Dear "Void Reader",

You have gloriously missed the entire point. You need to understand something. I created and introduced Slater for a reason. And that reason is that, unlike every other evil team introduced in the anime, Team Rocket is still around. After so long, I knew that just maybe, someone felt the need to defeat them already. But I designed Slater to be someone capable of doing exactly that. And I will be clear on one thing: Slater is not working for someone evil. The people he's getting instructions from, their only goal is to defeat Team Rocket, but neither they or Slater have ulterior motives, and they will do it the right way. Plain and simple. End of story. And Slater actually can combat Team Rocket properly. They're a mafia, not terrorists. And youngsters thwarting evil teams has been a staple of this franchise for how long now? Slater actually knows what he's doing. I designed him that way. And he is not some kind of temper case. I hope you realize that I wrote the last chapter in response to you.

Let's let this be the last time I have to say this.

We now catch up to our heroes, on their way to their next destination of Orbarrow City.

The area the group was walking through was only sparsely inhabited by trees, or even Pokémon. It seemed like a drier portion of land, full of brown dirt and grass.

"Man, not much to see around here, is there?" said Ash.

"No," said RotomDex, pulling up his map, "but my map does say there's a small town nearby."

"Oh, good," said Serena. "Looks like it's getting late anyway. We should head there to rest for the night."

Suddenly, the group heard a noise. They looked behind them to see two Pokémon running by. The first one looked like a cockroach, its body a lighter shade of black, its face gray, and possessing multiple arms and a devilish smirk on its face. The second Pokémon had a yellow lower half and a white upper half, and resembled a quokka. It had yellow pouches on its cheeks, rounded ears, and a long tail with a lightning bolt at the end. The cockroach Pokémon was holding up a large Oran Berry, and running away from the angry quokka Pokémon with it.

"Roachoid! Roachoid!" it mocked.

"Watt! Quokkawatt!" the quokka Pokémon said.

"Hey, that Pokémon is stealing!" said Ash.

"Well, that's not nice!" said Serena, as she quickly whipped out a PokéBall and threw it. Out popped Braixen, who Serena ordered to use Flamethrower. Braixen shot a torrent of flames at the bug Pokémon, blasting it back onto the ground. Quickly, Serena ran over pick the Berry it dropped up. "Why don't you pick on somebody your own size, huh?"

Annoyed, the bug Pokémon quickly got up and attacked with Struggle Bug. Braixen quickly waved its staff again to create an Ember effect to destroy the attack, before firing another Flamethrower, and the bug Pokémon was forced to retreat.

"Awesome! Nice job, Braixen," said Serena. She then saw the other Pokémon and knelt down to it, saying, "Sorry about that. Here's this back."

The Pokémon was looking up to her in awe, before it jumped up and down and suddenly hugged Serena.

"Oof, uh, you're welcome," Serena added before the Pokémon quickly took the Berry and ate it.

"Who's that Pokémon, RotomDex?" said Ash.

RotomDex quickly did a scan and said, "Quokkawatt. The Static Pokémon. An Electric Type. Quokkawatts are very social with other species of Pokémon and humans. They prefer to laze around in the trees, but like to wander around and invade public spaces. Does not evolve."

"Heh, well, it's a cute little guy, I'll give it that!" said Serena, petting its head. The Quokkawatt, feeling this, quickly turned to jump onto Serena, running all over her body in excitement.

"Hey, cut it out!" Serena said as she finally caught the Pokémon between her hands. That didn't stop it from moving, though, and it kept waving its limbs around, cheering, "Quokka, quokka!"

"Hey, that's a nice shot!" said RotomDex as he quickly switched to camera mode and took a picture. "What do you think? I've seen a bunch of pictures like this over the web lately! People love taking shots with Quokkawatts!"

Everyone looked at the photo, and while Ash and Vernon were impressed, Serena was a little embarrassed by the look on her own face. It looked so exasperated, struggling with the energetic Pokémon.

"Uh, can you maybe delete that one?" said Serena.

"Nah, I think I'll turn it into my new screensaver!" said RotomDex.

Serena groaned to herself in embarrassment as she turned to see the smiling Quokkawatt on the ground. "Well, we're certainly glad you're alright, but we're gonna head off now, okay?"

The Quokkawatt looked at her with big eyes, but it ran up to her and starting hopping up and down, saying, "Watt, Quokka!"

"No, no, you gotta stay right here," Serena insisted. She and her friends then turned to leave, but the Quokkawatt grinned mischievously and started carefully following them.

