The group arrives back in the theater room swiftly after Raider snaps her fingers. The group noticed that the arrangement of the seats were a tad different than last time, specifically the bottom row as two more chairs have been added to the mix. "Um, Raider, why is there another seat? I get Sun needs one that he'll be staying with us but who's the other one for?" Ruby asks as she goes to take a seat.
"Ah, yes, someone else will be joining you, another person who holds great significance in your future journeys! Now, take a seat while I go get him, it won't take long." Without any further explanation, she was gone, leaving the rest of them there alone. Team JNPR go to sit in the back like last time, Sun sits down in the far left chair while the rest of team RWBY continue to stand. Weiss goes and sits next to her partner, just leaving Blake and Yang as they look at the two seats in front of them. The two of them could feel everyone's eyes on them as none of them made any indication that they would move. Yang, deciding to just bite the bullet, sits down next to Weiss with Blake hesitantly following. That only left the far right chair next to Ruby, left open for their next guest. The only reason Blake didn't choose it was because that would just make things even more awkward for everyone.
No one said anything so the theater was engulfed in silence. Well, that was until Raider returned with a small boy who was being carried over Raider's shoulder. "Put me down! Who are you?!" He yelled as he was finally set down. The boy turned around and took note of all the other people there. "Where are we? And who are you?" The boy asked as Raider took a second to magically clean the dirt off her shoulder, "And what are you?"
"Hi my name is Raider and I'm an inter-dimensional entity that brought you here to react to your future, just like the rest of them, so you can take that last seat over there so we can get started as soon as possible. Oh, before that, why don't you introduce yourself," She gestures to the people behind him as she continues, "You might be here for a bit and it seems fitting that you get to know your peers."
The boy didn't say anything as all the attention was brought to him, making his cheeks deepen to a dark hue. "Um… Hi?" It came out more as a question as he really didn't know what to say. It took him a hot moment, but his head snapped to look at Raider, "Wait, did you say we're watching the future? How is that possible?"
Raider lightly waves both of her hands, "Magic!" The boy was still utterly confused. Raider let out a sigh as she motioned for him to just take the seat. "Listen, it's exactly as I said, I sent you all here so you could change your actions to better your future for yourself and all of Remnant as whole as it will quickly turn into war. Faster than you think, so I brought you here so you change and decide your fates."
The boy nodded his head with a dumbfounded look, "Okay…"
"Now, I'm not trying to be that person, but if you wouldn't mind…" Raider trails off as she raises a hand and gestures to everyone else.
"Oh, right, sorry. Um, hi, my name's Oscar Pine, and it's nice to meet you. Even in this crazy and weird circumstance."
They all went around, saying their names as Raider flew to the back of the room. "Now, don't mind me, you won't even know I'm here. Oh, and late apologies for basically kidnapping you and bringing you to a whole other dimension."
"Oh, it's…fine?"
Raider nodded and quickly turned on the TV, letting the episode begin.
Slowly emerging, from a large pool of ink-like substance, is a beowulf, clawing its way to the surface.
"Okay, first of all, let me just be the first to say, wow, did this show's animation have a glow up or what?" Sun exclaims as he almost just bounced out of his seat, "And secondly, what the heck is that puddle thing and where is that place?"
"I wouldn't exactly call it a puddle, but that's a Grimm Pool. Though, as for the place I have no idea, it's definitely where all the Grimm come from." Weiss attempts to clarify to the best of her knowledge, but seeing as this is such a new area she's never seen, it's kinda hard to give anything more than that. Weiss also let out a delayed sigh from Sun's first observation, but he is right, it looks like the quality has improved a lot.
"Hate the Grimm, but I love how the style got a total upgrade! Is that what the rest of the future is going to look like? Very impressive," Ruby adds, her voice becoming more posh towards the end.
"I can only imagine what we're gonna look like when we appear." Hearing this from Jaune got everyone wondering how they were going to turn out.
"Oh, speaking of which," Raider began from the back of the room, "You all need your new outfits." Before anyone could ask, Raider snapped her fingers and the rest of them found themselves in new clothes.
