mightyena, having the same bad feeling that Paul does says to himself).
Mightyena: I cannot watch this. (With that Mightyena ducks behind the cover as Ash jumps for the Microchips and uses Paul's Car to smash them to pieces. And in doing so was successful in destroying these Microchips for good. Whatever parts are still intact of Paul's Car begins falling to the ground as Ash lands before roaring loudly into the air to announce his Victory over the Microchips. The others come out of their hiding place, running over to Ash. Then the Pokétrix times out turning Ash from his Tyranitar form to his human form. Then Ash begins panting in exhaustion from the fight he was just in as he walks out of the smoke from the explosion. Jessie and Arbok were the first to praise Ash for his skills just now).
Jessie: That was so cool.
Arbok: Niccce done Ash. Niccce done. (Then Pikachu goes and climbs back onto Ash's shoulder as he applauds Ash for stopping the Microchips just now).
Pikachu: Great Job Ash. Especially, with that bit of Car Fu just now.
Iris: Are you okay, Ash?
Fraxure: How about you Pikachu? (Ash and Pikachu nod their heads to let Iris and Fraxure know that they are okay after all that. But Paul was not incredibly happy especially with what Ash just did to his car, yelling at them saying).
Paul: You destroyed my car!
Mightyena: But we are glad though that you did save us. (Deciding to ignore Paul's complaint about his car for the moment, Ash asks them).
Ash: What were you doing here? (Paul, barely concealing his Anger for his Car, sarcastically tells Ash and co.).
Paul: Well, l had a sudden urge to ship something overnight, (Then Paul turns his anger onto Jessie and Arbok) and suddenly we are up to our Neck in your girlfriend and her Slithery Snake's chips. And that is right about the time. you came along and annihilated my car! (Mightyena growls with an incredibly angry look on his face at Jessie and Arbok).
Mightyena: Nice work may I say. You very nearly got us. (Iris and Fraxure roll their eyes at how Paul and Mightyena were blaming Jessie and Arbok for this, even though she, and Fraxure along with Paul and Mightyena suspected otherwise of their involvement in this matter earlier. Jessie and her Arbok are quick to deny their claims and defend themselves telling them not sounding like the Phlegmatic selves in the group's Four-Temperament Ensemble).
Jessie: Those chips are not mine! We were trying to warn you! (Paul and Mightyena are not the least bit convinced as they respond back with false gratitude and modesty).
Paul: Thanks. We will consider ourselves warned.
Arbok: All we want is to save Jessie's father and clear her father's name. And in doing so, save more people from Puppeteer Parasite. (Then Iris speaks up before more arguing can happen, catching Ash, Pikachu, Jessie, and Arbok up to speed on what they found. While Paul went and kicked a remnant of his destroyed car in a fit of anger while walking off, as Mightyena watched on in a bit of worry for his partner).
Iris: They are more than just autonomous tech. We found a hive of them at the Ship-lt office, and they have infected the clerk. Absorbed him. (Hearing this, Ash tells them about something that happened to his group earlier).
Ash: Yes, we just ran into his extended family, and they wanted to adopt us. (Paul walks over to the broken remains of his car).
Iris: No kidding. They must have analyzed the threat and evolved. (Paul picks up the Car doll he kept on his Dashboard that he found in the wreckage of his car).
Ash: They are clearly a highly adaptive species.
Jessie: And it looks like they still have a bit of life left in them.
Iris: We've gotta get a couple of these active chips back to the lab right away. (From that, Jessie suggests to the group something).
Jessie: Hopefully, they will give us a clue about what happened to my father. (But Paul and Mightyena are not thrilled about her coming with them as he tells her).
Paul: Hopefully, we will give you a call because you are not coming with us. You are trouble in a jug.
Mightyena: So, hit the road buster! Because neither of you are coming with us! (Jessie and Arbok undeterred by what Paul and Mightyena said defies them telling them point blankly).
Jessie: Oh, we are coming with you, all right.
Arbok: And you cannot Ssstop Usss. (Iris then steps to Rhetorically ask Ash something).
Iris: Ash, did Jessie and her Arbok not just lead you into a nest of techno-organic zombies?
Fraxure: I am sorry Ash, but I am with Iris and Paul on this one. (Ash and Pikachu, not liking how his friends Took a Level in Jerk here counters this telling them).
Ash: She is coming. One... she is in too much danger on her own now. And two... We trust her. (Ash turns to Pikachu on his shoulders to ask him). Right Pikachu?
Pikachu: Yes. She is coming with us. End of Story! Period! (The others, especially Iris cannot believe that Ash is still standing up for Jessie after all this. And how this will make her no longer the only girl in the gang. Not to mention that with her and Jessie it will be Two Girls to a Team when before it was just Two Guys and a Girl. Iris was trying not to be too hostile towards Jessie, but she just did not like her very much, especially given recent events. Then Jessie smirks a bit at Iris as she says while reaching into her jacket pocket).
Jessie: Speaking of which. (She pulls out something from her Jacket pocket, a piece of paper. Jessie gives it over to Paul as Iris asks her).
