Heavily panting she managed to roll out of the way just as Bakugo propelled himself towards her again, throwing a good size explosion which briefly obscured her vision as he shot himself straight into the air landing behind her and setting off a larger explosion that had her tumbling back a few feet.

"Uraraka hang on!" Deku grit his teeth trying to lift himself up after another hit from Hana.

Rapidly getting to her feet before Bakugo had another chance. She floated herself as well as the rest of the debris around, using them as steppingstones as she whirled around him, kicking off pieces and sending them soaring towards him, making sure to release her quirk as soon as they were about to hit their target.

Desperately ignoring his shouts and explosions, she continued relentlessly until she reached a broken beam that she had floated and used it to knock him against one of the nearby walls. "Wake up!"

Peering through the dust she was able to see him emerge from the rubble a second before he blasted himself forward, grabbing her shoulder and slamming her straight into the brick wall. "AGH!"

Trying to ignore the pain in her head as well as the rest of her body as he held her there, she barely managed to open her eyes in time to see his fist coming at her full force and avoid getting a full blast to the face.

Swinging and circling her arms around and underneath his to try and get the upper hand, she was able to successfully lock his arm with a harsh strike to the side of his face and roughly shoved him into the wall next to her.

She didn't have a lot of time to think since his reflex time was still as sharp as ever. It was as if he didn't even feel pain at the moment, just overcome by pure rage as he flipped them over with a wild look in his eyes.

Her head was pounding as she continued to fight with everything she had, successfully twisting his arm to keep another explosion from trying to land its mark and quickly using her quirk when she gave him a quick kick square in the face sending him flying back. She used this moment to blast her way after him with her rocket boots, lifting her right leg for a surprised roundhouse kick but he managed to grab her leg midair and shoot them upwards.

Knowing what was about to happen she made the quick decision to release her quirk which momentarily caught him by surprise. "Oh no, we're not doing this again1" she shouted jumping onto his back as he tried to fight her off.

Flying through the air Uraraka realized that with every roll he made in an attempt to throw her off, he didn't seem to care whether the building remained standing or either of them lived.

"Katsuki you have to stop this!" She winced when he threw them against the side of one of the nearby buildings, pieces of bricks and glass scrapping them as they went.

"Uraraka!" Mr. Aizawa shouted as he saw them fly by, activating his quirk before they could go headfirst into the already unstable building too far away.

Skidding across the pavement they eventually bounced off the brick wall with a loud crash. Getting the wind knocked out of you definitely wasn't part of the plan, but it'll have to do if it bought her a few more seconds.

Lifting herself on her hands and knees to try and get back up, she was surprised to see Bakugo barely able to stand, yet with the feral look in his eyes she knew there was no way he'd stop. "Katsuki please."

"Uraraka now!"

The moment she saw Shino's scarf fly towards him and wrap around his arms, she quickly fisted her hands increasing Bakugo's weight, pinning him to the ground.

"Bakugo!" Shinso shouted trying to make the blond talk. "I know this isn't you! You'd never want to hurt Uraraka!"

"Shut up!" Bakugo clenched his teeth trying to lift himself, never removing his eyes from the brunette who was trying to keep a firm handle on him.

"Stop!" Fighting back tears Uraraka could see the anger and sadness in his eyes as he kept fighting and fighting against his increased weight until she was scared that with any more force, she could fatally injure him.

"You have to hold on!" Shinso cried out watching the blond shaking from the effort of trying to break free.

"Shinso…" she whimpered feeling the bones in his body trying to resist.

"You can't let go Uraraka! He'll kill you!" Shinso yelled back feeling his own panic rise.

"If I don't then I'll kill him!" she barked back, tears now freely streaming down her face as Bakugo continued to fight against her, but in the middle of him fighting she could barely make out a slight nod he gave as the red in his sclera momentarily turned white. "I can't…."

"Damn it!" Shinso yelled trying to come up with any way to make him talk. He was briefed about this Hana person but didn't know the full extent of her power, but he could see a mind control quirk when he saw one. "Hold on Uraraka!"

