Hello all this will serve as an introduction and will set the accounts that will see our story move forward. I have been reading fanfiction for a very long time and I have been working on it for just as long. First things first I just wanted to acknowledge that I do not own any of these characters that are canon, but the invented characters are my own property. All credit goes to Kishimoto for his incredible world that he created one that I am honoured to have an opportunity to put my spin on.
This is my first real story that I have published so please be gentle in your reviews and know that I will take them all in stride.
I'd like to start off with acknowledging the person whose fanfiction got me interested in writing my own, Shezzo. Their story Life in Konoha's ANBU is absolutely incredible. Please go give it a read. As a tribute, I will be using several of the characters that he introduced with their own backstory their own set of powers and an interesting take on them.
The inclusion of these ANBU is not an attempt to copy his work, but merely an acknowledgement of how important his work was in inspiring me to write my own fanfiction.
Many characters will be used from all the media (Movies, Novels, Manga and Video Games). Nearly every character will have a different background and different motivations.
Finally I like to thank . The website helped with clan names, village names and Jutsu names. It is an incredible source to help out writers like myself who struggle with naming characters.
The Sharingan will not be as powerful in my story as it is in the main timeline. We also will not see Sage mode as powerful.
In my timeline many characters will be alive that are dead in the main timeline. Some aspects of cannon will be completely ignored while others will be explained away.
I am in love with the fine details such as number of troops, division names and placements as well as accurate locations on maps. So you will see a significant amount of details in regard to those things.
With that being said let's set the stage.
Konoha is very different than we know it. After the Nine tails attack and the revelation that Obito was behind it Danzo pushed ever greater for the persecution of the Uchiha.
Minato however refused. He took responsibility for Obitos betrayal. Danzo however saw this as a sign of weakness. Minato was distracted by caring for his new born son and Danzo attempted to seize the Leaf with his Root Orginization.
The coupé was intercepted by a combined effort of the Uchiha clan, The Fourth, his closest ANBU and Jiraiya.
Minato has become a much colder person. He took all the orphans under Danzo and turned them into his own version of Root called Black Platoon. The ninja without clans were allowed to take the Namikaze surname and were adopted into the clan.
Minato ruled with an iron fist. The loss of his beloved and at the hands of his very own student no less made him a much colder man.
Tsunde had returned to the village after hearing about Obito's body and the Hashirama cells contained in his body.
The Akatsuki has begun to move and is preparing to gather the Nine Jinchūriki.
Our Story starts at the same time as Part 2 of the Manga.
That should be just about everything to know up until now.
