Rain pours heavily on the island of Isla Nublar as the tropical storm finally makes landfall. The winds blew fiercely with speeds up to 50 mph, making trees sway wildly, and the huge ocean waves crash against the island's storm barriers.

At the Visitor's Center, in the Control Room, Dennis Nedry stared at his computer that showed the video feed of the East Dock. The boat was still docked on the island pier, being buffeted by the heavy waves. A dockworker, on video, argued with the computer programmer about the storm through a telephone box.

"There's nothing I can do! The captain says we gotta go, we gotta go!" The Dockworker says turning right to face the camera above him with his right-hand extended

"No, no, no, no, listen, you gotta give me the time. I did a test run on this thing, it took me 20 minutes. I thought maybe I could push it to 18, but you gotta give me at least 15 minutes, give me the 15 minutes." Nedry says

"No promises!" The Dockworker says

After saying that, the dockworker hangs up the call, closes the telephone box, and pulls the hood of his black rain poncho over his head, hastily moving down to the left out of the camera's field of view. Nedry stares at the computer nervously. He was running out of time. If he was gonna pull off this heist, it was now or never. Nedry looks over at John Hammond, Ray Arnold, and Robert Muldoon across the room on his left and took a deep breath. It was time to put his plan into action.

On his side of the Control Room, Hammond idly stares at the mosquito inside the egg-shaped amber attached to his cane, slowly spinning it clockwise with his left-hand, while Arnold works on his computer, making adjustments for the tour program.

"All right. I've re-routed the tour program. The visitor vehicles are turning around on the rest area loop and returning to the garage." Arnold says

"So much for our first tour. Two no-shows and one sick Triceratops." Hammond says with a sigh

"It could've been worse, John. A lot worse." Arnold says

"Anybody want a soda or something?" Nedry asks

Arnold spins his chair to the left as he, Hammond, and Muldoon turned to face Nedry, who was now standing up, trying desperately to look casual and unassuming.

"'Cause I'm-I'm going up to the machine. I thought, you know, maybe I-I'd get somebody something. I've had only sweets, and I think I'm gonna get something salty. I thought maybe somebody would, uh... Oh, uh, I finished debugging the phones. Uh, you know, I was gonna debu- so I did. You told me to, uh, so I debugged the phones. And I thought maybe, uh- Oh, I should tell you that the system is gonna be, uh, compiling..." Nedry says

The computer programmer looks down at his silver digital watch on his left-wrist for a moment before continuing.

"...for, uh, 18 to 20 minutes. So, some of the monitor systems might go on or off for a while, but it's nothing to worry about, it's just a simple thing." Nedry says shrugging his shoulders

After saying that, Nedry turns back to his computer and grabs the mouse with his right-hand. He moves the black cursor to the red EXECUTE? button on-screen and clicks on it. Dozens of windows clear away from the computer screen until there is only the desktop image of a pretty blonde woman wearing a zebra bikini, laying against a zebra print background in a seductive pose with her right-hand behind her head, and her legs bent to the left. Then, a small window with a one-minute timer appears on-screen. Nedry sets the same timer on his watch and simultaneously starts the timer on the computer with his right pinkie finger, then grabs his Barbasol can and leaves the room to commence with the heist.

Out in the park, night has fallen completely, and the Ford Explorers were now slowly driving through the jungle roads on their preset course to the Visitor's Center. In the rear car, Alan Grant sat in the driver's seat, staring out the window, while Ian Malcolm sat in the passenger seat next to him. The Keyblade Wielder, Devon, sat in the backseat with his back against the door and his legs, one over the other, kicked up across the leather seats. He, too, stares out at the jungle as it passes him by.

"You got any kids?" Alan asks glancing over at Ian on his right

"Me? Oh, oh, hell yeah, three. I love kids." Ian says

Ian takes out his silver flask from his jacket pocket, unscrews the top, and takes a swig of his drink.

"Anything at all can and does happen. Same with wives, for that matter." Ian says

"You married?" Alan asks

"Occasionally. Uh. yeah- I'm-I'm always on the lookout for a future ex-Mrs. Malcolm." Ian says

Alan turns and stares at Ian, who chuckles slightly.

Returning to the Visitor's Center, Dennis Nedry was now in the hallway, standing near the decontamination airlock of the Genetics Lab. He hides to the left of the door away from the security camera inside the lab as it slowly pans from left to right towards him, and carefully looks down at his watch, waiting for his backdoor computer virus to kick in.

"Five... Four... Three... Two... One..." Nedry counts

And right on cue, the security camera shuts down and the decontamination airlock is unlocked. Nedry slides the door to the airlock open to the right and enters the lab.

In the Control Room, Arnold was about to light another cigarette with his silver lighter when he heard a beeping noise from his computer. He turns his head to the computer screen on his right, which displayed a map layout of the Control Room, the Genetics Lab, and the Showcase Theater, and notices something strange happening with the security system. Doors were being unlocked one by one, each labeled in red with a single beep going off every second. Red boxes labeled 'LOCK FAILURE' flash in and out on all four sides of the layout map.

"That's odd." Arnold says

"What?" Hammond asks

"Door security systems are shutting down." Arnold says pointing back to the computer screen with his right thumb

"Well, Nedry did say a few systems would go offline, didn't he?" Hammond says

And so, the three men shrug off the warning and Arnold goes back to lighting his cigarette.

Having breached through the security system, Nedry makes his way over to the Cold Storage Room, where the dinosaur embryos were stored, and slides the door open to the right. He enters the room and slowly lifts open the two cryogenic cylinders. Cold nitrogen vapor pours out from the bottom of the freezers, and their blue light illuminates the room. All around the cylinders were columns of storage compartments, each with six slots containing a single yellow-green vial of embryo for the 15 species of dinosaur: Brachiosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Proceratosaurus, Gallimimus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Velociraptor, Stegosaurus, Metricanthosaurus, Triceratops, Baryonyx, Compsognathus, Herrerasaurus, Troodon, Pteranodon, and Segisaurus.

Nedry hurries and takes out his Barbasol can, pulling it out from within the left-side of his jacket with his right-hand. He screws off the cover, revealing the can's storage compartment, and places it down on a metal table behind him, then goes to work on collecting the dinosaur embryos. The computer programmer goes around the first cylinder, taking one vial for each species from the third row, then moves onto the second cylinder to steal the rest. Once he was finished collecting all the embryos, Nedry closes the two freezers, exits the room and closes the door. He then locks the embryos into the storage compartment of the Barbasol can before screwing the can's cover back on.

Back in the cars, the interactive screen for the tour program in the middle of the front console suddenly shuts off from a loss of power, though hardly anyone notices. Alan and Ian continue their conversation.

"By the way, Dr. Sattler, um, she's not, like, available, is she?" Ian asks

"Why?" Alan asks

"Yeah, I'm sorry. You two are-" Ian says

"Yeah." Alan says glancing at Ian on his right

Suddenly, the tour vehicles slowly grind to a halt with the audible sounds of metallic squeaking. Alan lifts his hands away from the steering column, assuming the power loss was his fault.

"Hey, what'd I touch?" Alan asks looking down at his hands

"Uh, you didn't touch anything. We stopped." Ian says calmly though alarmed

"What's going on?" Devon asks leaning forward from the backseat between Alan and Ian's seats

In the Control Room, the situation becomes even more troublesome as alarms sound off. Muldoon stares up aghast at the central projection screen, then quickly turns left toward Arnold's computer as they now showed the layout of the electric fences in the park. One by one, each section of the park flashed red and yellow three times with a small red box and white letters appearing inside them saying: 'UNARMED' as the fences shut down, beginning with the Reserve Paddock, then the Raptor Paddock, where the Velociraptors were originally kept, followed by the Brachiosaur Paddock, the Dilophosaurus Paddock, the Triceratops Paddock, the T-Rex Paddock, and the Gallimimus Paddock. Then, the perimeter fence surrounding the entire park shuts down with the red labels reading: 'FENCE FAILURE!' appearing on all four sides of the computer screen.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. What the hell? What the hell? What the hell?" Arnold says

"What now?" Hammond asks

"Fences are failing all over the park." Arnold says

"Find Nedry! Check the vending machines!" Hammond says looking over at Muldoon

But Dennis Nedry was already gone. He had left the Visitor's Center, stealing a Jeep Wrangler designated Jeep 12, which had a tan soft top and four rectangular floodlights on the car's roof, similar to those on the Ford Explorers, to help see in the dark night. Nedry drives up to the Jurassic Park main gate and stops right infront of it. He gets out, wearing a yellow raincoat to keep himself dry from the pouring rain, runs over to the gate, and opens a panel box on the right-side, containing a red lever for the manual override. He pulls the lever down with his right-hand to the 'UNLOCK' position, then runs back to his car, pulling the hood of his raincoat over his head, though it quickly falls back down. Nedry struggles with the car door for a moment, but manages to get it open and climbs into the driver seat. He shifts the car into gear and drives forward into the gate, shoving the wooden double doors wide open, then heads straight into the park, beginning his journey to the East Dock.

Back at the Control Room, Hammond, Muldoon, and Arnold walk over to Nedry's computers to try and fix the security system themselves. Arnold sits down to get himself adjusted, then looks over at the garbage left over by the computer programmer in distaste.

"Look at this workstation!" Arnold groans

With one stroke of his left-arm, the chief engineer sweeps aside all the loose garbage off Nedry's table: junk food, soda cans, and torn out magazine pages.

"What a complete slob!" Arnold says

"The raptor fences aren't out, are they?" Muldoon asks stepping forward and placing his hands down on the table in concern

Arnold spins his chair over to the third computer on Nedry's table and types in a couple of keystrokes on the keyboard, checking the status of the Raptor Pen. After a few seconds, the information comes through with two beeps from the computer.

"No, no, they're still on." Arnold says glancing back over his right-shoulder

Hammond turns to Muldoon on his left with a questioning look on his face.

"Why the hell would he turn the other ones off?" Hammond asks

Out in the park, Nedry walks up to an enclosed gateway with signs that read:

DANGER!
ELECTRIFIED FENCE!

This gate cannot be opened
when fence is armed!

The computer programmer pushes away the two cross bars blocking the gate, and pushes the gate itself wide open, then gets back into his car to continue the drive, tearing off down the park's access route. The rain continued to pour down heavily, rapidly turning the dirt roads to mud.

