The next morning, Lucinda woke up in her new room in the castle. After checking her surroundings, she managed to remember where her things were currently and then checked her new wardrobe to put on clothes for the day.

"Sure am glad that Queen Zelda has allowed me to wear my usual clothes instead of dresses," said Lucinda to herself while she tied her hair into her ponytail, "Though I suppose that could change at any time."

"Excuse me Lady Lucinda," said Finola while knocking on Lucinda's door, "If you are already dressed, please come to the dining room for breakfast." "Both Her Majesty and His Highness are waiting for you."

Lucinda then went out of her room and went to the dining room as she was told. Once there, she saw both Zelda and Leonidas at the table looking glad that she didn't take too long.

"Good morning Lucinda," greeted Leonidas, "Did you sleep well?"

"I actually had a bit of trouble at first since I'm not so used to luxurious beds but I was ok with my sleeping," answered Lucinda.

"I suppose that is to be expected," said Zelda, "Ordon is way different from the castle but I have faith you'll get used to it eventually." "Now please have a seat, the food is almost here."

Lucinda then sat on a chair next to the one Leonidas was sitting on and a minute later royal looking pancakes were served. Lucinda was about to grab one but was stopped by Leonidas.

"I'm sorry Lucinda," apologized Leonidas, "But this is a dish you eat with forks, spoons, and knives, not your hands."

"Oh sorry," apologized Lucinda, "I've just never had this dish before so I didn't know.

"That is alright," said Zelda while cutting a bite size piece of one of her pancakes, "I know there aren't many fancy dishes in Ordon." "I suggest you ask one of us in advance next time."

Lucinda and Leonidas then started following Zelda with eating their pancakes. Once she tasted them, Lucinda felt overflowed with the happiness of the flavor.

"I see that you liked breakfast Lucinda," said Zelda once the three of them finished, "Now. If you'll excuse me, I'll be in my office with today's work." "In the meantime Leonidas, it's time for you to return to your tutoring with Shad." "As for you Lucinda, I'll have Finola give you a proper tour of the castle since you don't know much about it yet and you'll be living here."

Zelda then left and right after that, Finola came into the room.

"Good luck with the tour Lucinda," said Leonidas wishing Lucinda luck before leaving for his tutoring.

Right after, Lucinda followed Finola to different parts of the castle. By the time they were in the library, Lucinda felt overwhelmed by seeing so many books.

"I've never seen books like these before," said Lucinda.

"That's to be expected," replied Finola, "Very few Libraries in Hyrule are as big as or even bigger than this one." "I suggest you spend a fair amount of time here to learn all you can."

Finola then started to guide Lucinda to their next destination when along the way, they encountered who Lucinda assumed was an important noble.

"Pardon me," said the noble to Lucinda once he noticed her, "But who must you be?"

"This is Lucinda of Ordon," answered Finola in Lucinda's stead, "She is Prince Leonidas' suitor." "Lucinda, this is Jerold, the prime minister."

"So you're the farm girl that I've heard won the prince's heart," said Jerold to Lucinda in a rude way, "I don't know what he and Her Majesty are thinking but I suppose it's out of my power to change their mind." "I hope you enjoy your stay here."

"What's his problem," asked Lucinda after Jerold left.

"Don't mind him," said Finola, "He always has issues with how Hyrule is these days under Queen Zelda's rule." "Though to be honest, he is my least favorite noble."

Lucinda and Finola then continued the tour by going to the stable which Lucinda really liked because she liked horses and had always wanted one of her own.

"Well would you look at the time," said Finola to Lucinda as they were headed to the knights' training ground, "It's almost time for the prince's fighting lesson with General Ashei." "I was told by Her Majesty that you are to join them today." "You should go."

Lucinda then went through the halls to where she already knew where Leonidas would be, since she was told by him the previous night, and once there, she saw both Leonidas and Ashei who seemed to be waiting for her.

"Hey Lucinda, how did you like the castle," asked Leonidas.

"It was something way interesting," answered Lucinda while keeping her encounter with the prime minister secret.

"So you're the prince's suitor," said Ashei to Lucinda, "And more importantly, Ilia's daughter."

"You know my mother," asked Lucinda to the general.

"I met her during the Twilight Invasion," explained Ashei, "After that I became a friend of hers and have been since." "It does take me back since it was my service during the Twilight Invasion that made me the general of Hyrule's army." "Anyway, when I was told you'd be joining us today, I decided to spar with you instead of His Highness while he watches."

"Are you sure," asked Leonidas to Ashei in confusion.

"I'm always sure and serious," reminded Ashei to Leonidas, "When you told me that she taught herself and that like you she's a fan of Link, I've been wanting to see what she can do."

Understanding the decision, Lucinda was then given a practice sword and then went to face Ashei in a sparring match. The match started with Lucinda running toward Ashei while pointing her practice sword at her. Ashei then did a side hop once Lucinda got close enough which made her dodge the attack. Lucinda then did a backflip once Ashei did a vertical slice right after. After the backflip, Lucinda tried a vertical spin attack only for Ashei to roll around her while preparing to strike her back. Lucinda then rolled forward just in time and right after, tried to go for a stab which Ashei dodged by flip jumping over her and then tapped her back right after landing.

"I'll admit you have some skill Lucinda," said Ashei after the match ended, "But you still have some ways to go if you hope to get that strong."

"Understood," replied Lucinda while feeling very tired and panting.

"I think we should take a break now Lucinda," suggested Leonidas as he came over to Lucinda, "I think we should go to the garden."

Lucinda, agreeing with Leonidas, then put away the practice sword and left the room with the prince while Ashei watched them leave believing things would start getting interesting.

At the garden, Leonidas and Lucinda started to relax after what they went through so far.

"So how was your tutoring anyway," asked Lucinda to Leonidas.

"More tiring than I remember," answered Leonidas, "I think it was because I had taken a break from it for weeks and Shad, my tutor, intensified it a bit."

"So that's why you wanted us both to have a break," said Lucinda.

"You know," said Leonidas, "Things might be changing for us both but I think we can pull through somehow."

"You may be right," said Lucinda in agreement even though she knew that this was only the beginning of the changes.