With a shaky gasp she felt Bakugo take a slow step forward until he let out an agonizing howl when his bones couldn't hold him up anymore and that's when she immediately released her hold. "I'm sorry Katsuki…" she whispered knowing full well what would happen that the moment she did, he blasted his way towards her with a roar, setting off a large explosion next to her shoulder causing her to hiss and cry out.

"No!" Shinso shouted trying to pull back on the scarf.

Uraraka tried to move but her body wouldn't listen. Not when she willed it to, not when she tried using her quirk again, not even when she felt his eyes burning into her as she peered up at him, her eyes wanted to close as he lifted his palm close to her face with his other securely wrapped around her throat.

"Bakugo don't!" Todoroki shouted trying to get to them when Bousou blocked his way.

"No…" Kirishima tried lifting himself on shaky arms.

"You're killing her!" Shinso shouted. "You're killing Uraraka!"

She could feel his grip on her throat release then tighten and shaking with ever approaching movement of his palm. She didn't know if it was because she suddenly felt so tired, but she swore she could see the conflict in his eyes and a tear stream down his face as her visions began to blur. "Please fight this…"

Was this is? Was this how her story was going to end…?"

"Cha…ko…" he struggled to say as his hand continued to violently shake.

"Bakugo you have to stop!" Shinso bellowed. "Please don't! Is this what you really want?!"

"No. Can't…stop…" Bakugo said between clenched teeth, voice strained. "Please…"

Halting in his steps Shinso nodded. "Thank you."

Without a moment to spare Shinso tried using his quirk "Wake u-" but was quickly forced back a few steps as blinding pain shot through his head like trying to crack his skull open. Falling to his knees he tried to claw at whatever was causing his mind to want to rip itself apart. He couldn't stop. He had to save his friends and whatever was causing this to happen to Bakugo felt so overwhelming like nothings he's ever experienced before.

"I can't…." Digging his nails into his forehead he tried to reach inside Bakugo's mind that was shrouded in chaos right noe with various strange faces staring back at him until he managed to zero in on Bakugo.

Everything turned silent in this dark place, only the echoing sound of his heartbeat as he stared at a small boy who reminded him of a younger version of the blond staring at a few screens.

"Bakugo?"

"What are you doing here?" The boy frowned.

"I'm here to snap you out of it."

"Out of what?" The little boy turned to face him. "Hana already told me no one was here. No one was coming to save me."

"Well, I'm here." Shinso said, narrowing his eyes. "And all of our friends are here too."

"Friends? I don't need friends."

"Yeah, that's you." Shinso muttered. "Yeah, well wether you like it or not we're still here for you, even if you think you don't need us."

Stubbornly wiping his cheek, Bakugo narrowed his little eyes at Shinso. "I've never needed anyone. Always looked out for myself."

"So, what changed?"

Frowning the little boy thought for a moment. "Ochaco." Smiling to himself he quietly chuckled. "She was the first one that understood me other than Izuku. I remember during our first days at UA she actually told me off."

"Sounds like her."

"Told me she liked how I fought… but that she wanted me to be nicer with Izuku. Told me she thought I was scared, that I wanted to distance myself from him which was why I was always so mean to him…and she was right. Turns out she knew me more than I wanted to admit. And it only took her that short amount of time to figure it out." He shook his head with a barely audible scoff. "Never really understood why she took the time to even bother with me."

"Like you told me last year when I was stuck in my dream, she has that effect on people."

"Hmm…" stubbornly pouting his lips Bakugo's face suddenly switched to that of worry when an echoing scream surrounded them. "…Ochaco?! I-Is she ok?!"

"Bakugo-"

"Is she ok?!" the little boy frantically began to look through the screens.

Pressing his lips together Shinso felt his shoulders fall. "I don't know…"

"What do you mean you don't know?!" Bakugo shouted furiously turning around now back to himself, grabbing Shinso by the shirt.

"Well I'm in here with you!" Shinso bit back. "What happened Bakugo?"

Releasing his hold he furiously kicked at all the screens. "How the fuck should I know! They…they had me in this room with this doctor, I don't even know how long. Kept feeling this agonizing pain like my mind was being ripped in two. Next thing I know I'm in here."

