-Chapter 9:Meeting and Reunions Part 3-
Gohan was facing down two very familiar faces from his past who were now giving him very wide smiles. Looking up at the two, he realized that they looked exactly like they did back on Earth with no discernible changes to their forms.
"Been a long ten years brat!" Nappa said continuing to swallow down mouthfuls of sushi.
"I'll say!" Raditz continued as he cracked his knuckles threateningly.
Gohan sighed as he stared at the two with apprehension "I was wondering when I was going to start seeing you all down here.".
"Oh you hear that Nappa, he missed us!?" Raditz laughed ruffling the boy's head getting an annoyed groan from Gohan.
Nappa laughed while continuing to eat "You don't say, how's Vegeta doing by the way brat?".
"He's doing just fine, even started a family back on Earth!" Gohan said remembering that Vegeta was the reason why he was dead.
Nappa narrowed his eyes at the boy for a full minute before suddenly saying "Well that's great! I always said he needed to settle down eventually, and you are saying he even has kids! Maybe one day Uncle Nappa can go pay him a visit!".
This caused everyone to fall over comically as Raditz jumped up and grabbed him by the collar of his clothes "He's the reason why you died and are stuck down here! Doesn't that just piss you off Nappa!".
Nappa just stared at him before blankly saying "Nope my afterlife is fucking amazing down here!".
Raditz could not believe his ears "Nappa we finally have a way of getting our revenge and now you say you love it here!".
"Fuck yeah! I have my own apartment, a nice cushy construction job repairing buildings after the extermination, and the love of a beautiful imp lady!" Nappa said proudly as he thought about the love of his life.
"You have a fucking girlfriend!? Where the fuck was I during this time!?" Raditz questioned confused how he could live with the man but not know that.
Their conversation was interrupted as Gohan yelled out loud "What the Hell do you both want!?".
Nappa and Raditz jumped as at the boys voice before Nappa answered "I just wanted to say hi….I think he wants a rematch.".
"Well hello Nappa thanks for not being mad about what happened to you. And you Uncle…If you wanna fight then you'll have to wait a minute, I'm kinda in the middle of something." Gohan said as he turned back to Velvette.
"Yeah I'm something!" Velvette joked as she returned to her seat with Gohan.
Raditz scowled at the boy as he pick him back up by his shirt "Oh Hell no! If you hadn't have gotten in the way, I would have had a clear shot at killing the green man, and my brother! If you think you are getting out of here with a fight then you have another thing coming!".
Groaning loudly Gohan shot a look to Velvette "Do you mind if I take care of this Vel!?".
Velvette smiled at him as she answered "Only if I can finally start using my pet name for you.".
"Deal!" Gohan yelled as he used leverage to fling Raditz across the room and out of the door "I promise I'll make it up to you later.".
As Gohan flew after the downed Saiyan, Velvette called out "Kick his ass Spiky!".
Nappa simply stood there before looking at the boy's plate of half-eaten food "Well since he's not going to be back to finish this! So you are the boy's girlfriend…Brat's got taste!".
Velvette simply flipped him off "Piss off you overgrown ape!".
"I see you wear the pants here." Nappa laughed as Velvette just huffed.
-Out on the Streets-
After being thrown out of the restaurant Gohan was now in hot pursuit of Raditz who was still doing flips in the air. Flying up close to him, Gohan delivered a punch that sent Raditz sailing even further into the air. Every couple of second Gohan would punch him further into the air, not giving him a single moment to recover.
Suddenly Raditz flipped himself over and caught his fist before it could impact him again "Not bad Nephew, but it's my turn now!".
Without dropping the boy's fist he began powering up, as Gohan felt his power level raise to a level that was much higher than he remembered. At this point he could probably be on par with most of the Earth's fighters save for the other Saiyan's and Piccolo. Gohan was just glad that he was confined to Hell.
Raditz finished charging up and delivered a very heavy kick right into, Gohan's chest that sent him sailing straight into the ground. Now only was the blow strong enough to knock down the Half-Saiyan into the ground, but also caused a shock-wave to ripple throughout the entire block.
"Damn that sucked!" Gohan groaned as he picked pulled himself out of the imprint he left in the road.
Raditz floated back down to his level and laughed in the boys face "Well seems you are a lot stronger than you used to be brat, those punches actually hurt. But unfortunately for you so have I!" He finished as he kicked the boy again causing him to collide with a nearby limo that looked very familiar.
He bounced off the car just as it swerved and landing inside the same restaurant that Gohan was just eating in.
Spinning backwards Gohan managed to land on his feet as he quickly stared at the vehicle in worry "Charlie! Vaggie! Is that you in there!?".