The group finally made their way into the town. It wasn't a very big town, only about a dozen buildings, with a Pokémon Center at the center of it. It wasn't quite dark out just yet, though.

"Well, it's not much, but it's good enough to stay the night," said Vernon. "Might as well head into the Pokémon Center and get us some rooms to sleep in."

"Right," nodded Serena. However, she then spied out of the corner of her eye Ash and Pikachu eyeballing a nearby food stand.

"Look, guys! That stand over there, they've got all sorts of weird-looking fruits over there! I wonder what they taste like? I think Pikachu and I are gonna try some."

"Pika," Pikachu agreed.

"Well, okay," said Serena. "Just meet us at the Pokémon Center once you're done."

As Serena, Vernon, and RotomDex all left for the Pokémon Center, Ash and Pikachu made their way to the stand, and approached the woman working it.

"Excuse me?" Ash said. "Those fruits of yours look really good. Do you mind if we had some?"

The woman managing the stand looked at Ash and said, "Well, we're a bit short on fruit right now, but I suppose so. Here, why don't you try one of these?"

She handed Ash a large, pear-shaped fruit that was green with yellow spots, and Ash took it and broke it in half to give one half to himself and the other to Pikachu. They both took a bite and began to gush at the delicious flavor.

"Aw, man, tis is so good!" said Ash.

"Pika!" Pikachu agreed.

"Do you have anymore? Maybe I can bring some back for my friends."

"Oh, I'm sorry, but I don't know if we have a lot of fruit to go around," said the woman.

"Hmm? You keep saying you don't have a lot. But why is that?" Ash asked.

Before the woman could answer, Pikachu suddenly cried out. Ash turned his head to see a Roachoid holding Pikachu's half of the fruit. It taunted Pikachu by saying, "Roachoid, roachoid!" before jumping down from the stand to run for it.

"Hey, what's the big idea?" said Ash. As Pikachu jumped down from the stand, Ash called out, "Give it a Thunderbolt, Pikachu!"

"Pi-ka-chu!" Pikachu shot out a bolt of electricity that hit the Roachoid dead on, but it didn't seem to phase it. Before it could retaliate, Ash commanded, "Quick, use Iron Tail!" Pikachu's tail turned metallic silver and quickly batted the Roachoid away. Pikachu quickly grabbed the fruit half back as the injured Roachoid turned to run.

"So this Roachoid really tried to steal some fruit from you guys?" said Serena. By now, it was dark out, and Ash and Pikachu had joined the others in their room in the Pokémon Center.

"Yeah, but that's not all," said Ash. "The lady at the stand said they were running low on fruit for their stand for some reason."

"Hang on, didn't we see a Roachoid trying to steal a Berry from that Quokkawatt from earlier?" said RotomDex.

"You're right!" said Serena, before she thought of something. "You guys don't think-"

Suddenly, the group heard a small ruckus coming from outside. They looked out the window, and could vaguely make out the lady from the fruit stand yelling at something.

"Hey, I think something's attacking the fruit stand out there!" said Ash. "C'mon, we should get out there and help!"

"Right!" nodded Serena as they all ran out of the room and outside.

As they made it outside, they saw several different Roachoids all holding up fruit from the stand. However, they were joined but some housefly-looking Pokémon, who had swirly, compound eyes, hairy bodies, and curved mouths.

Seeing these new Pokémon, RotomDex quickly scanned them and said, "Buzzfly, the Buzzing Pokémon. A Bug and Poison type. Buzzflys tend to gather together in large groups wherever a large amount of waste has appeared. Unfortunately, they sometimes try to take unattended food, and can leave an unhealthy residue behind. Evolves into Mosqueedle at level 25."

"Pikachu, quick, use an Iron Tail!" said Ash. Pikachu jumped up and swatted most of the bug Pokémon away.

"You can help out, too, Floattery!" said Vernon, throwing a PokéBall. "Use Thundershock!" As Floattery appeared, it unleashed yellow electricity on the many bug Pokémon.

"I'll help too!" said Serena, but just as she was about to pull out a PokéBall, a huge surge of yellow bolts of electricity hit everything around the stand. Serena looked on confused before she suddenly saw the Quokkawatt from before landing in front of her.

"What?" said Serena. "What on Earth are you doing here?" However, the Quokkawatt ignored her and unleashed another attack, another Discharge to be precise, to wipe out most of the bug Pokémon. Unfortunately, its attack ended up hitting Serena and knocking her onto her back.