In his Jeep, Nedry could barely see out his windshield. The heavy rain and the darkness of the night made it very difficult to see the road. Nevertheless, he was determined to make it to the dock in time and earn his pay. He drives down the road as fast as possible, checking the time on his watch every now and then. Suddenly, a fork in the road rushes into view. Nedry's eyes widened and slams his foot on the brakes, but it was too late. His Jeep careens across the slick, muddy road, and slams into a signpost for the East Dock, knocking it down off its base. The computer programmer gets out and picks up the sign with his left-hand. It was mostly intact, except for the loose black arrow in the center hexagon. With his other hand, he spins the arrow to the left, then the right. Confused and disoriented, Nedry spins the sign angrily.

Returning to the Control Room, Arnold attempted to gain access to Jurassic Park's security systems through an interface on Nedry's computer with Hammond hovers over his right-shoulder. On screen was a blue window labeled: Central Park Control Console, and in this window was a computer interface:

Jurassic Park, System Security Interface
Version 4.0.5, Alpha E
Ready...

With his hands at the keyboard, Arnold types in some command codes.

"Access main program." Arnold says

- access security
access: PERMISSION DENIED

"Access main security." Arnold says

- access security grid
access: PERMISSION DENIED

"Access main program grid." Arnold says

- access main security grid
access: PERMISSION DENIED...and...
YOU DIDN'T SAY THE MAGIC WORD!

The last message repeats, scrolling down on an endless loop, flooding the entire window. Then, an animated .gif of Dennis Nedry, wearing a white jumpsuit and pants with a gold belt buckle, a red stripe along the right-side of his clothes, and white shoes appears on the first computer on Arnold's left, wagging his left index finger disapprovingly and admonishing Arnold's attempts.

"Ah, ah, ah. You didn't say the magic word. Ah, ah, ah. Ah, ah, ah." The Nedry .gif taunts

The Chief Engineer wheels his chair over to this computer and slams his hands down on the table in frustration.

"Please! Goddamn it! Hate this hacker crap!" Arnold yells lividly

"Call Nedry's people in Cambridge." Hammond says sliding a white telephone over to Arnold on his left

Arnold picks up the phone and starts to dial some numbers, but stops when he hears no dial tone.

"Phones are out too." Arnold says

As they stood together in the Control Room, a horrible thought entered John Hammond's mind. If Nedry's virus had disabled the park's security system, then the tour program may have also been affected. That means his grandchildren and his guests were trapped out in the park with the dinosaurs. Hammond turns to Muldoon on his left and asks him only one question.

"Where did the vehicles stop?" Hammond asks

The two Ford Explorer Tour Vehicles had stopped right alongside the Tyrannosaur Paddock, sitting out in the middle of the road. The goat from earlier stood completely exposed to the rain, still chained to its metal stake inside the enclosure. Alan checked on Gennaro, Lex and Tim, standing at the driver side of the first car, then closes the door and quickly runs back to the second car, where Devon and Ian waited for him. The Paleontologist gets back into the car and shuts the door.

"So? Any luck?" Devon asks

"Their radio's out too. Gennaro said to stay put." Alan says

"Kids okay?" Ian asks

"I didn't ask. Why wouldn't they be?" Alan says

"Kids get scared." Ian says

"What's to be scared about? It's just a little hiccup in the power." Alan says

"I didn't say I was scared." Ian says

"I didn't say you were." Alan says

"I know." Ian says

Over in the lead car, Gennaro and Lex wait, bored. Suddenly, Tim pops up from the front passenger seat, wearing a pair of military-grade goggles that shared almost the same dinosaur-like design as the tour vehicles. The binocular-shaped goggles were yellow in color, and the bands that wrapped around the sides of the head had green and brown camouflage design. Black cushioned straps secured the goggles to the head with one going over the top of the skull and another wrapping around the back.

"Boo!" Tim says

Lex jumps and gasps, startled by her brother.

"Hey. Where did you find those?" Gennaro asks glancing at Tim on his right

"In a box under my seat." Tim says

"Are they heavy?" Gennaro asks

"Yeah." Tim says

"Then they're expensive. Put 'em back." Gennaro says

After saying that, the lawyer leans back and closes his eyes. Tim ignores him and puts the goggles on, then climbs over into the back seat. Lex takes off her baseball cap and gently hits her brother with it as he passes her by.

"Don't scare me." Lex says

Climbing into the cargo area of the car, Tim activates the goggles with the press of the switch on the left-side. A red power light turns on in-between near the forehead of the goggles, and four green lights appear around the goggles' circular lens, spinning clockwise with a whirring sound. Through the goggles, the surrounding environment was illuminated in a bright fluorescent green. Gazing out the rear window of their vehicle, Tim zooms in on the rear car, where he could clearly see Devon, Alan, and Ian inside.

"Oh, cool! Night vision!" Tim says

Alan's left-hand sticking out from the top of the partially open driver-side door for a minute, catching rainwater with his black canteen, then pulls it back in, shutting the door. He takes a small drink, then offers it to Ian, who gladly takes the canteen with his right-hand.

Minutes pass. It seemed as though everyone was in for a long night. Gennaro leans back in his seat with his eyes closed, taking a brief nap. Lex fans herself with her cap. And Tim continues to stare out the trunk window with his goggles, his legs swinging back and forth. But then, his legs stop. He felt and heard something in the ground, a distant rhythmic thumping which immediately drew his attention. Pulling off his goggles, Tim turns back on his right, climbs into the back seat, and reaches out for Lex' hat with his left-hand to still her hand.

"Do you feel that?" Tim asks

Lex doesn't respond. Tim climbs up to the front of the car with half of his body over the passenger seat. Now his attention was directed to the two plastic cups of water that sat in the recessed space on the dashboard, and he saw something happening with them. Another thump is felt and heard, and the water vibrates, creating concentric ripples along its surface. It stops for few seconds, then vibrates again with another thump, then another, and another rhythmically. It sounded like... footsteps. Gennaro slowly awakens from his nap, also feeling the vibrations in the earth. His eyes glance up at the rear-view mirror, and he could see it on the reflective glass as two thumps rumbled in the ground.

"Maybe it's the power trying to come back on." Gennaro says

"What is that?" Lex asks

Tim climbs back into the trunk of the car and puts on his night vision goggles to have a look outside. The young boy gazes out through the side window and his goggles zoom in on the flat area of the Tyrannosaur Paddock. And almost immediately, he notices something. The goat was missing. Something had taken it. The metal stake was still there, though slightly bent to the left, and its chain swung around from side-to-side from recent activity. Lex and Gennaro noticed the animal's disappearance as well as they stared with shocked, widened eyes.

"Where's the goat?" Lex asks looking over at her brother

Suddenly, something falls onto the top of the Ford Explorer, hitting the plexiglass sunroof with a loud thud. It was a bloody, dismembered goat's leg. Lex gasps and immediately backs away. Lifting off his goggles, Tim stares up at the paddock fence with a surprised look on his face, his mouth hanging open. A huge two-fingered claw grips the cable of the deactivated fence on top of the danger sign, then drops down, causing the sign bounce up and down. And then they saw it...

The Tyrannosaurus Rex, Jurassic Park's star attraction, 18 feet tall in height, as large as a two-story building, 44 feet in length from nose to tail, as long as a modern-day bus, and 14,000 pounds in weight, similar to the weight of three full-grown white Rhinoceros, with dull gray and brown scaly skin. The large carnivore emits a deep growl similar to that of a crocodile with the rest of the goat inside its mouth. Tilting its head backwards, the huge dinosaur swallows the dead farm animal in one big gulp, then turns its attention to the tour vehicles on its right, gazing down at the group with its yellow-orange eyes.

"Oh, Jesus!" Gennaro exclaims

Gennaro panics at the sight of the Tyrannosaur and throws the car door open, running out into the rain.

"He left us... He left us..." Lex whispers in shock

The lawyer races past the rear car and runs fast as he could to a small, thatch, unisex restroom, which was thirty yards away from the paddock. Gennaro runs inside and slams the thatch door shut, then backs away into the open center stall, one of three in the building, stumbling onto the closed toilet and exclaiming in fear.

"Where does he think he's going?" Alan asks

"When you gotta go, you gotta go." Ian says

"So much for staying put." Devon says

Suddenly, a straining sound from the paddock fence forces Devon, Alan, and Ian to look back the other way, out the passenger side of the car. The cables of the fence snap free, ripping out from their posts. Then, the fence itself began to slowly buckle and collapse, descending toward the cars with a loud, creaking sound. Fortunately, they stop at a slight outward angle. Tim and Lex stare up at the fence in horror, then they glance back at the rear car.

"Devon? Dr. Grant?" Lex says

The T-Rex chews its way through the cables of the paddock fence, then takes three large steps out of its enclosure and into the middle of the park road between the two Ford Explorers, letting out a loud, triumphant roar of freedom.

"Boy, do I hate being right all the time." Ian says

Devon leans forward between Alan and Ian's seat, his arms behind the headrests of their seats. The Tyrannosaur lets out another roar, then takes four strides forward, exploring its new surroundings. Devon, Alan, and Ian watched as the dinosaur's robust body, muscular legs, and long, thick tail move past their front windshield.

"Keep absolutely still. Its vision is based on movement." Alan whispers calmly

"You sure?" Devon asks with his eyes glancing to the left at the Paleontologist

Alan paused for a moment before answering.

"Relatively." Alan whispers

The trio froze as the T-Rex came around to the passenger side of their car, remaining motionless as possible. Only their eyes moved, tracking the massive predator's movements as it circled the tour vehicle. Eventually, the dinosaur bends its head down and peers into the car, right through the passenger window. It's yellow-orange eye slightly smaller than the entire pane of glass.

Ahead in the front car, Lex rummages through the cargo area of the trunk, searching for anything that could be useful. She comes across a large black roadside emergency kit and lifts it open. Inside were three road flares, a small fire extinguisher, and a large black flashlight shaped like a TV camera.

Back at the rear car, the Tyrannosaur nudges the vehicle with her snout, causing it to rock slightly. Then, her attention was drawn ahead to the lead car as Lex switches on the flashlight, illuminating the interior of the first car and casting a beam of light out into the dark night, causing the dinosaur to raise her head in curiosity. Attracted by the light, the huge carnivore stomps toward the other vehicle.

"Turn the light off. Turn the light off." Alan says

"What are they doing?" Devon says in shock

Lex stares at the T-Rex in horror as it approaches their car.

