Not sure if I told anyone this, but for those of you who have been on my DeviantArt page and those who've seen my post for my updated Anime Collection, but lately when I've been writing, I've been popping in one of the discs into my Xbox X and watching one of the anime's while writing. Pretty sure that some people have a similar strategy when they write, so it's nothing to brag about.
Anyway, time for another chapter for my popular Power Rangers story. For those of you who liked the 1995 movie, you'll be seeing a familiar face from the film, who I might add was played by the man who played Belloq in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Aztec 13: Thanks, also I've been experimenting with an idea I've had since you mentioned Operation Overdrive and I think you'll like this idea I have, but it won't be for a while. And yes, the Rangers will be attending the games, but as for their role I'm still trying to determine that out. Bulk and Skull being funny, I can't take all the credit for that. Just a reader not a writer: Well, it was my plan to begin with. Having the rangers take part in the festival just didn't fit in the cards for my story, but that doesn't mean one or two of the UA students that aren't Bakugo or Monama prepare for the festival. Protecting the world is about protecting what truly matters and saving people. Another reason why I prefer Lightspeed Rescue and Gogo V.
DCD Gojira: Yes, that was a reference to Jackie Chan Adventures. That show still makes me laugh to this day and I've got a few crossover stories involving the Chan Clan and the cast of W.I.T.C.H taking on the forces of darkness, written by Iron117Prime in his style of writing. Did I mention the author has also written a couple of Code Geass/Transformers Prime stories and Devil May Cry/Fairy Tale stories. As for the Timeforce Red Ranger and Quantum Ranger, they'll be showing up soon. But not yet. While I have considered watching the subbed versions of the Unicron Trilogy, I prefer the dubbed ones better, but it would have been nice if they had Starscream remember everything he did to convince the bots and cons to join forces.
Luffy L Deathwalker: If you're talking about Monica Rial, I don't care. I still like her work as a voice actress, and I can use as many pop culture references as I want. Not trying to sound rude, but I like who I like and write what I write. Now, in regard to pop culture references, you do know there are plenty of other stories with references like the one I used. I've missed too many conventions and the chance to meet some of my favorite voice actresses and actors, so I make it a goal to go to as many conventions as I can. Hell, I'm trying to figure out how I can go to Geekdom Con 2024 in Oaks PA, where Lindsay Siedal, Johnny Yong Bosch, Aaron Dismuke, and Austin Tindel will be appearing. I just got to work on figuring out how to get there. I…. kind of don't have a car.

(All Five Rangers flip open their morphers and morph, ready for battle, then repel down, landing on the ground as they rush forward and leap through a wall of fire.)

Behind the rangers, various heroes and students, Jason in his ranger form, along with Kane, Chris, Selwyn, Juni, Yang, and Stacey along with the silhouettes sixteen other rangers and their zords appear behind them, brandishing their weapons while another set of zords appear with the Lightspeed symbol appearing behind them.)

(In front of them, shrouded by shadows is All For One, with Olympius and Shigaraki standing near him while Koragg has his sword drawn as the large group of enemies' charges towards the heroes.)

Chapter 13: Ooze
Skull Cavern
His telescope set up, Jinxer pierced through the inky black of space as he watched the stars. "Oh yes, it's as I predicted." He said to himself. "The planets are falling into perfect alignment. The Grand Cross is coming, and it is the perfect time to distribute the powers taken from those villains to our monsters."
Leaving the telescope behind, he reentered the cavern where several canisters containing the powers taken from the dead villains were each placed on a pedestal, as were several monster cards depicting certain demons. One card in particular, was the card of the soon to be newly powered wind demon known as Whirlin. "Everything is proceeding as you requested, my prince. Soon we'll have our first batch of newly enhanced monsters, ready to destroy the rangers." Jinxer reported to Olympius who was observing the process.
"Good work, Jinxer." The demon prince praised as he looked to the projection of the impending planetary alignment. "Should the Grand Cross pass before we can complete our work, our new allies will help us infuse our monsters with more power."