Silence filled the air as not a single sound came from the car before with a loud groan the group inside slowly exited the vehicle.
"Gohan!" Charlie screamed as she was worried that they had injured the boy with the Limo.
Both Clara and Odette exited the car next as the watched Raditz fly at full speed toward the boy who wasn't paying attention "Gohan! Look out!".
Turning his head Gohan was punched at full speed by an energy clad Raditz who was putting as much power as he could into every punch.
Vaggie slowly began to crack her neck as she questioned the others "Who the Hell is that guy and what does he want with Gohan!?".
Nappa was suddenly standing behind her licking an ice cream cone as he answered for her "That would be the kid's Uncle. He still hasn't gotten over the fact that the boy helped get him killed.".
Charlie slowly blinked at the man "Um...Thank you Mister….?".
"Call me Nappa. I tried to kill the brat when he was younger. But now I realize that I was wrong!" Nappa said placing a hand over his heart.
Charlie eyes lit up "Does that mean you want to seek redemption into Heaven!?".
"Nah, my afterlife is pretty great right now. Besides my lady would kill me if I left her behind!" Nappa said as Charlie frowned at him with disappointment.
Meanwhile Clara, and Odette were now staring down the backbone of the Vee's herself.
"What are you doing here with him Velvette!?" Clara and Odette growled as the both stared down the girl.
"Well I was enjoying dinner with a nice guy, until those two meatheads had to ruin it!" Velvette whined as she pointed to Nappa.
Clara moved closer till she was close to her face "You know what I mean bitch! We saw you on the Camera forcing him to follow you and now he's being attacked! You expect us to believe that this is a coincidence!?".
"Well hello to you both as well sisters. I'll have you know that I was going to blackmail him, but after a nice conversation I decided to not do so. You can ask him yourself whenever her gets back form kicking the other one's ass!" Velvette snarled back at her younger sister.
"You expect us to believe that the Vee's have no interest in him!?" Odette snidely spoke crossing her arms at the fashionista.
"Maybe the do, maybe they don't! Maybe I have a personal interest in the boy myself. What's it to both you two and the old crone?" Velvette questioned with a bored tone.
The two girls both stared at each other with reddening faces as Velvette laughed in amusement "Hah you two skanks are in pining for his affections aren't you!?".
Hearing them talk Vaggie stomped over "It's doesn't matter what their intentions are, he belong to me and Charlie!".
"He's a person not a dog he doesn't belong to anyone except Lucifer!" Odette yelled at the fallen angel without realizing she let an important piece of information slip.
Slapping her hands over her mouth they all realized what she said before staring at Velvette.
"So the big man himself owns his soul….good to know for later!" Velvette said committing that bit of information for later.
"Good going four eyes!" Vaggie groaned at the youngest carmine sister.
"Don't talk to my sister like that!" Clara yelled getting in her face.
The rest of the group watched the four bicker as Nappa leaned over to whisper to Charlie.
"So all of you are wanting to be in the Brat's corner?" He asked as Charlie's face turned red.
Covering her face with her hands Charlie replied back "To make a long story short….yes.".
Nappa gave his ice-cream another lick as he continued watching the girls fight "He's a very lucky man.".
Angel Dust simply stared at the large man "Not as lucky as I could make you!".
Husk just slapped his own face in disgust as Nappa simply declined "Sorry lady I already have someone waiting for my love.".
"I'm a dude!" Angel Dust corrected with a grin.
"Double declined!" Nappa said while walking away.
-Back at the Fight-
The two Saiyans were now trading blows with each other as they flew through the sky above the city. Gohan could honestly say that he was impressed with how much stronger his Uncle had become since the last time he saw him. His blows actually stung his body every time he made contact.
Deciding to put some distance between the two Gohan grabbed onto Raditz's leg as he tried to kick him and dragon swung him as far as he could from him. He watched his body fly through the air and quickly began to charge energy into his hand.
Taking aim at the far off form of his Uncle he threw the ball of Ki as hard as he could and focused as the ball exploded as it made contact with him.
He floated silently as he tried to notice any form of movement so he could prepare for his next move. The silence made him worried as the mushroom cloud in the distance got smaller and smaller.
Suddenly from behind him a knee drove itself into his back, taking him by surprise.
"That was a nice little volley boy! Like I said before though I'm much stronger than I was back then!" Raditz said wrapping his arms around Gohan's neck to cut off his air flow. Applying as much pressure as he could he began using his knee to hammer, Gohan in the back repeatedly letting out all of his anger and rage "This is for causing me to lose that fight!" Kneeing Gohan again he continued screaming "This is for being a whiny little shit!".