"Are these what we wear?" Jaune asks. Raider nods with a hum and lets them admire their clothing for a few seconds before returning back to the show as they haven't even gotten a minute into the first episode.
Getting a better view of the land, there are dozens more pools and the terrain consists of purple crystals and red rocky lands. Emerald and Mercury are staring out from a window, high above. The two of them look out, horrified, until their attention is brought to Cinder who snaps her fingers, gesturing them over.
"She's still alive?! How? Ruby's silver eye flash should have been able to take her out as well if she was able to turn a Wyvern into stone," Nora yells from her seat in disbelief, pissed off that the woman didn't die along with the Grimm.
"Froze a Wyvern?! How is that possible?" Oscar questions.
Nora waves a hand, "Oh, yeah, you missed A LOT, but I'm sure you'll be able to catch soon enough." Raider rolls her eyes at Nora, then proceeds to blast a white light that absorbs into Oscar's head, causing him to freeze as everything they've just been previously shown is now imported into his memory. Oscar looks downright terrified, seeing what they've all had to go through in the future. "Or she could just do that."
"Hmm, her silver eyes must only affect Grimm," Blake reasons, answering before Weiss could. Blake couldn't help but release a small laugh for getting to the punch before Weiss.
Everyone returns to glaring at the woman on screen.
In the middle of the room is a long dining table with three other residents present. Two of them sit quietly while the third is on his scroll. Emerald and Mercury rush to stand next to Cinder, Emerald shoves Mercury in the process. "Yes, yes, please keep your…posse in check," The man with his scroll speaks, but his words cause offense to Mercury, who Emerald has to promptly hold back. "You hear that? Silence. I have half the mind to thank the little girl who bested you."
"If I were you, I'd hunt her down, hehe, find her, and…well, she took your eye, didn't she?" The man then begins to start laughing maniacally throughout the quiet hall.
Okay, the psychopath sits in that chair, everyone collectively thought as the cackling continued. Yang tensed, remembering his words when he spoke of Ruby, her protective sister mode engaging.
Cinder struggles to speak, gasping for words, but stops when it's pointless. She gestures for Emerald so she may speak for her. The man across from them watches the scene, calling them pathetic.
Well that's one positive, now we don't have to hear her stupid voice, Ruby thinks to herself sourly, her arms folding over her chest.
The door bursts open and everyone stands as the pale woman strides in. She makes her way to the end of the room, pausing, then addressing the man. "Watts. Do you find such malignance necessary?" She raises a hand, signaling for everyone else to sit but him.
"I apologize, ma'am. I'm not particularly fond of failure." The man, who's name is Watts, replies, joining the others in their seats.
"Then I see no for your cruelty towards young Cinder. She's become our Fall Maiden, destroyed Beacon Tower, and most importantly, killed dear Ozpin. So I'm curious, to what failures are you referring?"
Blake and Weiss hoped they weren't the only ones to briefly when the woman referred Professor Ozpin as, dear. How deep does the history between the two go?
"Well, the girl with the silver eyes-" Watts starts off but is interrupted by the large man next to him, saying that they've dealt with their kind before.
So, I wasn't the only one? Who else had silver eyes? Will I ever meet someone else? A million questions run through Ruby's head a mile a minute.
The large goes on, wondering how a novice was able to best one of 'em. "My thoughts exactly," Watts concurs, "Even without her power it should have been effortless."
"It is because of the Maiden's power. Make no mistake Cinder, you hold the key to our victory. But your new found strength brings with it a crippling weakness, which is why you'll remain by my side as we continue your treatment." Cinder is visibly upset as she stares at the table in front of her. "Dr. Watts, you are to take Cinder's place and meet with our informant in Mistral." Watts nods his head as he will do so. "Tyrian, I want you to continue your hunt for the Spring Maiden." Train rubs his hands together with a devious smile as he agrees. "And Hazel, I'm sending you to the leader of the White Fang, Adam Taurus has arranged the meeting. The boy continues to prove loyal, ensure that Sienna Khan feels the same." Hazel wordlessly obeys.
