"Yo Axel! Hope it's ok to call you that, where you at?" Liana said as she was in the upstairs hallway of the mansion looking for him. She reached his room. "There you…"
Liana stopped and stared at…Lea's…six pack. He wasn't wearing any shirt on, and he was just about to wear one.
"Oh, hey Liana! I uh…sorry," he said before covering his naked upper body with his arm.
"No, no it's…ok…" Liana trailed off.
"Uhm…you're drooling a bit Lia."
Liana immediately wiped the drool off her. "Darn it."
Lea quickly wore his black t-shirt on as he walked past her. "I gotta head downstairs and meet up with Isa."
"What for?"
"He's got something from Merlin."
"You mean one of those wizards you and the others talked about days ago?"
"Yeah. I'm gonna meet up with him since Isa needs my help. I mean, I got nothing to do today anyway."
"I'm coming with."
The two went downstairs and saw Isa and Luna in the living room.
Lea gave him a mock salute. "Yo bro. Anything I can help you with?"
Isa said nothing as he showed a circle-like device to the redheads.
"What's that?" Liana asked.
"It's a tool used to help the user travel from one world to another," Isa explained.
"Whoa! For real?!" Liana said surprised.
"Merlin sent it to me to help him test it out."
"Why can't he test it out himself?" Lea asked.
"Because he's busy helping out the Foretellers. We only need to test it out. After that? We go to Merlin and tell him whether it works or not. Since you have nothing else to do, you are going to come with me."
"No problem. Liana wants to come with."
"Yup!" Liana said.
"I'm coming along as well," Luna spoke up. "I'm curious to see these other worlds. Not only that, someone also needs to keep an eye on Lia here."
"Come on sis, when have I ever found trouble? Coz uh… sure trouble somehow found me…I mean come on, it's not MY fault."
Luna sighed.
"Alright then. Tell Roxas and Xion what we're doing first, then we'll go," Isa told Lea.
Minutes later everyone was prepared.
"Here goes nothing," Isa said before pressing a few buttons on the device. A beam of light went out of the device, as it created a portal.
"Whoa…" both Lea and Liana stared in awe.
"Fascinating…" Luna said.
"Let's go," Isa told them.
They all went into the portal and as they came out, they were in a forest.
"Whoa, we're in Corona?" Lea wondered. "Oh wait, we are!"
Liana looked in awe. "So this is the other world."
"Judging by Lea's reaction, I suppose you've all been here," Luna said.
"With Sora mostly. But we've been here with Roxas and Xion as well," Lea explained.
"Alright, then," The device worked. Now let us-"
"Hey heads up!" Lea said before summoning his keyblade and fired a Firaga spell in the other direction. Isa, Luna and Liana looked behind them to see dozens of Heartless going to attack them.
"Luna! Liana! Hide!" Isa ordered as he summoned his staff and went to attack the Heartless together with Lea.
"Can't argue with that!" Liana agreed with Isa as she and her sister ran for safety.
"These guys are everywhere!" Lea groaned as he kept on attacking. Luna said nothing as he continued with the attack.
Liana and Luna were hiding behind a big log as they continued to watch Lea and Isa fight.
"They're doing great so far. I wish I could do something," Liana said.
"It's best we just stay out of the way," Luna advised.
Suddenly, a twig snapped behind them as they saw a Heartless behind them.
"Run!" Isa yelled.
"Lea! Isa! A little help here!" Liana called out to the two.
Before the two can run, the Heartless raised its hand to attack them.
"Liana look out!"
"Sis!"
But the Heartless struck her in the face, leaving a scar on her cheek. Lea and Liana turned back just in time and looked in horror as they saw Luna on the ground unconscious.
"No…" Lea said.
Lea wasted no chance as he charged to help Liana but Isa ran past him with magical energy swirling around him. Liana stared in horror as the Heartless was about to strike her. Suddenly, the Heartless was lifted from the ground causing it to growl in confusion. Liana opened her eyes and widened her eyes to see Isa lifting the creature off the ground. Electricity began to crawl on the Heartless causing it to howl in pain before crushing its neck, killing it. Isa suddenly charged at the remaining Heartless, destroying them all instantly with his Thundaga spell.
Lea and Liana could only stare at Isa as he looked back at the two. His eyes were glowing yellow as he panted for air. The glowing yellow from his eyes were gone as Isa returned to normal. He ran towards Luna. The bluehead sat on the ground cradling Luna's unconscious body in his arms before performing a Curaga spell on her side of the face.
"Luna…Luna…wake up…please…" he begged.
