"Are you sure he'll be ok?" Skystar asked nervously glancing back to here Unnamed was dueling.

"I cannot say for certain," Varis admitted over knowing how worried Skystar would be for his brother. "but the time he will give us will assist us in stopping Lightning. For now let's keep our minds focused on ahead, and stop Lightning."

"He's right, if Midna can help Lightning everything will be ok." Nyx agreed.

"We're nearing points!" Playmaker (Ai) called as there approaching three intersect ways. "Okay Ghost Gal's group head to the left! Rosaly's group head to the right!"

"We will take the middle." Varis spoke to the Lost Incident victims from that. "Move out!"

Nodding the three groups split up at that heading to their designated positions.

So Varis, Nyx, Midna, Playmaker (Ai), Soulburner, Flame, Elsa, Aqua, Specter, Earth, & Skystar head in one direction.

At Ghost Gal's group she has Blue Gal, Hyperdrive, Kitakaze, Phantom, Melodic Angel, and Songbird.

And Rosaly has the Shepherd, Gore who came into the battle himself, Shingen, Fright Master, Magus, and Rebellion Bird (Shay) with her leading on at the different rows.


"How many of these things are there?" Gore frowned as Giant Ogre destroyed another D-Scale Battle Coela. "They're never ending."

"Then stop complaining and keep dueling." Shepherd told him.

"Lightning definitely keeps himself on guard from anyone getting in the palace." Magus admitted as evaded, and fought against the soldiers.

"Remember our objective, destroy all opposition, and leave Lightning to Midna's group." Rosaly reminded over as Vampire Genesis destroys Full Metal Dunkle.

"You'll have to get through me, and Bohman before reaching Lightning." Harlin flew in front of them to block there progress.

Fright Master frowned. "You, you're Bohman's baby brother."

"I maybe so but I'm the one who helped him be who he is with the Hydradrives." Harlin confirmed over he's basically Bohman's mentor in the Hydradrive cards.

"Then it's about time I show the rest of these people how to duel against them." Shepherd stated coldly. "I'll take you out here and now."

"Very well then, I'll duel, and see what you can do against me." Harlin said as they rode speeding through the Palace. "And we're gonna take this with a Speed Duel!"

"You won't survive!" the Shepherd called as they flew off together.

"This is really bad." Magus frowned seeing that as Gore narrowed his eyes.

"And now I activate Flow's ability! Once every turn, I force a card on your field to return to your hand!" Harlin added as Flow glowed. "I return Battledrone General!"

Flow charged up as the Shepherd called over. "You fool, your crazy if you think I'll allow that! I activate Demolition Drone!" His last face-down flipped.

"I Tribute General to halve all instances of battle damage I take for this turn!" the Shepherd called as General vanished forcing Flow to stop. "So your effect resolves without doing a thing!"

"But now he's lost his best monster." Magus frowned.

"That's what Songbird tries to tell him." Rebellion Bird frowned.

"A officer knows best when to retreat at the best sign of danger." the Shepherd stated over he done so logically.

"Well now let's hope it's worth it." Harlin takes a card. "With this card Hydradrive Utilization!"

"Due to the effect of Demolition Drone the damage from this battle is halved!" the Shepherd reminded as Twin Knight slashed down destroying Warrant, and knocking the Shepherd back. (The Shepherd: 2500/Hand: 0)

Harlin stared over before then saying. "I end my turn."

"Don't think, I let this AI toss me like a rug." the Shepherd grabbed his fedora. "I activate Demolition Drone's other effect from the graveyard! I banish this card, and Warrant to summon Drone Tokens equal to Warrant's Link Rating!" Two Tokens appeared on the field. Although they have no effects so Twin Knight's effect doesn't do anything to them, it does grow stronger.

"The shining turret with no equal! Rise up, and fire your barrage of bullets! Link Summon! Link 4, Stardrone Commander!"

Raising up was a white armored sleek like General, Drone lowering down with three turret guns below it flying above the Sheperd.

"A counter, he did have something planned." Magus smiled.

"For now." Rebellion Bird admitted only to frown. "This duel is far from over."

From the loss of 2 monsters Twin Knight lowered in power.