"Hey, watch the friendly-fire, would you!?" said Serena. The Quokkawatt looked back to see her, and sheepishly rubbed the back of its neck. However, they then heard a small screech, and they looked over to see a larger Roachoid jumping up on the stand, crossing its top legs and grinning in a mocking manner.

RotomDex decided to quickly scan this Pokémon. "Roachoid. The Bug Armor Pokémon. A Bug Type. Roachoids are considered obnoxious pests as they steal all sorts of food and shiny things. Their thick armor allows them to withstand all sorts of damage. Evolves into Iroach when leveled up while knowing Iron Defense."

The Roachoid raised a large basket of fruit above its head, and threw it over at the Quokkawatt. However, Pikachu quickly interfered by swatting the fruit away with Iron Tail.

"Quick, Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!" said Ash. Pikachu aimed a large bolt of electricity at the Roachoid and blasted it, but the Roachoid took it and stood up straight unphased.

"Man, this guy's tough!" said Ash. The Roachoid grinned and shot a Struggle Bug attack. Four different green beams shot off from its body and pummeled poor Pikachu.

"Shake it off, Pikachu. Use Iron Tail!" Pikachu got back up and smacked the Roachoid back, but the bug Pokémon quickly got up, still unfazed.

"Man, how do we knock this guy down?" Ash wondered aloud to himself. Then, as if to answer him, another huge burst of electricity zapped everything around the fruit stand. Unfortunately, this included Ash and Pikachu, who nearly fell to the ground. That was when the attacker, the Quokkawatt, landed in front of the Roachoid, as if to challenge it.

However, as the Roachoid stood up after the Discharge attack had hurt it, it only laughing at the Quokkawatt, and geared up for another attack. The Quokkawatt braced itself, but suddenly, a PokéBall came soaring in through the air, tapping the Roachoid and pulling it inside before landing on the ground.

Everyone looked over to see Ash running up to the ball. He stared at it intensely as it shook, but suddenly, it clicked.

"Alright!" said Ash, picking up the ball. "It worked!"

All the other bug Pokémon suddenly began to crowd around the fruit stand once again, but before any of them could do anything, Quokkawatt suddenly jumped into the air and unleashed yet another Discharge. It blasted all the bug Pokémon back, and this time, it stung them so much they finally started to run off.

"Watt! Watt! Quokkawatt!" said Quokkawatt, celebrating its victory.

"Yeah," said an approaching Serena, who, along with her friends where pretty badly singed. "Good job."

Who's that Pokémon?

It is so timid, it won't move unless it's in a group. They can secrete fluids with certain scents that convey how they are feeling.

"Thank you kids so much for helping my fruit stand," said the owner of the stand. "You have no idea how annoying those bug Pokémon have been."

"Are you saying that these bug Pokémon have been giving you trouble for a long time now?" said RotomDex.

"I'm afraid so," said the owner. "Unfortunately, there's just getting to be too many of them around here. And they just can't resist the temptation to steal all or food. I just don't know what we're going to do. Every vendor in town has been plagued by them."

"Man, that's terrible," said Ash. Feeling a nudge in his pocket, he pulled out the PokéBall he had used to catch the Roachoid. "Well, I guess you at least have one less to worry about."

"You know, Roachoids are a very unruly species of Pokémon," said the owner. "I'd care for that one very carefully."

"I'll try, ma'am."

"Anyway, thanks again for the help," said the owner. "Especially to your Quokkawatt there."

As she turned to leave, Serena tried calling after her, "Huh, no, it's not our Quokkawatt-"

"Quokka!" The Quokkawatt suddenly leapt onto her head from behind, still celebrating its victory, and Serena nearly stumbled backwards startled.

Soon, it was daytime again, and the group decided to just take a rest from the craziness of the previous night by heading outside. They found a small piece of grass, and Ash decided it was time to test something.

"Okay, come on out!" he said, throwing the PokéBall in the air, and letting out the Roachoid.

"Roachoid, roachoid, roach," Roachoid said, its arms crossed and its eyes turned away from Ash's.

"Hey, look at me, Roachoid," said Ash.

"You sure you can get this little guy to listen to you, Ash?" said RotomDex.

"Hey, if it's my Pokémon now, it's my responsibility," said Ash. "Now, let me see how well it listens. Hey, Roachoid, look at me!"

Roachoid finally made eye contact with Ash, but after staring at him for about a second, it grinned mischievously, before shooting a Struggle Bug attack up into the air, causing it to rain down on everyone, who were barely able to dodge it.