"Turn the light off!" Tim says

The large dinosaur strides over to the driver's side of the Ford Explorer in less than five steps, its head hovering above the car. Tim reaches for the car door, carelessly left open by Gennaro, and pulls it shut. The Tyrannosaur immediately glances down at the vehicle, hearing the noise and detecting the movement. Both Tim and Lex are terrified, staring at the carnivore with fearful expressions. It sniffs the car a couple times, emitting a low, bellowing growl. The animal had an acute sense of smell, and she was picking up on a peculiar scent, coming from somewhere inside this strange object before it. The T-Rex bends down for a second, peering into the car with its left-eye, and the beam of Lex' flashlight shines into its eye, causing its black, round pupil to contract. Then, the Tyrannosaur rears her head back and unleashes a loud, deafening roar at the vehicle, forcing the kids to quickly cover their ears with their hands. Afterwards, the huge dinosaur bends its head down to the car again, and Tim and Lex move away to the other side of the vehicle. The T-Rex emits another growl, then nudges the Ford Explorer with its snout, lifting the car off its side and causing the two kids to scream. The vehicle drops back down as the carnivore lifts its head away, and Tim climbs over into the back seat, reaching for Lex' flashlight.

"Turn- Turn it off!" Tim says

"I'm sorry!" Lex says

The two kids argue for a bit, trying frantically to shut off the light, while the T-Rex observes them from above.

"Why did you do this?!" Tim asks

"I don't know!" Lex says

"Where's the button?!" Tim asks

"I don't know!" Lex says

"Well, you're the one who turned it..." Tim says

Diverting from their panicking, Tim and Lex look up and are horrified by what comes next. The Tyrannosaur's head crashes down on the car, smashing through the plexiglass sunroof and knocking the entire glass out of frame with its mouth wide open. The kids were now pinned to the seats on their backs by the glass as it fell on top of them, screaming in terror as the animal attacked, snapping her jaws at them. Fortunately, the plexiglass withstood the initial impact and was surprisingly still intact. It was also the only thing protecting Tim and Lex from the dinosaur's huge teeth, which was only inches away from them. The T-Rex raises its head out of the car and lunges down at the kids, attacking again.

Unable to reach its prey, the Tyrannosaur lifts its head out, bends down next to the vehicle and pushes against the driver's side using her head, tipping the car into the air. She pushes into the Ford Explorer again and the car flips over completely. Tim and Lex tumble around in the vehicle, being thrown from one side to the other as it rolls over on its side, landing upside-down its roof. In their car, Devon, Alan, and Ian leaned forward in horror as they watched the attack unfold before them.

"No!" Devon exclaims

Like a dog, the T-Rex puts her right-foot down onto the vehicle's chassis, then tears into the undercarriage with her powerful jaws. She rips out the car's rear axle, tosses it aside, then bites down into the driver side's rear tire, pulling on the black rubber from its yellow rim like a chew toy, while Lex and Tim remained trapped underneath the prehistoric animal, screaming in terror.

"Help!" Lex screams

In the rear car, Devon, Alan, and Ian could watch no longer. They had rescue Lex and Tim before the T-Rex could reach them, or worse, they get crushed to death in the car by the dinosaur's weight.

"We gotta do something!" Devon exclaims

"Right!" Alan says

Turning around to his left, the Keyblade Wielder goes to the cargo area of the car to search for anything useful. He quickly digs through dozens of the park's brochures with his hands, pushing them aside until he discovers the roadside emergency kit similar to the one that Lex found in the lead car. Pulling the case open, he finds the fire extinguisher, the flashlight, and the flares. Devon grabs one of the flares with his right-hand, thinking it could help with distracting the T-Rex.

"Alan, here!" Devon says turning back and extending the flare out to the Paleontologist

Alan takes the flare from the Keyblade Wielder and looks down at it for a moment, then nods his head.

"Yeah. This could work." Alan says

Suddenly, a loud pop is heard from up the road. The lead car's tire had burst from the Tyrannosaur's sharp teeth. Devon and Alan glance over at the road upon hearing the noise and rush to help Hammond's grandchildren. Alan turns and rushes out of the car. Devon was about to follow, but he goes back and grabs another flare from the case before heading out.

Out on the road, the Tyrannosaur lets out another roar with shredded black pieces of rubber tire hanging out from its teeth. Underneath her weight, the car begins to buckle with the vehicle's frame bending outwards. Lex and Tim were near the vehicle's open rear window. Mud and rainwater pour in around them as the car is crushed lower to the ground. Then, the T-Rex backs up, dragging the Ford Explorer up along the road. Devon and Alan rush out of their car to face the large carnivore, and the Paleontologist ignites his flare, pulling the white pull tab on the top with his left-hand. A bright red light burns off the end of the red stick.

"Hey!" Alan shouts waving the flare up in his right-hand

The T-Rex turns toward Devon and Alan, letting out a loud roar at them. Both heroes took a wary step back. Inside the rear car, Ian ignites a flare of his own. On the road, Alan slowly moves his flare from side-to-side, waving it first to the left, then to the right. The dinosaur follows the movement of his arm, her eyes locked on to the flare. Then, Alan throws the flare off to the side into the paddock, and the Tyrannosaur chases after it with a bellowing roar. However, just as the huge carnivore moves past Devon and Alan, Ian exits the car, waving his flare above his head to get the Rex' attention.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey!" Ian shouts

Devon and Alan turn to Ian and stare at him with shocked expressions.

"Ian, freeze!" Alan shouts

"What are you doing?!" Devon exclaims

"Get the kids!" Ian shouts

Now, the T-Rex turns its attention towards Ian, roaring at him in awareness.

"Get rid of the flare!" Alan shouts

The Chaotician takes off running down the road with the Tyrannosaurs Rex in pursuit.

"Get the kids!" Ian shouts glancing back over his right-shoulder

"Get rid of the flare!" Alan shouts

Ian throws his flare away, but the T-Rex stays right on him.

"Ian, move! She's right behind you!" Devon shouts

Ian runs for his life and changes direction, heading straight for the restroom on his right. In the restroom, Gennaro was sitting inside the stall, saying his prayers as he hid away from all the chaos that was happening outside. Every step the Tyrannosaur took made the whole building shake.

"Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord be with thee..." Gennaro prays

The lawyer could hear and feel the footsteps of the T-Rex as it approaches his hiding place, the sound and the shaking growing louder and more violent by the second. Fearing for his life, he screams.

"Aaaah!" Gennaro screams before slamming the door to the stall shut with his hands

The Tyrannosaur's head smashes through the front of the thatch building with Ian Malcolm up against her snout, sending chunks of debris flying everywhere inside. Ian is knocked down on his left-side and buried under the collapsing roof as it falls over him. The walls of the restroom around Gennaro collapses, leaving him completely exposed in the rain and seated on the toilet. The T-Rex stares at the lawyer for a moment, then slowly opens its mouth, growling with hunger. Gennaro's shaky movements and him wiping the rainwater away from his eyes gave away his position. Within moments, the large carnivore strikes.

"No! No! Aaaaaaahhhhhh!" Gennaro screams

The T-Rex lunges at Gennaro and snatches him up in her jaws, plucking the lawyer straight off the toilet, then shakes him around like a ragdoll, swinging her head left and right like a dog. While the Rex was busy with her prey, Devon and Alan scramble over to the wrecked car.

"Devon! Dr. Grant!" Lex exclaims

"Hang on! We got you!" Devon says

The Keyblade Wielder and Paleontologist kneel down alongside the crushed Ford Explorer and proceed to help the kids out. Lex was the first to be rescued. Tim tried to crawl up towards the back of the car, but couldn't because the ankles of his feet were pinned to the ground under the car seat.

"Unh! I'm stuck! The seat's got my feet!" Tim says

"We'll get you next!" Alan says looking underneath the wreckage

Devon and Alan help Lex from under the car, reaching in and taking her by her arms. She was all covered in mud and shaken up, but otherwise unharmed.

"We got you, Lex. You're okay." Devon says

Once Lex was out, Alan goes back to help Tim. It was gonna be more difficult to get him out, especially since the car seats had Tim's feet pinned by his ankles.

"Devon, gimme a hand." Alan says glancing back over his right-shoulder

Devon moves around to Alan's left-side and bends down to have a look under the Ford Explorer.

"Tim! Give us your hand! We'll pull you out!" Devon says reaching into the car with his right-hand

Before the two heroes could proceed to help Tim out, Lex lets out a loud, hysterical scream. Devon and Alan whirl to face the young girl, and the Paleontologist quickly grabs her, wrapping his left-arm around her shoulders, and covers her mouth with his right-hand.

"Don't move. It can't see us if we don't move." Alan says quietly

Devon, Alan, and Lex face the Tyrannosaurs Rex and freeze as she approaches them. The dinosaur's right-foot stomps down infront of them, leaving an equally massive footprint in the mud. She leans down and scans the area with a bellowing growl, her head moving left to right just inches away from their position. A snort from the animal's nostrils blows Alan's hat off his head. Devon, Alan, and Lex remain still, holding their breath. Finding nothing, the T-Rex lets out an irritated roar and pushes the Ford Explorer with her snout, causing it to spin around to the right on its roof. Devon, Alan, and Lex are pushed forward from behind by the spinning vehicle, but they scramble around on their knees, trying to stay ahead of it. They move around to the other side of the car as it slows to a stop. Now they were trapped between the vehicle and the concrete moat with the T-Rex still infront of them. The large carnivore bends down toward the wrecked car, seeing Tim still trapped underneath, and nudges it with her snout, lifting it up slightly. Tim screams. The Ford Explorer is pushed more to the right, closer to the moat as the Tyrannosaur lunges underneath the vehicle, snapping its jaws and stretching its tongue in an attempt to reach her prey, forcing the Keyblade Wielder, the Paleontologist, and the young girl to move away to the left.

"This way!" Alan shouts

The T-Rex pushes the car closer to the moat, causing it to spin the other way and forcing Devon, Alan, and Lex to stop and move back.

"No, no, wait!" Alan shouts

"Back, back!" Devon shouts

"Gnnh!" Alan grunts

Devon, Alan, and Lex quickly climb up onto the base of the paddock fence and avoid being crushed by the car as it's shoved up against the moat.

"Timmy! Timmy!" Lex screams

"Tim!" Alan exclaims

"Tim!" Devon exclaims

The Tyrannosaur roars in frustration and lunges at the car again, pushing it further against the moat with the vehicle's front sliding up against the concrete barrier. Devon jumps away to the left, avoiding the car as it separates him from Alan and Lex, but he loses his balance and stumbles over the barrier.

"Aaah!" Devon exclaims

The Keyblade Wielder falls back onto the road, landing flat on his back.

"Unh!" Devon grunts

"Devon!" Lex exclaims

"Devon!" Alan exclaims

The young teen groans as he was left dazed and disoriented from the fall. Luckily for him, the large carnivore was too preoccupied with the Ford Explorer to even notice.