"With this a monster on your field loses 200 points for every Drone card in my graveyard, and after that, a Drone on my field gains attack points equal to the points your monster loses!" the Shepherd called over.

"That's perfect." Gore grinned.

Harlin only stared. "My better? Please, I already thought a step ahead! I activate Hydradrive Mutation's effect in my hand!" He reveals the card in his hand that he added with Utilization. "I return Twin Knight to my Extra Deck!" His Link Monster vanished from the field surprising them. "Then I summon this card to my field!" A lizard like monster rose up growling.

"Your lucky this time, I end my turn." the Shepherd stated over. "My skill's effect ends so Drone Token's points drop down."

"Useless! Commander is unaffected to the effects of your Link Monsters!" The yellow snake heading for Commander was blocked but the Token got hit by it that didn't lower points as it has no ATK to begin with.

Magus frowned. "This is bad."

"Battle! Cubic Lord attack Stardrone Commander!" Cubic Lord shot over before Harlin called. "Judgement Arrows' effect activates doubling Cubic Lord's points!"

Cubic Lord slashed it's axe down destroying Commander instantly while Shepherd was faced with the shockwave. (The Shepherd: 1000/Hand: 0) Harlin isn't done. "And now Cubic Lord's other effect! When it destroys a monster in battle that's the same Attribute as it, it can attack again!"

"He can't survive this attack!" Fright Master cried in shock.

"What?"

"Cubic Lord finish this!" Cubic Lord charges in slashing down the Token as the Shepherd yelled out from the attack before he got on his knees all fours on the Duel Board.

Fright Master's eyes widened. "He lost?"

"Dammit... I guess I wasn't enough." the Shepherd grunted turning over to Rosaly. "Though... isn't it a sibling's duty to look over there brothers or sisters?"

"It is." she nodded at that.

The Shepherd glowed before he then said to his team. "Do not fail like I did..."

"So... which of you is next?" Harlin smirked.

The Shepherd vanished from them as they looked over already knowing that this will be difficult by what they seen. They better hope they can do better, and stop Lightning.


Meanwhile...

Predator Gardener meanwhile is at a desert like area. While his family, and friends are busy with Lightning he has to handle the two last Charisma Duelists before Nyx. He doesn't want to waste a lot of time so he decided to take care of them both at the same day as in dueling one, and then the other so he can finish this quickly.

"Were you waiting long?" a female voice asked from behind.

Predator Gardener blinked turning to see who it was.

There were two woman the last of the Charisma Duelists he has to beat.

First was his next opponent, and the number 5 Duelist, Queen Vexus, a green bee like woman having black lips, and a mole on her face with decorative wings folded to her body, and slippers, and a crown on her head.

And the next one is the Charisma Duelist before Nyx, Cleopatra, the Number 4 Charisma Duelist a woman having black hair, and tanned skin with some Egyptian Mistress like attire on her form, and red lipstick.

"Both our managers told us that you want to duel the two of us today facing one, and then the other." Cleopatra stated over towards Predator Gardener. "Have we kept you?"

"I was afraid I kept you two waiting." Predator Gardener admitted.

"Well we were just informed so safe to say you haven't." Queen Vexus shrugged over not caring. "We both heard about how quickly your approaching the top spots. Once you pass by us, you will then earn the right to face the top 3 Charisma Duelists, the best of all of us."

"Of course before then your gonna need to beat us first." Cleopatra stated over to Predator Gardener. "Do you think, you have what it takes to do that?"

"I've known the whole time who would be my first challenge, and it isn't you two." Predator Gardener answered.

"How dare you-!" Feeling insulted by that Queen Vexus growled but Cleopatra placed a hand on her shoulder staring sternly which Queen Vexus takes a breath before looking at him. "Well if your so confident why don't we start now in a Speed Duel?"

"Fine with me." Predator Gardener nodded calling his Duel Board.

Queen Vexus calls hers which appeared as a green insect board before Cleopatra summoned her's as a mummy/coffin like board as they raced together.

"Oi fly faster!" a large frog avatar with a pigeon like avatar flying him with his talons on his head, and a camera on his head flying off.

"Sorry Yamamoto, this is hard to do!"