He kept kneeing Gohan in the back as he let all of his anger and frustration over his life's failures "I'm not weak! I'm not a failure! I'm not worthless!".
Gohan was beginning to feel himself slip into unconsciousness as the blows continued to rain into his back "I have to do something, or I'm gonna die here!" He spoke in his head.
Thinking fast Gohan tightened his neck muscles and began drawing power into himself. As Raditz went to deliver another kick, Gohan yelled out in anger as he released a shock-wave of energy.
This sent Raditz flying back in surprise as Gohan's hair began to stand on end "I need to make sure not to go Super Saiyan here. There's no telling how much damage I could do to the city if I do. At the same time I have to use enough power to down Raditz!".
Calming himself slightly Gohan could once again hear the voice from earlier speaking to him "What does it matter if we break this stupid city apart!? These fuckers probably deserve the worse kind of death imaginable. Indulge us, and stop hindering us!".
"No I won't be the cause of any more suffering!" Gohan whispered to himself as he tried to keep his cool.
The voice laughed deep inside his mind "You'll be the death of us you fool! Then who will be left to save your little girlfriends from the other demons!?".
"Starting to get serious nephew!? I see you also have been doing a lot of training, that power is intoxicating!" Raditz said laughing with excitement.
Gohan angrily stared at the man as he calmed himself "Ever since you took me from my dad, my life has been just one battle after another! I hated fighting then, and I still do, but now I realize that if I try to keep myself out of fights then others pay the price instead.".
"A Saiyan that hates fighting, how laughable! It's in our blood boy, even if yours is diluted with dirty human blood. You were never going to live without bloodshed, and your an even bigger fool than your father if you think that it wasn't an inevitability!" Raditz yelled as he once again rushed the boy.
This time however, Gohan was ready for him as he dodge all of Raditz's strikes before they could make contact with him.
While Raditz had him on the back pedal just a few minutes before, Gohan was now expertly dodging every single strike to the man's dismay.
"Ah! Stay still you little rodent!" Raditz screamed in fury as he swung faster and faster.
"What's wrong Uncle, don't tell me that my impure blood is more than a match for your superior full blooded Saiyan might!?" Gohan laughed arrogantly as he kept zipping around Raditz's punches.
Roaring in anger Raditz put some distance between the two before Charging energy in both of his hands "Let's see how you handle this you bastard! DOUBLE SUNDAY!".
Raditz fired his signature move at Gohan with every last bit of energy he could muster, hoping to not only kill the boy but to fully disintegrate every last inch of him.
Closer and closer the beam traveled to Gohan before with a loud explosion it connected with the boy and lit up the sky with waves of purple energy.
The entirety of the Pride Ring stopped and stared at the light show taking place in the sky. Many of them believed this to be just a show as they had no idea that a battle was taking place above their very heads.
"Do you see now nephew!? This is the power of a real Saiyan, you should have known better than to fight against your betters!" Raditz yelled triumphantly as he believed he had won the fight.
Deciding to go find Nappa he turned and began to fly back to the place he had left him, when suddenly a chill ran down his spine.
Turning around he had just enough time to see a beam of energy pierce though his side as the sound of laughter filled the air.
"So you really think that weak little blast was enough to stop me!" A distorted voice called out as the spot where the blast exploded began to clear itself of the smoke.
To say Raditz was surprised would have been an understatement as he clutched his now bleeding side in pain.
"That blast had enough power to kill both your father and the green man a thousand times over! How in the Hell did you survive it!" Raditz yelled in disbelief.
Silence was his only answer as another beam flew out of the smoke and pierced his right arm caused the man to cough up more blood.
He realized that he needed to retreat a few moment to late as more blasts began to fire rapidly from the smoke as he did his best to dodge them. Unfortunately for every blast that he managed to dodge he was hit with three more, causing him to lose blood rapidly.
Finally the barrage stopped leaving Raditz a bloody mess as he could barely gather enough energy to stay in the air.
The smoldering blast point finally cleared away to show Gohan standing there with an almost sadistic look on his face. The horns on his head were now fully grown to match the appearance of both Charlie's and Lucifer's, with his hands now transformed into very sharp and elongated claws.
"Don't tell me you are done already Uncle!" Gohan said mockingly to the man.
Raditz did not know what to think of the boy who had now had a very demonic looking appearance "What the Hell are you!?".
Gohan simply stared at him with reddened eyes before teleporting in front of the man close enough to whisper "Your death!" Before grabbing him by the throat and flying as fast as he could to the ground where their fight began.
The speed that the boy was pulling him was enough to make the man's eyes water as soon he found himself being slammed onto the street by the boy's one arm, before being grabbed by his legs and slammed into random objects.