The Tyrannosaur pushes the car further onto the barrier, and both Alan and Lex back away near the edge of the moat with the jungle down below them. The Paleontologist notices one of the fence cables at his feet and grabs it. The young girl climbs onto his back, and he starts to climb down along the concrete wall to escape the T-Rex. The cable was slick from the rain, but Alan manages to maintain his grip. They descend a couple feet down the wall until they stop and look up, hearing another roar from the Tyrannosaur. Above them, the car was now teetering over the edge, threatening to drop down right on top of them. Lex was beginning to lose her grip due to the wet rain and she unwittingly wraps her arms around Alan's neck, choking him.

"Lex! Lex, you're choking me!" Alan gags

A metallic groan comes from the Ford Explorer as it's pushed more out along the edge by the T-Rex with its front bumper and headlights appearing overhead. Alan quickly looks around and sees a loose cable dangling off the side to his right.

"Grab the wire!" Alan says to Lex

Lex extends her right-hand toward the cable, while Alan runs along wall of the moat, but they come up short. Using his momentum, he swings back to try again. Above them, the Ford Explorer is pushed more and more towards the edge of the moat, moving inch by inch until finally... it falls over completely! And just in the nick of time, Lex manages to grab hold of the cable on the third attempt, pulling herself and Alan out of harm's way. The vehicle falls past, missing them by inches, and crashes into the trees below with a loud crunch, its rear bumper still visible above the treetops. Alan and Lex look down at the car as it rested fifteen feet beneath them, knowing that Tim was still inside, then glance back up at the T-Rex as she loomed above them with her right-foot up on the barrier. The huge predator stares down at Alan and Lex, but they were safely out of her reach. Rearing her head back, the mighty Tyrannosaurs Rex unleashes a loud, dominant roar to the stormy sky as lightning flashes overhead behind her.

Devon recovered from his fall and sat upright. He saw the T-Rex standing on the concrete moat, but didn't see Alan, Lex, or the wrecked Ford Explorer anywhere. Judging from where the Tyrannosaur stood, she must've pushed Tim and the vehicle over the edge, and it's likely that Alan and Lex climbed down into the moat, using the fence cables to escape the large, hungry dinosaur. It's what he would've done anyway. Looking over at the wrecked restroom, he noticed Ian Malcolm, still unconscious underneath the debris, but no sign of Gennaro. The Tyrannosaur must've killed him already. If Alan, Ian, Lex, and Tim were to have any chance of survival, he had to lure the T-Rex away. Rising up to his feet, Devon brings his right thumb and index finger to his mouth and whistles out loudly to the huge dinosaur.

"Hey, Rexy! Over here!" Devon shouts bringing his hands up alongside his mouth to amplify his voice

The Tyrannosaurus Rex turns to face the Keyblade Wielder on her right, hearing his call, and roars out at him.

"You wanna hunt? Then come and get me!" Devon shouts spreading his arms out in as a challenge to the apex predator

After saying that, the young hero takes off running with fast speed past the ruined paddock restroom and heading northeast into the jungle. Rexy roars and chases after her new target.

At the Control Room, Arnold looks over the mass of incomprehensible commands that Nedry used on his computer to sabotage the park's security system, examining each and every one. Hammond, Muldoon, and Ellie, who had just arrived at the Visitor's Center after being dropped off by Gerry Harding, hovers over the chief engineer's shoulder and stares at the computer screen as he points to a specific series of commands.

"'Keycheck space minus O, keychecks off, safety space minus O'. He's turning the safety systems off. He doesn't want anybody to see what he's about to do. Now, look at this next entry here. It's the kicker. 'White rabbit object'. Whatever it did, it did it all. But with the keychecks off, the computer didn't file the keystrokes. So, the only way to find them now is to go through the computer's lines of code one by one." Arnold says pointing at the screen with his left index finger

"How many lines of code are there?" Ellie asks

"About two million." Arnold says pulling his cigarette from his mouth between his left index and middle finger

"Two million?" Ellie says in disbelief

"Yeah." Arnold says

Ellie turns to her left, walks over to the back of the room, and leans down at another table. Concerned about everything that was happening, Hammond turns to face Jurassic Park's game warden on his left with a request.

"Robert, I... I wonder if perhaps you would be good enough to take a gas jeep and bring back my grandchildren." Hammond says

"Sure." Muldoon says nodding his head

Muldoon turns to his left and begins to walk towards the door. Ellie's eyes watch him as he walks past her, then her head turns to Hammond. Worried about Devon and Alan, she decides to head out into the park with Muldoon.

"I'm going with him." Ellie says

Ellie turns to her left and follows Muldoon out as he opens the door, and she closes it behind them. Hammond stares at the door, looking pale and sweating, lost in a million thoughts. Behind him, the Nedry .gif on the computer continues to taunt him and Arnold.

"The magic word, the magic word. Ah, ah, ah! Ah, ah, ah! Ah, ah, ah!" The Nedry .gif says

From his chair, the chief engineer looks up at his CEO, looking just as concerned as he is.

"John?" Arnold calls

Hammond doesn't hear him. Arnold calls him again.

"John." Arnold calls

Arnold's voice finally reaches the old man as he slowly turns to his left to face the chief engineer, leaning on his cane and actually using it for the first time.

"I can't get Jurassic Park back online without Dennis Nedry." Arnold says

Elsewhere in the park, Nedry's Jeep roars down the park's access roads as he tries to find the East Dock. His foot was pressed against the accelerator and his body was hunched forward over the steering wheel, peering through the rain-battered windshield. He was lost in the rain, driving as fast as he could through the stormy weather and the treacherous conditions of the terrain to make up for lost time.

"Should've been there by now. No damn good." Nedry says shaking his head in frustration

Nedry turns his head toward the driver side window and looks out into jungle, taking away his concentration from the road. This foolishness would become his greatest mistake. When the computer programmer turns his attention back toward the road, his eyes widened in shock. Up ahead was an approaching white wooden guard rail fence meant to prevent any deviation from the road. Panicking, Nedry quickly turns his steering wheel to the left in a desperate attempt to steer his vehicle away, but it was too late. The Jeep smashes through the fence and skids out of control in the mud, heading off-road down a slope before crashing into an embankment flowing with water.

Nedry presses his foot down on the gas pedal, but the Jeep doesn't move. Opening the car door, he leans out, looks toward the back of the car, and sees the problem. The tires were stuck behind a fallen tree limb. He floors the pedal again, but the wheels just spin against the tree with the revving sound of the engine. The Jeep was going nowhere.

"Damn!" Nedry curses

The computer programmer gets out the car in frustration. But then, to his great relief, he notices another road at the bottom of the embankment, leading to a tunnel on the right. And next to this tunnel was a signpost, similar to the one he knocked down earlier, that pointed to the East Dock.

"There's the road!" Nedry says

Nedry couldn't believe his luck. He was so close to earning his payout. If he can just get his vehicle unstuck from the tree, he was home free. Going to the front of the Jeep, Nedry grabs the winch and pulls on its coil for additional length.

"Winch this sucker off the thing, and then I... tie it to that... thing there, and I... pull down this thing here, and I pull it back up again." Nedry mutters to himself, glancing back at a large tree down on the other side of the road over his right-shoulder

But just as he turns around, Nedry slips on the watery embankment and falls on his rear, then rolls down the slope, landing flat on his stomach and losing his glasses in the process.

"My glasses! I can afford more glasses." Nedry says

Pushing himself up to his feet, Nedry grabs the winch and pulls it over towards the tree. As he approaches the tree, the computer programmer stubs his right-foot against one of the tree roots hidden in the grass.

"Oh, jeez!" Nedry exclaims

With the winch in his right-hand, Nedry tries to throw the cable around the side of the tree, but it's radius was just too big to throw it around completely. Suddenly, there's some rustling in the jungle foliage nearby, followed by a soft squeal and a hooting sound of an animal. Nedry pauses and looks to his left at the jungle over his shoulder, but saw nothing. Going back to his task, he moves around the tree, dragging the winch along with him. He nervously checks his watch for a moment, then continues to pull the winch around the tree.

"You got time, you got time. You can do it! You can do! C'mon, Dennis!" Nedry grunts

The computer programmer hooks the end of the winch onto the cable and tightens it into place. As he pulls the winch tight, a small dinosaur appears from behind the tree with its head peeking out from the right-side. It was a Dilophosaurus, a juvenile, dark green in color with black spots on its body similar to an owl, standing four feet tall with two thin crests of bone on the top of its head, claws on its two arms that had an opposable thumb, and strong legs with three-toed feet that allowed the animal to run with speeds up to 30mph. The dinosaur observed this new entity in a playful and curious manner, emitting two hooting sound that drew Nedry's attention again. He leans his body around the side of the tree, but the creature moves away just as he looks over. It was like a game of hide-and-seek.

"Hello?" Nedry says

The Dilophosaur peeks out around the other side of the tree, hooting curiously and playfully. Nedry looks again around the other side. Again, the dinosaur ducks around the tree, out of his view. Nedry was beginning to feel rattled.

"Heh heh... Yeah, yeah, that's nice. Gotta go." Nedry chuckles nervously

Not wanting to waste any more time, he turns around to his left and starts moving back across the road. Just as he steps out onto the road, he heard the hooting noise again, causing him to stop. Something was behind him. Nedry turns around slowly to his right and finally sees the Dilophosaur standing infront of him. To Nedry, the dinosaur didn't look dangerous. In fact, it looked kinda cute.

"Oh... Ah, nice boy. Nice boy. Nice dinosaur. I thought you were one of your big brothers, you're not so bad. You're not so bad." Nedry says

The Dilophosaur stares at Nedry, tilting its head right and left curiously.

"What do you want? What do you want? A little food? Look at me. I just fell down a hill, I'm soakin' wet. I don't have any food. I have no food on me. I have nothing on me." Nedry says

Keeping his eyes on the dinosaur, Nedry lowers down to the ground and picks up a stick.

"Play fetch? Play fetch? Play fetch?" Nedry says

With the stick in his right-hand, the computer programmer holds the object out to the dinosaur to divert its attention away from him.

"Look, see? See stick? See stick? Yeah, look, stick. Look, stick. Stick, stupid." Nedry says

Nedry throws the stick off into the jungle, hoping that the animal would chase after it.

"Fetch the stick, boy! Go on. You like the stick?" Nedry says

The Dilophosaur glances back over its right-side, watching the stick fly off into the jungle, but it turns back to face the human, showing hardly any interest for the object. Nedry frowned. Angry that his trick was unsuccessful, he jeered the creature.

"Man, no wonder you're extinct." Nedry says

The dinosaur tilts its head to the left with a curious squeal.

