Makoto Naegi: Completing the Mission Chapter 7B
Route: Pardoned Palls
"AH!" Nicole yelped as he ended up back in the void "Ow...what happened?"
She looks at the console that laughed in Monokuma's voice "Retry Deninied!"
"What the…? Monokuma explain!" Nicole saiod angry
"Oh I am sorry, I ain't letting you get this second ending easily you want it. You have to go through it all over again."
"Grrrr...Fine….I will do it" Nicole said, it would be a pain but she will do it anyway she hits the same buttons again and launches it.
We open in the jungle where we see the escaped five in there stolen car driving through the jungle. They were heading to somewhere Ruby figured they'll be safe from the Frieza forces.
As Emerl drove the hood wearing girl said, "I understand to you guys it's been a long drive, but we're almost there."
"Where are we going exactly?" Brass asked curious
"You three have heard of the Legion of Doom right?" Emerl said as he drove "Well they have a secret base out here in the jungle"
"There the only non-government force that Frieza won't mess with so I figured now we're on the run they'll let us join up." Ruby added with a smile
"Errr...I am not sure they will like seeing me or Makoto" Nicole admits
"Yeah, we kind of have a rough history with the Legion of Doom" Makoto admitted nodding
"I am sure we can sort it out." Brass said being optimistic
"Either way, there base should be around the cor..." Emerl began but then saw something that shocked him
There was a tank that came round the corner but not just any tank, one bearing the emblem of the Frieza empire driven by a man named General Veers
"Wha? Oh, snap quick Emerl do something!" Ruby said shocked
"Right hang on!" Emerl said and drove the car over the cliff
Veers seeing them gets on comm "Lord Frieza, I have found them. Just as you predicted that brought the car here"
Frieza using his scouter, as we last saw him, he was now wearing a robotic mouth mask and has a scar on his face due to when Ruby knocked his away.
"Excellent, I am on my way" Frieza said his voice being a bit robotic due to the mask. "Send in the whole squad to engage!"
Veers drove the tank to the Legion base and looks ahead to see Republic forces also attacking the base. He reported in "It seems some other government is here, Republic, I think. They are fighting with the Legion of Doom"
"As much as I would like to wipe two of my biggest rivals for planet wide conquest, don't bother with them. Let them squabble over their own feud, just focus on Makoto, the girl, the Lynx and the two robots" Frieza instructed him.
We see that the heroes had landed somewhat safely, the car had landed and crashed in the centre of the parking lot of the Legion base.
Ruby helping Makoto up "You, okay?"
"Yeah, ow...somewhat. Where are we?" Makoto asked
"Well...kind of in the middle of a war triangle" Brass said as indeed they were
The Legion members were protecting their main building of their base at the top, on the left the Stormcage forces were there ready for anything and on the right were the Republic forces
One Republic upon seeing the Frieza forces said "Wait? Hang on, who are these guys? I think the Legion is bringing in reinforcements! Get them!"
"Oh, we have to get out of here, we're sitting ducks!" Ruby said holding back on Crescent Rose for now
"Get the prisoners!" General Veers ordered from his tank
"Open fire!" The Republic Soldier ordered his men
"Oh, have you got anything?" Brass asked Nicole and Emerl
"I have two things, but they won't do much" Nicole said holding up a rope and a N64 controller
"Same here" Emerl said showing an RPG rocket launcher and some wings
"Why don't we do like in that hallway, combine two together to get out of here" Brass said
"That might work" Ruby said "But which work well together"
"Hmmmmm" Makoto thought
Controller + Wings
"Okay lets do this" Ruby said holding the wings
"Yeah!" Makoto said with the controler
They fuse the two and the controller with wings flies off into the sky and the two look dumbfounded, they didn't really think that one through
"Thank you wings, very cool!" Nicole said smiling
"Well, let's try what we have left" Emerl said
Rope + RPG
The group tie the rope to the RPG and nod to Emerl "Throw it!" Ruby said
"Got it!" Emerl said and throws it into the air. Makoto pulls the rope which pulls the trigger, unfortunately the RPG was pointing down and fires the rocket at them killing them all
Nicole in disbelief said "What...was the plan exactly…?" She then resets it all
Controller + RPG
"Hey, my RPG has a socket for a controller" Ruby said noticing
"Awesome let's do this" Makoto said plugging the controller in
Ruby then fires the rocket and Makoto controls it making it go up and down. General Veers seeing this gets in his tank, he aims it at the group and fires killing them
"Wrong kind of RPG for a controller. Still gave you control though!" Nicole said and resets
Rope + Wings
The group fuse the wings with the rope, and it flies up as the five hold onto the rope and manage to escape the three way fire fight
"I can't believe that worked!" Brass said surprised
"Well, it was a good suggestion from you Brass on using two together" Emerl said
"Now what?" Makoto asked
"Let's try and get up to the..." Ruby began to say but a Republic airship knocks into them sending them into the support tower connected to the rocket
On the helicopter there were two soldiers Tsuzuku and Shogan two good friends influenced by Chinese and Japanese cultures see them
"Five enemies! Towards the launch tower!" Tsuzuku called out
"Well let's get them!" Shogan said
The group crash through window of the tower Makoto and Nicole bouce to the end of the hall while Ruby, Emerl and Brass were knocked out by the window.
