"You know Summer Break's coming up for our family. The kits are probably excited for adventures like what you and Groot did when he was lil and Summer came up as Groit was telling them about your summer adventures." Rocket heard Nebula telling him. It was early morning but Nebula and Rocket were having some snuggle-time but after a bit and falling asleep, feeling little fangs bite his toes made Rocket's eyes open seeing their kits had been cuddling with him and Nebula but they always bit his furry toes every morning which Nebula explained was out of love to Rocket.
"Groot Morning guys and see you slept well. Mommy and I were talking about Summer." he told them.
"Cool, as kids in our class are talking about their summer plans so hope we're gonna do fun stuff too like uncle Groot told us." Elroy said seeing his sibs agreeing making Nebula grin. She loved seeing them excited plus had heard aboht day-camp from so e of the other parents at Xavier's guessing Rocket would be okay with that instead of the sleepaway one so were getting them up to start the day going downstairs for breakfast making Rocket chuckle getting up stretching checking his emails seeing one from NASA about space camp knowing Herbie and Sputnik would love that so would talk to Nebula about that before telling Herbie and Sputnik heading downstairs.
Nebula was surprised that Rocket had gotten an email about space camp knowing Herbie and Sputnik would love it so could talk to them about it, when they came home from school later making Rocket grin knowibg what their answer would be seeing Nebula pat his shoulder gently with her paw. "Let's go about ohr day honey, and see your back's not bothering you." she told hin as they were having coffee and relaxibg enjoying their together time without their kits knowibg with school ending for Summer, they might not get a lot of together time like this making Rocket grin."Yeah, the meds and everything helps, includihg the recliner honey." he told her.
"Relax Herbie, Sputnik, Spirts Day is gonna be fun, so don't worry so much, maybe you can apply science to it." Elroy reassured Herbie and Sputnik. Their teacher had told their class about Sports Day which made Elroy and Luna happy like the rest of the class except for Herbie and Sputnik who were worrying about it as they weren't very sporty but loved playing games. "Not with mom and dad watching us you know." Sputnik said as they were waiting for their mom to pick them up. It was the end of the school day so the kits were in the pickup area waiting for Nebula to pick them up so were talking about the day's events especialky Spirts Day making Herbue and Sputnij frowning knowing they wouldn't be bringing home trophies like Elroy and Luna seeing Nebula pull up in the car "So how was school guys." she asked them after they'd buckled themselves in.
"Good, plus Sports Day's comibg up which is gonna be awesome but Herbie and Sputnik don't think so." Elroy tokd her making Herbie glare at him as he and Sputnik were quiet in the backseat while their brother and sister were telling their mom stuff making them relieved when they got home hugging their dad only Rocket sensed something was bothering Herbie and Sputnik but understood after Nebula told him asking them why they were worried about Spirts Day.
"Because we stink at spirts and you and mommy will be watching." Herbie said seeing Sputnik nodding in repky.
"First off that was funny how you told me but that's okay you're not good at spirts as everybody has strengths and weaknesses and when the science fair cones up, you two are gonna be the kings while yoyr brither abd sis are gonna be nervous. Mommy and I don't care if you win or don't win as you're havibg fun but doing your best." Rocket told them. This made both Herbie and Sputnik relax but then were excited as their dad told then about space camp making Elroy and Luna happy for them seeing them accepting their mission making Nebula grin as it was sweet knowing that she, Elroy and Luna could have some together time while Herbie, Rocket and Sputik were at space camp. "I'll enroll them after we put them to bed." Rocket told Nebula.
