Authors Note: The timeline in this AU is compressed compared to the 15 year time period between the first season, and now (like what was stated in the beginning of the reboot). Instead, that time gap is shortened to 5 years. So, every contestant is around 21 years old. Also, the canon winners are as follows:
Owen won Island
Beth won Action
Alejandro won World Tour

-

Chris is standing on a dock, facing the camera, and smiling. His location doesn't look like an island we've seen on the show before, but it vaguely resembles Wawanakwa.

"Island. Action. World Tour. Revenge of The Island. All Stars. Pahkitew. Reboot. Reboot Rematch. And now… An Island rematch! You heard me right. We're bringing back the original twenty-two campers who started it all, even Ezekiel! You all know how this works, so let's not waste any time! I'm your host, Chris McLean, and this is… TOTAL. DRAMA. ISLAND. REDONE!"

-
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous! I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!

"Contestants should be arriving in the order that they were eliminated in the original season." Chris explains. "Which means-" Chris is cut off by the sound of a loud boat motor. The screen cuts to Ezekiel, who silently steps off his boat. His skin is a pale green, but otherwise, he seems to have reverted back to being a functioning human being.

"Hello… Ezekiel. How has life been treating you?" Chris reluctantly asks, fearing a hostile response. Instead, Ezekiel just shyly looks at the ground and mumbles a response. "Fine…"

"Oh. I expected you to lash out at me for my show being the reason you turned feral!" Chris replies. Ezekiel just shrugs.

"Well then, you can stand over there." Chris says. He points to the opposite end of the dock. Ezekiel obliges, and slumps over there.

"Coming up is someone who wasn't even the second boot, but his placement got pushed back because of a rejoin… It's Noah!" Chris exclaims. Noah walks into frame, seeming uninterested.

"Way to add salt to the wound." Noah snarkily says.

"So Noah, how are you going to win Total Drama Island Redone?" Chris asks.

"Being realistic, I probably won't. But, I'm going to try to succeed in what your lame-o newgen contestant "Mary Kate" couldn't." Noah replies.

"By… Cheating?" Chris raises an eyebrow.

"No genius, flying under the radar. I'm obviously not the biggest threat in town, so I think I can merge with ease if I try at least a decent amount." Noah explains.

"Boooooring." Chris yawns.

"Sorry for not being a strategic mastermind." Noah sarcastically adds, rolling his eyes.

"Go stand by Ezekiel." Chris dryly commands. Noah obliges and rolls his luggage over by Ezekiel.

Chris stands in place for a few moments, staring into the distance with a smile. He hasn't even noticed that Justin is on the dock, standing right behind him. "Um, Chris?" Justin says, trying to get his attention. Chris turns around, finally noticing that Justin has arrived.

"Oh, Justin! Sorry, I didn't realize you arrived! Usually when you're around, that dreamy music plays in the background. Why didn't it play?" Chris wonders.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." Justin states.

"Ok then… Just go over there." Chris bluntly says, pointing to the other end of the dock.

"You have nothing to say to me? No questions about how my life has been? Updated status on my modeling career?" Justin rants.

"No, not really." Chris replies. Justin frowns and makes his way over to the opposite end of the dock. Noah and Ezekiel glare at him. When the screen pans back to Chris, Katie is there too.

"Welcome back to Total Drama! It's been a while for you, hasn't it?" Chris comments.

"I'm totes excited to finally be back!" Katie exclaims.

"Are you sad you couldn't ride in the same boat as Sadie?" Chris asks.

"Eh, not really." Katie answers. Chris seems shocked by that, considering that they previously couldn't go one moment without being by each other's side.

"Interesting…" Chris says. "Go stand with the others." Katie nods and takes her luggage over to the other side of the dock.

"Hey guys!" Katie kindly greets the others. "Who else is stoked to-" Suddenly, a loud BANG silences Katie. She turns around and sees that Tyler has landed face-first onto the dock.

"Nice landing, dude!" Chris laughs. Tyler gets up and his face turns red from embarrassment.

"I shouldn't have attempted that frontflip…" Tyler admits.

"Haha, ya think? Go over there by the others." Chris says. Tyler brushes himself off and exits the screen, doing as Chris commanded. Following right behind is Cody, who steps off his boat and onto the dock.

"Cody. The Codester. The Codemitester!" Chris reiterates.

"Deja Vu?" Cody wonders.

"Eh, I've probably said it before. I repeat phrases a lot." Chris says.

"Well anyway, it's sweet to be back! And no Sierra! WOOHOO!" Cody cheers.

"You do realize Sierra will watch this, right?" Chris informs.

"Oh… Right. Can you cut that out of the episode?" Cody pleads.

"Sure thing!" Chris winks at the camera, signifying that he lied. "Now please join the others on the opposite end of the dock." Cody does as he's told.

"Rounding out the Screaming Gophers losing streak… It's Beth!" Chris announces as Beth walks into frame.

"I won't pick up any tiki dolls and curse my team this time, I promise!" Beth swears.

"Sure you won't…" Chris says in a doubtful tone. "Quick question. Do you think that your status as a finalist will make you a target?" Chris asks.

"Oh for sure! I'm going to have to fight for my life every round if I want to make it to the end! It's a tough game out there Chris, you wouldn't get it." Beth answers.