"Ugh, well, we're off to a great start," said Ash. He looked up to see Roachoid trying to wander away, and he stood up to catch it. "Hey, where are you going? Get back here!" He put his hand on Roachoid's back, causing Roachoid to turn and face him before suddenly knocking him to the ground with an Iron Head attack. As Ash fell to the ground, Roachoid fell onto its back, laughing itself silly.

"I think you've got your work cut out for you, Ash," said Vernon.

Off to the side, as Serena watched all this, she saw something out of the corner of her eye. She looked over to see some of the bushes shaking, before she gasped in fear. And sure enough, out of that bush popped Quokkawatt, who jumped into her, knocking her down.

"Aw, man, I thought you finally left," Serena moaned.

"Quokka, quokkawatt!" said Quokkawatt, jumping up and down on Serena.

"Man, I think that Quokkawatt has really taken a shine to you, Serena," said RotomDex.

"What for?" said Serena. "I know, I helped you out, you're welcome. But can't you just leave me alone already?"

Suddenly, a voice shouting, "Roachoid," got Quokkawatt's attention. It looked over to see Roachoid making dirty looks at it, its arms crossed and a smug expression on its face. Quokkawatt got angry as it jumped off of Serena and tried blasting it with a Discharge attack. However, Roachoid was hardly fazed, and it used Struggle Bug. Quokkawatt tried to counter with another Discharge, and this resulted in a small explosion, knocking everyone else to the ground, ash all over their faces.

"Man, are all the Pokémon around these parts this unruly?" said Ash.

"Pika, pika," Pikachu moaned.

Suddenly, everyone heard a small commotion from the town. Curious, they all stood up and walked over to check it out.

It's Ledyba!

The group walked up to the townspeople all gathered around the lady with the fruit stand from last night.

"It's okay, everyone," said the lady. "After all that's happened, I think this may indeed be our best solution."

"Are you sure you wanna call those guys?" said a man.

"Yeah, I don't think I trust them all that much," said another man.

"They made a promise to us to help deal wit these kinds of Pokémon problems," the lady said. "I say it's worth a try."

"Huh?" said Serena. "Hey, what are you guys talking about?"

The lady looked at her and explained, "I'm afraid these bug Pokémon have been a nuisance for long enough. That's why we'll be calling in these people to help us finally deal with it." She help up a piece of paper, and the group was shocked to see that it advertised Team Shade.

"Team Shade!?" said Vernon.

"No, no, no," said Ash. "You guys can't call Team Shade! They're nothing but trouble!"

"Yeah!" said Serena. "They don't care about helping anyone! All they ever want to do is hurt Pokémon!"

"We have no choice!" said the lady. "At this rate, we won't have any food left!"

Ash paused before he said, "Hang on, what if we helped deal with all these bug Pokémon for you?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean we can track these Pokémon down, and then we can capture them safely to take them somewhere else."

"Yeah, we know someone who'll help with that, without hurting any of the Pokémon!" said RotomDex. "They all work at Professor Acacia's lab!"

"Acacia?" said the lady. "Well, I suppose he is an expert. Alright, we'll let you kids try. Just try not to make any more trouble, okay?"

"You can count on us, ma'am!" Ash said.

"So, how should we find these Pokémon anyway?" said Vernon.

"I have an idea," said Ash. "I think we can make Roachoid here led us to where they're all hiding."

"You sure Roachoid will help us?" said Serena.

"Only one way to find out," said Ash. He walked over to where Roachoid was still sitting, and knelt down to it. "Roachoid, we need your help."

Roachoid looked at him only half-interested, but Ash continued, "Please, the people of this town can't keep losing all their food. But they might end up calling Team Shade, and then those guys will do something terrible to all your old friends. If you can show us where your friends are hiding, I promise we'll help them all go to someplace they can still be happy, just without bothering anyone else."

Roachoid looked at Ash with mild interest, but after a long pause, it suddenly knocked poor Ash over with another Iron Head. Ash groaned as he sat up, only to see Roachoid scurrying away.

"Hey, wait, come back!" Ash said, he and Pikachu running behind it.

"Ash, wait!" said Serena, before suddenly, she was stopped by Quokkawatt.

"Quokkawatt! Quokka, quokka!" it hopped up and down, looking concerned.

"What? What are you trying to say?" said Serena.

"Hold up, I think it's trying to tell us something," said RotomDex.

