Just as the college group leader was about to deliver a cutting remark, a group of police officers burst into the scene, accompanied by McDonald's employees and concerned parents of the children in the play gym area.

"Why did it take so long for help to arrive, Mom?" Kendall inquires urgently.

"None of these employees wanted to step in, which is truly shocking," Ms. Knight replies, her eyes scanning the room. "I witnessed Logan being slapped. Did those despicable college boys harm Katie as well?"

"Yes, Mama Knight. I still feel guilty for not being able to intervene," Carlos confesses.

"It's alright, sweetheart. I'm not angry with you," Ms. Knight reassures him, her voice filled with motherly warmth.

The first officer approaches the college boys, shaking his head in disbelief and disappointment. "It's unsettling to see you find amusement in bullying kids in this sanctuary. What's your goal? To harass children in every restaurant with a play gym area? Taking a little girl's asthma inhaler - was it your intention to keep it from her forever? Your actions are unacceptable. You're college students, you should know better. You're under arrest. Do not resist," he says as he handcuffs the group leader and the other officers arrest the other two boys.

"Do you want to press charges?" he asks the parents of the little girl with the inhaler.

They agree immediately.

"I want to press charges for hurting my daughter and Logan," Ms. Knight adds.

"Very well. You'll need to come down to the station with the parents of the asthmatic girl," the officer informs.

"My daughter is still trapped in the play gym, too distraught to emerge," frets Ms. Knight.

"I'll bring her down, Mama Knight," declares Carlos as he ascends the narrow staircase until he stands beside Katie on the platform. "Katie, it's safe to come down now. Those troublemakers from college have been taken into custody. Mama Knight plans to pursue charges. And the parents of the girl with the asthma inhaler are also filing charges. We need to head down to the police station."

"Are you sure they won't harm me again? I heard them hit Logan. I heard him in pain. Is he alright?" questions Katie.

"He's fine. He's more concerned about you than himself," reassures Carlos.

"Okay," agrees Katie, descending with him.