"Boss! Boss!" Rito shouted as he rushed into the room.
"What is it you boneheaded buffoon!?" Olympius demanded in an annoyed manner.
"Hey! You don't need to call me names! Just for that, I won't tell you!" Rito answered with his arms crossed, until he met Olympius's glare. "Ok, ok, but I think it's best you see for yourselves."
Leading the two to the throne room, Olympius and Jinxer were met with a sight of what appeared to be a rear in the fabric of reality, that crackled with energy. "What the hell is this thing!?" Goldar asked aloud as he, Koragg, Elgar, Miratrix, Scorpina, Ecliptor, and Venjix entered the throne room.
Drawing his sword, Koragg stabbed the tear with his sword, only for it to bounce off. "It appears to be a rift to another universe, which has opened without any of us sensing it." Koragg surmised, sheathing his sword back into his shield. "Perhaps it is an effect of the coming Grand Cross."
"I believe you are correct, Koragg." Jinxer said in agreement just as the entire Skull Cavern began to rumble, causing Elgar to fall flat on his face.
"Woah! Ow!" he groaned as he hit the floor hard. "That's going to leave a mark."
"Something is coming through!" Olympius shouted as he stood back from the rift, just as flames shot out from the rift, followed by a pinkish and purple slime spilled out of the rift, splatting on the floor.
"Ew." Came the groan of Miratrix and Scorpina, who took several steps back to avoid getting slime on their feet, just as the rift closed.
"What is that?!" Ecliptor asked aloud.
Goldar took a few steps forward and took a whiff of the slime, then recoiled backwards. "Whatever it is, it reeks worse then any dark, slimy dungeon that I've ever been to." The gold monster said.
"I always liked the smell Rita and Ed's dungeon smelled. Ah, reminded me of home." Rito reminisced as Venjix's scanners started to scan the slime.
"Huh?! This slime! This slime is alive!" Venjix exclaimed.
"What are you talking about, Venjix?" Olympius shouted.
"My scanners have detected life within this slime." The Machine Empire general answered.
"You mean like that creature from the movie about the thing from space that gets bigger with each person it eats and hates the cold?" Elgar asked after getting back to his feet, while also getting an annoyed look from Koragg. "What? It could happen."
It was at that moment, the slime started to move and gathered in one place, shocking the villains, including the newly arrived Shigaraki and Kurogiri who were brought to the Skull Cavern at Jinxers request. "What the hell is going on? I came here at the request of my master and find you all standing around with your thumbs up your asses. Some allies you…" Shigaraki started to complain before he saw the slime himself as it started to take shape.
Everyone gasped in awe, shock, curiosity, and surprise as the slime began to take a humanoid form, changing into an alien wearing a purple robe, long enough to cover their feet, purple bracelets with red and green gems, and a belt, purple skin, and sharp teeth. The creature groaned as they straightened out their neck, loosening the stiffness with a crack as he looked around. "Where am I?! This isn't space and?!" the creature said with confusion before he turned around and saw someone he recognized. "Goldar? What are you doing here?"
Goldar was confused as to how the unknown alien knew him. "Uh, do I know you?" Goldar asked.
"How could you not know who I-" the creature said in surprise before a thought occurred to him. "Where am I exactly?"
Jinxer turned to Olympius and spoke to the prince. "My prince, I think this creature is from an alternate universe."
"Perhaps you are correct, Jinxer." Olympius agreed, then approached the creature. "I am Olympius, son of Queen Bansheera and future ruler of this planet. You are in another universe of which maybe similar to yours."
"Another Universe?! Well, that explains why this universes Goldar doesn't recognize me." The creature said with shock. "Hey, Princy boy, mind if I ask you what year it is in this universe? I've heard of the multiverse, but I also know that time is different in every other universe. Where I come from, it was the year 1995, if I recall."
"It is the year 2221, but before we continue, who are you?" Olympius answered and asked.