"And I'm fine with that. Now, go stand by the others." The screen pans to everyone else who has arrived. Nobody seems to acknowledge Beth besides Katie, who enthusiastically waves. Beth walks into frame and waves back. The screen then cuts back to Chris.

"Arriving next is the girl who was in 11 episodes before being eliminated, yet only had screen time in 5 of them… We have Sadie!" Chris announces. Sadie claps her hands and jumps off her boat and onto the dock.

"For the record, I wasn't an irrelevant flop by choice! When Katie got out, I actually formed a semi-close bond with Harold!" Sadie reveals.

"Yeah, no wonder the producers cut out all of your scenes." Chris bluntly states.

"What does that imply!?" Sadie wants to know.

"Doesn't matter. Just go say hi to Katie already, okay?" Chris requests.

"No thanks, I don't want to talk to her." Sadie turns around and drags her luggage to the other end of the dock, avoiding eye contact with Katie in the process.

"What was that about?" Beth asks.

"Me and Sadie aren't on… The best terms right now." Katie admits.

"You got that right!" Sadie retorts, still not looking in Katie's direction. The screen pans back to the opposite end of the dock, where Courtney has arrived and is approaching Chris.

"Hello Chris." Courtney greets.

"Hey Courtney! Hope you don't get rigged out this time, haha!" Chris jokes.

"Very funny. I sure hope you've come up with a less riggable method of casting votes this time. Have us verbalize our vote to make it official, or bring back to tablets from Action!" Courtney rants.

"Relax, relax. We'll make sure no funny business happens this time around." Chris reassures. "Now go over there, I can see the next boat coming." Chris points to the opposite end of the dock. Courtney begins to make her way there.

"That'd be Harold if I'm not mistaken. Him getting out right after me. HA! Serves him right for rigging me out. Karma's a-" Courtney is cut off by the screen shifting to Chris and Harold.

"So psyched to be back!" Harold says with enthusiastic intention, but is vocalized with his typical emotionless way of speaking.

"No need to be sarcastic." Chris says, slightly annoyed.

"But I wasn't being-" Harold is cut off by Chris.

"Just go, I'm done talking to you!" Chris barks back.

"Fine, GOSH!" Harold scoffs and rolls his large suitcase offscreen.

"Next up is a one-time player! Her best placement was 12th, it's…" Chris says before the camera pans to Eva's boat. She has a stern look on her face. "Eva!" He finishes. Her boat reaches the dock and she steps off the boat.

"It's great to have you play again, Eva!" Chris says.

"Thanks. This time, the game is mine." Eva replies. Chris is impressed by her confidence, but is a bit skeptical.

"Love the mindset, but you've only survived one campfire ceremony. What makes you think you'll make it all the way this time?" Chris asks.

"I've been working on my temper-" Eva tried to explain, before being cut off.

"Which you've said in the past, yet have not actually improved." Chris points out. Eva's expression turns to one of anger, which scares Chris. She unzips her duffle bag and pulls out a pencil, then proceeds to break it and throw it into the water.

"What… Just happened?" Chris asks, confused.

"It's a rage control technique. I have several of them. Whenever I feel myself getting heated up, I let out my anger on objects instead of people." Eva educates.

"Wow, that's actually kinda smart! Well Eva, I wish you the best of luck in this competition. Go stand by the others." Chris tells Eva. She takes her duffle bag and walks over to the others. People back up as she passes by, not wanting to be near her. The screen pans back to Chris.

"Now arriving… It's Trent!" Chris announces as Trent walks into frame. Crickets can be heard chirping.

"Are those crickets?" Trent asks.

"Huh?" Chris says, pretending to be confused.

"Nevermind." Trent replies. He walks over to the others without Chris telling him he had to.

"Here comes Bridgette!" Chris introduces with enthusiasm. As Bridgette steps into frame, a cheering sound effect plays in the background.

"Oh come on!" Trent moderately yells.

"Where's your surfboard?" Chris wonders.

"Left it at home. No point in bringing it if there's no waves." Bridgette explains.

"What do you mean, there's plenty of waves!" Chris insists. The screen pans to the water, which is perfectly still.

"Point proven, now go!" Chris says while pointing to where the others are standing. Bridgette nods and takes her luggage over there. The screen pans to Lindsay, who is arriving on her boat. The dreamy music that used to play for Justin is now playing for her.

"Okay, stop with the sound effects!" Chris demands indirectly to the offscreen intern that was playing them.

"Hey Chris!" Lindsay greets as she enters the frame.

"You remembered my name? That's a first." Chris voices, shocked by Lindsay's memory.

"I spent a lot of time making sure I wouldn't mess up anyone's name this time!" Lindsay informs. The screen cuts to the other players.

"How much do you wanna bet she messes up on the first day?" Trent whispers to Cody. Seemingly on cue, Lindsay walks into frame and says…

"Hi Cody! Hi Trevor!" Lindsay utters, not realizing she messed up Trent's name, causing Cody to snicker and Trent to frown. The screen cuts back to Chris.

"Everyone's favorite lovable giant, DJ is here! How's it goin' DJ?!" Chris welcomes as DJ enters the frame. DJ doesn't seem excited in the slightest. He looks rather… Nervous?