"Oi, don't say my real name in Link VRAINS!" the frog avatar snapped at him. "Now we can't miss this chance to see the duel between up, and coming Charisma Duelist, Predator Gardener against not one but TWO Charisma Duelists on the same day! We need all the footage we can get!"

"Yes sir!" the pigeon continued flying as he said this.

"Okay kid, is it ladies' first, or you want to lead the charge?" Queen Vexus asked over at Predator Gardener.

"Ladies first of course." he replied calmly.

They flew before calling. "SPEED DUEL!"

Raising was a purple beetle like Armored Horn with a purple armored bee humanoid riding it screeching loud.

"I pick Ophrys Scorpio in your graveyard, and Beetrooper Baggy Scout in mine! So now place it at the bottom of your Deck!"

Predator Gardener nodded putting the monster on the bottom of his deck. She places a Baggy Scout before then calling. "Now come Sting Lancer!" At that raising up was a yellow bee like monster having stingers for hands, and green wings screeching.

"Well I still have an effect! Since an Insect on my field was destroyed, Beetrooper Formation's effect now kicks in summoning a Beetrooper Token!" At that a small bee humanoid rose up in Attack Position as intending for Predator Gardener to lose his Fusion Monster too if he attacks.

'Hmph... that's the second time he wins in just 1 turn in a row.' Cleopatra thought as she stared. 'Still this provided me some valuable insight into what he can do, and what he will if given the chance. Our pep talk seems to work like a real charm, now I'll deal with the rest.'

They landed on the ground where Queen Vexus was angry well but takes a breath bowing over. "Well done, Predator Gardener... you bested me fair, and square... I conceded, and give you my place as the Number 5 Charisma Duelist." Cleopatra is there to ensure she holds her temper as she's also another hopeless duelist who wants to only win from her reputation which is effective on Queen Vexus to watch herself.

"Thank you." Predator Gardner replied with a small smile.

Queen Vexus rose up as Cleopatra stepped forward. "Well then kid, you won against Queen Vexus, and are now the Number 5 duelist. That means now you have the right to face me. And unlike your previous match we will handle it in a Master Duel." Cleopatra then looked at him. "And I suppose you remember one of your earlier opponents, White Tiger?"

"I remember, it was a good match." he smiled.

"Well both me, and her are rivals in of itself cause our Decks are almost alike." Predator Gardener of course recalls White Tiger telling him Cleopatra plays a Deck that has a similar theme but not quite the same of a three monster type focus. "However unlike her, I am not as soft as she is."

"Then I'd love to see what you can do." Predator Gardener told her.

"Oh sure no problem." Cleopatra said she takes a step back while Queen Vexus takes a seat at a rock to watch with crossed arms as the Master Duel layout appeared in between. "Are you ready?"

They prepared over.

"DUEL!"

"Alright start us off." Cleopatra gives the first turn to Predator Gardener to start with one problem people face with him; he ends them in one turn, so by giving him the first turn will eliminate that, and also provide some chances to attack.

"Letting me go first?" Predator Gardener asked curiously. "Alright, I'll just set one monster and play two cards facedown. That's all."

'Didn't summon one of his Fusions or set a hard attack... seems like he was prepared what to do even if it is his first turn.' Cleopatra thought seeing this before then starting off. "Very well then, I draw." Cleopatra drew waving her arm to see her hand of 6 cards. "I think, I'll start with Ragnaraika Bloom." A spell appeared on her field.

"No, it isn't." Predator Gardener nodded. "Though I'm guessing you use insect, plant, and reptile monsters?"

"I did told you before me, and White Tiger's Decks are almost alike." Cleopatra confirmed.

Predator Gardener nodded at that.

"Now with it on the field, I can either summon Ragnaraika from my hand, field, graveyard, or from being banished to my field in Defense, or add that monster to my hand from my Deck." Cleopatra takes a card adding it. "Then by discarding Serpentine Princess from my hand that's a Reptile, I can summon this card from my hand. Ragnaraika the Evil Seed!"

Sprouting from the ground was purple hair strands that formed into a leaf blooming monster.

She shows one of the cards she added which vanished. "Then the effect of the card, I banished activates but we can wait on that later as it happens at the end of the turn. And moreover as a plant is now on the field Bloom's effect now applies so this lovely seed gains 300 points."

