"Logan, my dear, since your shoulder has been healing so well, your doctor believes it's time for you to start physical therapy. This will help strengthen it even further and aid in the complete healing process. Once we're back in Los Angeles, I'll arrange the appointment schedule for you. You'll have quite a few visits to make," Ms. Knight explains.

"Alright, Ms. Knight. Thanks for informing me. Do my parents know about this?" Logan asks.

"Yes, they do. I spoke to them about it on the phone about 30 minutes ago. They're perfectly fine with you going for physical therapy, especially your mom. You know how much she worries about you," Ms. Knight replies.

"One of her biggest concerns is that I might get hurt or be in danger. I'm worried that her constant worry will prevent her from being healthy and happy enough to focus on her own life," Logan expresses. "Sometimes, her overprotective behavior makes me feel like she doesn't think I can take care of myself."

"Have you ever talked to her about it?" Camille inquires.

"Of course I have, but all she says is that I'm her only child, her baby boy, her LogieBear. She knows I don't like that nickname, yet she refuses to stop calling me that," Logan sighs. "I appreciate her caring nature and her protectiveness. Some kids don't have that kind of relationship with their moms, or even have moms at all. I love my mom dearly, but I do wish she could tone down her overprotectiveness a bit."

"There's no chance of that happening. Your mom is who she is, and nothing will change her," Kendall remarks.

"It frustrates me that you're right. I have to accept that she will always be this way," Logan admits.

"We should indulge in the pleasures of the beach today," Carlos suggests.

"Engage in whatever activities you desire on the beach. As for me, I shall partake in the art of meditation," Logan declares.

"Once again? What is the reason behind this?" James inquires.

"Meditation is a balm for the mind and soul, James," Logan explains.

"I fail to comprehend," James admits.

"I do not expect you to," Logan responds, concluding his orange juice and tidying up his dishes in the sink. "We may be as close as brothers, but we need not share the same interests. You have your own path, and I shall revel in my own. We can coexist harmoniously without having identical preferences." With that, he walks away to prepare for a refreshing shower.

"At times, I find it difficult to comprehend his actions," James sighs.

"However, he speaks the truth, James. You and Logan are complete opposites when it comes to your preferences. You thrive in physical activities, while he thrives in mental stimulation. It is perfectly acceptable that you have no interest in yoga. He will not hold it against you," Camille reassures.

"I understand, Cami, but it would be marvelous if we could discover a shared passion," James expresses.

"Both of you enjoy video games and skateboarding," Katie points out.

"That is indeed true, my dear friend, but alas, we possess divergent perspectives on the art of deriving pleasure from such activities. While he finds solace in the realm of educational video games, I, on the other hand, revel in the exhilaration of action-packed video games that involve intense combat and explosive encounters. Furthermore, he exhibits a cautious demeanor whilst engaging in the sport of skateboarding, whereas I derive immense satisfaction from executing audacious and perilous maneuvers. Alas, it appears that we shall forever remain at odds, unable to discover a common ground upon which to unite our disparate preferences," James articulates with a hint of resignation.

"Fear not, my dear companion, for I assure you that a revelation awaits you. You shall astound yourself when you come to the realization of the profound similarities that exist between you and Logan. Ponder upon this notion, my friend," Kendall asserts, sinking his teeth into a succulent apple.

"Very well, I shall indeed contemplate upon this matter," James concedes, his curiosity piqued.

"Do you suppose that his arm is causing him distress, and he is concealing his pain so as not to burden us with worry?" Carlos inquires.

"Given his unbearably obstinate nature, it would not surprise me in the least if he were to mask his suffering from our prying eyes," Kendall remarks, his voice tinged with a mixture of concern and understanding.

After an hour, everyone heads out to the beach. Logan, seeking some solitude, finds a secluded spot where he can relax and meditate in peace. Little does he know, Katie has followed him.

"Are you okay?" Katie asks, concerned. "Kendall, James, and Carlos think you're hiding the pain in your arm. Is that true?"

Logan responds, "No, I've taken my pain medicine and I feel perfectly fine. It's insulting that they think I'm hiding something from them."

Katie reassures him, "They're just worried because they know how stubborn you can be."

Logan acknowledges, "I know I can be stubborn at times, but if I were in pain, I would admit it. I genuinely feel fine. If they choose not to believe me, that's their problem, not mine."

Katie supports him, saying, "I believe you, Logan."

"Thanks," Logan appreciates her understanding.

Curious, Logan asks, "Did they send you over here to interrogate me?"

Katie quickly denies it, saying, "No, I came here by choice."

"Good," Logan smiles. "Would you like to join me in my meditation practice?"

Unsure, Katie hesitates and replies, "Um... I'm not sure."

Realizing her reluctance, Logan reassures her, "I'll make it really fun for you. I understand if you're nervous, and if you say no, I won't be upset. I promise."