"T-There's not gonna be any life-threatening challenges this time, r-right?" DJ stutters.

"Set your worries aside, big guy. The challenges this season will take a cue from the more simplistic, and safe, format of the ones in the original TDI!" Chris reassures. This calms DJ down a bit.

"I hope you're right…" DJ dryly voices. "Do I go over here?" DJ points to the others.

"Mhm." Chris hums. DJ takes his luggage and walks offscreen. The screen then pans to Geoff, who seems to be in the opposite mood. He's smiling, dancing, and hooting n' hollering. He jumps off his boat and onto the dock.

"WOO! I'm so excited to be back, dude!" Geoff yells.

"Hey, isn't Izzy supposed to come before you?" Chris questions. Geoff shrugs in response. Suddenly, bubbling can be heard coming from the water. Izzy emerges, flying out of the water and landing on Geoff's shoulders.

"And that's how you make an entrance!" Izzy proclaims. Geoff starts to lose his balance, causing him to rapidly run forward, crashing into a few people in the process. Beth and Ezekiel fall into the water.

"Oops, sorry dudes." Geoff apologizes.

"Hey y'all!" Leshawna shouts from her boat. She steps off and onto the dock. Chris raises his hand to give her a high five, but she simply side eyes him and continues walking, giving several other players high fives instead.

"That is not how you should treat your host!" Chris reprimands.

"Does it look like I give a darn?" Leshawna barks back.

"Hopefully our next contestant will show a bit more respect." Chris says. Duncan walks into frame.

"Do you even know me?" Duncan laughs while walking past Chris.

"Maybe Heather will-" Chris tries to say before being cut off.

"Not in a million years." Heather voices sarcastically while walking past Chris. "And don't expect Gwen to be kind either. She's not exactly your favorite person." Heather mentions.

"We'll see about that!" Chris angrily yells. He watches Gwen's boat pull up. She steps onto the dock and approaches Chris.

"Gwen, I have a question for you." Chris states.

"Uh, sure." Gwen dryly replies.

"Do you respect me?" Chris asks.

"What kind of question is that?" Chris's face lights up when Gwen says this.

"Of course I don't!" Gwen finishes, before walking off to stand by the others. Most people laugh at Gwen's remark, which infuriates Chris. To round out the introductions, Owen is seen arriving on his boat. He jumps onto the dock, which shakes it a bit, causing Ezekiel and Beth to fall into the water again.

"Chris!" Owen yells, running up to Chris and giving him a big hug. "I've missed you!" Chris smiles at the warm welcome Owen gave him. He eventually releases the hug.

"I'm happy to see you too Owen! You know, you've always been my favorite." Chris compliments.

"Awh, thanks dude! I'm so excited!" Owen exclaims. He runs over to everyone else.

"And that's everyone!" Chris announces. "Head to the campfire, and we'll talk about the teams."

_

Cut to everyone sitting by the campfire. There's an orange mat and a blue mat laid out.

"For this season, I thought that it would only make sense if the teams switched up as much as possible. So, one team will have 6 OG gophers and 5 OG bass, while the other team will have 5 OG gophers, and 6 OG bass." Chris explains.

"So we don't get to pick our teams this time?" Trent asks.

"Nope! Just like the original, I've hand-picked the teams!" Chris replies.

[Gwen Confessional] "This could either end really good, or really bad. Most likely the latter."

"If I call your name, stand on the colored mat that I assign you." Chris tells the campers. "Tyler, orange mat. Leshawna, blue mat." Tyler and Leshawna stand up, smirking at each other as they stand on their respective team mats.

"You're goin' down jockey!" Leshawna smack talks.

"Oh yeah! Well, you're going down… Uh… You!" Tyler replies, failing to come up with a good comeback.

"Lindsay on orange, Trent on blue" Chris blurts out, ending the "trash talk" going on.

"HA! I got Lindsay, and you didn't!" Tyler boasts.

"You can have her…" Leshawna mumbles.

[Leshawna Confessional] "I love Lindsay, but she's not exactly the most useful team member to have." Leshawna admits.

"Ezekiel, orange mat. Eva, blue mat." Chris states. Ezekiel walks over to his team mat without saying a word, looking down at the ground. Eva approaches Leshawna, who doesn't seem too happy to have Eva on the team.

"Truce?" Eva offers, extending her arm for a handshake. Leshawna's face is one of shock, but she accepts and shakes Eva's hand.

[Leshawna Confessional] "As much as I don't want to trust Eva, I know she wouldn't have said something like that 5 years ago. Maybe the girl changed…" Leshawna ponders.

[Eva Confessional] "Leshawna is a player with a lot of influence. If I can get her good side, I'll be in a nice position." Eva explains.

"Beth on orange, Harold on blue." Chris announces.

"Yes, same team as Lindsay!" Beth celebrates.

"Yes, same team as Leshawna!" Harold also celebrates. Beth and Harold walk over to their respective mats, and high five the people they're happy to be on the same team as.

"DJ, you're on orange! Izzy, head to blue." Chris says. DJ walks over to his team with a neutral expression, while Izzy does a cartwheel with a big smile over to hers.

"The next member of the orange team is… Courtney." Chris suspensefully announces. Courtney looks at her team, and groans at how bad it is.