Blake's eyes have widened in horror at the immediate mention of Adam and the White Fang. "The White Fang are also in with this lady?" Sun shouts. They won't know the full details, but they knew that Adam had everything to do with this current involvement.
Cinder calls for Emerald again and the girl leans down to translate. All that comes out are gruffs and wheezes. When Emerald rises, the woman motions for Emerald to speak. "She wants to know, what about the girl?"
"What about the girl? Seems to me like this is Cinder's problem, not ours." Cinder's response to Watts's words is to slam her fist down on the table in anger. The man merely smirks.
"That's enough. Tyrian?"
"Yes, My Lady?"
"Spring can wait, find the girl that did this to Cinder." Tyrian claps happily in excitement at the thought of killing the girl, but his Lady wasn't finished, "And bring her to me." Tyrian's mood deflates but he complies anyways.
Everyone in the room tensed, but let out small sighs of relief when all she wanted was for Ruby to be brought to her. Not like that was any better if Ruby was to be in the company of this lunatic with a thrill for bloodshed.
Yang instinctively moved her arms in preparation of a fight that wasn't coming, but swiftly remembered that she didn't have her weapons, for one, and that Ruby was safe and sound.
"Because of your efforts, Beacon has fallen and Haven will be next." The woman concludes and everyone stands from their chairs. Tyrian turns to Cinder, pointing to his eye with a chuckle, telling, no, demanding an eye for an eye before breaking out into crazed laughter.
"Is it just me or does anyone else seriously hate that guy and can agree he's deranged," Sun states as he feels uncomfortable just looking at the screen with Tyrian present.
"No way I'm letting that crazy piece of shit touch my sister!" Her eyes have gone red as her fists clenched tightly.
Oscar wakes up gasping, looking out his window as he hears the birds chirping. Stepping out of his room, climbs down the ladders from the inside of the barn.
"Aww, cute farm boy Oscar!" Nora yells from the back, causing the boy in question to blush profusely and lower into his seat.
Making his way through, he opens up the large door, letting all the morning sun in. Without saying much he goes through his chores: obtaining water, rotating the compost, and hoeing the dirt. He pauses to take a look at the mountains across the horizon.
"Is that all we're seeing of me? Just doing my chores?" Oscar turns, asking Raider who still floats behind Team JNPR.
"Pssh, of course not. If that were truly the case you wouldn't be here in the first place." Well, so much for acting like I'm not even here, Raider thinks to herself with an exasperated smile, I should have known it was inevitable for them to ask a bunch of questions.
The forest is quiet with only the wind as its companion, until footsteps are evident and Nora's conversation with Ren. "I'm just saying, there's more members of JNPR than RWBY, it just makes sense to go with that one." Ren is still confused as JNRR isn't a color. "Ugh, how can I be more clear!" Nora puts out her hand as she counts the number of JNPR members in the traveling group, with the Traveling Name appearing, unbeknownst to them. "That's more than one!"
Pyrrha couldn't help the small pang of hurt as her team was making up a new name for themselves. She knows her friends don't mean this in a bad way, but that little inkling couldn't be helped as her team went on and on. It just gave her the feeling like she was already being replaced and out of the team, now since her future self was…dead.
"But we're helping Ruby with her objective," Ren counters as the same thing appears, though this time it's Team RNJR. "Wouldn't that make her the leader?"
"Guys, we need to focus. Also, JNRR is way cooler," Jaune comments from behind a log. Nora exclaims as Jaune further proves her point.
"No way, RNJR is way cooler than JNRR!" Sun yells from the front, even going as far to stand up.
"Yeah!" Yang shouts in agreement.
"Do you people really think it's necessary to be getting into this argument at the moment?" Weiss asks, already done with the group. Besides, RNJR is a lot better sounding than JNRR. Weiss let out a sigh as they continued to battle out a name that's way into the future. They don't even know how long it's been since the last episode in Volume 3 to now, it could've been days, weeks even!
Ruby wanted to reign her sister in, but she was glad to see that she was starting to become her regular self and was proud to see she was coming out of her silent state.