Iris: What is that? (Paul takes it from Jessie and looks at it).
Jessie: A quick and trustworthy cab service. (Then Iris Scoffs at this as Ash, Pikachu, Jessie, and Arbok walk off with Paul, Mightyena, Iris, and Fraxure hang back. With Iris frustratedly kicks the ground, feeling annoyed with this turn of events).

Ashpoke55: Thanks, I am glad you are enjoying this story so far. And I am even more happy that you are enjoying my "Ash Knight" Story Series so far. It was my very first Fanfiction story ever. And I have heard people say that sometimes your first efforts (In this case, first story) may not always be your best, and I do feel this is the case with my "Ash Knight" Story, I hate to diss my own story (I really do), but when I look back on it, I regret not making it better (or more alike my "Ash 150" Series) in terms of Quality, but I know that my Story writing skills are much better now compared to back then. Because One thing I wished I did better (or I guess not do at all) was focusing on putting too much emphasis on the Characters Pokémon. Such as saying how the Pokémon were feeling WAY TOO OFTEN! (Like at the end of every piece of Dialogue often). And other times giving them dialogue that consisted of only saying their names and nothing in Human Words (Which Is something I purposedly tried NOT to do in my "Ash 150" Series. I even originally intended to spend time fixing those stories, in other words fix the previously mentioned problems, but I abandoned doing so because I got terribly busy with readying my other stories for Publication. As of now, my "Ash 150" Stories are both my greatest accomplishment (as my very first Published (Story) Stories ever) but also my biggest regret whenever I realized how I could have made them better than they are now. And more like the quality Level I have with my "Ash 150" Series. At the time I was making the Story, I was just such a HUGE Fan (More like Humongous) of the Phandom. (It is a play on words with "Fandom" and "Phantom") that I ended up blinded by my desire for excellence that I allowed myself to do something so COMPLETELY Redundant when I could have done it a much better and easier to read way. I only managed to fix a couple of the first Chapters of Season 1 before I gave up on fixing them for the previously mentioned reasons. It now ended up getting to the point, where I cannot even read my own stories, I am just that ashamed of myself. Originally, the first chapters I ever made was Danny Phantom's Season 3 Episode, "Urban Jungle", I choose that episode because it was one of my favorite episodes of the series, not just because of Mark Hamill's role as Undergrowth. (Although it was a contributing factor). But it was the music that started playing during Danny's Escape to the Ghost Zone, starting from when he said, "No Such thing as Flying Plants" to the end of the scene when he said, "I Promise!". Then since the holidays were coming up (at the time of me doing the Pokémon version of "Urban Jungle") I then did the Pokémon Version of Danny Phantom's holiday Special, "The Fright Before Christmas". But again, this was before I even published any of the "Ash Knight" Series. While again the story is now at a point where I cannot even read my own stories, I do have a couple of fond memories from the time when I was making the "Ash Knight" Series. Such as the tons of stuff I improvised whether through adlibbing a Characters dialogue (Not Necessarily by Grammar Corrections but expanding it to say more stuff I thought of) or expanded a scene to add more original stuff to it. Such as Even parodying scenes from other shows in my "Ash Knight" Chapters/Stories. A couple of which I explain in the "Allusions" Stories (Which function as a sort of "Behind the Scenes" kind of thing). Anyway, while I am not necessarily Super Proud of the work I put into my "Ash Knight" Chapters/Stories (which If I had read instead of made/make, I would give it an "A" for effort, but a "B" or a "C" for presentation/readability), I do both treasure and regret doing. And a couple of the INCREDIBLE Homages I make to one of my Most Favorite TV Shows (Besides "Pokémon", "Danny Phantom", and "Ben 10"). (And the very first OC (Original Character) I ever created, hint it is the Pokémon Version of Dark Danny). Hint: The Homage I am referring to here is the show you referenced to when you said, "...Ash being the red ranger...". So, anyway, I hope that even if my "Ash Knight" stories are not exactly as good as you may have been hoping for, I hope you can at the very least enjoy it for what I was trying to do with it. Now as to your inquiry about a "Pokémon" Version of "Power Rangers", I hate to crush your hopes of me ever doing a story like that, but unfortunately there is a very little chance (and I do mean very little) that I will ever do a Story like that. Because I did originally want to do a Pokémon/Power Rangers Story for a long time, but there were a couple of Problems in the way with that. The First and BIGGEST Problem was that I could not find a SINGLE Published Script for any episode. Now, I always like to have a fully completed Script, for this part, I just need all the dialogue present. Now, when I was doing, "Ash Knight" close to every episode's script ended up completed at the time, the only exceptions were (as far as I can remember) the episodes called, "13", "The Fenton Menace", "Frightmare", and "Phantom Planet". Those episodes did not have completed Transcripts with any or truly little dialogue