"This can't be the same whiny baby I kidnapped years ago!" Raditz thought as all of his senses exploded into pain "What the Hell happened to make him like this!?".
For minutes Gohan laughed as he flung the man through buildings, street signs, and other objects all with the intention of causing as much pain as possible.
Raditz could feel himself slip in and out of consciousness as he suffered multiple concussions.
"Come on Uncle, don't tell me that this is too much for you! I thought you wanted to make me pay!?" The demonic form of Gohan laughed as he continued to abuse the clearly beaten man "Alright I think it's time we end this!".
Picking the man up by his throat again Gohan stared him deep in the eyes as he lifted him up above him.
Gohan raised his clawed hand up and formed an arrow like shape clearly intending to pierce the man's throat.
"It's been fun Raditz, but unfortunately this is where it all ends!" Gohan cackled as the man gurgled out in pain.
Gohan pulled his arm back and was about to shoot it forward before he felt a sudden weight grab hold of his arm.
"Gohan please stop!" The voice of Charlie yelled as she wrapped herself around Gohan's arm in an attempt to stop him from finishing the deed.
"What!?" Gohan said angrily before looking down at the woman in question, and seeing her big tear filled eyes.
Charlie had long streams of tears pouring from her eyes as she stared the boy in his face "Please Gohan this isn't who you are! Don't bring yourself down to this level please! Come back to me!".
The sounds of her words caused something to resonate inside the boy. Staring down at the man who was now leaking blood from various wounds Gohan eyes returned to the regular color and he quickly let go of the defeated man.
"I...I'm sorry!" Gohan said as tears started leaking from his eyes "I don't know what happened!".
Angel Dust decided to make a snide comment when as he moved up close "What happened was you almost ripped this guys head off, and turned this block into a Rage Room!".
Gohan just stared down at his hand that were still fully clawed as he felt himself go numb. Feeling like a bright light had exploded behind his eyes the boy quickly passed out into Charlie's arms as the others gathered around them.
"Oh my Satan what happened!?" Vaggie screamed in worry as she helped Charlie support Gohan's weight.
"Something happened to Gohan that made him rage out! He almost killed the other guy if I hadn't stopped him!" Charlie said as Nappa ran over and picked up Raditz.
"Quickly the hospital is just a few blocks away, we need to get them both there quickly!" Nappa ordered as the others agreed that it was the best idea.
"Spiky almost killed your friend and you still want to help him!?" Velvette yelled in disbelief.
Nappa just gave her a look "Let's just say that compared to what we did to the kid back then, this is just the universe coming back to pay us back. Now come on!".
No other words were said as they took off down the street with Nappa carrying Raditz, and Charlie carrying Gohan.
-Nearby Hospital-
The entire group was nervous for obvious reasons. The doctors had quickly taken the two injured parties to get treatment, with Raditz receiving a considerably larger amount of help due to his advanced injuries from the boy.
Now they were all sitting in the waiting room as they waited for the doctor's to inform them any updates.
Angel Dust looked around the room and decided to crack a joke to lighten up the mood "Well at least we can say that now the kid's got that animal in him right!?".
Realized that was the wrong thing to say he quickly gulped as the women all shot him a killer glare and he quickly sat back down.
Charlie had been pacing around the room since they arrived in worry "I can't believe this is happening!".
Vaggie quickly moved to comfort her "Sweetie I know you are worried, I am too, but pacing up and down the room is definitely not the way to help him.".
Velvette crossed her arms and laughed "Yeah you making me anxious with all that moving around Princess.".
"Oh shut it bruja, Gohan wouldn't even be in this situation if you weren't blackmailing him!" Clara said angrily as her thoughts were filled with the boy's well-being.
"I told you already I stopped blackmailing him once we started talking! I had no idea that these two idiots were going to be waiting for him!" Velvette said staring daggers at her sister.
Vaggie was not in the mood for their arguing as she quickly snapped at the two "This is neither the time or place for your problems with each other! If you can't keep your calm till we find out he's okay then just get the hell out!".
The two pouted angrily while they crossed their arms and looked away from each other.
Charlie however noticed the spectacled sister sitting in the corning fighting back tears that she thought no one could see. Walking over to her she sat beside her and whispered over to her "Are you okay Odette?".
Odette was surprised that Charlie knew her first name but chose not to question it "I'm...I'm fine.".
Charlie chose to doubt her seeing the tears well up in the corner in her eyes "You don't have to pretend with me. I'm just as worried about him myself, I'm Charlie by the way.".
Odette looked at her for a moment and decided to confide in her for a moment "I'm Odette, but I'm guessing you already figured that out.".