[Courtney Confessional] "Tyler, Lindsay, Beth, AND Ezekiel? Could this team be any worse!?" Courtney complains.

"Owen, you're on blue." Chris informs.

"Yes! Same team as Izzy!" Owen celebrates as he runs up to Izzy and throws her up in the air.

"Cody's on orange, Bridgette's on blue." Chris announces. Both walk to their team mat without saying a word. Bridgette seems nervous to be on a team with Eva.

[Bridgette Confessional] "Great. Eva's gonna want me dead!" Bridgette worries.

"Heather, you're on orange. Duncan, blue." Chris states.

"YES!" Courtney blurts out.

"Glad to have me on your team?" Heather teases. Courtney rolls her eyes.

[Courtney Confessional] "Not being on a team with Duncan means that I won't be forced to interact with him! That's a win in my book."

"Next member of orange is Justin. Next member of blue is Gwen." Chris informs the others. Both players join their team without saying a word.

"Hey gorgeous…" Duncan flirts with Gwen, winking at her. She gives him a cold glare in return.

[Gwen Confessional] "Why is he flirting with me? We broke up!" Gwen angrily yells.

"Oh no…" Noah worries.

"What's the matter?" Chris asks.

"The teams have been revealed in boy-girl order. There's only two girls left, being Katie and Sadie."

"So?" Chris replies.

"So… They're going to whine and complain until they get to be on the same team!" Noah says, raising his voice due to annoyance.

"Not true!" Katie blurts out.

"Yeah, I don't want to be on a team with her!" Sadie adds.

"See? Not a big deal!" Chris says.

[Noah Confessional] "They may be on bad terms now, but give it 3 days and they'll be BFFFFFFL's again."

"Well, since Noah figured out the pattern, let's reveal the last 4 all at once. Katie and Geoff, you're on orange. Noah and Sadie, head to blue!" Chris announces. Katie and Sadie glare at each other as they walk to their team mats. "Want to know what the lovely team names are?" Chris asks.

"It's not like we have a choice, soooo… Sure." Gwen answers.

"Alright! From now on, the orange team will be known as… The Screaming Bass! And the blue team will be… The Killer Gophers!" Chris reveals.

"Real creative." Duncan sarcastically insults the bad team names.

"Now that teams have been made, take some time to settle into your cabins. And yes, they are still gender-separated." Chris states, making Cody sigh in disappointment.

_

Screaming Bass: Tyler, Lindsay, Ezekiel, Beth, DJ, Courtney, Cody, Heather, Justin, Katie, Geoff
Killer Gophers: Leshawna, Trent, Eva, Harold, Izzy, Owen, Bridgette, Duncan, Gwen, Noah, Sadie

Cut to the Screaming Bass guys side of the cabin. DJ and Geoff are bunking together, Cody and Tyler bunk together, and Justin and Ezekiel bunk together.

[Justin Confessional] "Being honest with myself, I don't think I'm going to make it very far. So, in order to ensure I'll get as much screen time as possible during my short stay, I'm going to cause some drama…" Justin maliciously rubs his hands together.

"If you're a snorer, I won't hesitate to stuff a pillow in your pie hole." Justin sternly warns Ezekiel. He nervously nods, indicating that he understands.

[Ezekiel Confessional] "I snore…" Ezekiel mumbles, worried.

"There's no need to be so hostile dude! Just chillax." Geoff repromands.

"I was just warning him, yeesh…" Justin snarkily replies.

"Come on guys, there's no need to start arguing already!" DJ says, trying to stop the bickering (even though it sort of already did). The guys unpack in silence for a bit.

"You're not the nicest person in the world either." Justin whispers to himself, referring to Geoff.

"What did you just say about me?" Geoff demands to know.

"Oh nothing, just that you're no perfect angel either. May I remind you of your aftermath persona? Not the nicest guy in the world then, now were you?" Justin remarks.

"Fame corrupts! The person I was then is not the person I am now!" Geoff insists.

"If that were the case, you wouldn't be clapping back at me right now." Justin retorts.

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah!"

"YEAH?"

"YEAH!"

'YEAH?"

"I'm outta here." DJ says before leaving.

"Uhh… Hey Cody, do you wanna toss a football with me?" Tyler asks, trying to find an excuse to leave the cabin.

"Sure!" Cody replies, having the same intention of nonchalantly leaving.

"Can I join too?" Ezekiel requests.

"I'm cool with that." Tyler answers. Cody gives a thumbs up. Ezekiel seems happy to be included, springing up from his bed and leaving the cabin with Tyler and Cody. They spread out in an open field and begin to toss.

"Yo Zeke, just out of curiosity, how did you de-feralize?" Cody asks.

"It was a year of hardcore therapy. I had to relearn everything!" Ezekiel explains. "I still remember everything from being feral. I'm haunted by the memories daily." Tyler tosses the ball to Ezekiel, which he is unable to catch. It bonks him in the head and he falls to the ground.

"I'm still working on coordination." Ezekiel moans.

_

Meanwhile, on the girls side of the Screaming Bass team, Lindsay is painting Katie and Beth's nails, while Courtney and Heather silently unpack.

[Katie Confessional] "I've been getting along well with Lindsay and Beth, and we've only been here for 15 minutes! They're way better than that Sadie flop!"

