Set near the end of "Frozen." I own nothing, etc.
She could only save two more from the virus that plagued her.
From what she could understand from the minds of Jonas and the strange man who had been sitting at her bedside when she awoke, there were four remaining people who needed her help. One was Jonas. The second was the blonde woman. The third was the person she understood to be a student of the human body and the methods by which one might heal it. The fourth was a somewhat irritable man who appeared to be their leader.
How would she choose?
She would have to be strategic in her choices. The healer must be saved, of course. She stood the greatest chance of saving the others. And so, she had made her way quickly to the healer's bedside.
Carefully, she worked to restore the woman to health. She then sagged down to the bed, just barely managing to keep herself from hitting the floor. She could practically feel how close to death she was. The next healing would be the death of her.
Now for the hard part - choosing the next person to save. She decided to assess the blonde woman's health, since she was in the next bed.
Her brow wrinkled as she assessed the body. Somehow, the blonde was fighting the disease more effectively than the healer had been. She could see that the illness would still take this woman's life, but she had a higher chance than the others might of living to see a cure.
That left the other two. A quick assessment of each revealed that they were both in the same condition. She would have to choose between them on some other grounds.
The leader of this group was surely important. But Jonas...
He had been kind to her. He had communicated with her in a way the others had not - possibly could not. Would his intellect and care result in his being more helpful than the older man?
Or maybe she just liked him more and thought he deserved a fair chance. She was unwilling to admit what she felt either way.
A sudden sound of raised voices in the corridor - people looking for me? - forced her to choose quickly. Frantically, she looked back and forth between the two men before making her decision.
She saw Jonas' eyes meet her in recognition before she blacked out.