Predator Gardener nodded seeing that.

"Next is Ragnaraika Samurai Beetle's effect in my hand now activates placing the card I banished, Ragnaraika Himejanome to the bottom of my Deck to summon it." Cleopatra shows it as the card returned before a beetle wearing samurai garb holding a katana rose up.

"Well not a bad defender. But now watch as I construct my circuit of the tri-force!" the circuit appeared as the three monsters she summoned shot up entering the bottom, left, and right arrows. "And with them I Link Summon, Link 3, Ragnaraika Tortoise Tyrant!"

Raising was a large blue turtle like monster on the field readying over.

The plant counter appeared before biting Tyrant Tortoise but as it doesn't have a Level, it doesn't do anything.

"No matter, as Samurai Beetle was used to Link Summon a Ragnaraika, I can summon a Insect, Reptile, or Plant from my graveyard in Defense." Cleopatra didn't mind it as it posed no trouble right now. "And my monster of choice is the Serpentine Princess!"

At that a snake like woman rose up with a fanged smile.

"And now I banish Evil Seed from the graveyard to activate the effect of Tyrant Tortoise!" Cleopatra pointed up as it charged energy. "It destroys a Spell or Trap Card on your field equal to what I banish!" Tyrant Tortoise shot a water orb at Predaplanet.

"And now Tyrant Tortoise attack Pterapenthes!" Tyrant Tortoise charged a second orb firing it over at Predator Gardener's monster.

The monster shattered as Predator Gardener braced himself.

"I knew taking the first turn be a good idea cause that way, you won't have much of an edge." Cleopatra stated over towards Predator Gardener. "And I'll tell you even if you break through this, it won't help." She sets 2 cards on her field. "And now at the end of my turn, the effect of Ragnaraika Himejanome now takes effect. I draw 1 card for every monster that's different between Reptile, Insect, or Plant." She only drew 1 but better then nothing at all.

"What's he doing?" Queen Vexus asked with crossed arms seeing this.

"Hey boss, what's Predator Gardener up too? Maybe he given up?" the pigeon asked confused.

"No way, he won't throw in the towel after coming this far! We must assume he has a strong game plan in mind." the frog avatar pointed out as they stared over.

Predator Gardener suddenly smiled. "I use the effect of Predaplant Byblisp in my graveyard to special summon it in defense position." The fly like monster rose up.

Tyrant Tortoise charged an orb firing over at Darlingtonia Cobra.

The monster shattered as Predator Gardener frowned before he smirked. "You assumed I was going for the same move, but I'm not. I banish Predaplanet from my graveyard to fuse Ophrys Scorpio with Predaplant Byblisp in order to fusion summon my Predaplant Ambulomelides." His first Fusion monster rose up growling.

"What?" Cleopatra asked as her face-down shown to be Break Off Trap Hole appeared before shattering. "Was I too early...?" She feels frustrated she assumed things already due to this, and hopes this doesn't cost her.

"I use Predaplant Ambulomelides's ability, tributing your Tyrant Tortoise to bring out my Predaplant Spider Orchid in attack position." Predator Gardener continued as a small spider plant rose on the field.

"I have one more card in my hand you haven't seen yet, my Predapruning spell to bring back Predaplant Flytrap." Predator Gardener mentioned playing the spell as Flytrap rose from the graveyard.

Cleopatra blinked as a Counter bit Serpentine Princess.

"Isn't your Fusion's effect once per turn?" Cleopatra asked to confirm.

"Yes it is, but that's not my goal." Predator Gardener nodded. "Battle, Predaplant Flytrap attack Serpentine Princess!"

"What for?" Queen Vexus asked as Flytrap charges in ahead.

Cleopatra then recalls something thinking. "Wait a sec... against King Fallen if Flytrap battles a monster with an equal or lower level it's..." She then widen her eyes. "Oh no!"

"Predaplant Flytrap's ability destroys a monster with a lower level and his level increases by the original level of your monster." Predator Gardener revealed as Serpentine Princess was destroyed.

Predaplant Flytrap: (LV: 2 + 3 = 5)

"Now, Spider Orchid and Ambulomelides attack you directly."