"Gonna run you over when I come back down." Nedry says

Nedry turns around to his right and continues heading for his Jeep. He climbs up the embankment but slips and falls onto his stomach. Before he could get back up, the computer programmer hears another hoot. Looking back, he saw the Dilophosaur standing infront of him again. Nedry stares at the animal with shaky breaths, nervous of what it might do next. The two brightly colored orange-yellow frills around the Dilophosaur's neck flares up and expands, rattling wildly with a sound similar to a rattlesnake's tail, snarling and hissing at its prey. In that moment, a big, wet, gooey black glob of venom smacks onto the middle of Nedry's chest. He reaches down with his right-hand and pulls it off his body, grimacing in disgust. The animal blasted its spit on him.

"Eugh." Nedry says

The Dilophosaur hisses and snarls again, forcing Nedry to look back at it. Fearing of another attack, he quickly gets up on his feet and hastily runs up to his car on the embankment. But when he turns left to face the animal again, another venom glob from the dinosaur hits Nedry right smack in the face, the stinging toxins burning his eyes and causing intense, excruciating pain.

"Geeahah! Aaaaaaaaaaaahh!" Nedry screams in agony

Nedry turns to his right and frantically rubs his eyes with his fingers to clear away the venom, then turns to his left and staggers forward to get in the Jeep, but smacks his head against the car's door frame and falls backwards onto the embankment. The Barbasol can with the dinosaur embryos falls out from his jacket and tumbles down into the runoff waters of the embankment, flowing downhill and landing at the bottom of the hill near the road. Getting back to his feet, Nedry climbs into the Jeep and quickly slams the car door shut. Believing he was safe, the computer programmer takes a moment to catch his breath and breathes a sigh of relief. Howev er, that relief was short-lived when he heard a rattling sound. Nedry turns to his right and to his horror, the Dilophosaur was in the car alongside him in the passenger seat. With its frills fanning angrily, the dinosaur snarls menacingly, reaching a crescendo, then pounces forward with its sharp teeth, slamming its human prey against the driver's side of the Jeep. The vehicle shook violently from the vicious attack inside, and the air was filled with the snarls and hisses of the Dilophosaurus and the screams of Dennis Nedry as he met his end.

At the bottom of the embankment, rain and mud washes over the Barbasol can, burying it and the dinosaur embryos underneath a muddy pile.

Over at the Tyrannosaur Paddock, the rain had finally stopped as the storm passes and dissipates, and both Alan and Lex were now at the bottom of the concrete moat. Like it or not, they were now stranded in the park with thick jungle foliage surrounding them on all sides. Alan bends down to a culvert in the moat and washes the mud off his face with the running rainwater, then turns and looks up at the wrecked Ford Explorer, which was still stuck in the tree, nose down from the thickest top branches, and calls out to Tim to see if he was alright.

"Timmy? Timmy! Tim!" Alan calls

There's no response. Knowing he had to help Tim, Alan turns back to Lex, who was hyperventilating, still terrified by the attack. Her breathing was short, desperate gasps. Alan puts his hands on her shoulders to try and calm the poor girl down and speaks to her gently.

"Now, Lex, listen. Listen to me. Lex, I'm right here. I'm gonna look after you, but I have to go help your brother. So I want you to stay right here and wait for me." Alan says glancing back at the wrecked car in the tree briefly before turning back to Lex

"He left us. He left us!" Lex exclaims hysterically

"But that's not... what I'm gonna do. Okay?" Alan says nodding his head with a warm smile

Alan's words seemed to get through to Lex as her breathing slowed, becoming more relaxed as she calmed down. The Paleontologist turns to his right and starts walking toward the tree, but not before giving the young girl one last instruction.

"Stay here." Alan says pointing to Lex with his right index finger

After saying that, Alan continues heading for the tree, while Lex scampers into the drainage pipe to hide. Approaching the tree, Alan grabs hold of the first branch with his right-hand and begins his long climb to the Ford Explorer. The tree's branches were thick enough to support his weight and were regularly spaced, which made it a fairly good climb.

"Tim? Timmy, I'm coming up." Alan says

Alan moved with a good pace going from branch to branch, though he muttered a complaint during his ascend.

"I hate climbing. I hate trees, way too high." Alan mutters

Eventually, the Paleontologist reaches the car's level, climbing up to its driver side. The vehicle was in particularly rough shape. It was thinner than it used to be, and there was dozens of cuts, scrapes, and dents that covered nearly every inch of its body. The front wheels were driven solidly into a thick branch, which was what held the vehicle in place.

"Hey, Tim? Tim?" Alan says

Alan climbs over to the car door and opens it with his left-hand, letting the door fall out sideways. Looking inside, he could see the young boy huddled frightened on the floor on the passenger side in a fetal position, hugging his knees to his chest. He was dirty from the mud, and he had a bloody wound on his head just above his right-eye, probably inflicted as a result of the crash, but remarkably, he was alive. Tim opens his eyes, seeing Alan as he leans his body into the car.

"Tim. You okay?" Alan asks

"I threw up." Tim says weakly

"Oh... Oh, that's okay. Just give me your hand." Alan says extending his right-hand to Tim

The young boy doesn't move, almost hesitant.

"Tim, I won't tell anyone you threw up. Just... Just give me your hand." Alan says

Alan grabs hold of the car's steering wheel to pull himself further in, and the wheel spins counterclockwise, causing the tires to turn towards the left and lose a bit of their grip on the branch. Tim takes hold of Alan's hand and starts making his way across the vehicle.

"Here, I gotcha. Come on." Alan says

"Okay." Tim says

"That's good. Over the rail." Alan says

"Don't pull me too hard." Tim says

"Stand on the door. Hang on to me." Alan says

As he climbs out of the car, Tim wraps his arms around Alan's body, while he holds on to him, securing his left-arm around the boy's waist. They climb down from the car a little ways down and stop on a branch.

"Okay, that's not too bad, right, Tim?" Alan says

"Yes, it is." Tim says

"It's just like coming out of a tree house. Your dad ever build you a tree house?" Alan says

"No." Tim says

"Yeah, me too. Now, the thing about climbing is, you never, never look down." Alan says

"This is impossible. How am I gonna do this? It's about 50... 50 feet." Tim says

"I'm gonna help you with your footing." Alan says

Suddenly, a branch snaps loudly from above, forcing Alan and Tim to look up. The Ford Explorer groans and begins to sag, shifting down dramatically towards them.

"Oh, no. Tim, go!" Alan says

The Paleontologist and the young boy start to climb down, going as fast as they could. They descend a couple feet down the tree until the branch holding the vehicle snaps. It smashes through thinner branches, then hits open space and goes into freefall. Alan and Tim turn, close their eyes, and brace themselves for impact, but luckily, the car lands on another thick branch with a thud and stays in place. Alan opens his eyes and looks up above his right-shoulder at the car's grill, which was only inches above them. He knew the branch wouldn't hold for long against the heavy vehicle, so he and Tim continue their descent, moving even faster. Seven seconds later, the branch starts to creak and give way slowly, causing Alan and Tim to look up once more. It looked like the branch was going to break at any moment.

"Oh! Go, go, go, go! Tim, go!" Alan shouts

The second branch breaks, and the Ford Explorer descends rapidly toward the Paleontologist and the small boy.

"Faster, Tim!" Alan says

Alan and Tim were now half-climbing and half-falling down the tree with the wrecked vehicle right behind them. The branches bended and broke downwards along with the car as it got closer and closer.

"Tim, jump!" Alan shouts

Once they were a few feet close enough to the ground, they jump off the tree and hit the dirt. Alan grabs Tim and ducks down low with him just as the Ford Explorer smashes into the earth nose first, landing on the tree's large roots. He looks up over his right-shoulder and saw the car standing upright. At first, he was relieved, but he knew that the vehicle could still come down on top of them if they didn't move.

"Go, Tim." Alan says

As they try to run, the Ford Explorer starts to tilt and fall forward with a groaning sound. Knowing that they won't be able to get away in time, Alan balls himself over Tim to protect him. The car crashes down around them, but by sheer luck, they were saved by the hole in the sunroof.

"Well... we're back... in the car again." Tim pants

"Well... at least you're out of the tree." Alan pants

Elsewhere on the island, Devon runs down a jungle path, his right-foot stomping through a puddle as he moves fast like a Olympic sprinter. He soon skids to a stop at a fork in the path, which splits off in two directions. One heads up east, the other goes down west. The Keyblade Wielder looks down both paths, trying to decide which way he should go. A loud roar from the Tyrannosaurus Rex sounds off behind, forcing Devon to look back over his right-shoulder. He had managed to outrun the huge predator for the moment, but he knew she could track him with her sense of smell. And judging by the loudness of her roar, Rexy wasn't far behind. Facing the fork in the jungle, the young hero decides to head down the right path towards the west.

Devon leaps up onto a large log with a somersault and slides down it as if riding a skateboard using Flowmotion, then jumps off and continues running. He quickly approaches a fallen tree blocking his path up ahead, tilted at a low angle to the left. Not stopping, the Keyblade Wielder gets down low and slides underneath the tree, clearing the gap, then jumps up to keep going. Another log, even larger than the last one, laid directly in his path, but Devon leaps up high over it, landing crouched on the other side and continues onwards.

After parkouring through the jungle for several minutes, Devon stops at a large tree and leans his right-side against it to catch his breath. He knew he couldn't outrun the T-Rex all night. He had to escape it somehow before he exhausts himself. In that moment, an even louder roar from the dinosaur sounds off behind him. He could also hear the rustling and the crashing of trees in the jungle and the loud stomps of her footsteps growing louder and louder by the second. She was closing in. Devon moves around the other side of the tree and hides away out of sight, pressing his back against the trunk and keeping still as possible. Soon, Rexy enters the area, emitting a deep bellowing growl as she searches for her prey. The large dinosaur sniffs the air and the ground, trying to pick up Devon's scent, while he was only a few meters away from her position. With her enhanced sense of smell, it wouldn't be long before she picks up on his location. The Keyblade Wielder needed a distraction and fast. Something to draw her away. As he hid from the T-Rex, he remembered something that might help. Devon reaches into his jacket with his right-hand and pulls out the flare he took from the tour vehicle. It was successful in luring the dinosaur away the first time when Alan used it, so it should be able to help him now. With slow and steady movements, the young teen grabs the white tab on the top with his left-hand and pulls it off, igniting the pyrotechnic tool with its red light burning brightly. Then, he throws the flare out into the open. Rexy immediately noticed the flare as it flies out into view from right to left, going far across the jungle. Attracted by the light, the T-Rex lets out a loud roar and chases after the strange object. And by sheer luck, the flare lands in a huge muddy puddle of rainwater, dousing the light and eliminating its burning odor, preventing the possibility of a forest fire and the chances of the animal sniffing it out. Rexy's right-foot stomps down on the flare, burying it underneath the mud and the water, and the huge carnivore continues heading straight along her path. Emerging from his hiding place, Devon watches the T-Rex as she quickly disappears into the night, her footsteps becoming more and more faint as she moves further and further away.