Makoto recovers and hearing the copter hides with Nicole
Tsuzuku and Shogan swing into the room and Shogan aims his sword at the unconcious three "Got three of them here bro"
"Nice! Looks like all that training we went through was worth it" Tsuzuku said smiling
"Yeah, instructor Jorgan was tough, screw up in his training in any way you were out" Shogan said with a nod
"Anyway, where are the other two? I swear one of them was that Makoto guy Scout raves about" Tsuzuku said but he wasn't sure."
"I have to help get Ruby and co free" Makoto said to Nicole
"I have three items" Nicole said showing them A small time machine watch, a disguise kit and a CorrupTick
CorrupTick
"You sure on this?" Makoto asked holding the tick
"Not really but, let's try it" Nicole said
Makoto places it on the ground it walks a bit and whe it bit the ground the world began to glitch out. Walls change pallet, Tsuzuku T-poses, etc before it went dark.
Nicole groans seeing her by the console again "What the?" He turns it on and is created with the following message
'Completing the Mission encountered an error…
Returning to previous location'
Confused Nicole hits Okay and re-enters the area however it was...different
The group was flying up the tower when Makoto said "Let's try and get up to the..." They were then hit by the helicopter
"Five enemies! Towards the launch tower!" Tsuzuku called out
As the group fell to the window Nicole noticed the over four T-posing and still so as they crashed through. She then sees Tsuzuku and Shogan gliching in the window where there was no window.
She gets freaked out when a figure with a gun head enters and fires a noise and jumps when Tsuzuku appears only saying the same thing up close to her
"I...uh...I think something went wrong." She said and immediately resets it all. She then threw away the item, no way is she using that again
Disguise Kit
Makoto holds out the disguise kit looking for the right one "Here we are" Makoto said and selects it and smoke surrounds him
Shogan was busy arresting Ruby, Emerl and Brass while Tsuzuku stand guards and sees someone approaching and he looks is confusion
Makoto walks in wearing a paper mask with a crude republic trooper face on it. He waves to Tsuzuku and said "Hey brother"
"Are you serious?" Tsuzuku asked dead panned "That isn't going to work it is pathetic really" He then punches Makoto knocking him out
"Oh, that's very convincing." Nicole said and resets
Time Machine
Makoto holds it and recalls what those soldiers said "If I can prevent them from become soldiers it will save those guys"
"Alright, let's do it" Nicole said nodding
Makoto holds the watch and sents it on the backwards part and then zooms through the time stream
We then come to 2 years in the past where we see Tsuzuku and Shogan standing together in a line up
There instructor a cather soldier named Alec Jorgan addresses them "Cadets, you are now one month into your training. This is only the beginning; it will only be harder..."
Just then a stoneis thrown hitting Shogan's head. He rubs it and glares and said "Hey why did you hit me Tsuzuku!" he attacks his friend
"Hey! I did no such thing!" Tsuzuku said angry and begins to attack him as well
Jorgan seeing this glares and said "Tsuzuku! Shogan! You two are not fit for combat duty! Or ever will!" The other cadets turn to look at the two "I will personally see to it you are both discharged from the…"
We see the cause of the stone being Makoto hiding behind the bush who smiles and returns the present
Back at the present we again see the five hanging from the rope, Ruby saying "Let's try and get up to the..." They were then hit by the helicopter only this time no one else was on it who sees them.
The crash through the window of the launch tower and due to no one coming into apprehend them they all recovered
"You all good?" Ruby asked everyone
"I'm fine" Brass said and Emerl thumbs up
Makoto nods "Yeah I'm good" He smiles his altering the past slightly worked with no serious backlash.
