May was sitting on top of a desk as Daddy, and Uncle Harry were busy moving stuff into the Parker Industries building.

"So what's all this stuff for Daddy?" May asked curiously.

Daddy then placed down a large piece of machinery, which he was able to live on thanks to his super strength.

He then looked at her and smiled. "Oh, just a few things we were able to acquire."

"You seem May since my father got arrested, which meant that he lost all his assets," Uncle Harry explained. "That means he lost possession of all the buildings he owned and anything inside."

"But how were you able to get it, Uncle Harry?" May asked, frowning. "I thought your daddy said that you were no longer his son?"

"Oh, my lawyers basically said that he wasn't in sound mind when he made that declaration, and they were right," Uncle Harry explained. "I also talked to Liz, and we agreed to divide things between us."

"Isn't she thinking about starting her own company?" Daddy asked.

Uncle Harry nodded. "Not sure I like the idea that we'll be competing with my former wife."

"Or we could work with them," said Daddy optimistically.

Uncle Harry smiled. "Always the optimist."

"With my bad luck, I have to be optimistic," Daddy shrugged.

"Why do you have bad luck, Daddy?" May asked.

"Believe me, sweetheart, I've been asking myself the same question for years," he said, smiling. He then tapped his chin with his finger. "Now that I come to think that the only good things that have happened to me were marrying your mother and finding you."

"I'm glad you found me, too," May smiled.

Uncle Harry smiled at the two of them. "There's nothing that warms the heart more than a father's love for his child. I have to admit I think a little jealous."

"Why doesn't your Daddy love you?" May frowned.

Uncle Harry bent down to her. "I don't know, May, but not every father loves their child as much as yours does."

"But why wouldn't parent love their child?" May asked, confused.

"That's a good question," said Daddy, rubbing her head. "Sadly, I don't have an answer, but I think it comes down to circumstance more than anything else. But May, no matter what reason, your mother and I love you no matter what."

"Even though I can stick to walls like you, Daddy?" May asked.

Daddy smiled at her. "We would love you even if you had two extra pairs of arms."

"Will I grow extra arms?" May asked, looking a little apprehensible.

"It did happen, do you, Pete," Uncle Harry reminded him.

"Oh, that was when I was trying to get rid of my powers, and I was able to cure myself, obviously," said Daddy.

May looked at him, surprised. "You tried to get rid of your powers?"

"It was a long time ago, back when I was still dating your Auntie Gwen," Daddy explained.

"But why did you try to get rid of them?" May asked.

Daddy took a deep breath. "You see, your Auntie Gwen blamed me for the death of her father, or rather, she blamed Spider-Man."

"But you didn't kill her daddy, did you?"

He shook his head. "No, but I was somewhat responsible. You see, I was fighting this nasty bad guy, and during the fight, Auntie Gwen's father jumped in to save a boy who would have been crushed by some rubble. She was so distraught that she blamed me."

"But it was the bad guy's fault, wasn't it?"

"Sometimes when we're angry, it clouds our perspective, and we lash out," Daddy explained.

"Just like how my son blames your father for what happened to mine," said Uncle Harry.

"I see," said May, still a little confused.

Daddy smiled at her. "It'll make a lot more sense when you're older."

"And even then, it won't make sense," the new voice.

They turned and saw Uncle Ben had just entered the building holding a potted plant.

"Uncle Ben!" May cheered and instantly ran up to him, hugging his legs.

Uncle Ben laughed. "She's got a tight grip, five-year-old."

"She has the strength of the spider, so that shouldn't be surprising," Daddy laughed. "So what are you doing here, Ben?"

"Thought I'd give you something to spruce up the place," said Uncle Ben, gesturing to the plant he was holding.

"Thanks," said Daddy as he took it from him. "You know Ben, me, and Harry could do it with some help. I know you're having trouble looking for a job."

"Well, it is hard to give qualifications when you don't have any officially," Uncle Ben shrugged.

"Shame there isn't a system in place to help clones find work," said Uncle Harry.

"I do appreciate the job offer, Peter, but I am trying to distance myself from your life, and you are the scientist in the family," said Uncle Ben.

"I'm smart too!" May pouted.

"Sorry, kiddo," Uncle Ben chuckled, ruffling her hair. "Sometimes I forget that you inherited your father's brains." He then looked back at Daddy and Uncle Harry. "Besides, Harry has already given me a job as manager of his coffee shop."

Uncle Harry shrugged. "Since I'll be busy here, I figured that it would be nice to put someone I trust in charge of the place."

"And you can be sure I'll look after it," Uncle Ben promised.

Daddy's phone began to ring.

"Hello," he said as he answered it. "Oh, Felicia. What's the matter, you sound distraught?" Daddy's eyes then suddenly widening shock. "Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about that Felicia. I'll be there as quickly as I can."