"Huh... That was a close one." Devon sighs

The Keyblade Wielder looks around at the jungle that surrounded him, noticing how eerily quiet it was. The roars of the T-Rex had practically silenced everything within the park.

"All right, Devon. You survived a rampaging T-Rex. So now what? You're out alone in the jungle at night, you've been separated from the others, and you're out here talking to yourself." Devon says to himself

Devon turns to face the path he came from on his left, thinking about Alan, Ian, Lex, and Tim, and wondering if they were okay.

"I should probably head back to the Tyrannosaur Paddock, make sure Alan and the others are alright." Devon says

However, just as he started to walk back, a loud shrill roar breaks the silence, echoing from within the jungle, forcing the young teen to quickly turn around. The sound lasted for about six seconds before it faded out into silence.

"What was that?" Devon asks

From the sound of it, it had to have been a dinosaur, probably another one that escaped its enclosure. Five seconds later, the same roar is heard again. Whatever type the animal was, it sounded like it was in distress. Eager to investigate, the Keyblade Wielder dashes forward, heading south along the path and deeper into the park.

Devon kept running through the jungle, following the distressed roars, until he came upon an obstacle in his path. It was one of the park's electric fences. Unlike the Tyrannosaur Paddock, this fence stood eight feet tall. A fairly easy climb. Another roar sounds off from the other side, meaning that he was definitely heading in the right direction. The young teen looked up at the danger sign that warned him of the 10,000 volts, but if the T-Rex attack was of any indication, he knew that the power was out. Still, being cautious, he reaches out slowly with his right-hand, moving inch by inch until... his hand wraps around the wire. He felt a slight jolt, but that was just his nerves. Devon breathes a sigh of relief, then proceeds to climb the fence. Once he was over on the other side, he jumps down and continues running. However, as the Keyblade Wielder heads deeper into the park, hidden on the other side of the nearby brush was a concrete sign, similar to the one on the tour near the Dilophosaur Paddock. On this sign was the black image of a Velociraptor's three claws and the name of the dinosaur paddock directly underneath.

Brushing his way through palm leaves, fern plants, and all other jungle foliage, Devon moves down the dirt path until he skids to a stop at a clearing. He was shocked by what he saw.

Before him was a lone Velociraptor. She had brownish-tan skin, a light cream underbelly, yellow-green eyes with black vertical pupils, a large black spot around her eyes, black tiger-like stripes along her body, running down from the back of her head to the tip of her long tail, and more stripes down the sides of her strong thighs.

Surrounding her was a large pack of Dream Eaters named Reptiladons, reptilian dog-like beasts that were the same size and build as large dogs with scaly bodies, long tails with a three-tip spike, four muscular legs with four-clawed feet, and a large Komodo Dragon-like head with red eyes and rows of huge teeth, two protruding canines on top jaw.

The Reptiladons growled and snarled at the Velociraptor, while she hissed and snarled back at the dark creatures, squatting down low with her claws extended. Soon, the Nightmares made the first move with one pouncing forward and another charging to attack. The Velociraptor dodges the first Reptiladon, leaping away to the right, grabs the creature with her jaws, and tosses it away, then smacks away the second one with a whip of her tail. Fighting back, the Velociraptor pounces on a Reptiladon and kills it with a strong bite around its throat. A third Reptiladon charges at the dinosaur, but she leaps away, dodging its attack.

Devon watched the Velociraptor as she defended herself against the Dream Eaters. She was a good fighter, but she was completely outnumbered. Although it was a ferocious dinosaur, the Keyblade Wielder knew that this Velociraptor would need his help if she was to survive against the dark creatures.

"She's putting up a good fight, but she won't last long against those Dream Eaters. Time to even the odds." Devon says

Summoning his Keyblade: Soul Calibur to his right-hand, Devon dashes forward to help the Velociraptor against the Dream Eaters. The Reptiladons start to close in on the raptor. She backed away slightly, but still stood her ground. Within moments, a Reptiladon roars loudly, charges forward with fast speed and attacks, leaping towards the dinosaur with its claws extended and its jaws wide open in slow motion. But just as it was about to reach her, Devon jumps in from the right from the raptor's perspective and tackles the dark creature out of the way. The young hero jumps back to his feet and twisted his body to the left, holding his crystal Keyblade horizontally infront of him as the Dream Eaters turned their attention to him. The Velociraptor straightened her posture and stared at this strange human that was defending her from these evil creatures, emitting a curious growl.

Now setting their sights on the Keyblade Wielder, the Reptiladons charged forward and attacked. Devon cuts through the first Reptiladon with a left slash, then follows up with a right uppercut slash, a downward slash, a right slash, and a left slash, taking out four more. Holding Soul Calibur straight, he shoots a magic blast of ice at a Reptiladon using a Blizzard spell, freezing it completely in ice, then he dispatches the Dream Eater with a reverse roundhouse slash, shattering it to pieces. Turning to the few remaining Reptiladons, Devon raises his glowing crystal Keyblade above his head with his right-hand, then swings it downward, summoning a cascade of blue lightning bolts, which strikes down on the dark creatures, vaporizing them into oblivion.

And with that, the Dream Eaters were defeated. Devon straightens himself up and dismisses Soul Calibur from his hand. As he stood there, the young teen felt hot puffs of air behind his back. It was the Velociraptor, sniffing him with her snout. Devon turns to his left and faces the dinosaur as she stood before him.

"Hey there, girl. That was a close call. You okay?" Devon says with a smile

The Velociraptor simply blinked at him, showing no aggression or signs of hunger. Instead, she studied him carefully. This human before her had the most curious scent, very different compared to the others who treated her like a savage beast they needed to keep their distance from. There was something special about him. And there was this strange feeling inside her. Almost like an instinct, to protect. The Keyblade Wielder noticed the Velociraptor's interest in him. Perhaps she was smart enough to recognize him as a friend and not some prey to be eaten. Slowly, he reaches out his right-hand and holds it just inches away from her head. The dinosaur stares and sniffs his open palm a couple times, then leans closer. Her muzzle comes into contact with his hand, and she emits a gentle purr, closing her eyes in content to the human's warm touch. Devon smiled as he stroked the Velociraptor's snout with his hand, knowing that he had earned her trust. But there was one thing he didn't understand. All the other Velociraptors were kept in the raptor pen near the Visitor's Center, so why was she out in the park all by herself?

"How come you're out here by yourself, huh? Why aren't you with the other raptors?" Devon asks

As he looked at her, the young teen immediately noticed something. A huge scar, three slash marks going down vertically across her right-side, made by something sharp like a pair of claws from another dinosaur.

"Whoa... What happened here? Where'd you get this scar?" Devon asks

Devon ran his hand gently over the Velociraptor's side, stroking it downwards over the scar, tracing it with his fingers. Then, in that moment, the Keyblade Wielder gasped as his vision suddenly whitened out.

A few seconds later, Devon's vision recovered, and he saw that he was in the Velociraptor Paddock in broad daylight in the same clearing, recognizing the scenery around him. Then, he saw a group of Velociraptors, eight to be exact, standing around in a circle. Two of them were engaged in an intense standoff near the center of the pack. The one on the right he recognized as the Velociraptor he saved. The second on the left was slightly bigger compared to her and the others, she had a much darker, brownish-gray skin tone, and she seemed to be very aggressive. Devon assumed this was the Big One, the Velociraptor that Muldoon mentioned in their first meeting. It seemed that the fight between the two dinosaurs was a fight for dominance over the pack. They circled one another, going counterclockwise as they exchanged menacing growls, hisses, and shrill roars, snapping their jaws. Then, the two Velociraptors leapt at each other and clashed. They wrestled for a while until the Big One knocks her opponent down with a headbutt. Leaping on top of her, the Big One snaps her jaws twice, aiming for the neck, but the Velociraptor kicks her off and rolls to her feet. The two dinosaurs clash again with some more wrestling. And this time, the Big One lands a deadly blow to her opponent. Using her claws, she slashes at the Velociraptor in her side, creating three bloody slash wounds on her body and causing her to screech in pain. Wounded, the Velociraptor backs away in defeat. The Big One roars loudly at her opponent in victory, having now become the alpha of the raptor pack.

In a white flash, Devon experiences another vision. Now, it was dark at night in the Velociraptor Paddock with floodlights illuminating the enclosure. The Big One and two of her pack mates had been tranquillized by Muldoon, who held a tranquilizer rifle in his hands with a few InGen employees standing alongside him, while other employees worked on disposing the dead raptors that had been killed off by the alpha, shouting orders in both English and Spanish. It turns out this event was many weeks ago before the accident in Jurassic Park with the fatality of Jophrey Brown. As he stared down at the sedated dinosaur, Dr. Gerry Harding approaches him from behind.

"Muldoon... they're dead. She killed them off." Gerry says

The Game Warden glances back over his left-shoulder at the employee as he said this, then looks down at the three unconscious raptors before him, letting out a sigh. He had a feeling this sort of thing would happen with the Big One's arrival.

"Get them to the Raptor Pen." Muldoon says

Six InGen employees, two for each Velociraptor, hastily move forward and lift up the animals by their heads and their tails, carrying them away. While the Big One and her pack mates were taken and transferred to the Raptor Pen, the wounded Velociraptor watched, hidden within the distant brush.

Returning to the present time, Devon gasps as he recovered from the visions. The Keyblade Wielder glances down at his left-hand and stares at his open palm. In that moment, he remembered. He has the power of Psychometry, an incredible ability he obtained during his first visit in Distant Galaxy, which usually allowed him to witness events regarding objects and places, but in this case, he was able to see this Velociraptor's past. He looks up at the dinosaur, who stares back curiously at him. He couldn't help but feel sympathy for her. She was once the leader of the raptor pack, but her position had been stripped away by a larger, stronger Velociraptor. She had been rendered an outcast.

"I'm sorry. I'm sure it must feel lonely for you out here." Devon says

The young teen strokes the Velociraptor's head with his right-hand, and she purrs again in content to his touch. As he petted the dinosaur, an idea quickly formed in Devon's mind.

"Hey... Why don't you come with me? I'm looking for some friends of mine who are also lost in the park. And you need someone to look after you. We could help each other out." Devon says

The Velociraptor let out a single bark, happily agreeing to her new friend's offer to join him. The dinosaur licks the human's face with her tongue and nuzzles herself against him with much affection.

