Sam and Max Freelance Police Chapter 12
The Final Showdown
We come back into the machine room where we see it's badly damaged and the room is also the same same way, some of it was on fire. Gwen and Max were panting and recovering from the explosion blow back
Slick Jim coughs as he recovers and said, "That was not cool."
"Hey, are you okay?" Gwen asked Sam seeing he were okay
"I think so?" Sam coughing rolling his arm joint
"Max, are you hurt?" Gwen asked
"No, I'm good" Max said in reassurance.
We then see Boomtower getting up having recovered from being knocked out earlier. However some mechanical noises get everyone's attention as the machine's reconfigure laser was still intact and active and it was aimed at Boomtower
"Huh?" Boomtower said and scream as the laser hits him, and he was now small and dressed like Tinkerbell. Seeing himself he screams and flies away
Slick Jim seeing it laughs at that but then notices the laser point at him and activate all it's lasers "Uh-oh. Hey!" He then grunts as the lasers fires many shots at him changing his body parts over and over forcing him down
"Oh." Gwen said watching this disturbed and Sam and Max were also disturbed but couldn't look away as they couldn't see what it was changing Slick Jim into.
"Ugh! And it smells too." Sam points out
In the control room Captain Mechamorph recovers and removes a piece of glass from him
"Stupid glass. Okay I'm out." The corrupt captain said and sees Goddard's unconscious body "But I am taking this as insurance." He then forms around the robotic dog and runs out room to escape
"Mechamorph, he's getting away with Goddard as well." Sam said seeing it
"I'm on it." Gwen said getting up and chases after him
After she left there was rumbling in the room as from where Slick Jim was a figure emerged it had a right leg of XLR8 from Ben 10, Gantu's left leg, left arm had Vader's armor shoulder plate and a cannon bazooka from Crash Bandicoot, his right arm was the Hulks arm, the main body was Bowser's with Jim's shirt worn around it and also Mojo Jojo's cape but the head looked like Donkey Kong with General Skunkape's colouration and Dick Dasterdly's moustache.
This is what the machine turned Slick Jim into, he was now FrankenJim. He looks at Sam and Max and delivers a "Ooh." Sounding like an Ape
Sam and Max looks at this in disbelief and the dog said "Huh."
"Jimmy going to smash!" FrankenJim said sounding like Hulk as he swings his Hulk Arm down on them and the duo dodge and run to avoid him
"Run." Max cried out as they ran to escape the mutant villain
FrankenJim arms his Bazooka that loads up a Suzie 9MM from Conker who said "I'm right here! Just tell me where to shoot!" and open fires on the two
Sam and Max avoid the shots and Sam seeing a ramp to a hole they can get through said "Hey up there!"
FrankenJim slams into the ramp as they ran up and laughs like the Wicked Witch of the West which then turned into Zurgs voice as he said "You Imbiciles!" He resumes firing his bazooka
Sam and Max scream as they fall down a shaft and land in total darkness. Max finds a door and pushes it open to a bright light and when vision cleared, they found themselves on what looks to be a set of a city of Jump City and while the characters look like the Teen Titans they were vastly altered to appear different
"Uh, where are we?" Max asked confused
"Goo-ba!" The Cyborg looking one said pumping his fist
Sam sees a sign and read it "Adolecent Giants? Ugh!"
However there time to process this came to an end as tearing open the backdrop was FrankenJim which spooked our heroes and the people working the set as the scream
"Keep going!" Max said in a panic as he and Sam ran to get away
"Four words! Dog and rabbit soup!" FrankenJim said sounding like Zurg
They then ran by a set that resembled the Cul-De-Sac from Ed, Edd and Eddy with reconfigured versions of the characters of that show.
"I guess they were making the bootleg movies and shows here the whole time!" Sam deduces from this "Not overseas!"
Meanwhile in the dockyard, Gwen made it outside in her pursuit of Captain Mechamorph who was now merged with Goddard so he was now extremely dangerous so she remained on guard
"Captain?" Gwen called out and heard someone mechanical dash by her and looks to see no one there. She reached for her gun but remember it wasn't in her holster. She kept moving "It's all over. Just give yourself up. Hello?"
Captain Mechamorph still merged with Goddard yells and jumps grabbing Gwen and slams her against a shipping container repeatedly as she tried to fighting him off
"Now then…" Mechamorph said and he upgrades Goddards hand to a spiked fist and moves to punch her only for it to stop and he can't move it. "What the…?"
Mechamorph's head comes out of Goddards to look at it and the fist turns and repeatedly punches the captain in the face making him stumble back letting Gwen go. The robotic body clutches his head as Mechamorph groans in pain. It was like he was fighting himself
Gwen seeing this realizes Goddard was trying to fight off Mechamorph's control. Using this to her advantage to quickly run away.
Meanwhile back in the Bootleg studio sets, Sam and Max have made it onto a set that seemed to be like Aladdin which was filming the Prince Ali scene sort of.
"Hey, get outta of the way you squishies!" Nefarious dressed like Prince Ali called out as he was on a flying carpet and Sam and Max run "Move it! You're messing things up here!"
Just then FrankenJim grabs him and tosses him aside and said in his normal voice "Coming through!" He fires his bazooka again.
"Quick grab on!" Sam said as he jumps for the carpet and Max grabs onto him
The move and are flung over the place set piece to miner safety and run along with the stageset crew as FrankenJim bursts through and then roars like a T-Rex in that familiar scene from Jurassic Park.
Meanwhile with Gwen, she manages to find a large shed which she runs into and locks the door, she was in a room full of tools and equipment. She looks around the room for anything to use and finds a fishing spear
Just then Mechamorph slides part of him under the door that moves up and undid the lock and lets him in as Gwen was getting the spear
"Yoo-hoo!" Mechamorph said walking in. Gwen hurls the speak and it hits him "Oh, nice try." He said pulling the spear out and tosses it aside and extends his arm to grab her tripping her.