Luna then groaned. "Is…Liana…?"
"She's alright. Please…just rest…"
"Okay…okay…"
Her eyes slowly closed and fell to sleep.
"I'm…so sorry…" Isa said before he fainted.
Isa shot up straight as he looked around him. Where was he? He was in some kind of room. He looked to his right to see Luna, she's still breathing. Isa sighed in relief before he bent his head down, deep in thought. Suddenly, Luna stirred in her sleep and began to wake up. She sat up on the bed and saw Luna facing down. She walked over to Isa's bed and sat beside him.
"Isa…" she spoke up. She placed her hand on his. "Isa."
He turned to face her.
"Are you alright?" he asked.
"I am. It's just a scratch. But I should be the one asking you that."
"We…no…I was careless. I should have never taken my eyes off on the both of you."
"I'm ok now. That's all that matters," Isa was silent, not bearing to see her in the face. "Isa, look at me." But Isa didn't reply. "Isa. Why don't you want to see me?"
"I can't…bear to see your scar. I'm ashamed…ashamed of my careless mistake. I should have done better."
Luna said nothing as she wrapped her arms around him before whispering. "Shh, it's alright." She slowly laid the both of them on the bed before putting her head on his shoulder. They stayed like that for a few minutes.
"Isa? Can you look at me?"
Silence.
"Isa, please look at me…it'll be alright. Trust me…"
Isa slowly turned to look at her. The two blueheads stared at each other before Luna held Isa's hands in front of the both of them.
"Thankfully, the wound Luna sustained isn't too serious," Merlin told them. "Just a little good rest would do her good. Same goes for Isa. I didn't know he could still access his powers from his days as a Nobody. I thank you all for helping test out my device. I'm glad it worked."
Lea and Liana were in Yen Sid's office chamber and told them everything that had happened. Yen Sid immediately called for Merlin and he, at once, appeared.
Liana sighed in relief. "As long as they're both safe."
"Still, I could've paid more attention," Lea said.
"You were fighting those creatures Lea. You couldn't have known."
"Liana…your sister was injured."
"But Merlin says she's ok now." Lea said nothing as he turned away from Liana. She placed a hand on his shoulder. "It's ok Lea." Lea still said nothing. Liana then wrapped her arms around him. "Feeling better?"
The redhead sighed. "Thanks Lia…" Liana then let go of him. "Hold on, can you hug me longer?"
Liana giggled. "Don't worry. I just want to tell the wizards something first before we can go back with the hugs."
"Oh? And what do you want to ask?" Merlin asked.
"Well…I was wondering if…I can do what Isa do?"
"Do what Lia?" Lea said.
"Do those magic stuff. You know, with the magic staff and all. I want to fight alongside you Lea."
"…WHAT?!"
"You wish to learn how to do magic like Isa?" Yen Sid asked her.
Liana nodded. "When that Heartless, you called it? Almost struck me, I felt so helpless. Useless. Same goes for when I was watching Lea and Isa fight those things. I don't want to sit on the sidelines and watch. I want to help Lea, Isa and the others."
"Are you crazy Lia? It's too-"
"Dangerous? I've heard that way too much from comics, movies and TV if you ask me. Lea, please, let me help."
"Well, I'd say why not?" Merlin agreed with Liana.
"I admire your sense of courage and the willingness to help others Liana," Yen Sid. "If you so wish, you can start your training now with Merlin."
Liana cheered. "Yay!"
Lea sighed. "Liana, I don't want to drag you into this."
"Come on Lea, please?"
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
"Please?"
"No!"
"…then can I interest you with some hugs~?"
"That's not going to-"
Lea was cut off mid-sentence as Liana hugged him. No. This was NOT going to work. Not even Liana hugging like this would make him agree to it. He's going to resist…he's going to…to…
Minutes later
Liana frolically skipped about as they're on their way to check up on Isa and Luna. "Man, I can't wait to start my magic training!"
"Just…" Lea sighed. "Just-"
"Be careful. I know Lea. Don't worry. I guarantee you, my sister is DEFINITELY going to join in on this magic training thing with me JUST to keep an eye on me."
The two arrived at the room where the blueheads are.
"Well, let's make sure Isa and Luna are alright," Lea said as he opened the door. The two redheads went in and saw Isa and Luna on the same bed staring at each other. The blueheads immediately looked at the doorway to see Lea and Liana staring at them back.
"Uhm…" Lea trailed off.
"Are we interrupting something?" Liana asked. "And what were you two doing?"
The two immediately got up from the bed.