"Yeah sorry about that, I just heard your sister say your name back at the tower. You must really care about his well-being if you are about to cry over him." Charlie said with a friendly tone as she watched the others still bickering.
Odette began twiddling her gloved thumbs together as she thought about the boy which seemed to bring a warm feeling over her chest "He saved my life just because he wanted to. I could never repay him for what he's done, but in return all he asked was my friendship. He's an amazing person, and I'm jealous that you get to have him all yourself.".
Charlie could hear the sincerity in her voice as she spilled her feelings. It was her last sentence that upset her slightly. She had been so caught up in her own relationship to Vaggie that she didn't even think that maybe Gohan might have wanted to form relationships of his own.
Sure they slept in the same bed and she gave him kisses on his head and cheek, but not once has she really tried to really do things that a couple would do with him. It made her feel like he was a shiny new toy and she and Vaggie didn't want anyone else playing with their new toy "Oh my Satan even my thoughts are objectifying him!".
She was going to have to have a very long conversation between them all about where they stood in this relationship.
Nappa decided to break the monotony with his own statement "Alright you guys stop with all this sad shit! These two are Saiyans, and everyone knows that when Saiyans come back from the brink of death they come back even stronger than ever!".
Husk confused on what the man was saying decided to question it "What the Hell are you talking about, and what the fuck is a Saiyan!?".
Nappa smiled as he began to explain "We Saiyans are the most supreme warriors in the entire galaxy! We were so powerful that the intergalactic dictator Frieza saw us as so much of a threat that he destroyed our home planet and killed the majority of our race just because he was afraid! But that bastard couldn't wipe us all out, and was even killed by the Brat's father just a few years ago!".
Angel Dust just stared at the man with a deadpan expression as he had to quickly question "You mean to tell me that fucking Aliens are real!?".
"Oh yeah, tons of different species of Aliens!" Nappa said as if it was common knowledge.
"And the kid is one of em!?" Angel Dust continued.
Nappa stared at him "Yeah and he's part human too.".
Angel then turned to Charlie "So that mean that you are dating a part alien, part human, crazy powerful super warrior!?".
Charlie didn't know what to say as she just replied with "Um...Yep!?".
"I don't feel safe living at the Hotel anymore." Angel simply stated as Vaggie pointed her spear at him "Case and point!".
Nappa had to look at the group as he pondered something "You know girly I have a question of my own.".
Stepping up to Charlie he looked her right in the eye "If the kid somehow managed to kick the bucket back up there, then why did he wind up in Hell? He doesn't strike me as the damned for eternity type of asshole.".
Charlie began to sweat as she remembered that Gohan wasn't actually dead.
"Also why did he get the Sinner look when all the rest of the souls like me stayed the same way were on Earth. We thought the big guy said we weren't allowed to gain anymore power than we already had. He said it was his way of keeping us in line!?" Nappa continued questioning as Charlie began to sweat harder.
"Um..You see...That's because… You have to understand that…What I'm trying to say is that!?" Charlie babbled out as the other looked just as interested to understand their difference.
Luckily she was saved as two doctor's came out to address the group.
"Who is the representative for Mister Son?" Came the voice of a goat demon as Charlie raised her hand and began to follow the doctor.
"I'm guessing you are here for Raditz, Mister Nappa?" The female demon asked as Nappa nodded.
Laughing Nappa walked over to her "Yeah that idiot bit off a bit more than he could chew this time!".
The nurse just sighed as she got him to sign the paperwork "This makes his fifty-fourth visit in the last five years, He might as well just move in!".
"I'll be sure to let him know that you think so!" Nappa laughed again as they walked to his room.
-Gohan's room-
Charlie finally arrived to the room that was designated as Gohan's and the doctor gave her instructions before entering the room.
"Alright Miss Morningstar, Mister Son is right inside. We have him hooked up to an IV drip and some pain medication to calm him down for the moment. He doesn't seem to be too injured, but he may have overexerted himself which led to the state you brought him here in.
"Will he be okay though?" Charlie questioned with worry.
The doctor cleaned his glasses before smiling at her "Do not worry my dear, he will be just fine! He's been waking up off in on since he's we've given him the pain medication but other than that he should be just fine.
"Thank you Doctor, I'll let you know if he needs anything!" Charlie said as she walked into the room.
As she walked into the spacious room she could see Gohan laying with his head against his pillow just staring out the window.
She slowly walked over to his bed before sitting gently on the edge of it "How are you feeling sweety?".
Snapping his eyes to her, Gohan was relieved to see that it was Charlie there with him "I feel terrible, Charlie.".