"Well, we need to get out. I'm not even supposed to be here, not sure why I am." Shinso worriedly looked around. "Before-"

"Ochaco! Tell me she's ok! Tell me I didn't-" panic rose in his chest when he heard the faint whispers outside.

"Katsuki…"

"Come on!" Shinso began to run with Bakugo next to him. He wasn't sure where they were going, all he knew was they needed to get out fast and was grateful when he saw a door appear not too far away. "This way!"

"How do you know?!"

"I don't!" Shinso snapped back, turning to glare at the blond but was surprised to see Bakugo simply nod.

"Good enough for me." Yanking the door open Bakugo shielded his eyes at the blinding light, until it all came back to him. "No…." With shocked wide-eyed Bakugo saw himself standing in front of Urarakas unmoving body.

Frantically lifting his head, Shinso stared wide eyed at the now slumped Todoroki in front of him and pieces of ice splattered around. 'What just happened?' Shinso frowned in bewilderment never having experienced something like this with his quirk before and locked eyes with a troubled Bakugo who quickly kneeled down next to her.

"Interesting…." Hana lips turned into a sadistic smile when she saw what happened.

"N…" Cautiously lifting her body, Bakugo saw all the fresh cuts and bruises lining her face as well as scorch marks on her wrist and shoulder. "No no no no no! Ochaco come on!" Cradling her in his arms Bakugo felt his chin tremble, lightly shaking her and eyes full of distress as he lifted her wrist to place a soft kiss against the burn mark as well as her forehead. "I'm sorry baby I'm so sorry. Please…. Please don't go ok. Please…you can't leave me." Unable to keep his voice from breaking as the tears gathered in the rims of his eyes, he desperately clutched her to him burying his face deep in the crook of her neck.

"Kat…" slowly fluttering her eyelids open, she could see him starring down at her in disbelief.

"Ochaco?"

She could hear the fear and relive in his tone as she gazed up at him but also saw the hurt in his face when she recoiled and flinched away.

"Hey hey it's me Angel face, it's me." He insisted, moving closer again with his hands up, which was when she saw his eyes back to normal.

With a soft cry she quickly flung herself at him, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck as he did the same closing her eyes shut and inhaling the caramel scent and warmth that only he could provide and was long overdue. "I'm so glad you're back."

"I'm sorry…" he sniffled clutching her tighter with eyes closed. "It was like a fuckin nightmare. I could see what I was doing but I couldn't stop! And I'm sorry...I'm so so sorry…"

Pulling away, she gently cupped his cheek wiping a tear from his cheek, but he wouldn't meet her eyes.

"Don't."

"No-"

"It wasn't you Katsuki."

"That doesn't matter!" he said furiously wiping his eye. "I never-"

"Katsuki." Refusing to let him look away she firmly kept her grip on his face. "I'm here. I'm ok. And I know this was Hana's doing."

Still not convinced that he wasn't blaming himself, she playfully wiggled his face. "Although I must say I'm pretty shocked someone was able to get into that thick head of yours."

Huffing he dragged his eyes over to her face with a small lift of his lips, still disappointed at himself.

"But you found your way back to me." She continued with a warm smile and didn't pull away when he placed his forehead against hers nodding.

"Always will." He gave a faint smile before tenderly kissing her lips and cheek, arm securely wrapped around her waist to help her up when she slightly staggered back. "We need to go. Shinso?"

"Yeah." Shinso said helping Todoroki and Kirishima to their feet. "You love birds about ready?"

"Good to have you back man." Kirishima weakly grinned when Bakugo placed a grateful hand on his shoulder. "Although next time you get pissed at me try not to fling me around like a toy. Kinda hurts a man's pride."

"Shut up, you always just have to open your mouth don't you?" Bakugo rolled his eyes. "Where are the rest of our people?"

"Some are still in there fighting. Class B has their hands full with the lower levels." Todoroki said.

"Alright let's go. We can't leave anyone there." She spoke.

"We won't." Bakugo said as they rushed back inside through one of the gaping holes, stumbling and covering their faces as more debris continued to rain down on them along with guards fighting some of the pros that showed up.

"Kendo!" Uraraka stopped her just as she was exiting one of the rooms with an older man's arms draped over her shoulders. "Is that everyone?"