The names pop and Ren sighs in resignation. At that moment, large tremors can be heard throughout the forest as Jaune whispers that it's here. Bursting out of the trees is Ruby, firing gunshots at a large rock monster with a Geist infused into it.
"Well that's a new one," Ruby mumbles to herself.
The Grimm falls off the cliff with her. "Bad! Landing! Strategy!" Each word is punctuated by her crashing into a different branch until she finally catches her fall. She quickly jumps off the branch with her semblance as the enormous beast swings its arms.
Weiss and Yang are quietly assessing the girl as if the actions happened in real time. The others were wincing each time she hit another branch.
"Let's get that thing off her!" Jaune cries out as begins to run around the monster. Ren follows as he propels himself into the trees, Nora calling out not to forget her as she does the same, landing right next to Ren.
"We need to draw its attention away from Ruby!" Ren states as Nora nods in agreement. Ruby quickly yells that she could use some help as she flies past the two. Both Ren and Nora repeatedly shoot at the creature, Nora staying in place while Ren runs around to avoid its advances.
Ren dashes atop its right arm before launching himself into the sky and swiftly returning with violent spins to harbor damage to the actual Grimm. That doesn't happen as it shields its face, causing Ren to hit the top of its body instead.
Ren rests beside Jaune as he tells him that his blades don't hurt him. Nora curses under breath, so Ruby decides to use some electric dust against it. But upon firing, all it seemed to do was become absorbed into the arm.
"Well that's just great! Blades don't pierce it and all dust seems to do is give it more power," Nora exclaims with exasperation as she threw her arms in the air.
"I really hope we find some way to take this thing down," Jaune mumbles to himself.
"Guys, relax, we got this, it's only just the beginning. The fight hasn't finished yet and we're only just getting started, I'm sure we'll think of something." Ruby does her best in attempting to keep their hopes up. That was also to convince herself a bit as well but they've taken on much worse than a single Grimm like this, she knows they can do it, they just need to look for a different angle.
The Grimm brings its fist into the ground, creating a massive gust of wind and dust, sending all of them flying. Ren and Nora easily catch themselves, Ruby uses Crescent Rose, but Jaune isn't so lucky as he's knocked into a rock, a piece of it hitting a very unfortunate place.
Everyone winces as Jaune audibly groans, "Why must it always be me?"
"'You'll be fine without a weapon, you're the strategist'," Jaune says in a voice filled with obvious pain.
"That's it!" Nora screams, charging forward whilst changing Magnhild to its hammer form. Swinging Magnhild she breaks one of its arms off only for it to repair itself and come back with a vengeance. Ruby protects Nora and slices the boulder apart in the process, leaving the monster with only a single arm.
"Yes! See guys, I told you we'd be able to get the upper hand!" Ruby shouts as the rest of them start to get on board.
The Grimm goes to smash them with its other arm, to which Nora and Ruby dodge out of the way. Jaune has just gotten up as is currently stretching but sees the flying debris coming his way. He manages to avoid the first three, yelling at the team to be careful, only for him to get smacked in the face by the fourth.
"Again, I'm noticing a pattern here! It just seems like I'm the punching bag that people can laugh at when I get hurt. It was very clear in the first two volumes, especially how they introduced me!" Jaune frowns as he looks back on all the other moments of him that they've seen. "Is there more to my future than just being the guy everything laughs at?" His question was meant to be rhetorical but his friends comforted him either way.
"Of course there's more to you than just getting beat up, it's just clear that it hasn't been shown yet. It's only the first episode of this volume, give it a bit of time. It's obvious you'll be seen more often than previous volumes so just be patient." Jaune looks to Pyrrha, hoping she's right, but it just feels like he's the butt of all the jokes.
"Pyrrha's right, it's only the first episode, we're sure there will be more!" Nora adds with an agreeing nod from Ren.
