The den buzzed with the usual pre-festival excitement. Preparations for the summer festival were well underway, with everyone chipping in to ensure it would be a celebration to remember. Ayame, Yumi, and a few other women had gathered in a secluded corner of the den, their voices low and filled with mischief.

"We all know Kagome and Kouga are getting closer," Ayame began, a sly smile playing on her lips. "But they need a little push to realize what we all see."

Yumi nodded in agreement. "Exactly. And I have just the idea." She pulled out a bundle of soft, revealing furs from behind her back. "We need to get Kagome into these. Kouga won't be able to resist."

The other women giggled, excitement bubbling among them. "But how do we convince her to wear them?" one of the older women asked.

Ayame thought for a moment, then her eyes lit up with a plan. "We'll tell her it's part of a special tradition for the festival. That the guest of honor wears these furs to symbolize their place in the tribe."

Another woman chimed in, "And we can say that it will make her part of the family. She'll want to honor that tradition."

"Perfect," Yumi agreed. "We'll approach her a day or two before the festival, when she's already feeling more at home with us."

They spent a few more moments refining their plan, making sure it was foolproof. Ayame glanced around to make sure they weren't being overheard, then continued, "Remember, we need to be subtle. We can't let her suspect anything."

Meanwhile, Kagome was blissfully unaware of the women's plotting. She was busy helping with the children hang their flower crowns for the festival up so they didnt get ruined. Her laughter filled the air, a sound that made Kouga's heart swell every time he heard it.

From across the den, Kouga watched her with a mixture of admiration and longing. He loved seeing how well Kagome had integrated into the tribe, how naturally she had taken to her new role. His mind wandered to thoughts of their future together, imagining what it would be like to have her by his side always.

Ayame noticed the look on Kouga's face and nudged Yumi. "See? He's already halfway there. We just need to seal the deal."

Yumi grinned. "Let's get to work, ladies. By the time the festival arrives, Kagome and Kouga will be inseparable."

As they continued to plot, the den remained filled with the usual hustle and bustle of festival preparations. The plan was set in motion, and the women were confident it would work. Little did Kagome know, the next few days would bring more than just the excitement of the festival – it would bring a turning point in her relationship with Kouga, one that the entire tribe eagerly anticipated.