"What's the matter, Pete?" Uncle Harry asked.

Daddy looked at them as if the entire world had fallen apart. "It's Flash, and he's had to be rushed to the hospital."

Peter asked Ben to take me home as he and Harry quickly made their way to the hospital. Once there, they met up with Felicia and the doctor.

"Felicia, we got here as soon as we could," said Peter.

"How Flash?" Harry asked.

"Very well, all things considered," said the doctor. "He's conscious and can see visitors if you want."

They made their way into Flash's hospital room and found him lying on the bed. The first thing that the two of them noticed was that he was missing his legs just below the knee. Felicia told them that he lost them, protecting the superior officer.

"Hey, guys, there's no need to stare," he said somewhat cheerfully.

Harry shook his head. "How can you be so upbeat about losing your legs?"

"There are worse things than losing your limbs in the line of duty," Flash shrugged.

"I wouldn't tell Felicia that if I were you; she's rather broken up about this," Peter advised.

"Yeah, I know," Flash sighed. "She's still pretty angry that I decided to join the army."

"Why did you join the army?" Harry asked.

"Because it's what Spider-Man would do," he said simply.

Peter instantly felt something drop in his stomach the moment he heard those words. Flash joined the army because of him, and because of that, he lost his legs.

"You really think he would join the army?" Peter asked.

"Well, if he didn't have powers or something," Flash shrugged. "I mean, protecting people seems to be his number one credo. So he would either join the army or the police."

Harry looked at Peter and could clearly see his uneasiness with the situation. "I'm sure that Spider-Man would love the fact that you're trying to protect people, but I don't think joining the army is what he had in mind."

"Well, no way you can join the rejoin the army now," said Flash.

"So, when do you plan on doing next?" Harry asked.

"I take part in those sports for disabled people," he said, and then he looked at the two of them. "What about the two of you? Felicia tells me that you're starting a company."

"We're still in the early stages," said Peter.

Flash smirked. "And you're calling it Parker Industries?"

"That was my idea," said Harry and looked at Peter, "we want to distance ourselves as far away from the Osborn name as possible."

"Yeah, I heard about what went down with your old man," Flash nodded. "And here I thought my old man was a nasty piece of work."

Harry then looked at Flash. "You know Flash, our first project, is involved in improving prosthetics, trying to make them feel as real as possible. I was wondering if—"

"If I could be your guinea pig," Flash guessed. "You can sign me up."

They then exited the room and met Felicia outside.

"Still the same old Flash," said Peter.

"He certainly does have a strong will, and that's what I like about him," Felicia smiled. She then looked at Peter and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Peter, you can't blame yourself for Flash."

"So you know why he joined the army?" Peter assumed.

"I asked him and tried to convince him not to, but you know how stubborn he is," she smiled. "Regardless, he made the decision to join the army and he made the decision to save his officer. These were his choices, not yours."

"I know, but I still can't help but feel responsible," he said, looking back at Flash's room. "But don't worry, Felicia, we're gonna do everything we can to help him."

Meanwhile, Aunt May, Aunt Anna, and MJ went through dresses for Aunt May's upcoming wedding.

"This wedding dress looks perfect for you," said MJ, pointing to the wedding dress picture.

"It is a bit flashy," said Aunt May.

"You're going to have to look flashy with all those superheroes attending," MJ smiled. "Don't forget you're going to be the star of the show; you can't let those heroes upstage you."

Aunt May laughed. "No, I don't suppose I can."

"My niece knows what she's talking about, May; she is a supermodel, after all," said Aunt Anna as she continued to look through the pictures. "Though I think this might be a bit more suitable for the occasion."

"Yes, I think that one is more suitable," Aunt May nodded.

"And I think this will look good for May," said MJ, showing her picture of a dress.

"She will look so adorable in that," Aunt May nodded and smiled at her, "but she's going to hate it."

"I know, but she can't walk down the aisle in jeans, can she?" said MJ. "It would be perfect if her hair was longer."

"You disappointed in May's choice of clothes?" Aunt Anna asked.

"I did dream about going on a mother-daughter trip to the mall," MJ admitted sadly.

"You never know she might do it to make you happy," Aunt May encouraged.

"I know, but I want her to be happy, and I don't want to force the issue on her."

Aunt May smiled at her. "You truly do sound like a mother, Mary Jane."

MJ blushed. "Thanks."

"Have you and Peter discussed about having more children?" Aunt Anna asked.

"We do want a big family," MJ nodded. "However, Peter is a little busy trying to get his company off the ground, and we want May to adapt everything before we even consider going for another child."

"I'm sure May would love to have a little brother or sister," said Aunt May.

