Have taken the Walter character from devastated when the team walked out on him, to isolated by Collins to respected by the scientific community to wealthy to married to having a child. He has a whole new life and is making the most of it. He does not NEED them anymore as he HAS grown up.

The year is 2034, Scorpion has grown and evolved. Paige and Walter return home late one rainy night after finishing a big job for the Japanese government, looking forward to nothing more than sleeping in their own bed. Unfortunately, sleep begins to feel like a distant dream when they discover that a leak in the ceiling has made quite a mess of their bedroom.

AU - 195 What becomes of a genius child who is raised by emotionally distant parents & is further ostracized by them when his good work is perverted into a weapon of war & destruction?