The two charged in, and due to Bloom's effect increases the power of the attacks striking Cleopatra who stepped back. (Cleopatra: 2400/Hand: 2) "And he still has that Fusion card..." Cleopatra grunted from this.

"I would have liked to end this with my dragon, but your spell prevents that so instead I'll use Predaprime Fusion to merge Spider Orchid and Ambulomelides together to Fusion Summon Predaplant Dragostapelia." At that his dragon plant like monster rose up roaring.

The dragon plant roared charging in as Cleopatra grunted struck, and forced on her knees.

"Impossible... Cleopatra herself... lost?" Queen Vexus asked dumbfounded by what she just saw.

Predator Gardener walked over to offer a hand. "Are you alright?"

Cleopatra looks up before closing her eyes annoyed but takes his hand where he helps her stand up. "I have to admit... NOT the way I intended... seems no matter who starts first, your prepared to eliminate all of your opponents life points at a turn. I wish your sister, Blue Angel, and Gore luck when it's there turn."

"Actually... I don't think I'll get the chance to duel Blue Angel or Gore." Predator Gardener confessed to them. "To be honest... I think this is as far as I'll get."

"It better be." Queen Vexus glared with crossed arms. "You came here saying your Nyx's brother, and picked us off one by one, it's insulting!"

"That's enough." Cleopatra stated she's just as frustrated she knows when to calm herself which Queen Vexus growls turning away but did what she said. "Just know Predator Gardener, I will take my place as the Number 4 Charisma Duelist from either you or Nyx. Be sure this won't be the last time we see each other." She said this to warn him she will be back for him soon.

Predator Gardener nodded with a smile. "I'm looking forward to it Cleopatra."

"Come on we're leaving." Cleopatra stated over towards Queen Vexus who growled as they turned walking before logging out.

Before Predator Gardener can log out to switch to Playmaker he heard a voice. "Oh Mr. Predator Gardener, WAIT!"

Freezing he turned to the voice. The frog avatar, and pigeon had just arrived with the pigeon placing the frog avatar on the ground while the frog avatar raised his mic. "Good we caught ya! Sorry, but we were hoping we get a few words from the new Number 4 Charisma Duelist!"

"Oh, sorry." Predator Gardener apologized before logging out.

"Wha-he got away!" the pigeon called.

"Dag-nabbit we were so close!" the frog avatar frowned. "Ah well we will not miss our next chance once the fated match between Nyx, and Predator Gardener rolls out!"

"Yes boss..." the pigeon sighed as they flew off.


Meanwhile...

Varis' group is still heading off before Playmaker (Ai) froze stopping which stopped them.

"Playmaker?" Soulburner asked seeing that.

Just then Ai popped out of Playmaker's Duel Disk grinning. "Well guess who's back now?"

"Already, that was fast." Skystar admitted.

"Well, I challenged the two at the same time to have me finish it faster." Playmaker now in his real avatar admitted over to them before smiling. "But I am now the Number 4 Charisma Duelist."

"Then... that means your next opponent is..." Soulburner started turning to Nyx.

Playmaker turns over towards his sister. "As soon as we stop Lightning we will have that match though I don't expect to win against you Nyx."

"You two can worry about your duel after we deal with Lightning." Varis mentioned though he had a strange smirk on his face.

"So what did I miss?" Playmaker asked them for what's been going on while he was busy.

"We're losing... badly, Shepherd and Unnamed lost, a lot of the Knights of Hanoi are only managing to match the Bits and Boots, and Bohman hasn't shown up yet." Elsa frowned just as Skystar cried out from something knocking him off his Duel Board.

"Skystar!" Elsa cried shocked as Skystar landed on the ground harshly moving to stand up.

Earth suddenly froze turning to Specter. "Something's here!"

Turning they saw a young man with green hair and blue eyes. "So... which one of you is my opponent."


Ulrich362: Well... Yusaku did well but the war is going... very badly.

bopdog111: Lightning trained his forces well for his psuedo-plan.

Ulrich362: True, but hopefully things start to improve soon.

bopdog111: But now Varis, and the Lost Incident Victims are against someone else.
