GKC: What's up, everyone! This is GKC here bringing you a remade version of Remnant's Climax Heroes.

KRD: FINALLY!

SR: Heck it's about dang time!

TH: YES! I'm so excited!

KRD: You've all been wanting and waiting for this to happen, so we're making it happen. Please, let this stick this time and not fall off halfway like the first iteration!

GKC: And if possible, critique us if we seem to be pulling away from the usual Kamen Rider formula.

SR: As you will see, we have made lots of changes to the series to make it more like what you'd expect from an original Kamen Rider Fan Series!

TH: I'm confident that this year, great things will come to us and I'm happy to be working with my friends here.

GKC: So with that said, let's retell Remnant's Climax Heroes the way it's supposed to be! Let's begin!

Everyone: Henshin!

Disclaimer: We own nothing but our OCs. RWBY belongs to the late Monty Oum, and the Kamen Rider franchise belongs to Toei.

Chapter 1: The Wolf Comes Howling

Legends. Stories scattered through time. Mankind has grown quite fond of recounting the exploits of heroes and villains, forgetting so easily that we are remnants, byproducts, of a-

*SKRRRRRRRRRRRRRT!*

"Of a forgotten past." a voice finished, as a figure walks through a white void. "The story I created has branched further than my wildest dreams."

The figure watched vividly as images of different versions of a certain world known as Remnant featured alternate realities involving individuals from other worlds or timelines.

In one, a man dressed in a red-blue suit with web-based details and a spider symbol on his chest battled an Atlesian Paladin alongside a beautiful girl that had long blonde hair that glowed like the sun with yellow gauntlets on her fists.

In another, a spiky, brown-haired boy wielding a key-shaped sword took down Beowolves alongside a girl dressed in white and wielding a rapier.

In a third, a black-haired girl with a bow on her head was standing on a rooftop overlooking the city. Next to her was a man wearing a bat suit with his cape flowing in the wind.

In a fourth one, a girl dressed in a red-black Gothic outfit and wielding a large mechanical red scythe fought alongside a blonde girl in a blue dress with silver armor and wielding an invisible blade.

"So many different possibilities. So many worlds. All formed from my original dream." The figure approached a timeline that seemed blank. "And yet, this one has yet to forge a new tale? I wonder though…"

He paused, seeing shadows coiling around the blank timeline like a blackened briar. "I see… this timeline is in need of help."

He soon turned his attention to an invisible audience. "It looks like it's up to me to summon those that will star in this timeline."

Lifting up a hand, four lights began to shine atop his four fingers.

The figure grinned, "Simple souls made into legends. This might prove to be a good tale to view."

He then sent the four lights into the blank timeline, swirling around it and began taking form. "Good luck, heroes."

On the outskirts of a little town on the island of Patch, a crimson-black motorcycle stopped near the edge of town.

"Seems like a good place to stop for a quick bite." The rider of the motorcycle commented. He soon revved his motor and drove into the town.

The people of Patch noticed the newcomer as he parked outside of a noodle stand. All eyes went to the motorcycle that they had never seen before. It was similar to the Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X from Cyberpunk 2077. What made it seem unique was the rear ends and exhaust looked rather bulky, and the front had a wolf-like face.

He walked into the stand and sat down, looking around before gazing at the menu. As he waited for someone to take his order, he began overhearing the mutterings of the people outside.

"Where do you think this newcomer came from?"

"Not sure, have you seen his motorcycle?"

"It's like none I've ever seen before."

The man smirked in amusement as a waitress approached him.

"What can I get for you today sir?"

"I'll take a coffee, three creams and two sugars." The man said as the waitress left. As he was reading the menu, two new voices were heard.

"Sis, that bike is really cool looking."

"Cooler than Bumblebee?"

"Ok that's not fair, sis!" Raising a brow, the man turned around to see two new people walk inside. Walking inside were two young girls, one with long blonde hair that reached her back, and another with a red cloak.

He stared at them for a few minutes before a migraine started to form. He held his head in pain as voices echoed in his mind.

"But I'm so proud of you!"

"Really Sis, it was nothing."

"What do you mean? It was incredible! Everyone at Beacon is going to think you're the bee's knees."

"I don't want to be the "bee's knees", okay? I don't want to be any kind of knees! I just want to be a normal girl with normal knees."

'What… was that?' The man asked himself as the coffee arrived. 'Some kind of vision?'