"Heh heh! Okay, okay. Easy, girl. Easy." Devon chuckles patting the Velociraptor's head with his hands

The animal obediently steps back.

"Hmm... If you're gonna be tagging along with me, you're gonna need a name. Can't just call you Velociraptor the whole time I'm here." Devon says

Crossing his arms, the young teen began thinking to himself on what to call the Velociraptor. It took Devon a while as he thought up of many different names. And then, finally, he found one name that would best suit her.

"I know! I'll call you Raika. How's that?" Devon says

Raika lets out a bark, instantly liking the name. Devon nods his head with a smile, glad to see that she liked it. With introductions out of the way, the Keyblade Wielder glanced around at the surrounding jungle, which was incredibly dark. To resolve this issue, Devon stretches his right-hand out infront of him and summons Soul Calibur back into his grip. The crystal Keyblade glows brightly with its blue light, illuminating the jungle fifty meters in every direction. Raika curiously sniffed the weapon in Devon's hand, seemingly attracted to its heavenly glow.

"Oh. You're interested in this? It's a Keyblade, a special weapon that only I can wield. It's what I used to defeat those monsters that attacked you. It'll keep us safe." Devon says

Turning back to the jungle, Devon holds up Soul Calibur above his head and looks around to decide which way to go.

"Come on, Raika. Let's get out of here. We need to find some safe place to settle down for the night." Devon says

And so, Devon and the newly named Velociraptor, Raika, began their walk together as they headed deeper into the jungle, moving west in the park.

Sometime later, Ellie and Muldoon arrive at the Tyrannosaur Paddock, where the attack took place, in an open top Jeep, wearing yellow raincoats and holding yellow, handheld lantern flashlights in their right-hands. The car skids to a stop and they jump out to investigate. The road was a rutted, muddy mess, the paddock restroom was nothing but a pile of thatch debris, and up ahead, they notice Explorer 05, untouched with both its driver and passenger doors left open, while Explorer 04 was missing.

"Where's the other car? Where's the other car?!" Ellie asks

Ellie runs over to the second vehicle and looks inside, then looks around to try and find the other one, but didn't see it anywhere. Muldoon follows her and they look around, trying to find the survivors.

"Alan!" Ellie calls

"Dr. Grant!" Muldoon calls

"Alan! Devon!" Ellie screams

"Grant!" Muldoon calls

The Paleobotanist and the Game Warden walk over to the ruined remains of the paddock restroom and discover something unpleasant: the remains of the lawyer.

"I think this was Gennaro." Muldoon says looking underneath a large piece of thatch

"I think this was, too." Ellie says shining her flashlight down ahead of her

Suddenly, they hear the loud roar of the T-Rex coming from within the jungle, and it sounded close.

"I think it's ahead of us." Ellie says

"It could be anywhere. With the fences down, it could wander in and out of any paddock it likes." Muldoon says

Then, they hear a groaning sound coming from somewhere in the ruined paddock restroom.

"Ohhh..." A voice groans

Ellie and Muldoon rush over and they find Ian Malcolm lying on his back, semiconscious among the twisted thatch debris. His shirt had been ripped open, exposing his chest, and his trousers were torn in a couple places.

"Oh, God." Ellie says

Ellie looks down and noticed that Ian's right-leg was broken. Fortunately, he had twisted his belt around his wounded leg as a

"He put a tourniquet on." Ellie says

Looking back at the Chaotician, Ellie calls out to him, hoping for a response.

"Ian? Ian?" Ellie says

Ian groans again and groggily responds to the Paleobotanist.

"Remind me to thank John for a lovely weekend." Ian says

Another roar from the T-Rex is heard from the jungle, forcing Ellie and Muldoon to look up. It sounded much closer than before.

"Can we chance moving him?" Ellie asks

Ian sits up and looks in the same direction as them.

"Please, chance it." Ian says

Muldoon carefully loads Ian into the back of the Jeep, while Ellie continues to look around, searching for any sign of Alan, Devon, or the kids. A third roar from the T-Rex is heard, closer still. Muldoon looks back at the jungle over his left-shoulder, then turns back to Ellie with a sense of urgency.

"Ellie, come on!" Muldoon says

"Wait..." Ellie says

Looking down at the ground, Ellie notices deep ruts in the road, made by the first vehicle when the Tyrannosaur dragged it. She traces them back to the concrete barrier with her flashlight. Walking over to the barrier, the Paleobotanist looks over the side, and down below she spots...

"The other car!" Ellie exclaims looking over at Muldoon on her right

Ellie and Muldoon descend into the paddock and approach the wreckage. Their flashlights shining light by the base of the tree.

"Dr. Grant?" Muldoon says

"Alan! Devon!" Ellie says

The Paleobotanist and the Game Warden quickly approach the wrecked Ford Explorer. Muldoon checks one side of the vehicle, while Ellie nervously goes around to the other side. They peer inside, but find no sign of Devon, Alan, Lex, or Tim.

"They're not here." Muldoon says

Ellie shines her flashlight down at the muddy ground and finds three sets of footprints of different sizes, one adult and two children, leading off into the jungle.

Out on the park road, Ian Malcolm was laid out in the back of the open Jeep when he felt something strange. He looks down on his right at a massive three-toed footprint of the Tyrannosaurus Rex in the road, filled with water from the rain, and the puddle vibrates rhythmically same as before, rippling with each stomp of the prehistoric predator. Ian stares with widened eyes full of shock.

"Anybody hear that? It's a, um- It's an impact tremor is what that is. I'm fairly alarmed here." Ian says

Worried that the T-Rex might be heading their way, Ian frantically calls out to Ellie and Muldoon.

"Come on, come on, come on. We gotta get outta here. We gotta get outta here. Now, now! Right now! Go, go, go! Let's go!" Ian says

Ellie and Muldoon race back to the Jeep and jump in.

"Start the engine!" Ian says

In that moment, Rexy smashes out of the jungle foliage and bursts onto the road, letting out a loud roar. Muldoon starts the car, slams it into gear, drops the clutch and hits the gas, tearing off down the road. The T-Rex charges after them, running at 30mph.

"We must go faster." Ian says glancing back over his left-shoulder

The Tyrannosaur lets out another roar and starts to slowly close in on tge vehicle. Ian and Ellie shout and scream in terror.

"Here it comes! Step on it! Shift gear! Shift gear!" Ian shouts

"Shit! Shiiiit! Shiiiit!" Ellie screams

Muldoon looks down at the side view mirror where it says, 'OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR' and the large dinosaur unleashes another roar, her jaws wide open, taking up the whole view of the mirror.

"Ohhh!" Ian exclaims

Ian backs away and his right-elbow accidentally hits the gearshift, putting the Jeep into Neutral and slowing it down.

"Get off the stick! Bloody move!" Muldoon shouts looking down

Ellie looks ahead on the road and her eyes widened when she saw a half-fallen tree hanging dangerously low across the road.

"Look out!" Ellie screams

Muldoon looks ahead, noticing the fallen tree, and his eyes grow wide.

"Down!" Muldoon shouts

Muldoon, Ellie, and Ian all duck down low in the vehicle as they pass underneath the tree. The windshield breaks off from the Jeep, passing over them. Rexy smashes through the tree without slowing down and lunges at the car with her jaws, missing them by mere inches. Moving up alongside the Jeep, she rams her head against the passenger side, lifting it up slightly, but the vehicle keeps on driving. The T-Rex lets out another loud roar, while Ellie lets out a terrifying scream. Muldoon shifts the car back into fifth gear and floors it, picking up more speed. Soon, the huge dinosaur starts to fall behind and gives up on the chase, moving off the road to the right and into the jungle. Ian, Ellie, and Muldoon all breathe a sigh of relief.

"Think they'll have that on the tour?" Ian asks

The Jeep and the three humans continue off down the access road, heading back to the Visitor's Center as the roars of the Tyrannosaurus Rex echo across the jungle.

Near the southwest edge of the Tyrannosaur Paddock, Alan, Lex, and Tim were walking through the park when they hear the same roars out in the distance.

"Are you hearing this?" Lex asks

They hear another roar from the T-Rex. Alan looks around for a safe place to hide, and turns his attention to the giant, towering trees that surrounded them. He looks up at one that was closest to them on their left, believing it would be as good a place as any.

"Come on. Let's, uh, get up this tree." Alan says

And so, they all clamber up the gigantic roots of the tree and begin their climb upwards. Lex and Tim head up first with Alan right behind them for support, giving them a push when needed.

"Oh, no." Tim groans

"Come on, Tim. It's okay. Try up here." Alan says

"I don't want to. Oh, man. I hate trees." Tim groans

"They don't bother me." Lex says

"Oh, yeah, well, you weren't in the last one." Tim says

Eventually, the trio reach a large, flat area near the top of the tree, a web of branch where they settle in. There, they had an incredible view of the park. The full moon shone brightly in the night sky with a few scattered clouds left over from the storm, and they could clearly see the vast expanse of treetops in all directions. But most of all, they saw three sauropod heads at the end of long necks, towering over the trees, and could also hear the bellowing, whale-like sounds of the animals. It sounded almost musical.

"Hey, those are Brontosauruses. I mean, uh, Brachiosaurs." Tim says

"They're singing." Alan says

Alan smiled as he observed the dinosaurs, feeling almost enchanted by their harmonic voices. Moving up to a higher branch, he puts both hands infront of his mouth, kind of like a trumpet horn, and actually hoots himself, trying to imitate their calls.

"Wroooo! Hrrroooooo!" Alan hoots

The three Brachiosaurs out in the park turn their heads in their direction and hoot back in response to Alan's call. Five more Brachiosaur heads emerge from the jungles below and turn and hoot as well.

"Shh, shh! Don't let the monsters come over here." Lex says patting Alan's right-leg twice with her right-hand

"They're not monsters, Lex. They're just animals. These are herbivores." Alan says

"That means they only eat vegetables, but for you, I think they'd make an exception." Tim says

"Tim." Alan says disapprovingly

"Oh, I hate the other kind." Lex says

"The other kind just... do what they do." Alan says

Climbing back down onto the web of branch, Alan settles himself in, leaning back against the trunk of the tree with little room along either side of him. The two kids nestle up next to him with Lex on his left, and Tim on his right. The Paleontologist was surprised but accepts their company. They settle in for the night, until something in Alan's back pocket pinches and pokes him.

"Ooh! Aah!" Alan exclaims

Alan winces. Digging into his back pocket with his right-hand, he pulls out the Velociraptor claw he unearthed back at the dig site in Montana. He stares down at the item that used to be so priceless, thinking a million thoughts. Lex and Tim look down at the raptor claw as well for a moment, seemingly intrigued by it before settling back in.