"Everyone on this floor. Monoma said that they're still working on one of the upper floors!"

"On it!" They ran down the hall and she tried swallowing down the nauseating feeling when they passed the room they had been held in for so long. Grabbing her hand Bakugo gave her a firm squeeze sensing her uneasiness as they ran up the next flight of stairs. They stopped when they finally saw Monoma and Mina exiting one of the rooms with young toddlers scared and holding onto them.

"Thank god your guys are here!" Mina said with clear relief in her tone.

"We're still working on trying to clear the children's ward before this places collapses." Monama said carefully eyeing the structure of the building as a little girl desperately clung onto him.

"Get the class rep once you head out!" Bakugo said quickening his steps into a full out run as they went to make sure all the rooms were empty. When they arrived at the last room, the building shook and they had to quickly sidestep some of the debris from the top floors. "Watch out!"

"No way…these are just babies." Todoroki gasped, letting his eyes roam around at all the cribs lining the walls. They could see an overwhelming number of babies crying and kicking their little legs. "What kind of person would do this?"

"A monster." Bakugo growled quickly moving over to check on them.

"There's too many." Shinso breathed out voicing what they were all thinking but too afraid to say.

"Katsuki…"

"I know." He muttered running his hand through his hair and meeting her eyes. "Don't worry, we'll get them all out.

"I can use my quirk on both the cribs and building if I have to, we just need to hurry." She said already moving the cribs closer together.

"Are you sure? You're still recovering from that fight." Todoroki asked, moving to help her.

"She can do it." Bakugo said without an ounce of hesitation as he met her eyes, knowing that even though he knew she was well beyond her limit at this point that there was nothing anyone could do to persuade her otherwise. "Just…be careful."

"I will." Lifting her chin, she looked back at Todoroki who was already placing some of the babies into the two crips and creating an ice-like shield on top to prevent anything from collapsing on them. "Ready?"

Nodding Todoroki was the first to rush off as she briefly placed her hands on the building next, to try and keep it from falling.

Shinso was getting ready to leave next with two more when Iida came rushing in bloodied and tired but still standing. "Where are they?!"

"Over here!" Bakugo shouted, moving another set of cribs towards the class rep who looked on in shock. It was clear he was hesitant to use his quirk to transport them with that much force. "Iida!"

Snapping his head up, Iidas eyes couldn't have gone any bigger when Bakugo addressed him by his name.

"You can do it. Even without your quirk you're still fast." Bakugo said making sure the babies were secure before meeting Iida's shocked gaze again. "What?"

"N-nothing." Clearing his throat Iida nodded. "I'm glad we agree."

"Oi I'm still faster." Bakugo scowled as the class rep quickly disappeared. After a few minutes they were finally able to get them all out when Bakugo saw the last of them leave down the hall with Iida and Monoma before rushing back into the room. "That's the last of them."

Tiredly nodding Uraraka placed a hand against the wall to steady herself once she felt herself swaying from the dizziness, already feeling the blood dripping from her nose.

"Woah I've got ya." Bakugo snatched her around the waist to help steady her. With a weak smile she let Bakugo lead her out but stopped when she saw an attached glass door to their left. "Wait!" When she moved closer to get a better look, she could only see a single crib in the small quiet room attached to different machinery.

"Why would they do this? Why keep him here alone?" she said once they hurried inside.

"Don't know." Bakugo brows knit together in anger as he staired down at the silver-haired baby smiling up at them. "Guess we have Hana and the Doc to thank for that."

His face hardened in concentration and while he carefully began removing the attachments, Uraraka furrowed her brows when she read over the name tag attached to the clear crib. "Name: Bruce, 8-month-old. Possible quirk: build up kinetic energy. Possible quirk name: Fa J-"

"Alright I've got him." Bakugo carefully lifted the child close to his chest who started to wiggle in protest and protectively placed his hand on the back of his head. "Shh come on buddy, I've got ya."

Nodding she quickly followed behind using her quirk whenever a chunk of block managed to almost fall on them.

"Not so fast!"

Gasping when she saw a glint of silver flash in the corner of her eyes, Uraraka shoved Bakugo aside wincing when Toga's knife managed to pierce her right arm.