Charlie looked sadly at him before grabbing his hand and holding it in hers "Just so you know no one blames you for what happened out there. Not even Nappa!".
Gohan looked at her with surprise as he didn't expect that "I almost killed his friend and he says that it's not my fault!?".
"Yep, he even said that he and your Uncle deserved it for what they did to you as a kid." Charlie said gently stroking his palm with her thumb.
Gohan still looked troubled even with this revelation "Doesn't matter either way, it doesn't excuse what I almost did.".
"You weren't yourself out there honey! The claws, horns, and the eyes weren't how they usually were on you. Not to mention the things you were saying weren't like you!" Charlie said trying to reassure him.
"I don't even remember most of it, and that's the problem! I just remember getting knocked around by Raditz, and then hearing a voice in my head. Next thing I remember is you grabbing my arm and stopping me from trying to rip his head off." Gohan spoke growing more distressed by the second.
"A voice in your head?" Charlie asked not understanding what he meant.
Gohan thought for a moment and then repeated that part "Yes I heard a voice in my head. It was telling me to "Indulge myself no matter how much destruction I cause" right before I blacked out".
Thinking about it more Gohan seemed to remember hearing that same voice inside the restaurant with Velvette "When I was with Velvette I heard it tell me to tear apart some demon's that were coming onto her inside of the restaurant.".
"Maybe whatever the source of this voice is the reason why you went berserk?" Charlie asked wanting to help Gohan get to the bottom of this.
"I don't know but whatever caused it really made my body go through some more changes." Gohan said as he raised his hands to show her the claws and the long horns that were now sticking out of his head.
Charlie was instantly reminded of her demon form as she looked at his horns "First thing tomorrow we will go and see dad. Maybe he can figure out something about these changes.".
"Thank you Charlie, and I'm sorry I caused all this trouble for you." Gohan said hugging himself into her side.
Charlie wrapped her arms around the boy as she nuzzled him "You haven't caused me any trouble Gohan, why would you think that!?".
"The whole reason why I was even with Velvette, was because she had a video of me knocking Missi Zilla to the ground after I had a hunger blackout" Gohan explained "She said she was going to show the video to others if I didn't go with her.".
Charlie huffed as she heard that "Yeah she already said that she did that before she deleted the video. But you know what...I don't care either way. I know you wouldn't willingly do anything to hurt us, and not even a stupid video would make me see otherwise.".
"I bet Vaggie was pretty mad at me though." Gohan stated as he pressed his head into Charlie's chest.
"She was at first, but then we went to the Carmine's and found out the truth. She even said she wanted to apologize to you about it." Charlie said reassuring him.
Gohan was happy to hear that they both held no anger at him over the past day, and that they understood why he did what he did, at least concerning going with Velvette.
Charlie hugged him tighter before pulling back and staring him in the eye "Also I wanted you to know personally how sorry I am about treating you like a house pet. Me and Vaggie have been flaunting our couple status around you everyday and treating you like a pet. I think that ends now and we should really change how we act around you.".
"I don't mind Charlie, like I said before I don't want to come between you two and don't want you to have to change just for me." Gohan said trying to placate her.
"That's just it Gohan! You keep saying you don't want to make us change to make you happy, but you have been doing everything to keep us happy! I refuse to make you live like this and I'm going to make you see that." Charlie said looking deeply into his eyes.
"What do you mean Char…" He started but was cut off by Charlie grabbing his face and kissing him deeply on his mouth. Charlie continued this for a full minute before pulling back to let him breath.
Gohan face was a deep crimson as he stared at Charlie after the kiss was over "But...will Vaggie accept this!? I don't want her to feel like I betrayed her!".
Charlie giggled as she leaned into him and closed her eyes "That's just it sweety, I can tell she feels the same way. I've seen the way she blushes when we talk about you. Also it's not just her but I'll let you figure that out later.".
Gohan didn't understand what she meant about the last part but he was happy that Vaggie also liked him in some capacity.
"Do you feel well enough to go home sweety?" Charlie asked looking up at him.
Seeing that his IV-drip was empty and the pain medication was starting to wear off Gohan nodded at the girl as they sat in silence.
"Alright we will talk more about the three of us later. Right now I'm going to track down the doctor so we can get you discharged out of here." Charlie said happily as Gohan smiled back at her.
Before she could walk out the door however Nappa walked into the room with the other doctor in tow.
"There's the boy of the hour!" Nappa said as he and the female doctor moved closer to him.
"We were just about to get the Doctor to discharge Gohan out of here." Charlie said happily that the bigger man was in a chipper mood.
Nappa clapped his hands excitedly as he heard this "Perfect! Do you think you can swing by your Uncle's room before you go? He's awake, and wanting to talk to you!".