"What are you and Ellie gonna do now if you don't have to pick up dinosaur bones anymore?" Lex asks looking up at Alan

"I don't know. I guess... we'll just have to evolve, too." Alan says

To lighten the mood, Tim comes up with a joke.

"What do you call a blind dinosaur?" Tim asks

"I don't know. What do you call a blind dinosaur?" Alan asks

"A Do-you-think-he-saurus." Tim says

The Paleontologist chuckles, amused by Tim's joke.

"Heh heh heh heh." Alan chuckles

"What do you call a blind dinosaur's dog?" Tim asks

"You got me." Alan says

"A Do-you-think-he-saurus Rex." Tim says

Again, the Paleontologist laughed.

"Heh heh heh heh." Alan chuckles

"Alan?" Lex says

"Yeah?" Alan says looking at the young girl on his left

"Do you think Devon's all right?" Lex asks

The Paleontologist looks down for a moment in thought, then gazes out at the expanse of treetops and the Brachiosaurs, wondering where he was in the park.

"Well... based on what I've seen him do with his Keyblade, I'm sure he can take care of himself. During our flight in the helicopter, he said he lost his home, his friends, and his parents a long time ago when he was a kid." Alan says

"Really?" Tim says

"Yeah. Said he watched them die right infront of him. And he was spared thanks to someone he called... Uh... The Inheritor? Now, I know Devon wouldn't make something like that up, and I can't imagine anyone having suffered anything more traumatic than him." Alan says

"That's horrible." Lex says

"Gee. I really feel bad for Devon." Tim says

"Yeah. I'm sure it hasn't been easy for him. But from what I can tell, he's one hell of a survivor. If he can survive an apocalypse, then I'm sure he can survive being stranded on an island full of dinosaurs." Alan says

"Alan, what if the T-Rex comes back while we're all asleep?" Lex asks

"Well, I'll stay awake." Alan says

"All night?" Lex asks

"All night." Alan says

And so, Tim and Lex close their eyes as they succumb to slumber. Alan looks at them as they sleep, then looks down at the raptor claw in his hand. He realized that the fossils he dug up were now hardly a source of information compared to these living prehistoric creatures, and that his job was gone. Thus, he tosses away the raptor claw, letting it drop to the jungle floor.

Elsewhere in the Velociraptor Paddock, Devon chops his way through the park, using Soul Calibur to cut through the dense jungle with Raika, the Velociraptor following close behind him. They enter another clearing with one or two trees scattered about, and a small pond near the center. And to their right was a maintenance shed built into the side of a short cliff with a large, tall tree on its right. Above the door was a red bar light that glowed brightly with its color, illuminating the area around it.

Devon and Raika approach the shed and the Keyblade Wielder gazes up at the glowing red light. He figured there must've been an emergency backup system supplying power to the shed.

"Huh. This looks promising." Devon says

The young teen looks down at the chrome door handle and tries to open it with his right-hand. As expected, the door was...

"Locked. Of course. That would've been too easy." Devon sighs

Devon looks over to his left and he noticed a keypad with a flashing rectangular red light alongside it. To him, the task was clear. In order to access the shed, he would need to figure out the code to unlock the door. The Keyblade Wielder glances down at his left-hand, thinking that his power of Psychometry could help him learn the code. Putting his hand over the keypad, Devon closes his eyes and concentrates on searching for past events relating to the keypad.

Light blue mystical energy borders all four corners of his sight as a vision appears in his mind. Through his telekinetic ability, he sees an InGen employee walking up to the raptor maintenance shed. His vision zooms in on the keypad as the man inputs the code with his right index finger. The code was 58647391.

Having discovered the code, Devon presses the numbers in on the keypad. The light changes from red to green and a click is heard from the door. The shed was now unlocked.

"Yes!" Devon says smiling

With the shed unlocked, Devon pushes the door handle down and pulls the steel door open as he and Raika head inside. Once they were in, the young teen shuts the door behind him and glances around at the shed's interior. Inside were dozens of specialized equipment for Jurassic Park's Rangers and Veterinarians, most of which were kept on metal shelves at the far end of the shed. On the middle shelf was a tazer rifle, a compressed air pistol, a scoped bolt-action tranquilizer rifle, a cloth belt that held MORO-709 darts, and a yellow and black carrying case that contained more darts. There was also bundles of cables for the paddock fence, hundred-pound bags of cement and fertilizer, fire extinguishers, flashlights, and cardboard boxes that took up space on the shelves as well as the floor. In the back right corner was a stack of spare tires for a Jeep, some work lights, and two five-gallon barrels of motor oil.

Despite all the equipment that was stored, there was plenty of space for the Keyblade Wielder and his Velociraptor companion to rest up for the night. Devon walks over to the shelves of equipment and switches on one of the flashlights to add more light to the dark shed and make it more comfortable.

"Well, it's no luxury hotel room, but it's good a place as any. We should be safe in here." Devon says

Devon lets out a yawn.

"Huuuuuh... I sure hope Alan, Lex, and Tim found themselves someplace safe to rest. Hopefully, we can catch up with them tomorrow. Then, we need to get back to the Visitor's Center, and it's gonna be a long walk through the park." Devon says

Tired from all that has happened, the Keyblade Wielder walks over to the left-side of the shed and sits down on the concrete floor. Raika joins her human friend as he got settled. The Velociraptor lays down behind him with her body curled around his, her head down by his left-hand. She looks up at Devon for a moment, then slowly closes her yellow-green eyes as she sleeps. Devon gently strokes the back of Raika's head six times with his left-hand as she purrs with content, then leans back against her warm body and smooth scales and slowly closes his eyes, succumbing to slumber himself.

At the Visitor's Center, the Cretaceous Café stood dark with only a few candle lights keeping it slightly illuminated. It was a cafeteria intended for the tourists who came to Jurassic Park, which housed a buffet full of food like fruit, vegetables, pudding and ice cream, and many tables and chairs, surrounded by artwork with dinosaurs and amber. Even the columns were decorated, having a dinosaur skeleton fossil-like design carved into the concrete. The black and white mural in the dining area behind the buffet was actually a painting based on Picasso's 'Guernica'. But instead of humans, dinosaurs were in their place. Adjacent to the café near the left entrance was the Gallimimus Gift Shop that sold souvenirs, stuffed dinosaurs like Triceratops, Brachiosaurus, Spinosaurus, Parasaurolophus, and Tyrannosaurus Rex, T-shirts, pajamas, cups, books, candy bars, bubblegum sticks, and various other merchandise, all in Jurassic Park livery and coloring.

Ellie stood by a column in the café with her arms crossed, watching Hammond as he sat alone in a corner at a table, illuminated by a candlelight, eating vanilla ice cream from a bucket morosely. She walks over and joins him at the table, sitting all the way across from him on the opposite side.

"They were all melting." Hammond says

Ellie just stares at him silently for a moment before speaking.

"Malcolm's okay for now. I gave him a shot of morphine." Ellie says

Hammond adjusts his glasses, pushing them closer to his face with his left middle finger, and looks up at Ellie. He knew she was worried about Lex and Tim being stranded out in the park, not to mention Alan and Devon, who were also out there, struggling for survival.

"They'll be fine. Who better to get the children through Jurassic Park than a dinosaur expert and a Keyblade Wielder?" Hammond says

A pause fills the room as Ellie and Hammond sit silently. Then, Hammond speaks again.

"You know the first... attraction I ever built when I came down from Scotland... was a flea circus, Petticoat Lane. Really quite wonderful. We had, uh, a wee trapeze and, uh, a Merry-Go... um... A ca-carousel. Heh. And a seesaw. They all move, motorized, of course, but, uh, people would say they could see the fleas. 'Oh, I can see the fleas, Mummy. Can't you see the fleas?' Clown fleas and high-wire fleas and fleas on parade." Hammond says

Hammond trails off as he looks up around the room, at what he and his company have built in the last three years.

"But with this place... I wanted to show something that wasn't an illusion. Something that was real. Something people could... feel and touch. An aim... not devoid of merit." Hammond says

"But you can't think through this one, John. You have to feel it." Ellie says shaking her head

The old man smiles and points his left index finger at the Paleobotanist in agreement.

"You're right. You're absolutely right. Hiring Nedry was a mistake. That's obvious. We're overdependent on automation. I can see that now. Now, the next time, everything's correctable." Hammond says

"John..." Ellie says leaning back in her chair and rolling her eyes

"Creation... is an action of sheer will. Next time, it'll be flawless." Hammond says pointing again with the same finger

"It's still the flea circus. It's all an illusion." Ellie says spreading her hands in gesture

"When we have control again-" Hammond says holding up his left-hand in a determined fist

"You've never had any control! That's the illusion! I was overwhelmed by the power of this place! But I made a mistake too! I didn't have enough respect for that power and its out now! The only thing that matters now are the people we love. Alan, Lex, Tim, and Devon. John, they're out there where people are dying." Ellie says

Hammond stares at Ellie, seemingly struck by her words.

"So..." Ellie says wiping away the tears from her right-eye with her right-hand

"It's good." Ellie says smiling a bit

"Spared no expense." Hammond says with a warm smile

Author's Note: Finally finished with this chapter. I apologize for the long wait. I've been so preoccupied at both home and work more than ever that I've barely had any time to work on this story. Plus, this was a big chapter. Not to mention there was an email alert glitch going on this past two months, so any reviews posted during then I might've missed. So far, it looks like it's now fixed cause I'm seeing them pop up in my email. And just to be clear, begging me to update my stories and publish chapters is not going to help in any way, shape, or form, and I don't need that kind of pressure! I am working on my stories as fast as I am able and ensure that they are good, and they will come out when they are done! You know, there is the saying: Patience is a virtue, and if none of you have any of that, then don't even bother saying anything on the reviews! And Arika do me a favor, stop with the reviews. I've had to put up with them thus far, but now it has to stop. I'm removing them because I don't want to see them anymore. I would've thought that'd be obvious by now. So, I am asking you nicely and calmly to please stop. And to D-Dawg, all those repetitive reviews, those gotta stop too because those are the only ones I ever see compared to everyone else's reviews. If I see anymore, I'm deleting them. Anyways, lots of things happening on Isla Nublar. The tropical storm, the Embryo Heist, the Park Shutdown, and the most infamous scene from Jurassic Park: The T-Rex Breakout! Dennis Nedry is killed by a Dilophosaurus, the Barbasol can with the dinosaur embryos is lost, Ian is rescued by Ellie Sattler and Robert Muldoon, while Devon, Alan, Lex, and Tim are left stranded out in the park. Time for a Walk in the Park. Let me know what you guys think. No flames please. Hope you guys like and don't forget to review!