"Good, let's move!" Nicole said nodding
They then made there way up the stairs a computer voice said "The rocket will be launching in: Two minutes"
Ruby pants as they climbed the tower and she said "Once we to the top of this tower, we'll cross the bridge and be on the rocket."
"I hope the Legion of Doom will let us join, despite Makoto's past misdealing with them" Brass said smiling
They soon reach the bridge and begin crossing
However a Frieza force Soldier named Blueberry who forgot to take off the snow armour before coming to the jungle and has run up some stairs pants. He sees them on the bridge and activates his scouter
"I see them, they're here on the bridge General. You can open fire!" Blueberry said
"Understood, commencing firing!" Veers said and gets in the tank and aims the cannon at the bottom of the bridge and fires
The tank shot hit the bridge but most made it across the only one who didn't was Makoto who was reaching out to Ruby as time slowed down a bit
"Makoto! Think fast I have three options" Nicole said as Makoto was moving through the air. Block, Grapple or Catch Ruby's hand.
Do nothing
Unfortunately Makoto didn't make his mind up and ends up falling down to the ground below
"Well...there he goes" Emerl said shaking his head
"He never was a quick thinker" Brass mentions
"Dang! He ain't gonna be in Makoto 7" Nicole said and resets
Catch
Makoto grabs both of Ruby's arm but unfortunately all that did was the gravity force pulls her down with him sending them both screaming down below
Blueberry watches from the other said and said "Huh...that was...that was easier then before"
"Fatso" Nicole said sighing and resets
Grapple
Emerl gets a grapple gun out "I got this!" He said fires unfortunately this sent Makoto to be embedded in the tower by his hand.
Makoto looks at his hand and then screams out in pain "AHHHHHHHH!"
"Not smart Emerl..." Brass said
"Makoto will remember that" Nicole said and resets
Block
Nicole makes a block appear where Makoto will be so bounces off it and makes it to the other side safely.
"Phew close one" Makoto said
"Let's go quick" Ruby said and the group head to the rocket
The group runs through the rocket and soon come to an elevator just as Lex and Deathstroke come out
"Quickly! We have to get this rocket moving before..." Lex Luthor said
"Huh? Hold it!" Deathstroke said seeing the group and gets between them and Lex and draws his handgun "You're not Legion of Doom members!"
Brass and Makoto raise their hands at that Ruby however begins to negotiate "Nonono. We're here to join you! We're wanted just like you, the one after is Frieza and his army."
"Frieza? I thought those none Republic forces looked familiar and no way they ally with each other." Deathstroke said
"Hang on..." Lex said looking at Makoto "You're the kid who stole our Ruby as well as taken the Kyogre Sapphire before we could"
"Errr...yes...that is me" Makoto said nodding
Lex thinks on this "Despite your unorthodox luck you do have some skills...We'll let you join, just so long as you return the ruby to us, you can keep the sapphire I suppose as a fair compromise."
"Well, I guess it is better than nothing" Makoto said with a shrug
"Oh, I don't know I think I have a better one!" Frieza said appearing his finger beam charged. With him was Ginyu his arm in a sling still broken from the prison break "No body move!"
"Oh Frieza, your brother says hi, also that mask is much an improvement" Lex mocked with a grin
"Oh Lex, always so funny, unlike your hair but I will be taking these five. They belong to me!" Frieza said rolling his eyes
"Yeah, you're coming with us prisoners!" Ginyu said drawing an arm cannon
Just then a Republic airship appears and blasts a hole in the side of the rocket and Makoto could see who was flying it, it was Kirishima.
Kirishima gets on the comm "Hey, this is Kirishima, I am following up on the disturbance we saw at the bridge...yeah turns out the Legion of Doom leaders are here! Also I see Lord Frieza too…..Hang on is that Makoto and Nicole?!"
Seeing it was them he gets on the loudspeaker "Makoto, Nicole? Come on help me take down the Legion of Doom!"
"Wait you know that pilot?" Brass asked
"Yeah, he was an ally" Nicole said "He could probably get us pardoned by the Republic if we help them"
"What do we do Makoto?" Ruby asked they were at a tough choice
Makoto thought on it it was a tough choice they could go with their original plan and join the Legion of Doom, or they can ally with Kirishima and the Republic, or they could just go with Frieza and leave the Republic and Legion to fight among themselves or go with none of them.
