Chapter 5: The Parade:
Rouge's POV:
Well, this is the most humiliating experience of my life. I'm being held captive by a reborn pharmaceutical ninja guy.
"You will make a good bargaining chip," says Mifune.
"All this over a piece of paper," I asked.
"My dear rodent, it's more than just a scroll," says Mifune.
Mifune: I was born to rule the world
And I almost achieved that goal
I almost could have gotten my do
When I was close to getting the scroll
And now I am back to spread the dark
That's right, my evil is back
That scroll is the ultimate weapon
And here are the facts
There'll be world domination
Complete obliteration
Of all who now defy me
Let the universe prepare
Good ninjas beware
You fools shall not deny me
Now go, go, go, go
It will all be mine
Power so divine
I'll tell the sun to shine
On only me
It will all be mine
Till the end of time
When this perfect crime
Makes history
This is my destiny
Listen up, you batty fool
I made it so you can't fly
You are now my hostage
So, the lizard will deliver to me my prize
I left a note for that chameleon

Of the scroll that I seek

Sonic's POV:
Charmy found Mifune's note. "He wants the scroll in exchange for Rouge," says Charmy.
Shadow pins Espio to a wall. "If you looked for the scroll in the first place-"
Espio stuck his tongue on Shadow's eye, causing Shadow to let go. "You're right about one thing," says Espio, "this is my fault. Find Aneka! We have to get that scroll!"

"Normally, bats creep me out," says Aneka, "but then again, so do lizards, so I'm not going to care."
"Can't we just look for Mifune and beat him up," asks Scar.
Aneka then grabs Scar. "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!"
"Does she do that a lot," asks Shadow.
"I don't know," I said, "this is the second time I've seen her do that."
"Mifune would have been prepared," says Aneka.
"I have an idea," says Espio, "first, we have to get to the parade. The scroll is on a samurai themed float."

The parade was starting. Espio and I were on the float my uncles designed.
"So, where is this scroll," asks Uncle Chuck.
"There," says Espio.
We saw the samurai themed float. It looked like it was made by people who really don't know anything about Japan.
"Okay, now we just gotta get to that scroll," I said.
"I'M ON IT," says Uncle Barnaby. I never thought I'd say this, but we ran too fast...
. . .
We ended up crashing the float.
"I think I swallowed my tongue," says Espio.
"I think I left my stomach back there," I said.
"You see," asks Uncle Chuck, "I told you it was too dangerous!"
"But it was also more exciting," says Uncle Barnaby.
"That's it," I said, "we're trying to save the world, but you two keep arguing! It's Thanksgiving! We should all get along!"
"Sonic's right," says Uncle Chuck, "we have to agree on something."
"Yes," says Uncle Barnaby, "let's do this together!"
. . .
We got back to the float. The people on the float weren't even using real Japanese. "This is stupid," says Espio.
"How did these clowns get the scroll," I asked.
"Time to use my ghost powers," says Uncle Barnaby as he then used his ghostliness to scare them off the float, allowing us to grab it.
"Now, what's the next part of the plan," asks Uncle Chuck.
"Listen..." Espio begins.