"How have you and Brady been?" Lindsay asks Beth.

"We're still going strong!" Beth replies. "In fact, we've been living together for the past 6 months!" This information causes Lindsay and Katie to get all doe-eyed, and say "Awww!"

"What happened between you and Sadie?" Beth questions, changing the subject. Katie's smile turns to a frown.

"I don't wanna talk about it." Katie quietly responds. Beth nods, not pressuring Katie to say anything she doesn't want to.

"Do you want me to add sparkles?" Lindsay asks the two of them. Katie and Beth vigorously shake their heads, they WANT the sparkles (because sparkles are awesome). Courtney seems visibly annoyed by how well they're getting along.

[Courtney Confessional] "That trio is insufferable!" Courtney complains. "The only tolerable girl on the team is Heather. HEATHER!" She shouts.

After Heather finishes unpacking, she exits the cabin. Courtney notices this and quickly follows behind, catching up to her.

"Heather!" Courtney yells, trying to get her attention. Heather turns around to face Courtney.

"Hi?" Heather replies, confused as to why Courtney wants to talk to her.

"I'm gonna cut to the chase. I want to form an alliance with you. Courtney blatantly states. Heather's eyes widened, shocked by Courtney's request.

[Heather Confessional] "Someone approaching ME for an alliance? That's a first."

"I mean… I'm not gonna say no… But why?" Heather inquires.

"Just take a look at our team! Lindsay, Beth, and Katie are already super close, and Tyler will vote with Lindsay too. That's a 4 person alliance right off the bat!" Courtney explains. "They won't let us in, considering we both have a negative history with Lindsay and Beth. So, the only way to counter it is with another alliance!" Courtney declares while slamming her fist into her hand.

"Alright, I'm in." Heather says as she and Courtney shake hands. "But we're going to need more than just the two of us. Who would side with us?" Heather contemplates.

"Well, you got along with Cody and DJ on World Tour, right?" Courtney asks.

"Yes." Heather dryly replies.

"Then try to get them to work with you. I can probably get Justin and Ezekiel on my side as well. That'll be 6." Courtney calculates. She and Heather share a villainous smile.

_

Elsewhere, the guys on the Killer Gophers are unpacking. Harold is bent down, rummaging through his luggage. Duncan sees the perfect opportunity to give him a wedgie. He creeps behind him, and is about to give him one…

"I know what you're about to do." Trent says.

"What, this?" Duncan replies as he gives Harold a wedge.

"OW!" Harold yelps. He adjusts his underwear and sits down on his bunk. Duncan laughs hysterically.

"No, we're not doing this! You are not going to spend an entire season bullying Harold again! And I'm gonna make sure of it." Trent threatens.

"HA! What are you gonna do, vote me off? Please, I've merged in every season I've competed in, I can't be touched!" Duncan informs Trent of his impressive track record.

"And who's going to side with you? " Trent asks.

"Well I know Owen and Noah will! Right guys?" Duncan says. Owen and Noah exchange an unamused look. Owen is the first to speak up.

"What you did to Courtney and Gwen was pretty… Wrong."

"Yeah, that was kinda messed up." Noah adds.

"Why do you care? That's none of your business!" Duncan yells.

"Accept it Duncan. You've dug your own grave." Harold chimes in.

"SHUT UP!" Duncan roars. He storms out of the cabin.

[Duncan Confessional] "Being reprimanded by the guys seriously caught me off guard! Who do they think they are judging me for my love life!?"

[Harold Confessional] "Since when did Duncan care about what others think of him?"

[Trent Confessional] "Duncan is a total prick! If he tries to mess with Gwen AT ALL, I'll beat him punk butt up!"

_

The Killer Gopher girls actually had no negativity! Everyone unpacked peacefully, with Leshawna, Bridgette, and Gwen holding a casual conversation.

"Geoff has proposed to me six times! And every time, I tell him 'not now!'" Bridgette converses.

"Why not?" Leshawna wonders.

"I want to have my life together first. I don't have any plans of going to college or anything, but to have a good paying job and a place to call home are my top two priorities at the moment. Once I have those figured out, then I'll consider marriage." Bridgette explains.

"I'd do the same if I were you." Gwen adds. "I'm keen on taking things slowly." They continue to unpack in silence for a bit, when suddenly… The sound of something cracking can be heard. Then, the crack turns into a crash! Leshawna, Bridgette, and Gwen all turn their heads to see that Sadie's bunk collapsed onto Eva while she was sitting on it.

"RIP Sadie, you had a good life!" Izzy blurts out, laughing afterwards. Sadie quickly hops off her bunk and tries to brush some of the rubble off. Eva uncovers herself before Sadie can do it for her, and stands up, looking Sadie right in the eyes.

"I-I'm so sorry! It was an accident!" Sadie pleads. Eva's angry expression slowly changes to a smile, and she begins to laugh.

"That can't be good." Bridgette whispers to Leshawna. Eva laughs a bit more, but eventually stops.

"It's okay Sadie, it's not your fault there was a construction malfunction!" Eva forgives. Sadie's worry is lifted, and she smiles.

"I hope you've all had time to unpack, because it's challenge time! Meet on the beach, pronto!" Chris announces via a loudspeaker.

