Chapter 1: Valentine Gifts:
Amy's POV:
It's Valetine's Day. I decided to set up a business making valentine's cards. This is going to be great.
"So, how's business going," asks Sally.
"So far... not so great," I said.
"I'm sure you'll get some business," says Sally.
"Maybe you're right," I said.
"Looks like you had one customer already," says Sally.
"Oh no, I made this," I said.
"I'm guessing for Shadow," says Sally.
"Maybe," I said, but it is obvious that it is for Shadow. He is my boyfriend after all.
"Amy, he's not exactly the... type," says Sally.
"I know he seems cold," I said, "but I really like him."
"And I don't understand why," says Sally, "but it's your choice."
"I can't think of anything that can go wrong," says Amy.
Prisoner's POV:
Today was the day I might finally get my parole. I can finally get out of here. But first, it's my turn to test out this ESP machine. The Ideyatron. I then tried it out. Hey, I just realized my parole was on Valentine's Day. That's a good day to take my wife out when I get out of here.
"Now, I'm going to hold up a card and you guess what's on it."
I had to make a guess. "House! Dog! Girl! Car! Saturn!" He then showed me. I got all of them right. I didn't need to guess. I read his mind. "This is amazing!"
The guard came in. "I got bad news."
