The next day, Luan was preparing Shane's perfect birthday breakfast.
"He chose to have you make his breakfast, right?" Luna asked. "It is his choice for breakfast today."
"Yes, he did." Luan says.
Shane was sleeping soundly in his room. He loved sleeping in a bit longer on Sundays.
Shelby watched him as he was snoring rhythmically.
After a bit, Shane stirred from his sleep, got out of bed and stretched, then went off to take a shower.
He took his time. He then dries off and blow dries his curls, and looks for his nicest church outfit. He then comes down to breakfast, making a striking entrance.
"Happy birthday, Shane!" His friends and family say.
"Awww, you're all so kind! Thanks!" Shane says.
As everyone begins eating, Hal looks up at Shane.
"What is church like?" Hal asked, eating a third donut.
"Ask Oliver Queen. He's the lead vocalist and guitarist of the church youth band." Shane says with a smile.
"Dude! You play guitar?!" Hal asked Oliver Queen.
He nods. "For once, you're all coming to youth service, right?" Oliver Queen asked.
"Yeah. The choir doesn't need me today." Shane says. "Luke is taking my place."
"I so wanna see you play…" Hal says.
"Same!" Barry says, finishing his breakfast and dashing upstairs to get dressed.
"He seems to be in high spirits again." Shane says with a smile.
"Somewhat true. He still has his mental issues, but he's happy. That's what's important." Hal says. "He's really excited about your big week, and that's making him feel good."
Shane smiled. "That's good. I'm glad to see him happy." He says.
At church, Luke went to sing with the contemporary choir while Shane went to the youth group with the boys.
"Whoa…" Garth says as he looks around.
"This is awesome!" Hal says. "They have basketball!"
"This looks nice…" Carter says.
Barry was smiling as he looked around the youth group building. He then spotted the air hockey table and played a few rounds.
Oliver Queen was backstage with the other members of the youth band, tuning his guitar.
Meanwhile, Lucy was writing poems.
"Why are you writing poems about Luke? His week has already happened. And his anniversary was yesterday." Luna says.
"I just want to be prepared." Lucy says.
Shane sighed as the youth group began. He put on a smile as Oliver Queen performed with the youth band, cheering with the other boys.
After church, they went to lunch at Twisted Toppings, Shane's favorite pizza place. That's when he got the news about Poseidon's Paradise closing for renovations.
Shane began crying. "No party at the water park! No fair!" He cried as Oliver Queen and Hal tried to reassure him.
"We could do something just as fun as the water park!" Luke says, trying to lighten the mood.
"L-Like what?" Shane sniffed.
"A water splash party." Leni says.
"What's that?" Shane sniffed. "What's a water splash party?"
Leni shrugged before Luke showed his plans.
"Oh…what kind of party is this?" Shane says.
"Well, I pulled a few strings…and I decided to throw you a party at the aquarium!" Luke says. "I'm also planning Garth's birthday to be there as well."
"Wow!" Shane says. Garth was jumping up and down like a kid on too much caffeine, excited about this.
"The greatest birthday week of the century!" Shane says.
Luke smiles and hugs Shane. "A week you truly deserve!" Luke says.
With Lucy, she sighed, putting photos of Luke away. It was hard, but she knew her bond with Luke was basically over. She needed to let him go so he could hang out with his friends, who he seemed to like more than her.
She even ditched a date with Cuphead just to be with Luke, who had plans. He just was always busy and Lucy clearly pushed her life aside for him.
"Sweetie, you don't have to give up your bond with Luke just because he's growing up. He still thinks of you as his sister and a sibling he looks up to." Charity says. "He will make time for you. You just have to let him be himself sometimes."
Lucy nods. "I understand." She says.
Diana and Shane go to the mall.
"So, what did you think of the youth group service?" Shane asked her as they walked into the music store.
"Amazing, to say the least! Nice kids and Oliver Queen is a good guitarist." Diana says. "The look on Zee's face, though! She didn't think Oliver Queen had it in him!"