"I almost killed him and he wants to talk to me!?" Gohan said skeptically.
"We're Saiyan's kid not bitches! You won fair and square and he respects that, in fact we heard about your little predicament from the white haired chick. He believes we can be of service of that.".
Charlie looked at Gohan with concern "What predicament is he talking about?".
"That's what I wanna find out!" Gohan said as he sat up "Charlie find the doctor for me and we will find out.".
Giving him a salute she quickly walked out the door to find the doctor eager to find out what Nappa meant.
-A few minutes later-
Gohan had quickly gotten out of the hospital bed as soon as the doctor removed the IV from his arm, and prepared to follow Nappa down the hall.
"Are you sure he is in his right mind Nappa?" Gohan asked still skeptical that Nappa was telling the truth.
Nappa just smirked as he walked "Trust me kid, for him to be willing to do what he is planning means he is finally swallowing that pride of his. If Vegeta was here he would probably kill us both all over again!".
"But what are you guys planning to do!" Gohan asked getting annoyed by the secrecy.
"Just keep your pants on brat! Trust me it will be better to hear it from his mouth, rather than mine." Nappa said still smiling.
Finally they arrived outside of Raditz room as Nappa knocked on the door.
A raspy voice yelled from the inside "Enter!".
Opening the door for the door, Nappa just gestured for the boy to go in.
Sighing Gohan quickly entered as Nappa followed behind while whistling as he did so.
The room was basically a mirror image of the one he was just in, and to the back of the room Gohan could see the heavily bandaged form of his Uncle laying in his hospital bed.
"Hey Raditz look who I brought!" Nappa called out happily as he pushed the boy closer to him.
Raditz turned his head to his friend and groaned out "Must you be so loud you big, bald, moron!?".
"Yep, because I was a good boy, and didn't get my ass stomped!" Nappa said with a teasing tone.
Groaning again Raditz turned his head towards Gohan "Gotta say I didn't think that you were going to thrash me this badly brat!".
Gohan bowed his head as he apologized "I'm sorry about that...I don't know what happened to me exactly!".
Raditz scowled in his bed as he head his apology "I was trying to kill you brat, why the hell are you apologizing to me! I swear are all humans this weak willed!?".
"I'm apologizing because I can't even remember why I was in such a rage in the first place. It's like I blacked out!" Gohan said trying to get him to see the point of it.
"In either case nephew, you once again caused me to lose, and it wasn't even close this time." Raditz said as Gohan's eyes widened "Surprised brat!? I could feel so much more power than you were fighting with during that fight. You had so much more hidden away didn't you!?".
Gohan was silent but gave a small nod as an answer.
Raditz laughed as he was correct "I figured as much nephew, that's why I want to make an offer to you!".
Throwing his legs over the bed, Raditz rose out of his bed causing the tubes attached to his body to be pulled out rather painfully, as the man quickly dropped to his knees in front of the boy.
"What are you doing!?" Gohan cried out watching the man injure himself more as the wound from earlier began to drip blood onto the floor.
Nappa copied Raditz and he also knelt on one knee and bowed to Gohan.
"You don't get it do you kid? We Saiyans are raised to follow the strongest. You managed to kick my ass easily, and Nappa isn't that far ahead of me. I'm going to take a guess that as of right now, even Vegeta can't match your power. We both heard from the White haired Demon you came here with that you are looking to become the next Overlord down here in Hell, but you need some souls to take your rightful spot amongst them." Raditz finished as Gohan realized what they were offering.
"Do you guys have any idea what you are even offering to me!?" Gohan asked unsure that he could oblige them.
Nappa laughed from his spot "Of course we are kid. We already were essentially doing this back in the living realm with Vegeta. Besides it's better if someone like you has our souls rather than some other asshole overlord. Maybe you want be as much of a dick as Vegeta for that matter.".
Gohan could see the reasoning but he was still unsure "Even so what do you both get out of this!?".
"Well for one we can offer our power's to protect that little Hotel of your mate's." Raditz said simply "Secondly we can be your training partner's to help us and you get even more powerful.".
Gohan knew that Charlie would be happy about the first part, and he knew he could use some training partners while he was stuck in Hell.
Nappa decided to speak up as he tried to sweeten the deal "Plus if you take our souls, I'll give you control of the district I've been officially ruling over!".
Gohan looked at him gobsmacked as he heard his offer "Why didn't you just lead with that!?".
Nappa just shrugged "I really like ruling over it.".
Gohan started thinking really hard to try to weigh out pros and cons.