"Ochaco!"

"Go! I can handle it, make sure he's ok!" she shouted clutching onto her wounded arm and rolling out of the way when Toga lunged at her again.

"Always in the way." Toga's smile became feral, her fangs glinting in a predatory manner at the thrill of blood she wanted to spill as she lifted a second knife to have one in each hand. "He's always in the damn way!"

"Shit!" Bakugo growled running and taking the stairs two at a time, glancing down at the child's big curious eyes watching him.

Swiping left then right Toga's eyes and smile were those of a girl possessed with nothing else in mind but Uraraka's blood. "Isn't this fun Ochaco?! It's been so long since we've had our girl chats!" Flinging one of her knives at her, Toga gave a loud laugh when Uraraka managed to avoid getting hit. "Fight me!"

Swiftly grabbing her arm Uraraka twisted it until the heel of her palm pointed upwards, immediately releasing the knife as is clattered to the floor. "Enough Toga!"

"No…NO IT'S NEVER ENOUGH DO YOU HEAR ME!" Toga shouted jumping onto her with another knife she pulled from her leg strap, the knife grazing barely an inch from Uraraka's cheek. "NEVER! Just let me end this already!"

"I won't let you…" she grunted. As soon as the pink glow engulfed Toga, Uraraka flung her a few feet away crashing into one of the glass windows from the room.

"AGH!" Covering her face, Uraraka could see Deku pummel inside next with blood all over his left eye. "Deku?!"

"I'm not done yet." Toga wobbled into the hall, knife still in hand.

Turning they could see Toga slowly making her way towards them. The usual happy smile on her face that they had come to know from their first meeting was no longer visible. Instead, they could only see the battered and broken smile she was trying to hold.

And that moment of hesitation was all Hana needed to sneak up behind them and roughly placing each of her hands on top of their heads immediately immobilizing them.

"No!" Panting and gasping for air, Uraraka felt the sudden pain though her eyelids as she continued to listlessly stare at nothing in particular from an outsider's perspective. But through her eyes she could see pictures…visions of things. Visions of people…visions of familiar red eyes sadly staring back at her from afar. Things she wasn't supposed to see. It felt so unreal but every picture, every moment felt as though she was living it right here and now.

'Please stop…please…' Pain, anger, loneliness, death they all flowed through her, and she couldn't make it stop no matter how much she wanted them to.

She wanted to scream, she wanted to cry, she wanted it all to be over.

"Ochaco! Izuku!"

When Hana abruptly removed her hands, they both collapsed to their knees. All the color drained from their face as the visions slowly left them.

"Now you know." Hana grinned patting them both on the head before a large explosion knocked her further away.

"No…" Uraraka said barely above a whisper her terrified eyes absently staring at nothing.

"…Uraraka." Dekus soft voice could be heard next to her.

Turning her shocked eyes towards her best friend, she saw Deku staring back at her with pained and crying eyes.

"Deku…" her voice sounded foreign to her, frail even. Once she slowly blinked, she carefully lifted a hand to her cheeks haven't realized the tears streaming down her own face.

"No…No…" Furiously shaking his head, Deku dangerously narrowed his eyes at Hana shaking with such blinded rage as black whip surrounded his whole body and he lunged himself forward. "NO! YOU CAN'T HAVE THEM!"

Parting her mouth to try and stop him Uraraka leaned down, feeling a pair of strong hands trying to lift her up.

Eyeing the angry confrontation Deku was intent on having with Hana further down the hall, Bakugo tried to get Uraraka to say something, wondering what the hell just happened. "Ochaco?! What did she do? What happened?!" He felt the anger rush to his head when he saw the haunted pale expression on her face as she clutched his arms with trembling hands and a sob escaped her.

"Where's the baby?" she croaked out.

"The kids safe. Mr. Aizawa has him." He reassured her watching her silently nod with trembling lips." Ochaco what is it? Baby talk to me."

"Deku needs help." Her voice was quiet, using all the strength she had left and standing on shaky legs. Upon seeing the apprehension on his face when they saw Toga not too far away, she gave him a firm nod. "Go. I'll be fine."