The Stormcage (The Wall)
The group smiled sheepishly and backed up to Frieza and Ginyu while Lex and Deathstroke watch on awkwardly
"Well charmed to see you Lex, good luck dying" Frieza said as they leave he then glared at the group as they headed off "You all will never see the light of day again for as long as you live!"
We then hear machine gun fire a Kirishima fires at Lex and Deathstroke
We then cut to later at the Stromcage. We see Makoto and Ruby frozen in ice while Emerl and Brass were disabled
Nicole sighs shaking her head "If you can't leave 'em, join 'em." She resets
None
The group then nod to each other and jump out the rocket Makoto screaming. Ruby then pulls out Cresent Rose and stabs into the rocket side and holds on to it while Makoto holds her hand. Brass and Emerl hold onto Makoto's legs
"Okay...now what?" Emerl asked concerned
"Five….Four….Three..." The computer voice said nearing lift off
"Oh...well this is quite the predicament" Ruby said realizing she didn't think this through
The rocket then launches into space as the group held on. As soon as it reached space and launched the Space Station Makoto and Ruby had died from lack of oxygen while Brass and Emerl floated in space.
"Normally you want to be INSIDE the rocket when it goes to space." Nicole said
"True" Brass said with a nod. Nicole then resets
The Republic (The Government)
Makoto knew there was only one choice with this opportunity to make his mistake of accidentally betraying the Republic last time. He faces the Airship and waves Kirishima to pick them up
"Alright I'm coming, get in!" Kirishima said on the loudspeaker
"They're getting away! Ginyu!" Frieza called out. The captain nods and goes to attack the group
"Oh no you don't!" Deathstroke said as he goes to attack the group too
Ruby however uses her scythe to knock Ginyu away and onto Frieza and Emerl fights off Deathstroke and knock him away.
The airship gets close and the five jump on and it begins flying from the fall and heading to the launch tower.
"Okay good, but what now?" Brass asked getting in the co-pilot seat
"Relax I have a plan" Kirishima said smiling
"This isn't one of those crashing plans, is it?" Makoto asked concerned
"No, it's not" Kirishima said shaking his head. "We have to shoot out the support beams on the launch tower
"Good idea" Ruby said using Cresent Rose's sniper function and Makoto gets on the airship's miniturret
Kirishima nods and gets on the comms "All units, fall back I repeat fall back we're going in for the big play"
The group fires and destroys the support beams causing the rocket to drop down and fall on the Legion's base and explodes no doubt killing Lex, Deathstroke, Frieza and Ginyu in the process destroying it while the airship flies back to base camp
"Yeah! Nice work, all of you!" Kirishima said with a smile
"It's no problem" Emerl said nodding
"Better report it in" Kirishima said smiling getting on the comms while Makoto and Ruby sit and relax on the helicopter "This is Kirishima reporting to base. I got a couple of friends here with me. You'll never guess who they are."
Back at base Jace Malcom was surprised to see who it was Kirishima brought back that helped him. He said "Makoto?! Nicole?! Well...and if it isn't Ruby Rose and Emerl. We had both of you on our watchlist for a while."
"Wait really?" Emerl asked surprised
"Of course, your skills in causing trouble with Frieza's empire made us consider adding you to Republic roster along with Makoto's skills." Jace said with a nod "Well thanks for your help here today all of you. In honesty Makoto I didn't think we could trust you after last time"
"I am sorry about last time General Malcolm, but when I saw the Groudon Ruby I couldn't leave a gemstone like that in the Legion's hands" Makoto said with a nod
"Understood, but in honestly what you did here to weaken the Legion of Doom as well as Frieza being killed as well weakened two most dangerous factions on Earth so I can look past that" Malcolm said with a nod "I guess we owe you one"
"Well...now that you mention it..." Ruby said rubbing her head "We do have a bit of a criminal history problem..." Ruby was aware of Makoto's but Ruby's was more connected to the Frieza empire putting a wanted ad for her, but it still spread out of his territory
"Oh, some of my ex's lover's Jedi powers must of rubbed off on me cause I sensed that was coming" Jace said rolling his eyes "I suppose you earned a pardon."
After making it official everyone gathered at a restaurant with Kirigiri and celebrated it all happily Makoto and Ruby toasting each other on there victory
Nicole smiles happy at this ending she liked it more and nods.