Gwen panics but sees one of his fingers pointing to the right. She sees some electro cables and a fire extinguisher, why they were she didin't know but she wasn't complaining
"You know, I'm…" Mechamorph said getting close but his whacked in the body by the fire extinguisher and Gwen uses the cables to electrocute him forcing him to get off of Goddard's body, leaving the robot to fall to the ground disabled "Oh! That really smarts!"
"Let's finish this." Gwen said glaring
Mechamorph charges and they battle. The alien wraps an arm around her. She grabs a cage and forces it down on his head and kicks him back to the wall but his arm detaches and was still tight around her neck as she collapses
"Poor, sweet little Gwen." Mechamorph said getting the cage off. "You never should've been a cop in the first place." He retrives the spear and upgrades it to be more deadly "Any last words? What? I can't here you. No? Okay. Bye, bye, you're dead." He goes to charge but his leg is grabbed. He sees it was by Goddard "Let me go you hunk of junk!"
Using this Gwen grabs the fire extinguisher and uses it on Mechamorph who's body beings to freeze solid and the leg Goddard had hold of breaks off.
"Hey Mechamorph. Don't be so fragile." Gwen said saying the words he used on her earlier. She then flicks him, and he collapses and breaks into pieces. She then goes and helps Goddard up who licks her "Good boy. Help me clean this up?"
Goodard nods and his gets a hoover out his arm.
Meanwhile Sam and Max managed to make out to the docks with FrankenJin still hot on their heels. They keep moving till they hit a dead head being the water
"No!" Max said shocked
"There's no where to go!" Sam called out "We're trapped!"
They move to hide behind some crates as FrankenJim called out "I'm gonna find you! Come out, come out wherever you are!" He laughs
Max groans "This is bad. Come on. Use that big old brain of yours, Sam, think."
Sam thinks and looks and sees a crane that has a net full of crates and the button was not too far from where they were "That's it!" He said.
"Episode 325." Both of them said
Max grabs a pipe and hands it to Sam "Here, it worked on Skunkape. Hit me."
"No. This time you hit me." Sam told Max
"Are you sure?" Max asked him
"Yeah. Come on." Sam said nodding and they get into position under the hanging crates "Get right under it. Now do it."
"Okay, here I go" Max said and whacks Sam on the head with the pipe
"Ow!" Sam groans rubbing his head "I can't believe we used to do this to you every other week."
Max looks around but couldn't find any flying bananas "Come on, where are they?" He said concerned
Meanwhile in a little house a small banana that can fly was sleeping and his phone was buzzing
His wife wakes up and said annoyed and tired "Oh come on George. It's the middle of the night. Just ignore it."
"We've been through this, Gina." George said getting up "It's my job. Do not peel me right now."
Back at the docks the two were worried as they haven't arrived yet
"It didn't work. You have to hit me again." Sam told Max
"All right." Max said nodding and hits Sam again with the pipe
"Ow!" Sam goarns in pain
Just then FrakenJim grunts plowing through some stuff and spots them "There you are."
"Enough playing around, my turn." Max said handing Sam the pipe "Here, give it a good whack." Sam does so whacking him on the head "Oh!"
"Okay, things are getting weird." FrankenJim said and laughs as he uses his XLR8 leg to roll towards the two
"This isn't good." Max said worried as they see him approach
However just as he was about to grab him the flying bananas arrive and circle around Sam and Max's head making him stop
"Huh?" FrankenJim said and licks his lips "Bananas. Come here!" He tries to grab them and the duo run to get the button
"Almost there." Max said as they move up to reach it. Theyu nearly get it but it was too high for Sam to reach by jumping. They then hear a gun firing and see FrankenJim had scared the banana's away
FrankenJim smirks aiming his Bazooka at them and said "Goodbye, Sam and Max" Just then a searchlight shines on him "Huh?"
"This is the CIA." Gex is heard on a megaphone while in a helicopter marked as CIA "We've got you surrounded!"
"Yeah! Way to go Gex!" Max cheered, guess he wasn't lying about his new show after all
FrankenJim screams and open fires at the helicopter that avoids it "Take that!" He called out
"Go, go, go, go!" Sam said ready to give Max a boost who gets on and is thrown up "Come on, Max! Hit it!"
"Got it!" Max said as he grabs the crane remote and hits the button that releases the crates
"Huh?" FrankenJim said and sees what is approaching him and screams he then gets out a tiny umbrella and gulps as he is crushed under it all
"Yeah!" Max cheers laughing
"Yes!" Sam cheered as well
Gex laughs and says on the Megaphone "See! I told you I had a show, Max!" He laughs and chokes "Oh! Dammit, I think I swallowed a fly the wrong way" He coughs
"Whoo! We're the smartest dog and rabbit on the planet!" Max cheers
More CIA agents arrive to apprehend FrankenJim as Sam and Max get out the way and dance in celebration
"You thought you could beat us?" Sam said in excitement "Ha!"
"Don't you know who we are?" Max said as FrakenJim begins to slowly wake up
The two then sing "Sam and Max! Freelance Police!" and do the themesong
As the CIA get FrankenJim up he shakes off the agents and aims his bazooka arm at the two and fires one last shot at Sam.
Max sees this and says in slow motion "No!" He jumps in the way, and it collides with him knocking him back and he falls onto the ground
"Down, down on the ground!" A CIA agent said to FrankenKin as she and other agents secure him
"All right, all right. Calm down" FrankenJim said to that as he is cuffed
But that didn't matter to Sam, he was looking shocked as Max lay on the ground, He then goes to him.
Oh no Max. What's going to happen only one chapter left