Squeezing her shoulders, he quickly nodded, blasting himself off in their direction.

"Ochaco…" Toga sing songed. "At least now you know right? I did it all for you."

"No you didn't." Uraraka bent her knees in a defensive pose, keeping a watchful eye on her. "Otherwise, you would have told me, and you wouldn't have tried to hurt the people I love!" she exclaimed, her voice rising.

"You gave me no choice!"

"There's always a damn choice!" Her voice was cracked and raw with anger. Fury crashing through her in waves. "You killed people Toga! I've tried to save you multiple times but now I realize that I can't! As much as I wanted to I can't!"

Swinging the knives furiously at Uraraka, Toga let out a shout of anger and hatred. "I never asked you to save me! I asked for your understanding and friendship! And instead, I lost everything!"

Sidestepping one of her attacks, Uraraka made sure to try and keep out of her reach. It was obvious to her that this wasn't Togas usual style of fighting, she was clearly running on pure anger at this moment.

"Deku!" Bakugo shouted watching the One for All user get thrown through a wall and jumping out of the way when Hana appeared in front of him barely gracing his cheek. What he didn't count on was the blue in her eyes as she lifted her palms and threw a large explosion towards him. "What the hell?!"

"Careful Kacchan." Deku grunted pulling himself to a standing position. "Seems like she can copy your quirk.

"Kinda figured that one out for myself genius!" Bakugo barked back.

"Doesn't seem like she can copy mine though." Deku thought out loud thankful of the fact. That was probably the reason she tried to make it give to her freely knowing it was the only way.

"Oh shut up!" Bakugo shouted in offense. Cursing under his breath when he lifted himself up on shaky arms when one of the explosions managed to knock him down.

"I'll be back." Hana grinned eyes locked on Toga and Uraraka. "Don't you boys go anywhere."

Jumping through the air and rolling out of the way, Uraraka roughly kicked Toga on her back, successfully knocking the knife to the floor.

"Hi." Whirling around Uraraka froze when Hana stood in front of her tilting her head, hand raised. "And now your dead."

Teleporting himself in an instant Kage appeared in front of her cold gaze fixed on a surprised Hana before raising his hand and knocking her away. "Hey bitch remember me!"

Dusting herself off as if it didn't faze her, Hana shook her finger. "Not nice Kage."

"Seems to run in the family." He growled teleporting himself to her and throwing punches her way before teleporting behind her.

Sharing a confused look Deku and Bakugo didn't waste time in attacking too.

Picking up and clutching the knife in her hand tighter, Toga suddenly felt the need to let out all her frustration, and in one single move lunged at Uraraka from behind.

It all happened in slow motion in Urarakas perspective, just as she turned, she saw the gleaming knife in Togas right hand barely an inch away from her as the faint sounds of screaming from her friends echoed in the background. She heard the moment the knife made impact…heard but not felt.

"No." The shocked look on Toga's face and soft whimper that left the villain's throat made Uraraka come back to reality just as she heard a painful grunt when Toga's knife left its target.

On horrifed wobbly legs, Toga heard the clutter of the bloodied knife she held hit the ground as she glanced down to see the seeping red liquid trying to make contact with her shoes.

Usually, she didn't mind the sight of blood. She actually welcomed it. But in that instant Toga realized she didn't want it anywhere near her…not like this, not by her hands, not when she saw Kage barely being caught by Uraraka as his body couldn't hold his own weight anymore. "Kage….?"

Helping him down, Uraraka frantically looked over the stab wound trying to find anything to help make the bleeding stop.

"I-I didn't mean to." Toga stammered stumbling back and falling on her back. "I didn't I…. he wasn't supposed to…I didn't mean…"

"Oh my god." Uraraka gasped when she couldn't get the bleeding to stop eyeing the pink handkerchief next to Toga and trying to use that. "He needs help…he…"

"Shit." Bakugo said from behind, quickly kneeling down next to her with Sero since some of the pros came to help with Hana. Regardless that this person was a villain and one he hated at that. The sight of someone's face becoming pale due to a fatale wound was never something he nor anyone wanted to see again.

"I didn't mean to…" Toga continued to ramble.