As he pondered this, the two took notice of him.

"Hey, Yang, have you ever seen him around here?" The red-cloaked girl gestured at the man.

"Ruby, I'm pretty sure I'd remember a hottie like him." The blonde, Yang said with an amused grin.

"Yang, must you go for every guy in town?"

"I'm just saying! It wouldn't hurt to at least introduce ourselves."

"You know I can hear you two, right?" The man pointed out with an amused smirk. The two flinched and turned around, seeing him wave.

"Hehe, uh sorry about that." Yang apologized. "I couldn't help but wonder about your motorcycle. You see, I have one too called Bumblebee."

"Oh? Do you like my ride? I built her myself. Call her the Machine Kurenai." The man said, quite proudly.

"Same here, how fast can yours go?" Yang said, sitting down in front of him, causing Ruby to sigh.

"Around the speed of light if I really push her to her limits…and without the many modifications I built into her." The young man replied.

"No way." Yang laughed, finding that to be ridiculous. "I can imagine it fast but not that fast."

"I'm not joking though." The crimson-eyed man answered, dryly. The two stared dumbfounded at the man before looking at each other. "Anyways, are you going to introduce yourselves?"

"Oh right, I'm Yang Xiao Long, but you can call me…" Yang said before pointing finger guns at him, "Anytime."

"Yang… I'm her little sister Ruby Rose." The now named Ruby sighed at Yang's shenanigans.

"Step siblings I assume?"

"Yep…"

The young man nodded, "Well, Ruby, Yang," He said their names while also getting a strange sense of Deja vu. "My name is Aaron Jaeger."

"Well Aaron, I hope we can get along." Yang smiled brightly.

"Same here, Yang." Aaron replied with a smile of his own.

Within the woods, a lone scrawny boy stared at a figure in the darkness.

"…And this will change my life around?" The boy asked, holding a blackened sphere roughly the size of a golf ball.

Soon a feminine voice replied, "Of course, once you use that Dark Sphere, you will finally be able to achieve your innermost desire."

"With this… I can finally show Yang that I'm not just a weakling!" His response made a figure in the dark smile.

"Indeed. Now go out there and claim your prize." The voice said with glee. The boy began running into town, as the figure chuckled darkly.

Back with the trio, they were walking along a sidewalk. Aaron was walking his Machine Kurenai as he and the others conversed.

"So, you'll be attending Beacon in a few weeks?" Aaron asked.

"Yeah, my sis is still in Signal, but she's going to be an awesome Huntress someday!" Yang said as Ruby blushed in embarrassment.

"That's pretty cool. Though," Aaron glanced at Ruby. "She doesn't look like a social butterfly."

"Yeah, she doesn't really like to talk to many people." Yang sighed. "She's more of a fan of weapons."

"Hey! Weapons are cool!" Ruby retorted, "And besides, I have you and my friends at Signal, Yang."

"I see your problem, Yang."

Yang nodded, only to see someone running towards them. "Oh Gods, not him again…"

"Him?" Aaron asks.

"Woody, a Kid who wanted to date Yang countless times, but she keeps turning him down." Ruby explained.

"Anything about him that seemed like a red flag?" The crimson-eyed man pondered.

"Besides persistent?"

"Yang! Please! At least give me a chance to prove myself!" Woody exclaimed out of breath as he approached the three.

"Can't you take a hint, you creep?!"

Aaron looked at Yang then at Woody. Nothing about the kid seemed like he had any notable features. He seemed average, in both looks and attitude.

"I really don't see what the problem is. Do you just not like him, Yang?" The newcomer inquired.

Ruby leaned over and whispered. "He's been peeping on Yang a lot."

"What? Like in the showers or something?" Aaron whispered back. Ruby nodded, as Woody got on his hands and knees to beg and plead. "Now that's just being desperate…"

"For the last time, my answer is NO!" Yang said as her lilac eyes turned red. "Now go away!"

"But… but…" Woody grits his teeth as negative emotions fill his mind. "If I can't have you…" The Dark Sphere in his pocket gleams as negative emotions cover his Aura. "THEN NO ONE CAN!"

"What the-?!" Yang backed away from the boy as the dark Aura engulfed Woody, molding his body in a different shape. His chest broadened as chitinous armor took shape. His arm became a horned claw as the other grew larger and heavier. He growled at the trio as passersby began screaming and running.