[Eva Confessional] "Laughing is another form of anger management that my therapist recommended. Apparently, it's supposed to release endorphins, or something dumb like that. And honestly, it kind of worked! There was no reason to be mad at Sadie for that, she didn't purposefully make the bunk collapse."

[Sadie Confessional] "EEK, I thought Eva was going to kill me!"

_

The campers are at the beach, per Chris's request.

"Welcome campers to your first challenge!" Chris greets. "I'm sure you're all wondering what you'll have to do today!"

"Me! I'm wondering!" Owen pipes up.

"Thank you Owen!" Chris replies. Chef walks into frame and tosses lassos to DJ and Bridgette.

"Oh no, please don't say we have to avoid being lassoed again! I can't risk further damaging my figure!" Justin panics.

"Nope! This time, you won't be lassoing other players, but instead…" A helicopter comes in and drops two pigs on the beach. One is colored with orange paint, and another is colored with blue paint. "You must lasso a pig!" Chris states.

'Uh Chris. I know we were able to lasso other people in action, but I don't think any of us know how to lasso a pig!" Trent comments.

"I know that. That's why I'm bringing in a special guest to show you all how it's done!" The same helicopter that dropped the pigs releases one more pig. Wait… That's not a pig, it's Sugar!

"Howdy y'all! It's me, the queen of Pahkitew island, the one and only, SUGAR!" No one really seems to care that she's here.

"I'm sorry, I never watched Pack A Shoe island. Who are you?" Lindsay asks.

"GIRL, I JUST INTRODUCED MYSELF!" Sugar shouts. "I AIN'T DOIN' IT AGAIN!" Chef hands Sugar a lasso to shut her up. "Oooh, a lasso! What do I do with this?"

"You're supposed to demonstrate the challenge, remember?" Chris questions.

"Oh right!" Sugar swings the lasso around. "First, you wanna make sure to hold it just like I am! One hand down waaaaaay below, and another hand near the top. When you wanna catch the hog, release it when the hoop is aligned with its head and or buttocks!" Sugar explains. She releases the lasso and is able to catch one of the pigs. She walks over to the pig and removes the lasso. "Everyone got that?" The campers nod. "Good! NOW PAY ME!" Sugar demands, speaking to Chris.

"You'll get your payment in the mail next week." Chris dryly replies. The helicopter that brought Sugar in comes back and she enters it, and it takes her away.

"This challenge doesn't seem like it'll be hard, the pigs aren't even moving!" Bridgette voices.

"Shouldn't have said something…" Chris laughs, then pulls out an airhorn, pressing on it hard. The loud sound startles the pigs, and they run off.

"You better follow them before they leave your field of vision!" Chris suggests. The campers promptly run after their team's pig.

"Chase it up a cliff! If we corner it, it'll have nowhere to run!" Noah orders his team. There's no time for disagreements, so they just do as he says.

"Does anyone on OUR team have a plan!?" Heather demands to know as she chases after the pig with everyone else. Cody strokes his chin while he thinks of an idea.

EURIKA!

"STOP!" Cody commands. His team stops, but the pig doesn't.

"The pig is getting away!" Courtney whines.

"That's the point! If we stop chasing the pig, it'll eventually calm down. Then, all we'll need to do is find the pig, then catch it while it's standing still!" Cody explains.

"Rad idea dude!" Geoff compliments. Cody's plan gives Heather an idea.

"If we're trying not to scare the pig, only a few of us should go look for it. DJ, we could use your strength. Cody, we need your craftiness. I'll go too, for good measure. Everyone else can stay back. Can we do that?" Heather requests, hoping no one noticed how suspicious she was to separate herself and two other people from the team. To her liking, no one disagrees, not even DJ or Cody. "Great! Now let's move!"

[Courtney Confessional] "Smart move Heather. Now… how am I going to get Justin and Ezekiel alone?" Courtney ponders.

The Killer Gophers are still chasing after their pig. Noah's plan of running it up a cliff seems to be working, although some of the more physically unfit members of the team are struggling to keep up, including Noah himself.

"I'm so… Tired." Owen complains. "Must… Rest…" He collapses. Noah, Leshawna, Harold, and Sadie use Owen's laziness as an excuse to stop too.

"Go on without us! We'll just hold the team back." Leshawna suggests. No one responds though, as they're too focused on following the pig.

"I hope being lazy doesn't make us targets if our team loses!" Sadie worries.

"We won't. The only person who deserves to go first is that jerkwad Duncan!" Harold voices.

"I couldn't agree more." Leshawna adds. "I can't excuse the bad things he's done any longer!"

"I can't believe they let him out of jail." Noah says. Leshawna and Sadie nod in agreement. The scene then cuts to the members of their team who continued running.

"It… just... won't... give… up!" Bridgette gasps between breaths.

"Are you even trying to lasso it!? I feel like you've been close enough several times." Duncan calls Bridgette out.

"I am trying! I'm just waiting for it to come to a stop." Bridgette replies.

"Whatever, at least we're trying. If we lose, why don't we just vote for one of the people who gave up?" Duncan suggests, trying to save himself from inevitable doom.

"Nice try, but there's no way I'm voting for anyone besides you!" Gwen argues.

"Same here!" Trent defends.