"I know!" Shane says. "Oliver Queen smirked at her after he was done, and it was glorious…"
Shane then looked for the new Ryder Mathias album as well as the Wars Of The Space Knights movie soundtrack.
"I love Wars Of The Space Knights!" Diana says. "The movie was amazing! Almost as good as the TV series!"
"Oh, for sure!" Shane says. "Rosie Mayfield, Alina Golding, and Yolanda Artemisia are the best actresses in the whole movie! Wouldn't it be insane if we met them?!"
"Ahhhh! I would literally scream to the heavens if we did!" Diana says.
With the others at the aquarium, setup was done a bit ahead of schedule, so they were just hanging out.
"What is so great about this Wars Of The Space Knights thing Shane and Diana are into?" Zee asked.
"It's an awesome series!" Garth says, having seen the TV series and the movie.
"The costumes from the movie and the TV series are interesting…" Oliver Queen says, thinking of designing his own costume inspired by the series itself.
"We should do our second freestyle routine with a song from that movie!" Hal says.
"YES!" Oliver Queen says.
The next thing the others know, Garth, Oliver Queen, Hal, Barry, and Luke start talking about their plans for this. Zee just rolled her eyes.
Shane and Diana had gone to see the Wars Of The Space Knights movie again. They were excited to see it. They were singing along to the songs and cheering for the heroes the whole time.
Later, they were making out in Shane's car. It got a little hot and heavy, but at the end of it, Shane was grinning.
With Luke, he had finished with the rest of the decorations as Luna had prepared Shane's entrance. Luke smiled as the guests soon arrived.
"It looks like everyone is here…" Luna says.
"Everyone but Shane." Shelby says.
"Right." Luke says.
A bit later, Shane arrived and prepared for his entrance.
"Ladies and gentlemen, tonight I'd like to introduce you to a guy who is truly making a splash today…the birthday boy, Shane Christian Loud!" Luna says as Shane appears, posing on a clamshell-themed bed and waving to his guests as they cheered for him, wishing him a happy 18th birthday.
The party started as the aquarium's in-house DJ was playing music. Shane decided to explore the aquarium with Diana.
"Ooooh, the jellyfish…" Diana says, smiling. "They are quite beautiful."
"Not as beautiful as you, my lovely lady." Shane says to Diana.
The ninja twins look in awe.
Garth was in his element, as a lot of people would call it. Aquariums were Garth's favorite thing, whether they were public ones or even his own personal one. He swam around as the fish seemed to follow him.
He smiled as he had planned a show for Shane's party and was eager to show it to everyone.
Kat and Ana go to buy snacks as Kat sees Ana attempting to feed the animals.
"ANA!" Kat screamed. "No!"
"They're hungry." Ana says.
"We don't feed them!" Kat says.
"Who feeds them?" Ana asked.
"The aquarium workers do." Kat says as she buys the snacks.
"Oh, okay." Ana says. She then sits down and eats with Kat.
Shane was soon seated on a throne as Garth got ready for his performance.
"This is gonna be great!" Shane says.
"He's planned and practiced this show for weeks." Oliver Queen says.
As soon as everyone was seated, Garth began his show. It started with him doing a synchronized swimming routine to Firework by Katy Perry, with the bubbles and water motion turning different colors thanks to the tank's LED light features. The fish and ocean creatures followed his every move.
Everyone cheered as Garth then appeared above the water. He smiled and started water-skiing on the backs of two dolphins. The crowd was in awe. Karen was smiling at him.
"And now, for the grand finale!" Garth says, smiling as he collected some water and made it spell out Happy 18th Birthday Shane as he added some purple color to it for a dazzling effect. Shane was awestruck.
"Wow!" Shane says.
"That was insanely awesome!" Hal says.
"Way to go, Garth!" Barry says.
Garth smiles and takes a bow as everyone cheers for him.
