3 Years after defeating and imprisoning The Hood and his minions, International Rescue's Space monitor: Thunderbird 5, Manned by John Tracy, intercepts multiple distress calls from the town of Chamberlain, Maine, that a terrible disaster is happening, starting from an uncontrollable fire in the Thomas Ewen High School Prom, to the entire town being practically destroyed by an unknown force, resulting in many fatal casualties. John immediately reports the distress calls to Tracy Island, where his father: Jeff Tracy, and his brothers: Scott, Virgil, Alan & Gordon, along with Alan's friends: Fermat & Tin-Tin, all suit up…
Thunderbirds 1 & 2 are launched and fly over to Chamberlain to help. Jeff, Virgil & Gordon, aboard T2, tackle fires around the school and nearby streets, while Scott, Alan, Fermat & Tin-Tin, aboard T1, scout the town, searching for the cause of the disaster…
Once the school fires are extinguished, Virgil & Gordon tend to wounded, while Jeff questions the survivors about what happened, including Sue Snell & Rita Desjardin, who reluctantly claim, along with many others, that the Prom Queen Carrie White caused the disaster, with some unknown power, due to a prank from her tormentors, Led by Chris Hargensen, Just as Scott from T1 radios in, witnessing a girl in a blood soaked Prom Dress, attacking the car of Chris Hargensen & Billy Nolan…
