At the police station, Katie was waiting in the lobby when Molly, the girl she had defended, approached her.
"Hey, thanks for helping me out with my inhaler. I'm Molly. What's your name?" Molly asked with a warm smile.
"I'm Katie. Nice to meet you, Molly. I can't stand bullies either. I'm just glad I could help you out. You're welcome," Katie replied.
"Is your face still hurting from when they beat you up?" Molly inquired.
"Yeah, it's still sore, but it's getting better. I'll be okay," Katie reassured her.
"That's good to hear," Molly said.
"Logan, how's your face? I know you got slapped pretty hard by those jerks," Katie asked.
"My head is pounding from that slap, but I'll be fine. I'm just relieved that you and Molly are safe. All I want to do now is go home, rest in my own bed, and forget about this day. Any day with bullying is a bad day for me," Logan admitted.
"I think you were really brave to stand up to that college bully who thinks it's okay to pick on younger kids," Camille praised.
"I'm grateful you stepped in, Logan. I don't know if I could've handled him in a fight. He's bigger and older than us. He definitely had the upper hand," Kendall added.
"I had to do something. I didn't want the younger kids to see a fight. We need to show them that violence is never the answer to bullying," Logan explained.