"What?! 2221?! Well, I have to admit I didn't see that coming." The creature exclaimed. "Well, considering you don't know who I am, I might as well introduce myself. I am the galactically feared, globally reviled, universally despised… Ivan Ooze! Or rather was until Zordon of Eltar sealed me away in a hyperlock chamber for six-thousand years. And let me tell you, being stuffed in a smelly chamber is BORING! Not to mention I had a Charley horse since the Renaissance." The now named Ivan Ooze answered.
"So, your universe has a Zordon as well?" Goldar asked.
"Don't tell me that there's a Zordon in this Universe as well?!" Ivan exclaimed with anger.
"Use too. He's dead." Rito answered, which brought a smile to Ivan's face. "But the rangers had regained their powers after Zordon had died."
"WHAT?!" Ivan shouted in rage, letting out a blast of electricity into the air. "Even in every possible universe, that blasted Zordon and his Rangers have to ruin everything!" he then calmed down and let out a sigh. "Oh well."
"Well, the Power Rangers haven't been active ever since the appearance of Quirks." Jinxer added.
"Quirks?" Ivan asked.
"Yes. Eighty percent of the humans of this world have powers. Such as our friends here." Olympius answered, gesturing to Shigaraki and Kurogiri.
"Don't tell me they made a job of being superheroes, right?" Ivan asked sarcastically, only for the villains to nod their heads. "Oh, that's just great! I bet they made a school for superheroes to teach teenagers on how to be superheroes, right?" he asked sarcastically again, only for another nod of the villain's heads. "Well, that's just great! And here I thought the Power Rangers were bad enough." He groaned.
"Uh, if it makes you feel any better, the Power Rangers are back!" Rito said.
"Say no more!" Ivan announced with an evil grin. "I want in."
The gathered villains all looked to Ivan with curious looks before Koragg spoke up. "You wish to join us?"
"Indeed!" Ivan answered. "Considering I've got nowhere else to go, plus I'm also trapped in the universe, I figured you could all use some help in destroying the Power Rangers. Oh, and if you think that I'm talk, let me show you what I can bring to the table." Raising his hands, Ivan shot lighting to the ground and rising up, completely made out of ooze. "Behold! My army! My Oozemen! Stronger than your average human! Skilled martial artists! Better than ninjas! And best of all, I can create more of them with just a spark of lightning." Ivan then looked to Olympius. "So, wadda yeah thing, Princy? That good enough for you?"
Olympius thought for a moment before he spoke. "Very well then. But if you betray me, you will be destroyed." The demon prince said, holding out his hand.
"Right back at you." Ivan said, shaking the demon prince's hand. "Now then, mind if I go solo this once? I want to judge these rangers for myself."
UA High School

As long as he could remember, he was always feared by those around him because of the nature of his quirk. Just by talking to someone, Hitoshi Shinso could easily take control of a person and make them do whatever he wants, which led to him being discriminated because of his quirk. The fifteen-year-old boy with indigo hair and purple eyes always hated it and was jealous of those with more 'heroic' quirks. It's one of the reasons he wanted to become a hero, to prove that just because his quirk was villainous, didn't mean he was meant to be a villain, which was one of the reasons he tried to scout the competition in both Hero Class 1-A and 1-B, while also trying to plant seeds of doubt in them.
As he made his way to the station, his path was blocked by a traffic accident, which forced him to take a shortcut through a nearby alley, but once again, his path was blocked by thugs who didn't look like they wanted to have a chat. "Well, lookie what we got here, boys. Looks like one of them future heroes in the making from UA. Don't you know you got to pay a toll to get through here?" the leader of the thugs asked Shinso.
"Get out of my way. I have a train to catch, and I rather not keep my folks waiting." Shinso said bluntly, not looking to cause any trouble for himself or UA.
"What's the big deal? You go to UA, and you think you're better than us just because you got a pretty decent quirk? Well, I tried out for that school and got rejected! You and all the other dumbasses got a pretty big stick up your ass so I think we should show you what we can do." The leader said as the second thug pulled out a switchblade from his jacket.
