Chapter 12: Wild and Crazy Kids:
Donnie's POV:
I was jumping from one desk to the other to get to my desk.
"Donnie, stuff like this may be why Anna keeps turning you down," says Adam.
"And how are you and Makenna doing," I asked.
"We're taking things slow," says Adam.
"Wow, she really isn't like her sister," I said.
"I know, I feel really bad for Piper," says Adam, "Crystal was way too forward!"
We then saw some kids breaking through the window.
"What," Adam and I both asked.
"Tom Hussain!"
"Nicole Wallace!"
"Justin Price!"
"Kate King!"
"Major Cooper!"
"Poppy Chambers and we are W.A.C.K.!" Adam and I were confused. "That's Wild and Crazy Kids!"
"Oh," we both said.
"Donnie Thornberry, how was that," asks Poppy.
"Your introduction," I asked.
"No," says Poppy, "we've seen all the crazy stunts you've pulled! You've inspired us! We want to be as wild as you!"
"I have fans," I asked.
"I want to be you," says Tom.
"Cool," I said.
"Creepy," says Adam.
"But we're not sure we're good enough," says Nicole.
"Will you teach us," asks Poppy.
"Sure," I said, "I don't see why not!"
. . .
"So, you in the army, Cooper," asks Adam.
"No, my parents named me Major," says Major.
"Okay, my wacky wackos of W.A.C.K.," I said, "first step, if something looks dangerous... then do it!" We then all rolled down the hill. And yes, we ditched school!
. . .
We then road on the roofs of cars!
. . .
We then played in the zoo!
. . .
"This was amazing," says Poppy.
"You are the greatest," says Justin.
"My last name may be King," says Kate, "but you are the king!"
"What do we do next," asks Nicole.
"Can we eat dynamite," asks Tom.
"Woah, we're just going to hang out with my friends," I said.
"Oh... that's cool too," says Poppy, "I love you!"
"What," I asked.
"What," asks Poppy.
. . .
We were in my garage, eating corndogs.
"This is it," asks Tom, "this seems like... the opposite of wild!"
"Clearly, you've never seen the way Donnie eats," says Adam.
I was eating the corndog like a dog.
"Okay but can we... at least... crash that large RV thing into something," asks Kate.
"Nahh, my parents would ground me if I crashed the Comvee," I said.
"But you don't usually care about rules or getting in trouble," says Poppy.
"Yeah, but I care about my parents," I said.
"Donnie, don't forget, I gotta tutor you in math," says Piper.
"And you and I got that King Tut project," says Charlize.
"And we gotta make that diorama of Avalon," says Nathan.
"And we gotta study the heart," says Adam.
"I got time to do that with all of you," I said.
"We... gotta go," says Poppy. The W.A.C.K.-sters then left.
"What do you think of them," I asked.
"Don't you think they're a little... weird," asks Charlize.
"They seem disappointed with the stuff we were just saying," says Charlize.
"C'mon," I said, "they just want to be like me!"
"Donnie, remember when I thought Crystal was harmless," says Piper, "you proved me wrong!"
"UUUUUUUUUhhhhhhhhh... that's fair," I said.
Poppy's POV:
"Donnie's friends have brainwashed him," I said, "we have to keep him away from them! We can't let Donnie lose his beautiful wildness! Who's with me?" Everyone agrees!
Donnie's POV:
I was walking, but then someone sacks me.
. . .
The sack was removed, and I saw Poppy and Major. "Hello Donnie," says Poppy.
"UUUUUUUUUhhhhhhhhh... what's going on," I asked.
"Oh... bad news," says Poppy, "your friends said they're tired of hanging with a monkey-boy freak and want nothing more to do with you!"
"What," I asked.
"It's true," says Poppy, "but don't worry, you have new friends, and we want to spend every moment with you!" I then looked around and saw that this was some kind of cult that worships me!
"Oh... I get it now," I said, "well... I gotta..."
"NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO," shouts Poppy, "I mean... Major made cookies!"
"Actually, I bought them," says Major, "I'm not a baker!"
"I better call my friends," I said. I then held up the phone. "Hello, Adam?"
"Hey Donnie, I don't want to hang with you, anymore!"
That sounded more like Tom, doing a racist impression of a black kid. I then called Charlize.
"Hey Donnie, I don't want to hang with you, anymore!"
That was Nicole! I then called Piper.
"Hey Donnie, I don't want to hang with you, anymore!"
They keep saying the same thing and that was Justin! His girl voice is terrible! I then called Nathan.
"Hey Donnie, I don't want to hang with you, anymore!"
That was Kate. "So, you guys are obsessed with me and are trying to keep me from my friends," I said.
"We are devoted to you," says Poppy, "they are going to make you boring! You don't need them! YOU BELONG WITH ME!"
"Hold it," says Adam, "after those other wackos kidnapped us, we took them down! And we called the cops!"
"No one's going to catch us," says Poppy.
Poppy and Major then tried to get away, but I took them down. "You forget," I said, "you learned it all from me!"
. . .
The W.A.C.K.-sters were being taken away.
"Why does this keep happening with us, Donnie," asks Piper.
"I don't know what to tell you, but it is nice to know you're not the only one anymore," I said.
"Yeah," says Piper.
"Let's go, Guys," I said.
"I don't think it's the last we've seen of them," says Adam, "check out what Poppy made!"
It's a drawing of her and me riding a unicorn over the Moon! "That is disturbing," I said, "but the artwork is good!"
In the next chapter, Donnie helps out the art club.