"Watt, watt, Quokkawatt!" Quokkawatt insisted, moving its arms in a specific direction.

"Hang on, I think it knows where the bug Pokémon are hiding!" said RotomDex.

"Really?" said Vernon. Quokkawatt suddenly started running off in a direction similar to where Roachoid, Ash, and Pikachu had run off.

"C'mon, I say we follow it," said Vernon. "Maybe we can find Ash and Pikachu along the way." He and RotomDex followed after Quokkawatt, as Serena sighed and followed as well.

Ash and Pikachu struggled to keep up with Roachoid, only to see it suddenly hop over a small ridge. Curious, the two looked over, and were surprised to see a congregation of bug Pokémon sitting underneath. Several Roachoids and Buzzflys all sat around, dining on the food they'd collected lately.

"Well, what do you know?" said Ash. "Looks like Roachoid led us to them after all. C'mon, Pikachu, we can let the people at the Professor's lab know about this, and they can have them relocated in a jiffy!"

"Pika, pi!" said Pikachu.

"Roachoid," came another voice. Ash and Pikachu turned to see Roachoid, suddenly sitting next to them, its arms folded once more.

"Uh, hey, Roachoid," said Ash. "You won't cause any more trouble, will you?"

Roachoid only stared at him for a second, before it grinned and kicked a pebble off of the ridge, causing it to land down in the middle of the bug Pokémon. This caused the bug Pokémon to look up, and become angry upon seeing Ash and Pikachu up there.

"Aw, come on!" said Ash. He and Pikachu quickly backed away from the ridge to try to run, while Roachoid chuckled to itself. However, that amusement was short-lived as it was suddenly knocked back by a Struggle Bug attack. It looked up to see another Roachoid standing above it accusingly.

"Roachoid, roach, roach," it complained.

"Oid, Roachoid!" the other Roachoid said. It seemed as though it was accusing Roachoid of leading Ash and Pikachu here.

It then prepared another Struggle Bug attack, but then, it was blasted back by a Thunderbolt. Roachoid turned to face Ash and Pikachu running up to join it. "He, why don't you pick on someone your own size?"

"Pikachu!"

Roachoid looked up to Ash in surprise, but Ash looked back down at it to say, "It's okay, we've got your back!"

Roachoid was stunned, but then nodded and stepped in front of Ash, unleashing a Struggle Bug attack. It beat a good portion of the bug Pokémon back, but there were more coming.

That was right about when Serena, Vernon, RotomDex, and Quokkawatt arrived. Seeing all the bug Pokémon surrounding Ash, Pikachu, and Roachoid, Serena gasped, "Oh, no! We gotta do something to help them!"

She attempted to run up to help them, but Quokkawatt suddenly got in the way, its cheeks lighting up with electricity. Quickly, it released another Discharge, but unfortunately, the bug Pokémon were far enough away that the electricity only hit Serena, Vernon, and RotomDex.

"Oh, come on!" said Serena. "You know what, forget it! I'm doing this myself!"

Annoyed, Serena ran up towards the ledge, but Quokkawatt stared after her, before gaining a determined expression and following.

Up on the ledge, Pikachu unleashed a Thunderbolt to knock back some of the approaching bug Pokémon, but there were just getting to be too many of them. As soon as Serena made it up onto the ledge to help them, a Buzzfly noticed and suddenly spat up a Sludge Bomb to attack her. Serena saw this too late to dodge and braced for impact, only for a small, yellow blur to jump in front of her, taking the hit. Serena looked down to see Quokkawatt, slowing getting back up after that hit, but also noticing the plume of dirt that it made come up from the ground.

"Quokkawatt? You-"

Serena didn't get much time to talk because all the bug Pokémon used Struggle Bug again. Seeing this, Quokkawatt looked down at the dirt it had made plume up, and had an idea. Quickly, it started kicking the dirt all over Serena, Ash, Piakchu, and Roachoid.

"Pfft, Quokkawatt, waht are you-" Serena started, before Quokkawatt then jumped up, unleashing another Discharge, countering all the Struggle Bug attacks. After that, it landed and used Discharge again, hitting all the bug Pokémon at once. And thanks to the dirt, Ash, Serena, Roachoid, and Pikachu, weren't hurt by the electricity.

"Whoa," said Serena, actually impressed. "Not bad."

Ash looked down at Roachoid, who was staring at the other bugs intensely. Suddenly, its eyes glowed blue, and it sent white rings out of them to hit a Buzzfly, which caused it to fall asleep.