"Bet you got a lot of Yen on you. Hand it over and we'll let you pass." The second thug threatened, while the third and forth thugs got behind Shinso.
"Get out of my way!" Shinso shouted, only to be pushed to the ground by one of the thugs behind him while the other grabbed his school bag.
"Keep him down!"
"Find his wallet!"
"Get off of me!" Shinso shouted, starting to get very angry.
"That's no way to treat a student!" Came the voice of Villamax from further down the alley.
"Says who?" the leader demanded, looking back to face Villamax.
"Says me." The redeemed villain said, pointing his thumb to himself.
"Oh yeah, and who the hell are you?" the second thug demanded.
"I am Villamax. And I think you punks need to be taught a lesson in good manners." Villamax said, dropping his belt while the thugs got off of Shinso and glared at him. "That is, if you don't have a problem taking on someone who knows how to defend themselves."
The last comment angered the thugs, who sent his underlings to deal with Villamax. The first thug lunged at him with a punch, only for Villamax to pick up the lid of a trashcan and used it as a shield, which not only blocked the punch but also caused the thug excruciating pain before a chop to the thug's neck knocked them to the ground.
The second thug tried to rush him, but Villamax casually stuck his leg out and tripped the man, sending him tumbling into a trashcan while the third thug got a backfist to the face. "Hardly worth my time. I hope that you can do better." Villamax said, unimpressed as he picked up his belt, then turned to face the leader of the thugs who had just pulled out a sword from his body. "Ah, so you have an emitter quirk, but I take it this one only allows you to create weapons." He surmised.
"You bet your ass it does hero! My quirk lets me create any weapon from my body! Pretty useful when I plan a bank robbery and I need a weapon." The leader said, twirling his sword and charged towards Villamax. Villamax countered with a quick draw of his sword, countering the attack from the thug before pushing up and knocking the weapon from his opponent's hand, followed by a swift punch to the face.
"Perhaps this will teach you to think twice about going after children." Villamax said, sheathing his sword before he turned to Shinso, who couldn't take his eyes off the skirmish. "Well then, young man. I hope you aren't hurt."
"I'm fine." Shinso answered, getting back to his feet. "You're not a hero, are you?"
"I am far from being a hero." Villamax answered. "But you on the other hand, Hitoshi Shinso, have the desire to become a hero."
"How do you know my name?" Shinso asked.
"I know your name because I spoke with your school's principle." Villamax answered. "I also know that your quirk is brainwashing. The moment your target speaks to you, you can force them to do anything you say. The quirk of a villain."
"Oh great, you're one of those guys who thinks I'm a villain?" Shinso groaned.
"Actually, quite the opposite." Villamax assured him. "Your quirk, while often associated with villains, can be used for far more heroic deeds. For instance, you can brainwash highly dangerous villains into surrendering without a fight or even talk someone out of suicide. The heroic applications of your quirk are endless, but you doubt yourself for not being blessed with a 'heroic' quirk."
"I never thought about it that way, but it doesn't change the fact that I can only use my quirk if my target talks to me." Shinso pointed out.
"Then perhaps, there are other ways you can be a hero. Relying solely on your quirk will only get you so far, but perhaps with the right training you can become an even greater hero." Villamax countered, then held out his hand to Shinso. "Let me train you and I guarantee you, that when the sports festival comes, you will impress all the pro's looking at all potential students."
Shinso thought for a moment before he asked a question. "Why would you help me? It's clear there are other potential heroes that you could train, so why come to me?" he asked.
"It is because I am seeking redemption." Villamax answered. "Have you heard of Trakenna? I trained her so that she could become a powerful warrior, but my loyalty to her blinded me to the truth. Even after she combined with Deviot when they both entered the cocoon, she became more of a monster and prepared to do anything to destroy the Galaxy Rangers, even sacrificing her own soldiers and attacking innocent people." He clenched his fist at the memory of that day and the flower that was crushed by her. "I made her the warrior she became, and I wish to do better, by helping you prove that you are not a villain, just because of your quirk."