parts on them. And if I Find a script both Dialogue and non-dialogue parts (Character Actions for example) then excellent. Finding a Script is always the first part of the process for me. And since I could never find a Script of any kind for any Power Rangers Episode that was one of the First and BIGGEST Problems, I had with making a Pokémon/Power Rangers Story. The Second Problem was a Slightly (Keyword: Slightly) Smaller problem: Finding Pokémon Characters to Play the Power Rangers Characters. Now at face value this is a normally easy step for me. HOWEVER! Given how "Power Rangers" (The TV Show) has 30 Seasons, Countless Characters (Ranger and Non Ranger Characters alike) and Millions and Millions of Monsters that the Rangers Fight (to be clear the ones who inevitably go BOOM and eventually grow to Zord Size Levels), would make it hard to choose which Pokémon would play them. (Though to be fair, I could use the same Pokémon across Multiple seasons like for Example, I could use the Pokémon Scyther for "Mighty Morphin" Monster "Mantis" from the Episodes, "Plague Of The Mantis" & "Orchestral Maneuvers In The Park" and Lost Galaxy Foot Soldiers "Stingwingers"). Overall, it would just get to be too complicated. Not to mention finding (but more like thinking of/inventing) counterparts to all the ranger's weapons such as their Zords, blasters, swords, etcetera. Now for this one, I would just keep the basic design of the weapon just change the name. For the Animal Based Zords, those would have been easy as I could just match the Animal the Zord is based on to a Pokémon that resembles the very same animal. For example, a Zord based on a Bull, could be Bouffalant. (Just so long as I follow the rule, I used in my Scyther/Stingwingers example). I truly got extremely far in the process/steps of doing the part of the process where I had to find Pokémon Characters to Play the Power Rangers Characters. Having Multiple tables for each category of Ranger Stuff (Characters, Weapons, Zords, etcetera.). Using both Google Documents (Which I HARDLY EVER TRUST) and Office 365 but it was too much information for the system to manage (so to speak) that they just never worked for me. And just like that, my dream of doing a "Pokémon" Version of "Power Rangers" was over. Even if I were able to complete the step where I found Pokémon Characters to Play the Power Rangers Characters (Characters, Weapons, Zords, etcetera.) the problem of finding a Completed Script for any Power Rangers Script would be present. AND I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH! BECAUSE I CANNOT WORK WITHOUT A COMPLETED SCRIPT! A Couple of episodes (Like I mentioned with the "Danny Phantom" Episodes I mentioned earlier) would be fine, BUT NOT ENTIRE LONG RUNNING SERIES! IT WOULD DRIVE ME CRAZY! But if I were doing a "Pokémon" Version of "Power Rangers" (Specifically, "Mighty Morphin") I would undoubtedly choose Ash to play not the Red, Yellow, or Blue Ranger, but Rather the Green/White Ranger, Tommy Oliver. (May the Legendary Jason David Frank Rest in Peace). I do not who I would choose for the Rest of the "Mighty Morphin" Rangers, but Here are a couple of other Power Ranger Characters I had Pokémon Characters picked out for, Froslass as Dayu from "Samurai" and "Super Samurai", Jessie as Rita Repulsa from "Mighty Morphin" to "In Space", and Serena (XY) as Emma from "Megaforce" and "Super Megaforce". So, while I Absolutely no plans of doing a "Pokémon" Version of "Power Rangers" anytime soon, if you want something along those lines, I can suggest you explore , and other websites where people can post fanfiction stories like, WattPad, quotev, and multiple others websites for those kinds of stories. (However, I have not really looked myself, so I cannot promise anything on this specific front). But if your ever on YouTube, there are people who have taken "Power Rangers" Multiple Theme Songs and replaced the visuals of the theme song with clips from Shows and Nintendo games like "Pokémon" (Anime and Episodes based on Video Games like the "Mystery Dungeon" Series), "Smash Bros", "Super Mario Galaxy" (1 and 2), Sonic Games and TV shows, "Friends" (The Sitcom), "Scooby Doo", Marvels "Avengers", DreamWorks, "Kung Fu Panda", "Ben 10", Pixar's "Cars", "Avatar the Last Airbender", "Phineas and Ferb" (Believe or not, I cannot believe it but it is true), "Kim Possible", and "Toy Story". There is even something called "SMBZ" which is short for "Super Mario Bros. Z". It is supposed to be a show with both Mario and Sonic characters doing stuff like Power Rangers, but I have not checked it out, but saw their take on the Power Rangers Theme Songs and a ton of them are fantastic. So, if you want a "Pokémon" version of "Power Rangers", you got tons of good places to look. Anyway, sorry for the exceptionally long rant from me, but I hope you found it informative.
PS. It surely is obvious by now, but for those who were not aware of it, I always enjoy doing the Mightyena/Fraxure "Lover Boy" comments (Parts) any chance I get. And I always have ever since I did it for the first time, in the chapter/episode, "What Are Little Girls Made Of?". And additionally, it was not something I planned on of time, it was just something I thought of out of nowhere, and I just thought the idea was funny, and everytime I did after that, I just got funnier and funnier each time. So, you can surely expect it to not stop happening anytime soon. You can surely expect it to become a running gag (or joke).