"Whoa, you know Hypnosis?" said Ash.

"Hey, I have an idea!" said Serena before looking down at Quokkawatt. "Quokkawatt, I want you to use Discharge to lure them all in, okay?"

Quokkawatt nodded, running up to the bug Pokémon before unleashing another Discharge attack, hitting all the bug Pokémon at once. This caused them to get angry, and they all ran up to Quokkawatt at once, trying to surround it. Quokkawatt's cheeks sparked with electricity as it prepared for another attack, but fortunately, thet wouldn't be necessary.

"Now, Roachoid, use Hypnosis and put them all to sleep!" said Ash. Roachoid jumped in front of Quokkawatt and used Hypnosis again, spinning around to make its waves hit all the bug Pokémon, putting them all to sleep.

"Yeah!" Serena cheered. "We did it!"

Quickly, she was greeted by an excited Quokkawatt, who jumped into her arms, knocking her to the ground, and cheering, "Watt! Watt! Quokkawatt!"

Serena was almost annoyed at being knocked to the ground, but instead, she decided to smile. "Yeah, thank you, Quokkawatt. You did it! I gotta say, covering us all with dirt to protect us from your Discharge? That was really smart! And hey, thanks for taking that Sludge Bomb for me. You know, you might be a little better than I gave you credit for."

"Watt, Watt!" Quokkawatt said, jumping up and down on Serena.

Meanwhile, Ash knelt down to Roachoid, and said, "Hey, you really came through for us, you know. I don't really think you're as mean as you pretend to be."

Roachoid looked at Ash with a raised eyebrow, but Ash continued. "You know, I think we make a good team. I know we got off on the wrong foot, but I'll give this a second chance if you will."

Roachoid looked back towards the Bug Pokémon sleeping on the ground. It knew they didn't want anything to do with it anymore. It then looked back up to Ash, who was giving it a reassuring smile. Sighing, it motioned for Ash and Pikachu to follow it as it then began walking down the ledge.

"Alright then!" said Ash, following it. "Welcome to the team, Roachoid!"

"Come on," said Serena, standing up. "I think it's time to make a phone call."

In the middle of the town, many people wearing lab coats, all coming from Professor Acacia's lab, carried large cages of the bug Pokémon into a van to load them up. As our heroes and the townsfolk watched, one of them walked up to all of them and said, "Alright, folks, I think that's the last of them. Don't worry. We promise we'll relocate them humanely to a new home where they can't cause anymore trouble, okay?"

"That's great, thanks for the help!" said Ash.

"Yes, thank you," said a person from the town. "We can't tell you how grateful we are to finally have this mess sorted out."

"Just promise us you'll try to avoid giving that nasty Team Shade a call," said the person in the lab coat. "I promise you, they are nothing but trouble."

After that, the people from Acacia's lab left in the van, the bug Pokémon in the back, as Vernon said, "Well, I figure we should head out now."

"I agree," said Ash, before he suddenly noticed something. He looked down at his belt and noticed a PokéBall was missing. "Hey, where'd Roachoid go?" He then heard a noise and looked over to see Roachoid sitting on the ground, nibbling away at a Berry.

"Hey, what do you think your doing?" said Ash, running over. "That's not yours!" However, Roachoid quickly sat up, running away, chortling with the Berry still in its hands.

Serena watched this and sighed to herself. "Man, Ash sure is gonna have his hands full with that one, isn't he?" However, that was when she felt something fall from her own belt, and turned around to see Quokkawatt sitting on the ground, holding one of her PokéBalls, and staring at it with an excitable look on its face.

"Huh? Quokkawatt? What are you-" said Serena before she suddenly dawned with realization. "Wait, no, you don't have to-"

But Quokkawatt pushed the button, causing the PokéBall to to pull it inside, and then shake three times before clicking.

Serena looked at the ball shocked before she finally picked it up, and that was when Quokkawatt burst out of the ball, landing on her head and hugging it.

"Watt, watt, Quokkawatt!"

"Wow, it looks like Quokkawatt really likes you, Serena," said RotomDex. "It wants to come with you!"

"Oh, heh, lucky me," Serena moaned as the excited Pokémon celebrated on her head.

Looks like both Ash and Serena are going to have their hands full with their new teammates! But that's okay, because if anyone can train Roachoid and Quokkawatt to reach their true potentials, it's these two! More to come, as the journey continues!

TO BE CONTINUED...

I've been going through a lot of stuff lately, so I apologize if it feels like I'm slowing down lately.