The Grimm attempts to repeatedly step on Nora as she keeps evading its attacks. Jaune catches his breath near a broken tree as red symbols form on the socket of the rock body. A Grimm arm is immediately fabricated and fuses itself with the trunk that Jaune is currently standing by. The Grimm then begins to swing the trunk, trying to hit Jaune as the boy screams that its arm has now become a tree.
"Big mistake!" Ruby yells out as she pulls out a fire dust cartridge. She fires at the trunk and Jaune pauses as he pumps his fist in victory, though he spoke too soon as the trunk is just now on fire.
"Big mistake!" Jaune cries as he runs for his life. While the arm is raised, Ren takes the opening, slicing the Grimm with StormFlower, effectively scarring it. Tumbling the monster falls.
"Yeah!" Nora shouts, raising her fist in the air, "Now let's break its legs!"
The team groups up and Jaune takes this moment to evaluate. "Okay, how do we do this?" Ren brings up that its body is too thick to break through. "It doesn't care about its body." Nora adds that it can just add new limbs to itself. "But it's protecting its face." Ruby says the obvious that they can't break it. "If we knocked all of its limbs off at once, then went for the-" It finally comes to him.
"You're definitely the strategist alright," Yang comments with a smirk, causing a light blush to appear on Jaune's cheeks.
"Guys, I got it!" Jaune yells, having an epiphany as the creature gets back up, "We hit it harder!"
"Well that could have been worded a bit better…" Jaune murmurs.
Ren asks if that's it. "No, seriously, it's trying to keep us from its face. If we kill the limbs, we have a shot to kill the whole thing!" Hearing this they all prepare, hyping each other up. "Right, Ren, left. Ruby, right. Nora, ready to try out the new upgrade?"
Nora gasps at the prospect. "My weapon gets an upgrade?! Ooh, let me see it, let me see it!"
Both Nora and Jaune nod to the other. "Right, and I'll-" He's cut off by the Grimm.
"Run for my life as I still don't have a weapon to fight with."
Ren and Ruby are hitting the beast with everything they've got while Nora charges Magnhild. Jaune runs behind the beast, grabbing its attention as Ren and Ruby fire and slice at it over and over again. Nora yells that she's ready. Ruby lands next to Jaune and he tells her to use everything she's got.
Ruby uses her semblance, absorbing Nora with her as the Grimm tries to cover its face. It's fruitless as Ruby breaks through the trunk and Nora uses her power to obliterate the entire body, its parts flying everywhere. The main body falls to the ground and the Grimm unfuses from the body, floating away to make its escape.
Ruby fires a single bullet and its death only disrupts the birds as they fly into the sky.
"Victory!" Ruby jumps into the air as the people in question join her. The more calmer ones in the room are the ones who have to reel them in.
"Another victory for Team JNRR!" Jaune pauses as he lets the name sink in for a bit. "Alright, y'know, okay, Ren, I think you're onto something. I-it's just not sounding great anymore."
"Aww, what? Booo!" Nora heckles as she doesn't want to accept the fact that 'RANGER' is a much cooler sounding word than 'JUNIOR'.
"We truly can't thank you enough," An older man shakes hands with Ruby as he thanks them for dealing with the Geist. Ruby tells the man that they're just doing their job. "That Geist has been plaguing our village for weeks, we were beginning to wonder if we'd have to relocate."
"Well, we are on our way to Mistral. You could always come along with us if you don't feel safe," Ruby suggests.
"Heh, I take it you're not from these parts. Anima is a large continent, I'm afraid our people would never survive the long trek to Mistral. It may be safer in the kingdoms, but we prefer our way of life. I just wish we could pay you more." The older man goes on.
Ren tells him that their previous arrangement is more than sufficient. All four of them bow in respect as the group finds themselves at the town's Blacksmith. The Blacksmith himself slams down a white and gold chestplate on the table. "It's gonna be heavier than you're used to but you'll thank me the next time you go up against a set of claws." Jaune's speechless as he stares at the armor in awe. "Don't gotta say anything, just put it on! I'll go get the rest." With that the large man goes to the back to get the rest of the set.
Jaune looks down at the piece he's currently wearing and runs a hand down the material, he wonders what it's made of.