"Nothing," Luna immediately said.
"Have you people ever heard of knocking?" Isa muttered loudly.
"Anyways, I got some news to share."
Liana explained how she wants to be trained in the ways of magic like Isa and how she wants to fight alongside them and not feel helpless or defenseless again.
"I'm going to magic training with you Lia," Luna proclaimed.
"Well, that's expected."
"You're not worried for your girl Isa?" Lea asked.
"No, I believe she can take care of herself once she knows how to master magic in combat."
"When will we start?" Luna asked.
A week later
"How does Naminé and Isa do this so easily?" Liana wondered as she kept practicing with her staff with Merlin, Yen Sid supervising. Sora, Kairi and the others were watching her and Luna. She ended up making small fires and electricity.
Lea cheered. "You can do it Lia!"
"Thanks Lea. But how does Luna do it better than me? And she's still a beginner!"
"Because you don't concentrate enough sister!" her sister scolded.
"Ugh…"
"This won't take long for them to do, right?" Lea asked Isa and Naminé. "I mean, this is still basic level training."
"It depends," the blonde witch replied. "They just need to have a strong will to do it."
"It can be any kind of will," Isa said.
"Even the evil ones?" Lea questioned.
Naminé nodded gravely. "Unfortunately…"
"Wait hold on…I'm getting something…" Liana said.
Everyone's attention was towards Liana. Even Luna stopped what she was doing.
"Is she gonna do it?" Sora wondered.
"Hopefully," Roxas said. "They've been at it for a while."
Ven was about to cheer her on but Aqua stopped him. "We have to let her be, Ven. She needs to focus."
Liana then put her staff on the ground as water appeared and washed over the ground. She opened her eyes. "Wait, like that?"
Sora and everyone cheered while Isa and Luna clapped. Merlin and Yen Sid walked over to her.
"It may not be a lot of water conjured, but it's still an improvement," Merlin told her. "Keep this up young lady and you'll be sure to get it. Same goes for you, young Luna."
The sisters nodded.
"Magic, like with music, science and even dance takes practice," Yen Sid explained. "With these skills you have, you may have to face dangerous situations against any creatures, not just the Heartless and the Nobodies."
"It will be scary, we're not going to lie, but trust that your friends will always be there for you," Merlin assured them.
Luna bowed. "Thank you Master Merlin, Master Yen Sid."
Liana cheerfully smiled. "We'll get it done in no time."
The two wizards nodded.
"I admire both of your enthusiasms," Yen Sid said.
Minutes later, everyone hung out at the Destiny Islands' play island, where everyone either played and chatted with one another. Lea and Liana were sitting on the bent tree while Luna and Isa walked around the play island.
"I heard this is Sora and Kairi's spot," Liana recalled.
"Yup. Don't worry, Sora and Kairi don't mind. The two little lovebirds went to play ball with Ven, Roxas and the others. You know, Sora and Kairi shared a special fruit here, where their destinies will be intertwined forever," Lea dramatically said.
"Wow."
"No really."
"What?!"
"Yeah, it's true. There's a fruit like that here."
"Darn…want to share it together~?" Liana teased.
Lea blushed. "What…well…uhm…"
"What? You actually want to share it?!" Lea kept on stuttering and jumbling his words. It was then, Liana widened her eyes in realization before giving a teasing smile. "Hey, Lea~?"
"Huh?"
Liana then gave him a hug and a kiss on a cheek causing him to freeze.
"There. How does that feel~?"
Lea said nothing as he fell back on the ground causing Liana to giggle. He really is adorable.
Isa and Luna were chatting with one another at the back of the play island, discussing spells and magic.
"That is IF you can keep concentrating for that long, you'll be able to release a huge wave of energy. The downside is that you will lose a lot of energy, in turn your body will be weak."
Luna nodded. "I see."
There was a brief silence between the two as they stared at the wave of the ocean.
"Isa?"
"Hmm?'
"What do you…think of me?" she suddenly asked.
"What do I think of you? A very good friend that I can always rely on."
"Is that it?"
"Hmm?" Isa noticed Luna looking away. "Why?"
"I…was…expecting more."
"…Luna, look at me." But Luna stayed silent. "It's alright…look at me." But she still kept silent. Again, she remained silent. "Alright then. Let us go, I saw Lea and Liana behind me."
Luna immediately turned around but as she did, Isa, in a flash, placed a kiss on her cheek, causing her to blush madly. Before she can even try to say anything, Isa wrapped his arms around her and pulled her to a hug. They stayed like that for a long time.