"I just hope she doesn't feel as if we want to replace her," said MJ. "I mean, she thought we abandoned her once; I don't want her to feel the same way again."

Aunt Anna placed a hand on her shoulder. "She knows it wasn't your fault, and she loves being with both you and Peter."

"I know, but with me jumping to Los Angeles to complete that movie, she's constantly afraid that I'll never come back. Believe me, I know how she felt when my mother took Gayle and me away from Dad."

"Your mother had ample reason to walk away from your father," said Aunt Anna.

"I know," MJ nodded.

"How about we shift focus to happier things?" Aunt May suggested. "We do, after all, have a wedding to plan."

The day of the wedding soon appeared, and everyone that had been invited had arrived. Felicia was pushing Flash's wheelchair towards their seats next to Harry, Randy Robertson, and his father.

"Quite the turnout," said Randy.

"Well, Jarvis is Iron Man Butler, and he is acquainted with a number of superheroes," said Harry.

Sure enough, every Avenger and former Avenger had gathered, even some of the X-Men and the Fantastic Four. Most of them wore costumes, while others were in formal wear.

"Is Spider-Man here?" Flash asked excitedly.

"Not in costume, but I'm sure he's in the crowd somewhere," said Felicia as she sat down next to him.

"I can definitely see Ghost Spider," said Harry.

Gwen had to come in costume because people she knew, like the Flash, still thought she was dead.

"So many so-called superheroes do they have no shame?" Jonah grumbled. "The only decent one I can see is Captain America."

"Son, this is a wedding. Try to show some dignity," Jay scolded.

"You know, I still wonder how Peter's aunt met Mr Jarvis," said Randy. "I mean, she rarely gets around."

"Maybe through connections from when Peter was working with the Doctor Richards," Harry suggested.

"I see that Mrs Parker's family has arrived," Felicia noted, looking at all the Reillys, with Ben among them.

The music then suddenly began, and everyone sat up. First making their way down the aisle was little May tossing flower petals across the floor. Behind her was Aunt May herself, with Peter wrapping his arm around hers and guiding her down. Behind them were Mary Jane and Aunt Anna.

They continued to make their way down the aisle, where Jarvis stood with Tony standing next to him as his best man.

Everyone sat down as the ceremony commenced, and everyone watched in anticipation.

"You may now kiss the bride," said the clergyman.

Jarvis lifted Aunt May's vale, and the two of them kissed. The moment they did, everyone stood up and burst into cheers, Thor and Hercules yelling the loudest. Aunt May then tossed her bouquet, and everyone began to scramble to catch it. The bouquet ended up landing in Felicia's hands.

"Looks like you're going to be the next one to get married, Felicia," said Gwen.

"I don't know about that," said Felicia, blushing.

"I don't know about that, babe," said Flash as he wheeled his way over to her and then began reaching into his pocket, "I was meaning to ask this of you sometime later, but now seems to be the best time." Everyone gasped as he pulled out the ring. "Felicia Hardy, will you marry me?"

Felicia looked at him stunned and burst into tears. "Yes!"

Flash then placed the ring on her finger, and the two of them kissed.

"Was not expecting that," said Harry.

"That was so romantic," said MJ, brushing the tears out of her eyes.

"Who knew he had it in him?" said Randy, stunned.

After that, the wedding continued in full swing, and everyone began hitting the dancefloor.

"You've always been such a graceful dancer, Tiger," MJ smiled.

"Come with the job," Peter smiled.

Peter then suddenly felt someone tugging on his pants. He looked down and saw May beaming up at him.

"Will you dance with me, Daddy?" she asked.

"Of course, pumpkin, if your mother doesn't mind," said Peter.

"You go on ahead," she smiled.

She then watched as May danced with Peter and couldn't help but laugh. She then looked at Aunt May, who was currently dancing with Jarvis, and MJ had never seen so happy before.

"It's nice seeing everyone enjoying themselves once," said a voice next to her.

She looked around and saw Tony standing next to her with a glass of wine in his hand.

"Hello, Tony," she said in a slightly aggressive tone.

Tony sighed. "Look, MJ, I am sorry that I betrayed Peter's trust; I was doing what I thought was right."

MJ narrowed her eyes. "You nearly got my husband killed and convinced him that revealing his identity was the right thing to do."

"I truly thought it was, but I underestimated just how far Peter's enemies would go. Anyway, I wish to provide Peter with a small peace offering."

"And that would be?" MJ asked.

"I wish to give Peter the Iron Spider suit. He can wear it himself or give it to anyone. I don't mind either way. Also, if you need any help regarding his new company, give me a call, and I'll help."

"Hopefully, it won't be that desperate," said MJ, turning her head away from him.

"I do truly want to make amends, MJ; if you are Peter and need any kind of help, just call."

MJ turned ahead and saw Tony walking away.