"Nephew…Gohan look at it this way. Even if you don't claim our souls their over so many powerful demon's that may finally overpower the two of us, and claim us as theirs. I refuse to allow anyone other than another Saiyan to own my soul." Raditz said not willing to take no for an answer.
Gohan sighed as he knew that if it had been Vegeta asking then it would have taken an enormous amount of pride to finally admit that this was the only way.
Taking a deep breath, Gohan finally decided "Alright fine...I'll do it...On one condition!".
"Name it!" Both men yelled out ready to put their afterlives on the line.
"Nappa I want you to help me keep watch over this district, and get in touch with it's people!" Gohan said with authority looking at Nappa seriously.
Nappa blinked rapidly "I get to keep control!?".
Gohan smiled "I mean you would obviously work for me but with my work at the Hazbin Hotel, I'm gonna need someone keeping watch over things.".
"You got yourself a hot ass deal!" Nappa said giddily as he was glad he got to keep control.
Gohan then looked over to Raditz "For you Uncle I want you to get to work trying to grab one of the other empty districts...As soon as you get recovered!".
"As you wish...Boss!" Raditz spoke with amusement as he knew that the person who defeated him had big plans starting up.".
"All right now that we have gotten through that game plan…..How do I claim your souls!?" Gohan asked innocently to the two men.
Raditz just stared at him "….What!?".
Nappa just laughed "That's alright buddy I got this one covered. You are gonna need a few of these!" Nappa said while pulling a bright piece of paper out of his pocket "These are soul contracts, and these is how you collect souls down here.".
Raditz stared at the man "How long have you been holding onto those, Nappa?".
"I was in a dark place for awhile and actually owned some souls, a few years after I got here." Nappa said simply as he got teary eyed "They were good guys, unfortunately they couldn't escape the Angel's grasp!".
Nappa began crying into his arm as he remembered the souls he used to own.
"What the fuck, Nappa!?" Raditz said simply as he was confused by his friends sadness.
"Have a heart Raditz! This is why you have no bitches with your yee-yee ass haircut!" Nappa said scoffing at his friend.
"At least I have hair in the first place, you big bald asshole!" Raditz yelled back opening up his wound again as he groaned in pain.
Gohan was getting disturbed by their argument so he decided to interrupt them "Guys….GUYS!?".
"What!?" They both yelled at him as they were irritated he interrupted them.
"The souls!?" Gohan said as he pointed at the contracts.
"Oh yeah." Nappa simply said as he handed one to Raditz and gave Gohan a pen "Alright kid just picture the terms of the contract you want to add and sign down at the bottom. Then you will officially own our immortal souls!".
Thinking hard Gohan pictured the exact terms her wanted to impose onto the two Saiyans. Being the kind soul that he was, Gohan did not want to take to much of their freedom away, but at the same time he wanted to make sure that the two behaved themselves. He settled for allowing them to defend themselves from other demon's but unless ordered to they couldn't actively provoke innocent people on the street. In a way he could consider them Hell's division of the Z-warriors.
"Now I'll ask one more time...Are you two sure this is what you want!?" Gohan asked as apart of him wanted them to back out from this plan.
"Just get it over with, Brat!" Raditz growled not wanting to stretch this out longer than he had to. Not to mention his open wound were beginning to make him light headed and he refused to pass out again in front of the boy.
Gohan sighed and signed his name on the lines just for nothing to happen "So how long does it take for the deal to go into eff…" He was cut off by a bright light lighting up the room and two long golden chains began wrapping around the two Saiyan's necks. The chains pulled them both to their feet, and extended into long chain length that dropped itself into Gohan's hands.
The resulting light show was seen from outside the room as the remaining group out ran as fast as they could to see what was happening.
The door to the room was kicked open as Vaggie ran into the room first followed by everyone else.
"What the fuck is happening in here!?" She yelled as she stared at the Half-Saiyan.
The Carmines sister's along with their elder estranged sister knew instantly what was happening as Clara smiled in disbelief "He's done it! He's completed his first step as an Overlord!".
The group stared at their friend in surprise, but no one noticed Velvette standing in the back with a wide smirk on her face.

We are officially staring the rise of Overlord Gohan! I was so excited to get this chapter out that I've been typing ever since I've finished the last part. I wanna spend some time to get Gohan acquainted with what it is to be an Overlord. This mean meeting the resident's of his new District, meeting Nappa's girlfriend (Who may or may not be a missing mother from Helluva Boss….You'll have to figure out which one.), and dealing with other Demon's who may be a threat to his growth.
Charlie is now started to see that she needs to treat her relationship with Gohan more seriously, and that means dealing with others affections towards him. What will Vaggie have to say about all of this though...That is the real question.