Shinso had to admit, Villamax's reasoning did make sense, he was trying to find atonement for what he did in the past, much like how he wanted to prove that he could be a hero. "Well, when you put it like that, I can't say no." he said with a smirk. "Alright, train me."
"You won't regret this." Villamax said, shaking Shinso's hand. "However, I believe our first lesson will have to wait. I believe we are surrounded." He finished, drawing his sword as multiple creatures moved in the shadows. "Young here, I will buy you the time you need to escape. I will hold them off."
"Not a chance, teach." Shinso said, dropping his bag and held up his fists. "If there's one thing I've learned from UA, it's never let someone fight alone."
"You are shaping up to be an exceptional student." Villamax said as appearing from the shadows were Ooze men, all who were ready for a fight.
Downtown Tokyo
3:50 PM
Standing on top of a nearby building, Ivan looked at the city. "Well, gotta admit, the Japanese sure have come a long way. Too bad there aren't any samurais around these days, I would have loved to clash swords with them. Now, let's see how these new rangers are compared to the ones I know. Let's bring down the lighting!" he cackled and raised his hands, shooting lightning towards one of the buildings which exploded, engulfing it in flames.
Rescue personnel and Pro Heroes were quick to rush to the scene of the disaster, but the fire had spread out to other buildings, trapping many bystanders in the buildings. "Grab hoses five and six!" a fireman shouted as ladders were raised to maximum elevation with fireman starting to spray water on the buildings.
Several Pro Heroes were already working on the smaller fires, but the biggest fire was too much for them to handle. Ivan watched the unfolding scene and smiled. "Ah, I love the smell of chaos first thing in the morning. It smells like the food court." He said with smile before he took a whiff of the air. "What is that odious stench? It smells like… teenagers." He said grimly, then took another whiff. "And a particularly familiar stench. Zordon's White Ranger!" he said with a snarl.
Rushing down the tracks, the Rail Rescues screeched to a halt before opening up and deploying Pyro One, Aqua Two and Aero Three. "Anthony, take care of the smaller fires. Lena, Melissa, TJ, and I will douse that building with water. Once we make an entrance, get inside, and get everyone out!" Connor ordered.
"Got it!" the other rangers acknowledged, with Lena and Melissa inside Pyro One as they either drove or flew towards the disaster areas. Aero Rescue Three flew at top speed before it hovered over the small fires which were ablaze around several small stores, dosing them with water from his tank.
Rolling to a stop, Pyro One and Aqua Two opened up with their water cannons, spraying the apartment complex with water. Lena and Melissa were quick to leap out of the Rescue Zord and entered the complex through the doused entrance with several firemen and pro heroes, moving through the floors and rescuing anyone they found.
Fire axe in hand, a fireman broke down a door and escorted a family out of the building as Lena ran out with a pair of children in her arms. Melissa carried an elderly woman on her back out of the building, handing them off to the paramedics as the fire slowly started to die down. "Connor, how's it looking?" she asked her brother through the comms.
"Fire's looking under control. TJ can handle the rest of this. I'll go check out the underground shopping mall." Connor answered, grabbing his blaster grip and exited his zord, running into the underground mall. Firemen were escorting the civilians out of the mall as Connor rushed past them, looking for anyone who was still trapped.
He did find someone trapped, a blind man who's guide dog was barking as loud as they could to get someone's attention, pinned underneath a fallen ceiling tile that had come loose. "I hear you girl. Don't worry, I'll get you both out." He said to the dog, lifting the tile off the man while the dog stayed and waited until her owner was free. "No one's dying on my watch today." He said confidently.
The underground mall shook as an explosion from one of the stores echoed around, telling Connor that he didn't have much time left. Helping the man to his feet, he grabbed the leash of the dog and ran back to the entrance as more fireman stormed into the mall. A paramedic was waiting at the entrance of the mall when Connor emerged from the scene. "Here's the last one." He said, handing the man to the paramedic before he powered down. "That's everyone."