Nora asks what he's waiting for as he doesn't have the chestplate on. Upon taking it off and putting it on the table, Jaune reflects that he was gonna grow out of the thing anyway. Ren sees it as a sign of progress. Jaune repeats the words with warmth. The moment Jaune turns around though Ruby is chuckling at his hoodie.
Everyone looks at the girl questioningly, wondering what she immediately found so funny. Wait, is she laughing at my hoodie? Oh come on! Once again…
Ruby is demanding what is on clothes. Jaune clarifies that she's referring to his hoodie and that he's always had it.
"It's got a cute little bunny rabbit on it!" Ruby squeals in delight the more she looks at it. Ruby is real tempted to just rush over to Jaune and pull the plate off so she can see it first-hand.
Ruby continues to snicker and giggle as she points out it has a cute rabbit on it. Ruby holds her stomach as she's now bursting with laughter. Jaune further adds that it's Pumpkin Pete, from the cereal.
"How'd you get it?" Oscar asks, curiosus. Now Jaune doesn't want to answer as he's watching two Rubies laugh hysterically.
"What did you do? Send in boxtops for a prize?" Ruby asks as she lets everything out.
"Yeah, fifty!"
Ruby went quiet for a single moment before falling out of her seat onto the floor, rolling. "Ruby, you dolt! Get back in your seat!" Weiss shouts as she really doesn't see this reaction necessary. Jaune has the same face on screen as he looks at his friend. Yang couldn't hold back either as she joined her sister's amusement, just not on the floor.
Jaune pouts as Ruby only laughs louder. Ruby tumbles back onto the floor, guffaws finally ceasing as Ren comments that not everything should be grown out of.
"Can't have a huntsman without his weapon," Jaune is saved as the Blacksmith returns at last, "Made all the modifications you asked for. That was some fine metal you brought me, accents the white nicely. Where'd you get it from?"
Jaune looks over the shield with a look of remembrance. "From a friend."
As all the laughing died down it became slightly somber, knowing who that 'friend' was.
Ren, Ruby, and Nora are waiting outside for Jaune to finish up. When he comes out he's wearing his armor, shield in hand. Upon taking out the sword it gives a nice ring.
Yang lets out a whistle, "Looking good Jaune." Jaune rubs the back of his head in embarrassment.
I'll say… Pyrrha sports a blush at the Jaune on screen and the one sitting next to her.
The Blacksmith believes that Jaune cleans up nicely with the outfit. Ren agrees as Jaune makes his way over to them. "I still think a grenade launcher would have really brought the look together," Nora assesses, giving her own opinion.
"Nothing's gonna stop Team RNJR now!" Ruby shouts, raising a fist into the air.
"Team JNRR," Nora counters sternly. Ren says that that's still not a color.
"Doesn't matter what we're called, as long as we're together," Jaune cuts in, sheathing his sword. The Blacksmith is leaning up against a window pillar, asking if they're sure they want to go.
"Sorry, but we've gotten another mission," Ruby explains. Nora finishes that it's to make it to Haven Academy, no matter what.
"We've heard the next village over has a working airship," Ren adds. The Blacksmith rubs his chin letting them know that there's no way to know for sure. As even scroll signals weren't the best, even when Beacon Tower was still up.
"But it's a start!" Ruby states optimistically.
"Well, there's only one way to find out!" Ruby and the others wave goodbye to the Blacksmith as they head on that way to the next village. While on the trail, Jaune goes through a checklist: food? Check. Water? Check. Ammo? Plentiful. And lastly, the map? Well, that one might have been forgotten.
"We don't have a map? Please say we have a map." Jaune hopes that they misplaced it, but as the question was thrown around, the poor boy groaned.
Nora chuckled nervously as Ren silently shook his head. "Guys…" Jaune moaned in dismay.
Jaune desperately hopes that his friends are joking, only to horribly find out they aren't.
Atlas carrier ships fly past a window with Weiss looking out of it.
"Aww, Weiss, you look so pretty!" Ruby coos, much to Weiss' enormous embarrassment.