"W-Woody… transformed… into a monster!"

Aaron narrowed his eyes at the transformed Woody. "An Alter…" He said quietly.

"YANG… YANG…" The Alter growled in a distorted voice. The giant arm rose up and slammed into the ground, causing the trio to shield themselves from the dust.

Yang tried to look, only for her eyes widening to see the hand reaching towards the blonde.

"YANG, LOOK OUT!" Ruby exclaimed as she became a flurry of rose petals. Before Yang could be grabbed by the Kabuto Alter, Ruby pushed her away thanks to her Semblance. The two rolled around in the dirt as the Alter stared in confusion.

"GIVE… YANG… BAAAACK!" The Alter roared, delivering a massive swing of its arm. The two braced themselves before they suddenly heard the roar of an engine.

"500 pounds of metal, coming through!" Aaron declared with a happy cackle as he rode on the Machine Kurenai before pulling the brake and used his momentum to perform a front wheelie then turned to slam the back wheel into the Alter's face.

The Alter roared as the wheel grinds, creating sparks. The Alter was sent flying back from the wheelie as the bike skids to where Yang and Ruby were.

"Aaron?" Ruby looked up in awe, as Aaron turned to them.

"You two might want to step back. This is something beyond your skill." Aaron told the girls as he climbed off his motorcycle.

"Are you crazy?!" Ruby gawked. "You're going to get hurt!"

"Not the first time I've had this dance and number with an Alter." Aaron waved off nonchalantly.

"I'm sorry, what?! You know what that thing he turned into is?!" Yang exclaimed incredulously. Suddenly, there was a howl that the civilians knew all too well.

"Grimm… GRIMM!" Ruby shouted, as hordes of blackened werewolves were approaching. Each of them had bony protrusions and bone masks.

"So, calling in reinforcements, huh?" Aaron smirked rather toothy. "Not surprising. Alters have the power to attract and command any nearby Grimm in the area. To call in this many Beowolves must mean you've got a lot of negativity flowing through your Aura."

"Aaron, will you unleash your power here? They are watching." A voice echoed in his mind.

"Everyone else has already fled. And it's only two girls. What's the big deal?" Aaron shrugged before reaching into his jacket to pull out…a belt buckle?

"OOH! It must be a special weapon!" Ruby began gushing at the possibility of what it could be. Her imagination went wild as she tried to picture what it could turn into.

"Heh, don't say I didn't warn you."

"Hey, at least it'll make Ruby's Day." Aaron pointed out. Then he gave a bloodthirsty grin at the Grimm and the Alter. "Now, let's go hunting." He then reached into his pocket and pulled a sphere similar to the Dark Sphere the Alter held, but this one had a different color and had a mechanical attachment. It was crimson red and it had a sigil of a wolf.

"Let's get to it, partner." The… sphere blinked?

"D-Did that sphere just talk?!" Ruby and Yang gawk. Aaron grinned as he placed the buckle on his waist, letting a belt and holder take form. The Buckle itself was shaped like a snarling wolf with a sort of Handle on the right-hand side of the buckle.

AURA DRIVER!

He tosses the red sphere in the air before catching it as he opens the wolf head by pulling the handle. With a flourish between his fingers, Aaron places the sphere into the maw of the wolf's 'mouth'.

AURA SPHERE LINKED! WOLF!

The Sphere shined as Aaron's Aura flared. A giant red wolf made of aura flew out of the Sphere, standing behind him on all fours as it howled loudly. The Alter and Grimm stepped back in surprise with Yang and Ruby in awe and shock. Aaron then stood ready; arms crossed before bringing one across his chest.

"Henshin!" Aaron said, before pushing the handle. This caused the maw to close down, causing the Sphere to glow brightly.

CRIMSON HUNTER! KURENAI WOLF! GROWL!

The Wolf howled as it began creating a tornado around Aaron. His aura wrapped around his body, creating a full-body black skinsuit with white lines running along his arms and legs along with a solid black helmet with dim compact eyes. A pair of bug-like yellow eyes flashed as the Aura Wolf became a light that engulfed the rest of his body.