Urarakas face carried a mixture of shock and barely contained anger when she saw Toga's whimpering form desperately clutching the sides of her face. "Toga…" she said in a calm and firm tone. "Is this what you wanted?"

Snapping her eyes shut Toga shook her head aware of Urarakas slow footsteps getting closer.

Tightening her fists Uraraka felt her nails piercing her palms as she stopped right in front of her. "Tell me again how this is supposed to help. Tell me again how you think things like this are necessary!"

"Ochaco-"

"I thought I could save you. I really did. People even told me before that it was a lost cause…that you were a lost cause, Toga! But I didn't listen to them before…and look where it's got us."

Flinging the knife towards her and failing, Toga leaned on her hands and knees as her tears continued to fall. "You don't know anything…."

"I know what you've done, and I've seen what Hana wanted to show me…." Trembling, Uraraka felt the tears in her eyes but was stubborn enough to try and keep them away. "So, tell me that it's not true. Please tell me that what I saw is not true!" TELL ME!"

Chuckling Toga slowly shook her head. "That would be a lie Ochaco."

With a shaky breath, Uraraka couldn't think of anything to say only starring at Togas defeated form as she glanced up. "We live in a world full of grief and sadness…it doesn't matter how nice you heroes try to picture it…not everything we want we can have."

"No." Uraraka stubbornly said refusing to believe that.

"The best thing you can do is end it right here." Toga said lifting her tear-stained face as if she herself couldn't bear it anymore. "Kill me."

"I won't."

"KILL ME!" Toga roared letting out agonizing cries. "Just…please…kill me…Ochaco please!"

Remembering that not long ago that's exactly what Uraraka wanted. After everything Togas put her and her friends through…after everything she took away from her. But she couldn't bring herself to do it. Not anymore…not after the once happy and constantly smiling girl in front of her lay on the ground broken and desperately begging for help.

"I wanted to for so long after what you did." Uraraka admitted clenching her fists on either side of her. "But someone reminded me that that's not who I am, and I don't plan to be Himiko Toga."

Kicking the knife away Uraraka heard Toga continued to cry as she made her way back over to Bakugo and Sero before the building shook again.

"He's not going to make it." Sero regretfully whispered as he walked past her and tied up Toga. "And neither will we, this place is about to collapse!"

"Just hang on, we'll get you to a hospital." She tried to reassure, ignoring the uncertain look Bakugo shot at her.

"Uravity…"

She knew what Sero said was true when the bleeding still wouldn't stop, and the light started to fade from Kage's brown eyes until they were dark and empty.

"Come on you can still make it!"

"At least I was able to do one good thing…" With a faint smile Kage slowly shook his head placing his hand on top of hers. "Tell Riku I'm sorry…"

When she knew he was no longer responsive she silently nodded.

"Ochaco, we have to go!" Bakugo tried to lift her up as she continued to stare at Kage's' lifeless body in front of them.

"I got him." Hawks swooped in, cursing under his breath when he saw what had happened. "His brother would want that. Now come on before this whole damn place drops on top of us!"

"You heard big bird." Bakugo swiftly picked her up bridal style as they ran out of the collapsing building.

X

Once they managed to get out of the wreckage and the pros made sure no one was left inside, Uraraka found herself covered with a blanket sitting inside an ambulance with a few of her classmates who had also sustained some injuries after making sure that the people who were saved here were taking care of first.

She watched through hazy eyes as some of the pros were talking to the police along with Deku, Bakugo, Sero and some of the others.

Exhaustedly dragging her eyes around the scent in front of her, she couldn't keep the sadness from clouding her face. Sure, they saved people and all those children and even managed to capture a good number of guards, nurses and even Toga.

But she couldn't keep the nagging feeling in her gut that this wasn't the end as she watches Hana in quirk suppressant restrains walking by with police men and with Mr. Aizawa as precaution. Recalling her conversation earlier with Deku

30 minutes prior…

"Urararka…we got her!" He had said but his face showed anything but relief nor happiness.

"That's good right?" she had asked, hoping that this was finally over.

"That's the thing Uraraka…" He furrowed his brows as if not understanding himself. "…she let herself be captured. Even before Eraserhead got there."

Now…