"I'm with Gwen and Trent, you're a DIRTY CHEATER!" Eva shouts. Bridgette and Izzy don't say anything, but they give Duncan dirty glares to signify their dislike.

"Okay, you've all made your point very clear!" Duncan yells, trying to mask his anger. The edge of the cliff is in sight, which makes the pig and everyone else come to a stop.

[Duncan Confessional] "They can't vote me out if we don't lose." Duncan notes.

Duncan runs over to Bridgette and snags the lasso.

"Hey! Give that back!" Bridgette demands.

[Bridgette Confessional] "I was trying to throw the challenge to get Duncan out! If he has the lasso, we might actually win!" Bridgette worries.

Duncan stares the pig right in the eye and swings the lasso. It's terrified. So much so that it does something unexpected. Duncan releases, and as the lasso comes towards it, the pig jumps off the cliff and into the water below. Without hesitation, Duncan also jumps off the cliff. He won't give up.

Screaming Bass (well, more like Heather, DJ, and Cody) aren't struggling nearly as much. Their only concern is actually finding where the pig ran off to. Heather is thinking of how to ask DJ and Cody to ally without it seeming like a Lindsay & Beth situation (which she doesn't plan on replicating).

[DJ Confessional] "I know Heather separated us from the rest of the team to ask for an alliance. I'm not stupid."

"There's something we need to talk about." Heather finally speaks up.

"An alliance?" DJ and Cody say in unison. They fist bump, impressed by their synchronization.

"Was it that obvious?" Heather shyly replies.

"Kinda…" Cody informs.

"Look, I'm not gonna say no, but I refuse to be used like Lindsay and Beth were!" DJ states.

"I understand that." Heather says. "I'm not trying to offer an alliance, I'm simply asking to ally. Big difference."

"So does that mean you view us as equals?" Cody asks, unsure as to what Heather means.

"I guess you could say that." Heather confirms.

"I'm proud of you Heather. You've really matured!" DJ compliments. "So yeah, I'll work with you."

"I will too!" Cody adds.

"Thank you guys, for giving me a chance to play the game right." Heather says, warmly smiling.

[Heather Confessional] "Before you all say 'Oh Heather, you've lost your touch!', I'd just like to point out that DJ and Cody are the only two people on this stupid show that have actually been kind to me. If I'm rude in return, the only person who'll willingly talk to me is Courtney. COURTNEY!"

_

Speaking of Courtney, she's currently trying to figure out how she can talk to Justin and Ezekiel privately without seeming suspicious. She's stalking Ezekiel, who has been chatting with Tyler for the past 10 minutes.

Courtney [Confessional] "UGH! Why is it so hard to get Ezekiel alone? Justin I could've easily talked to by now, but I'd rather discuss with them at the same time."

Lindsay steps out of the Screaming Bass cabin.

"Hey Tyler! Can you give me a massage? My back is killing me!" Lindsay requests.

"Welp, it's been nice talking to you. But, duty calls!" Tyler says goodbye to Ezekiel and leaves.

"Here's my chance!" Courtney whispers to herself. She speeds walks towards Ezekiel. "I need to talk to you."

"Yes ma'am." Ezekiel accepts without a second thought. Quite frankly, he's a bit scared of Courtney.

"That's suspicious." Justin blurts out.

"I need to talk to you, too!" Courtney retorts. Justin raises an eyebrow.

"I'm listening…" He says. Courtney looks around to make sure nobody can see or hear them.

"Okay, we need to form an alliance. Beth, Lindsay, and Katie have already formed a trio in the girls cabin, and Tyler will vote with them via Lindsay. That's a 4 person alliance right off the bat! I know 3 other people who'll vote with us. So if you agree to form an alliance with me, we'll hold a 6 person majority!" Courtney spells out. "So, are you in?"

"Oh boy oh boy oh boy! Of course I'm in!" Ezekiel jollily accepts.

"Sure." Justin also accepts, but more nonchalantly.

[Courtney Confessional] "That was easier than I expected."

[Ezekiel Confessional] "My first alliance! This… This is great!"

[Justin Confessional] "So, it seems that Courtney barely has enough numbers to hold the majority. I could flip on her to take revenge on what she did to me in my total drama action elimination… But then again, being in a big alliance means more screen time for me! I can always blindside her later."

Bridgette, Trent, Gwen, Eva, and Izzy trek down the cliff. On the way, they encounter their other teammates.

"Where's Duncan and the pig?" Leshawna asks.

"They both jumped off the cliff! It was awesome!" Izzy exclaims.

"Say what now!?" Leshawna replies.

"He noticed that I was throwing the challenge and took control." Bridgette explains.

"Why were you trying to throw?" Sadie questions.

"To get Duncan out." Bridgette answers.

"But why?" Sadie inquires, confused as to why Bridgette would throw just to get him out. She ponds for a moment, then realization hits. "Oh riiiiight, we hate him!"

"He better fail!" Eva hopes.

"Well, if the pig jumped off the cliff, that means it landed in water, right?" Harold rhetorically asks. "Then that means the paint will wash off! Chris won't be able to identify that it's our team's pig. As far as he knows, Duncan could've lassoed any ol' pig on the island!"

