"I'll kick things off with a word you might recognize," Logan announces as he places the letter tiles on the board.
"Jukebox," James indicates, scanning the tiles.
"What's a jukebox?" Katie inquires with curiosity.
"Well, I suppose you might not be familiar, considering your age. A jukebox is a contraption that plays music, often found in those Wild West towns with a sheriff and a bustling saloon. It's a form of entertainment where you pop a coin in and choose your favorite tunes. You might also spot a jukebox in certain diners, the classic, old-fashioned joints. Or in vintage movies featuring diners," Logan elaborates. "Let me show you a picture of one." With that, he reveals an image on his phone for Katie to explore.
"Wow, is that really what it looks like? It reminds me of that time on SpongeBob when Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy took SpongeBob to a diner and tricked him with a jukebox to ditch him. I thought that was pretty harsh - poor SpongeBob just wanted to hang out with his idols." Katie exclaimed.
"Just a silly cartoon, Katie. No need to take it so seriously. But yes, there was definitely a jukebox in that episode." Logan replied.
"Hey, don't diss SpongeBob - it's a way of life!" Carlos defended passionately.
"Carlos, if you're that fixated on SpongeBob, maybe you need to reassess your priorities." Kendall remarked, rolling his eyes.
"I do not have a problem!" Carlos protested.
"Do too!" Kendall shot back.
And before he could finish his sentence, Carlos was already tackling Kendall to the ground. "It's wrestle time!" he announced proudly, leaving Kendall sighing in defeat.
Camille's eyes widened in alarm as she observed Carlos and Kendall locked in a rough tussle on the floor. "Logan, aren't you going to intervene?"
Logan shrugged, unfazed. "Why should I? They're handling it."
"But they could seriously hurt each other," Camille insisted.
Logan remained composed. "If they were in real pain, one of them would have cried out by now. Trust me, they're fine."
Camille shook her head in disbelief. "Your lack of concern is truly baffling."
"Cami, look at me. I'm not exactly Mr. Muscles over here, and my arm is in a sling. I wouldn't be much help even if I tried. I need to focus on my Scrabble game. Who's up next?" Logan asked.
"Katie, you're on deck. I'm still mulling over my next move," James chimed in.
Katie smiled gratefully. "Thanks, James."
"No problem at all," James replied.
"Enough with the wrestling, boys. Remember, this isn't our home. We need to be mindful of our actions and handle ourselves with caution to avoid any damage," Ms. Knight reminds them.
Feeling exhausted and appreciative, lying beneath Carlos, Kendall expresses his gratitude, "Thank you, mom."
"No worries, Mama Knight," Carlos replies, still brimming with energy.
"Get off me!" Kendall demands.
Carlos promptly stands up and extends a helping hand to Kendall.