"We'll take it from here. Thanks, red ranger." One of the firemen told Connor as his team joined him. "Nice work, by the way."
"Just doing my duty." Connor said, breathing a sigh of relief as the fire was soon brought under control. "Doc, the fire's out and everyone's ok. No fatalities, so that's a good thing." He said into his morpher.
"Excellent work, Rangers. But your job isn't over yet. I picked up a strange energy reading several kilometers from your position. The Space Rangers and Jason are already checking it out, but they could use your help." Mondo said over the communicator.
"Got it, doc." Connor acknowledged the doctor, climbing into the Rescue Rover with Melissa in the driver's seat. "Hey, do you think we'll get extra credit for all this work we're doing?" he joked to the other rangers, who groaned at his joke. "What?"
It didn't take long for the Lightspeed Rangers to meet up with Jason, Chris and the other rangers at the source location, a construction site for the new extension of the Ginza line of the Tokyo Metro. "Looks you guys were busy." Chris noted as the Lightspeed Rangers piled out of the Rescue Rover.
"At least we're not covered in blood and smell like gunpowder." TJ joked before he spotted his cousin. "So, what do we got?"
"No clue. The energy readings aren't like anything we've seen before." Selwyn answered. "Might be a glitch in the tracker, but these reading are high and definitely demonic in origin."
Juni then took a whiff of the air and covered his nose. "Ugh! What's that stench?!"
"I bet it's Rito." Connor surmised. "Question is, where's the bag of bones hiding?"
Suddenly a pillar of slime emerged from the ground below and formed into Ivan Ooze as he stood in front of the twelve rangers. "Don't bother looking for that bone head. I'm right here." He said with a dark chuckle while Melissa, Lena, Yang, and Stacey gagged in disgust.
"Ew! Gross!" Lena exclaimed.
"You're too kind, dear." Ivan thanked. "Allow me to introduce myself. In my universe, I was the galactically feared, globally reviled, universally despised… They call me Ivan Ooze."
"Wait, another universe?" Connor said, taken aback but still held his hands up ready for a battle.
"Well, pack your bags cause we're sending you back to where you came from!" Chris proclaimed.
"Jeez! A teenager with a big mouth? Even this universe, not much has changed." Ivan groaned.
"Well, you obviously don't have any idea of who you're dealing with, Mr. Raisin head!" Stacey mocked.
"Really?" Ivan said with fake curiosity.
"Yeah! We're the Power Rangers!" Jason answered.
"Oh! Where's my autograph book!?" Ivan said sarcastically. "Ha! Power Rangers, huh! Even in this universe and in his death, Zordon still uses kids to do his dirty work?"
"Wait? How do you know about Zordon?" Jason questioned.
"Of course, I know that blasted wizard! That Zordon of Eltar in my universe sealed me away in that damned hyperlock chamber for six-thousand years!" Ivan answered, then pointed to Jason. "And your ancestor, what was his name? Ah yes! Tommy Oliver, the white ranger, and his team defeated me in space! Not to mention the fact their blasted megazord kicked me in damn crotch! Now I'm stuck in this universe!" Ivan added, annoyed by the snicker the rangers gave him.
"So, you joined up with Olympius in order to destroy us, right?!" TJ guessed.
"Got it in one sport! And now!" Ivan exclaimed, summoning his Ooze men. "From this day forward the world as you knew will cease to exist! Welcome to my nightmare!"
The Ooze men were quick to surround the twelve rangers as Ivan watched with interest. "Let's see if there's more to these teenagers than meets the eye." He mused to himself while the rangers looked to one another.
"Anybody know what time it is?" Connor asked.
"Oh, we know what time it is." Stacey answered with a grin.
"It's Morphin time!" Jason shouted, thrusting out the master morpher and morphed into the White Ranger.
"Let's rocket!" the Space Rangers shouted.
"Lightspeed Rescue!" The Lightspeed Rangers shouted and morphed as well.