When it finally dimmed, it revealed a new warrior standing in Aaron's place. He was clad in a full-body black skinsuit with white lines running along his arms and legs, a crimson chest plate that resembled the muscles of a human thanks to black markings that helped detail said muscles, angular shoulder guards, crimson gauntlets that encompassed the entirety of his hands and resembled claws, crimson high tech greaves with white claw marks, and black-red boots with indentions to resemble the claws of a beast. His helmet was black with a red 'mask' fashioned in the shape of a snarling wolf with a silver mouthpiece that resembled fangs and bug-like yellow eyes that shone after the transformation was complete.

Both the enemies and the sisters were completely dumbfounded by the reveal of this warrior.

Ruby especially since she was hyperventilating so hard. And why wouldn't she? Because she had just witnessed possibly the coolest thing a girl her age could ever witness in her lifetime. Yang noticed how her little sister was breathing a bit too fast, "Ruby, are you-" She didn't get to finish as the little reaper suddenly squealed so loud that the Rider, as well as the Alter and Grimm were caught off guard by the sheer volume.

"What the-" the wolf-themed warrior spoke before a red blur zipped right in front of them.

"Ohmygods, you look so awesome~!" Ruby squealed in delight as she blinked from one place to another as if teleporting herself trying to look at every angle at the boy. The warrior looked at Ruby in confusion, as the others seemed to be trying to figure out what was going on.

"Uh… Ruby?" Yang blinked.

"How did you transform?! What's this armor made of?! Can you shoot lasers with it?!" Ruby asked excitedly, talking too fast.

"Ruby! Fangirl about my awesome armor later! Trying to look cool and save your lives!" The armored Aaron exclaimed comically, placing his hand over the girl's mouth.

"Mmmmmmmm~!" Ruby muffled out with a pout.

"Stop pouting. Cuteness will not affect me." Aaron deadpanned.

The Alter shook his head, roaring angrily as his fist was raised.

"AARON, RUBY! ABOVE YOU!" Yang screamed as the fist came down. But in a swift movement, the hand was blocked and pushed back, causing the Alter to stumble backwards.

"Do you mind?! Trying to have a conversation here!" Aaron shouted. Then he tossed the Alter away with little effort. "Honestly, some people. No manners."

Yang quickly went to Ruby before looking at Aaron. "Are you sure you don't need our help?"

Aaron merely cracked his knuckles as he got ready. "Nah, I'm good. I've handled worse odds."

The Alter slowly and angrily got back up, steam flaring from his nostrils.

"Hope you're ready, because this wolf is ready to sink his fangs into his prey." The armored warrior said with an almost beastly snarl coming from his voice as his yellow eyes flared.

((Insert BGM: BLOOD on FIRE by AAA))

"GIVE… ME… YAAAAAANG!" The Alter roared as Beowolves snarled and began charging at the Warrior.

The warrior chuckled as he ducked under the first swipe to deliver a punch that sent the Grimm flying into his brethren. The power behind it even left a literal hole in the Beowolve's chest, killing it instantly as it faded away.

"That was one blow!" Yang exclaimed in disbelief.

"Hm, too much force on that punch. I was hoping to pull back to about thirty percent. Make this fight a challenge." Aaron said, looking at his fist for a few seconds. "Oh well, that's what I get for being eager in a hunt."

"So cool…" Ruby gushed with sparkles in her eyes.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAGH! KILL HIIIIIM! GIVE ME… YAAAAAAAAANG!" the Alter roared as the Beowolf Grimm once again charged in at the crimson wolf warrior, some already going after the sisters.

"Hm, trying to go for the lesser threat, huh? Pathetic." Aaron said, dryly. Spinning on his heel, he performed a roundhouse kick that sent a literal crimson wind at the Beowolves that ran towards the girls. This crimson wind not only sent them flying, it cut them all in half too before disintegrating into dust.

"No way!" Yang gawked.

"Oh my gods, that move makes the armor look even cooler now!" Ruby said.

"Heh, the red girl is taking a shine to ya." The voice from the Aura Sphere, now blinking from the wolf's eyes on the driver, chuckled.

"It ain't me she likes. It's the armor. When have you ever seen a girl like me like that?" Aaron questioned.

"Well~"

"Hey, that was one time and I wasn't into her," Aaron glowered. "Now, excuse me but I need to kick a couple of fake mutts in the teeth."

He held out his hand, which glowed with his aura. A handle forms as he takes it and pulls, the aura stretching and taking shape. When it was done, he was holding a sword with a Wolf head acting as the hilt.

FANGHOWLER!

"It can summon weapons too?!" Ruby squealed in excitement as she was shaking Yang rapidly.