"Ruby, you're seeing me wearing the outfit now, I don't see how it's any different."
"W-well it isn't, but still…" She trails off, wondering why the heck she even commented that in the first place. Of course! It's because we're BFFs and I'm just complimenting her because she looks nice. But she always looks nice… What am I thinking? Weiss is just my friend.
A knock is heard at the door. As Weiss answers, Klein walks in.
"Klein!" All of Team RWBY burst out. They've become rather fond of the butler after seeing him in the shorts, getting to him through those. It appears they'll get more of him this volume as well.
"Pardon the interruption Ms. Schnee, but your Father wishes to speak to you." Weiss releases a sigh and begins to make her way to see her Father.
What does he want now? Weiss thinks bitterly.
The intro music begins to play as four Grimm arms surround a circle containing Team RWBY's colors.
"Ooh, I wonder what this volume's intro will look like!" Ruby says happily.
A Beowulf swallows the circle, but four rotating spheres break free: red, white, black, and gold. They smash through the top of Beacon Tower and spread out all over Remnant.
I'm obviously going back to Atlas, Weiss evaluates.
I must be going back…home. Black starts to feel nervous as she's now going to have to face her parents after all this time.
Ruby is clearly heading to Mistral and Yang is staying back at home in Patch.
Ruby's walking alone on a path, the wind blowing her hood off and she turns to find her friends along with her. They continue their journey as a crow flies above, changing to show Qrow himself.
Blake looks at the screen curiously. Is that supposed to mean something?
Weiss is at home, introducing Klein and who seems to be Weiss' brother, along with Weiss' father and General Ironwood.
Whitley… Weiss narrows her eyes as she looks at her brother.
Glyphs form behind Weiss as she holds her head, though she breaks loose as if she were in a glass prison. Black stands at the very tip of a ship with Sun coming behind her with a surprise hug.
He better not do what I think he's going to do. Blake could feel annoyance rise within her at the very prospect.
Coming up behind them both is a large man, putting a hand on each of their shoulders.
"That's your dad?!" Sun and Yang say in unison.
"That dude is massive!" Sun adds. Yang suddenly, and rightfully, feels a bit intimidated. Blake only rolls her eyes.
The large man shoves Sun out of the way, making room for Blake's mom.
The audience couldn't help but let out a few laughs as Sun pouts. "What did I do to make such a bad impression?"
Blake frowns as she looks off in the distance, transitioning to Yang sparring with her dad.
"Huh, my outfit is a bit different than the one on screen, why is that?"
Ruby lets out an excited gasp, "Do you think you recover just a bit to come out of the house?" Yang just shrugs, it could be a possibility.
Yang holds onto her head as everything spins, showing two Yangs, but one has both of her arms. Yang's then falling down a fiery pit with Adam in the back.
Guess we'll be going down Trauma Lane… Yang huffs, a pang of fear spiking as she sees Adam's glowing red mask.
Two White Fang members appear but they're not there for long as Hazel is cracking his knuckles. Then seeing Cinder, Tyrian, and Watts before seeing Salem at the top of a rock tower, Grimm showing themselves and howling.
In an abandoned village, Ruby battles Tyrian with Crescent Rose, Blake dodging attacks from Adam, Weiss training herself and her Summonings, and the rest of Team RNJR fighting Grimm. Team RNJR pose as they stare forward and the intro ends with Team RWBY gazing off into a clear sky, RWBY showcasing itself in the clouds.
The TV goes black and few people give themselves a good stretch. "I still want to know what I did to get on your dad's bad side," Sun pouts, looking over at Blake.
"I believe I have an idea, but I sincerely hope I'm wrong," She responds sternly.
"It's not like he snuck on the boat and essentially followed you," Nora says off-handedly. This only made Blake's frown deepen.
Sun raises his hands in surrender at the girl's glare. "Of course I wouldn't do that, because that would be totally creepy and weird!" Blake doesn't believe him, she just gave him a look.
A/N: I hope you enjoyed reading the chapter and I had a lot of fun making it. I don't have any announcements to make in this note except have a good day/night, wherever you live!