"Attack!" Ivan shouted from behind as his Ooze Men charged towards the rangers who met the enemy head on.
(Start Fight)
Chris and Connor kicked a single Ooze man over one of the barriers, then punched a pair of them in the face, knocking them down the embankment. "Ugh, these guys are ugly! Glad they don't create a resin." Chris said, drawing his Astro Blaster and fired at a few of the slime creatures.
Connor dipped backwards to avoid a punch, then kicked another Ooze Man down the embankment, leapt into the air and landed a double front kick on a second Ooze man that sent them flying into a stone pillar, splattering into Ooze, some of which splashed on his helmet. "Ewe, now I know how Venkman felt!" he groaned, wiping the slime from his helmet before leaping down to the embankment where the other rangers were fighting.
Jason punched and kicked several Ooze Man away, then dodged a sledgehammer that one of the Ooze Man had picked up and was using as a club. "Hey! Watch where you're swinging that thing! That's not a toy!" he warned, but the Ooze Man ignored his warnings, only for the sledgehammer to be knocked out of its hands when Jason swung his sword Saba at the Ooze man, then flew through the air with a flying kick that sent the henchmen flying through the air and splatted on the window of the nearby crane. "At least they go down easy."
Melissa swung her baton at several Ooze men, cutting them down while Yang fired the Satellite stunner, stunning several henchmen before Stacey and Lena fired their blasters at the Ooze men, who splattered everywhere. "Ewe, gross. I think I'm going to need to take a long shower after this is over." Melissa groaned.
"At least they aren't made of acid!" Stacey said, kicking an Ooze man off their feet.
TJ and Selwyn backflipped through a group of Ooze Men, drew their blasters and then fired at the henchmen who popped like zits. "Glad they aren't made of puss. I think I'd be blowing chunks." TJ told his cousin.
"Reminds me of that time you hurled on that roller coaster when we were kids." Selwyn teased, holstering his blaster, and drawing his Astro Axe to cut down several Ooze Man with a slash across the chest.
Juni swung his lance around, lifting one of the Ooze Men into the air and over him, landing on a few of their comrades, who went splat while Anthony kicked a bucket at one of them. The Ooze Man caught the bucket but was distracted long enough for Anthony to kick into a pillar where they went splat. "Ew, these guys are nasty."
"That's an understatement." Juni said in agreement.
Kane swung the Silverizer down the middle of an Ooze Man, which went pop, then switched his weapon into blaster mode as he backflipped, then leapt on top of a dump truck and fired down at several more Ooze Man who went pop. He then leapt down from the dump truck and charged straight towards Ivan who was standing casually while his henchmen kept on fighting the rangers. "Take this you purple freak!" he shouted, swinging his weapon at Ivan and slashed him across the chest.

"Oh! You got me!" Ivan exclaimed as he staggered backwards a bit. "Just kidding." He said, blasting Kane with lightning that hit the Silver Ranger in the chest and knocked him to the ground.
"Kane!" Chris shouted as the other rangers rushed to their allies' side, having dispatched the Ooze Men.
"Well, that was an interesting display of your skills, kiddies." Ivan mocked. "But why don't I show you what I'm capable of!" A piper's flute appeared in his hands, which Ivan promptly played a few notes on, then blasted the rangers with lighting, save for Connor and Melissa who rolled out of the way. "Well, looks like you two are stronger than your friends. What? Are you two a couple martial arts champions or something?"
"Why don't we show you?" Melissa challenged, her fists raised and ready for battle.
"Tempting, but no!" Ivan exclaimed, shooting more lighting, this time directed at Melissa, only for Connor to step in take the blow, knocking him to the ground. "And they say chivalry is dead. Looks like I've got myself a pair of lovers." He said with disgust.
"I'm her brother!" Connor shouted, groaning as he picked himself off the ground and glared at Ivan.
"Oh! A pair of siblings! That's even more annoying." Ivan said, sticking his tongue out at the rangers as more Ooze Man joined up beside him. "I'd be better off dealing with soldiers."