"Ruby, calm down! And stop shaking me~!"

"I CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN'T!"

Aaron chuckled, twirling his sword before charging at the remaining Grimm. He slid underneath one Beowolf's arm, delivering a slash to its knee. When it fell over, Aaron used it as a springboard to deliver a lariat to another. "Man that never gets old…"

A trio of Beowolves tried to pounce on the armored warrior. However, Aaron flipped a switch on the handle of his FangHowler and the blade of the sword opened along with the wolf's jaws, revealing a gun barrel as it took on the form of a firearm.

GUN MODE!

"Too slow." Aaron said as he casually aimed at the Beowolves and pulled the trigger on his weapon. The bullet sent the Grimm flying as their wounds were absolutely fatal.

"EEEE, ITS A GUN TOO!" Ruby was shaking from an overload of excitement.

"Why is that a surprise?" Yang pondered. "Practically every weapon you've seen is a gun."

"Oh… right." Ruby chuckled sheepishly.

"And now that leaves you…" Aaron said, as the last of the Grimm faded away. The Alter looked around before growling angrily at Aaron.

"YOU WON'T… TAKE YAAANG… AWAY FROM ME!" The Alter roared and charged at Aaron. Aaron took aim and fired a few shots, but the Alter brought up his big arm which blocked the shots.

"Hm, regular bullets won't work. Alright then, close combat it is." Aaron said as he flipped the switch back and the gun mode returned to its original configuration.

SWORD MODE!

"Come on then." Aaron held up his FangHowler in a one-handed stance. The Alter swung his arm, only for the Warrior to slash it. The Alter and Aaron began a dance of armor and blades, trying to break through the others.

Aaron smirked as he moved to the side, and delivered a slash that sent the Alter back. Aaron delivered more slashes which pushed it further backwards, until delivering a final stab that sent it flying.

"DAMN…YOU!" Kabuto Alter snarled as he struggled to get up.

"Time to end this." Aaron said, sending the FangHowler away as its form shattered into red motes of light. Then he grasped the handle on his Driver and pulled it, letting the wolf's jaws open once more then pushed the handle to close the jaws as the wolf's eyes flared amber gold.

BITE!

Red and gold energy surrounded his legs as he got into a beastial stance. His eyes glowed as he pounced at the Kabuto Alter. He delivered multiple kicks, each one releasing energy slashes in the shape of wolf claws.

KURENAI FRENZY!

"Doryaaaaah!" Aaron shouted as he delivered a final kick, sending the Alter flying further back. The monster staggered up as his body was covered in sparks.

"B…BUT WHY YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG?!" The Alter gave one last scream, falling backwards.

*KABOOM!*

((BGM End))

When the smoke passed, the Monster turned into mist similar to the Grimm. The mist converts into the Dark Sphere, leaving an unconscious Woody.

"Alright…" Aaron wiped his hands, before moving to his Holster. Grabbing a spare metal attachment and holding it out. The floating sphere was pulled into the attachment and glowed brightly. When it dimmed, a brown sphere with a silver Kabuto sigil was in his hand. "Welcome to the team, Kabuto."

The brown sphere blinked, giving a few happy chirps. Aaron smiled as he pushed the handle on his Driver and pulled out his Aura Sphere. A wave of aura burst from his body, dispersing the armor and bodysuit that disappeared after, changing him back to his civilian form. He then turned to a speechless Ruby and Yang. After a few minutes, Yang was the first to speak.

"WHAT THE FU-"

Outside the town, the same figure from before watched the whole fight. She looked with a frown as in their hand was an Aura Sphere similar to Aaron's. The only difference was that it was black in color and had a golden Alligator sigil.

"Another failure, I see… what a shame." The Sphere blinked.

"No matter, we have the data we needed." The figure turned. The moon shone revealing the figure to be a woman with long inky hair and chocolate skin.

"Still. That troublesome mutt keeps interfering. Are you sure that it's a good idea to let him run around?" The Sphere questioned.

"In the end, we will use him and the others to further our own goals." The woman said, approaching a Bullhead. Within the vehicle were three other people, each wearing a different styled mask. "And when the time comes, I will personally put him down."

"As you wish, Mistress."

"Glory be… to APEX." The woman said, letting her crimson eyes look at a Scroll with a T-Rex insignia in the background. It showed data on Aaron Jaegar, as well as three other individuals.
