Pig & Pepper
(Ayla's POV)
*I walked further into the forest until I saw a giant mansion (look up "Mansion (48)" by "Dreamywanderer" on "DeviantArt") surrounded by a moat. Just then, I saw my friend Cyrus came running out of the woods, only he was dressed like footman, wearing a curly powdered wig, looked more like a fish than a lion, & was holding an envelope that was almost as big as he was. He stopped at the edge of the moat & called out*
Fish Footman (Cyrus): Delivery for the Duchess! *suddenly, a bridge, along with the front door, shot across the water like an accordion. the door opened & my adoptive older brother, Manic, who was also dressed as a footman, wore a curly powdered wig, & looked more like a frog than a hedgehog came out. suddenly, he tripped & fell on his stomach. then she stood up* From the Queen! An invitation for the Duchess to play croquet!
*The two of them started looking over the invitation*
Ayla: Hmm . . . I wonder if this is the Duchess Chris was talking about earlier.
*I tipped toed past them & went into the entrance*
(Third-Person POV)
*As the fish footman left, the frog footman started to head back inside the mansion. But he didn't realize that the bridge had already gone to other side & fell into the moat with a big splash*
(Ayla's POV)
*As I went inside, I found myself in a kitchen full of smoke. I saw my adoptive older sister, Sonia, wearing a crazy mermaid dress (look up "Ever After High Way Too Wonderland" by "MoseJays" on "DeviantArt") & sitting on a stool, feeding a crying & sneezing baby, & her best friend, Mindy, wearing a white bonnet, a white apron over a brown dress, & black shoes (look up "The Duchess' Cook" by "HewyToonmore" on "DeviantArt"), was was leaning over the fire, stirring a pot of soup & shaking pepper into it. Suddenly, I sneezed, multiple times*
Ayla: There's way too much pepper in that soup, you know!
Duchess (Sonia): If everybody minded there own business, this world would go around a lot faster than it does!
Ayla: That wouldn't be much of an advantage if you ask me. You see, the world takes 24 hours to completely turn on it's axis.
Duchess (Sonia): Speaking of axes, chop off her nose! Pig!
*She said that word do loudly that I jumped. But turned out, she was talking to the baby. I looked at the baby & saw it was a hedgehog with tiny eyes & a nose like a snout. Suddenly, Mindy picked up a pile of dishes & started throwing them at us*
Ayla: Watch what you're doing! You're going to hurt the baby!
*Just then, Sonia tossed the baby to me*
Duchess (Sonia): Here, you can feed the baby if you like. I must get ready to play croquet with the Queen.
*Then she left the room. Mindy just kept throwing dishes at us*
Ayla: If I don't get you out of here, they're going to kill you!
*I ran out of the kitchen as fast as I could*
(Third-Person POV)
*Outside the mansion, the frog footman had just climbed out of the moat when the bridge shot back out. It hit him, causing him to fall back into the moat as Ayla came running out with the baby*
(Ayla's POV)
*As I ran through the woods, the baby started grunting & snorting*
Ayla: You shouldn't grunt like that. It's rude. *it just kept grunting & snorting. I looked closer at the baby & saw it's nose looked more like a snout* Hmm . . . What am I going to do with you when I get home? Maybe Rosie can take care of you. *suddenly, I saw that it had completely turned into a pig. then it wiggled out of my arms & ran off into the woods, still wearing the baby's clothes* Huh. I'll admit it wasn't a very pretty baby, but it makes a cute pig.