As if Ivan knew it, several SUV's belonging to the Silver Guardians rolled into the construction site, with said soldiers pilling out of the SUV's armed with blasters, all of which were pointed at Ivan and his men. Leading the men, was the same Commander from the USJ aftermath, along with his second in command, an Asian-American man with red eyes, black hair, also wearing the same uniform as the rest of the Silver Guardians. "Attention Villain! You are under arrest! I order you to place your hands on your head and get on your knees!" The commander shouted.
"No thanks, sonny boy. I got what I needed, so I'll be leaving now. Todo-lo!" Ivan mocked, vanishing from sight while the Ooze Man were cut down by blaster fire. A price that Ivan was willing to pay.
"Cease fire!" the commander shouted, the roar of gunfire dying down as the last Ooze Man popped. "Fan out and search for anymore villains." The commander ordered as the silver guardians fanned out and searched the construction site, leaving the commander and his second in command alone with the rangers. "You mind telling me who the hell was that?"
"Says his name is Ivan Ooze and he's from another universe." Connor answered, powering down with the rest of the rangers. "Guys a megalomaniac and I've got a feeling that we'll be seeing him again."
"Glad you kids are alright. I'd hate to be the one to tell UA that five of their students were killed." The Asian man said, then turned to Lena. "Well, well. I didn't think you were the yellow ranger, Lena. Small world, don't you think?" he chuckled.
"I'm not the same girl who used to follow you when we were children." Lena pouted.
"Wait, you two know each other?" Kane asked.
"Unfortunately, yes. This is Eric Myers, my cousin." Lena answered.
"Cousin!?" The rangers all shouted.
Skull Cavern
Ivan reappeared in the throne room of the Skull Cavern where he was met by his allies. "Hi honey, I'm home." He called.
"Looks like someone failed to destroy the rangers! I guess you're not as powerful as you claim to be!" Deviot chastised.
"Your feebleness is staggering." Ivan told the robotic villain. "I wasn't trying to destroy the rangers but gauge their abilities. Tis better to know one's enemy and come up with a plan, then underestimate your enemy and get overconfident." The purple man than put a finger to his chin. "Or was 'Knowing the enemy enables you to take the offensive, knowing yourself enables you to stand on the defensive'?"
"Eh, what are you talking about?" Elgar asked, rubbing his head.
"It's by Sun Tzu." Ivan answered, then turned to Olympius. "I don't know about you, but I've got a few ideas for a couple of plans to deal with those power brats. That is, unless you have a couple of plans of your own, my liege." He added with a bow.
"We are already working on extracting quirks from various humans that would be useful to our monsters, but I will indulge you, Ivan. What is your plan?" Olympius asked, curious.
"Oh, one of the plans I've got is a real scorcher!" Ivan smirked. "And I've got an idea for someone who could be a potential ally." He added.
And done.
First off, it gives me great pain to say that Country Music singer and my all-time favorite Country Music singer, Toby Kieth has passed away due to stomach cancer. I love listening to his songs and always wanted to meet him, in fact, my mom said she went to one of his concerts before I was born or when I was barely a year old. I wish I could have met him, but I did see one of the movies he was in, I believe it was Beer for My Horses. He was sixty-two.
Second, Ivan Ooze, from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the Movie has appeared. I wasn't planning on including him, but I did, special thanks to DCDGojira. If you have any script ideas for the Super Train Megazord, I'd love to hear them. I already have the ideal movie to incorporate into the story for that arc, well several disaster movies that deal with Volcanos.
Third, Shinso has been scouted by Villamax, who wishes to train him for the sports festival, as a way of seeking atonement for his time as a follower of Trakenna. He will not be the only former villain seeking atonement, a certain lone wolf will also be looking for atonement.
And it seems that Lena has a cousin who is in the Silver Guardians. And his last name is Myers, could he be the new Quantum Ranger? Well, you'll have to wait for the next chapter which will reveal more about the two big shots in the Silver Guardians.