After that, Shane decides to open some of his presents. He received some really nice gifts from his siblings and got another Tesla from his parents. He expressed gratitude for these gifts as his parents and siblings hugged him.
Shane then gets to the gifts from his teammates. He opens Hal's gift to see a new cheerleading bag.
"Sweet, thanks! I needed a new cheer bag!" Shane says.
"You're welcome!" Hal says.
Atticus brings in a sculpture of Shane as Music Crusher as he grins.
"Awesome!" Shane says. "Thanks!"
Shane finds Oliver Queen's gift, which is a Blue Beetle pillow and a Blue Beetle stage costume that he designed.
"Whoa! This is amazing work, Oliver! I love it!" Shane says. "How did you know I was into the Blue Beetle?"
Suddenly, the Blue Beetle arrived.
"Oh. My. God!" Shane squealed. "It's really him!"
"I'm looking for the birthday boy!" He says.
"Me! Me!" Shane says, grinning eagerly. "I'm the birthday boy!"
Soon, Shane and Blue Beetle took pictures as Shane was practically beaming.
The aquarium staff soon served dinner as Shane got to sit at the head table. Shane sadly watched his friends at their table, giggling and making jokes.
"Why can't I sit with my friends?" Shane says.
"I thought you'd like a throne, Shane." Shelby says.
"I want to sit with my friends! Either I sit with them or they sit with me!" Shane says.
"Okay, whatever you want, Shane. It is your birthday, after all." Charity says.
Shane sits with them and they eat Shane's favorites.
Ana was eating her vegan food as Kat played with hers.
9-Volt was playing video games instead of eating.
Soon, Savannah brought out the aquarium-themed cake that said Happy 18th birthday, Shane! It's just the start of things to come!
The cake also shone with 18 silver candles.
Everyone began to sing to Shane as Leni records.
Shane wishes his week would go perfectly and blows out all 18 candles in a single breath.
Soon, Diana was feeding Shane his piece of cake.
Hall and Barry were eating three pieces of cake each, while Oliver Queen just ate one piece.
After the party, at home, everyone was preparing for school the next day. Shane still wanted to go to school on his week, which was fair. This was also a spirit week because of the basketball championship game on Saturday.
"What's tomorrow's dress-up day for Spirit Week?" Garth asked.

Thursday- Iconic Duo Day: Dress up as an iconic pair. (Like Mickey and Minnie, Barbie and Ken, Mario and Luigi, etc.)
Friday- Class Color Day: Each class wears a different color. The class with the most color wins a pizza party in the cafeteria during lunch the following Monday. (Freshmen- yellow; Sophomores- blue; Juniors- purple; Seniors- green)
Saturday- Neon Out The Roosters: Students are encouraged to wear neon colors to the big game to cheer on our Golden Knights!
"Dream Job Day." Shane says. "Do any of you have dream jobs?"
They think for a minute or two before they explain.
"Underwater magician." Garth says.
"An athletic fashion model, obviously!" Hal says.
"A candy tester who is also an Olympic track star!" Barry grinned.
"Decisions, decisions…oh, the king of outer space, who also acts on stage and screen!" Oliver Queen says.
Carter showed a picture of himself as a football player.
"What about you, Shane?" Hal asked. "What's your dream job?"
"A party entertainer or musical actor. What about you, Luke?" Shane asked him.
"President of the United States." Luke says. "Who is also a famous singer on the side."
The boys were surprised, but didn't think Luke had that kind of ambition. They didn't question him about it, however.
With the girls, they caught wind of these dress up days.
"Maybe you should consider moving." Stephen says to Jessica. "I bet you don't have a dream job, love."
"Maybe a veterinarian." Jessica says and kisses Stephen.
"Makeup artist." Zee says.
"World-famous scientist." Karen says.
"Rock star." Kara says. "I can see it now…"
"Inventor…" Barbara says sadly.
"I shall be a pop star! The world, no…the universe will hear my melodic voice!" Diana says.
Jessica just smiles at her friends.