"Hey, you're right! Ducan's going home!" Gwen celebrates. Her excitement is immediately interrupted by some unfortunate news…

"The Killer Gophers win!" Chris announces via a loudspeaker. Every member of the team is upset by the news, except for Duncan (obviously). The screen cuts to Duncan and Chris. The pig is all lassoed up.

"Did you use waterproof paint?" Duncan asks.

"I did indeed! Just in case your pigs got into some water." Chris answers.

Cut to the Screaming Bass. Heather, Cody, and DJ walk back to camp, disappointed at their failure.

"Were you able to even find the pig?" Geoff questions.

"Nah. We looked everywhere, too!" DJ answers.

"But alas, no pig." Cody adds. Suddenly, the sound of snoring can be heard nearby. It's coming from… Inside the girls's side of the Screaming Bass's cabin!? Heather goes to investigate, and sees that their team's pig was sleeping in her bed.

"Found it." Heather mumbles, annoyed. Courtney walks up from behind and gets close to Heather's ear.

"Did they accept your offer?" Courtney whispers.

"Yes. Did they accept yours?" Heather quietly replies.

"Mhm." Courtney hums.

"Good. Now we have to decide who to kick off. Any person who isn't part of the friend group is out of the question" Heather notes.

"Hmmm… I think I know someone we'd both like to get revenge on." Courtney inaudibly whispers the name of said person into Heather's ear. They both grin and snicker.

Cut to the campfire ceremony.

"Welcome Screaming Bass to the first campfire ceremony of Total Drama Island Redone!" Chris greets. "You all know how this works, but I'll say the iconic line anyway! AHEM. You've all cast your votes and made your decisions. Whoever gets the most must immediately walk the dock of shame, catch the boat of losers, and you can't come back. EVER." Heather and Courtney smile at each other, but so do Lindsay and Tyler, along with Beth and Katie.

[Tyler Confessional] "Lindsay told me that she, Beth, and Katie were all voting for Courtney. So yeah, I did too. I didn't bother discussing the vote with anyone else, since I'm sure she'll be out anyway! Cause… Who likes her?"

"If I call your name, I'll toss you a marshmallow." Chris reminds the campers. "The first camper safe is…" Chris pauses for dramatic effect. "Ezekiel." He throws a marshmallow to Ezekiel, which he holds with pride. "Good job, you aren't the first out again! Don't waste this opportunity."

"I won't, I promise!" Ezekiel vows.

"Next few marshmallows go to… DJ, Cody, Lindsay, Heather, and Katie." Chris pitches 5 marshmallows to each of them. "Tyler and Geoff, you two are also safe." They snatch their marshmallows with one hand, and high five with their other. "Justin, Beth, and Courtney… You three received votes."

"I wonder who mine was from…" Justin sarcastically voices, glaring at Geoff.

"It seems like you're confident in the fact that only one person voted for you. That'd be correct." Chris confirms while tossing Justin a marshmallow. "Beth, Courtney, there is one marshmallow left on this plate. And it goes to…" The screen pans between Courtney and Beth, building suspense.

"Courtney." She receives her marshmallow and eats it slowly. Everyone who didn't vote Beth out is shocked by the reveal.

"Beth… No!" Lindsay cries.

"It's so sad to see you go when we were just starting to get to know each other." Katie mourns.

"Aww… This stinks." Beth sighs. After a moment, her disappointment slightly fades. "Well, I already won a season, so I'm not too upset. It would've been nice to make it further with you guys though. I'm gonna miss my little friend group!"

"Beth, it's time for you to go. Please head to the dock of shame." Chris states. Beth gets up from her seat and slumps away.

Votes

[Tyler Confessional] "I'm voting for Courtney because Lindsay told me to."

[Ezekiel Confessional] "Beth's gotta go, ay! Well, Courtney thinks she should, which means she's bad news!"

[DJ Confessional] "Sorry Beth, but you did already win a season. If what Heather said is true, your alliance could become threatening if you don't get out now."

[Cody Confessional] "I vote Beth. This is revenge for rolling my wheelchair into the water!" Cody pauses for a moment. "Okay, I don't actually hold a grudge, but that reasoning sounds more personal than 'Heather told me to'.

[Justin Confessional] "Bye bye Beth. When Courtney told me to cast my vote for you, I was more than happy to. Consider this payback for falling out of love with me along with all the other people!"

[Geoff Confessional] "I vote for Justin, dude! Stop causing drama for no reason, it's killing my vibe!"

[Lindsay Confessional] "Heather is a mean person with very few good qualities! She manipulated me in the first season, and I haven't had the chance to vote her off since! With that said, I vote for Courtney."

[Courtney Confessional] "It was either you or Lindsay, but I have more personal beef with you, so… Bye-bye Beth, my vote's for you!"

[Heather Confessional] "It's time to vote Beth off… Again! Oh it just feels SO good to outlast flops like her!"

[Katie Confessional] "Courtney was the reason Sadie got out in season 1… Not like I care or anything! But, Lindsay and Beth told me to vote her out, so I am!"

[Beth Confessional] "It was tough deciding who to target between Heather and Courtney, but me and Lindsay decided on Courtney. She has a higher chance of surviving if we let her get too far! So yeah, I'm voting Courtney, and I won't be surprised when she's gone!"
