IV: Air Support

Blaze and Marine would arrive at the shore of the Southern Aquila Republic in a matter of minutes. However, as they docked they noticed the S.S. Super-Marine had made it to shore after all.

The raccoon made her way to the water bike inspecting it for damage. "That lion tampered with my vessel!"

"He must have experience with electrical wiring." The princess observed her surroundings trying to find any trace of Marshall. "No visible traces. We'll have to speak with Pung Balam about the Chimera Legion."

Marine turned to her friend looking concerned. "The Princess of this land?"

"You never met her?"

"Any support the Coconut Crew provides her is through her subordinates. I've never met her in person."

"Well, allow me to do most of the talking."

The feline and raccoon would make their way to the ministry where the princess resides. Marine was rather perplexed given her residence was more contemporary as opposed to the Sol Empire's historical architecture.

Blaze approached the front entrance and was granted access without question.

Marine followed behind her only to be cut off by the security. "Oh, don't worry. I'm with her." She attempts to go through only to be stopped again.

The guard spoke to her. *"Outsiders are not welcome."

The raccoon was confused. "I'm sorry. I don't speak your language."

Blaze made her way to the central office where Pung Balam was attending to her work. She kneels down lowering her head. "Your majesty."

Balam looks up from her work as she steps out approaching the feline. "You may rise, Blaze."

The feline arose as she looks at her. "I have come in search of a foreign lion and his two allies."

"Are they a threat?"

"I am afraid so. They seek to bring the downfall of all three kingdoms, the Sol Empire being their first target."

The magpie then questioned the identity of one member in particular. "Is one of them a reptile missing an eye and two appendages?"

"Yes."

"Dr. Rancor aided your father in chemical warfare. It is likely they will be looking for one of the Aquila Republic's laboratories."

"Where is the nearest location?"

Before Balam could provide an answer, she noticed her silent alarm had been set off. "An intruder?"

Marine burst through the door of the office struggling against the guards. "Let me go! This isn't an emergency!"

Blaze approaches the guards. "At ease. She's my ally."

The raccoon looks up as the guards release her. "Thank you!"

"What's the emergency, Marine?"

"That is!" She points out the window.

Balam turns back at her office window seeing the cloud of smoke. "We have their location."

Beneath the smoke and debris, Jilt and Rancor had managed to infiltrate one of the Republic's laboratories. Almost immediately the snake began to work on a formula.

The mysterious man approaches Jilt.

The goat looks at him rather annoyed. "What?"

"What is your end goal?"

"You already know our goal."

"I asked your goal,…Jiyuu."

Jilt grabs him by the throat. "Do NOT…call me that." She let him go as she awaited Rancor's results.

The mystery man would turn away from the goat. "This will not end well for any of us."
