6. Author's Note

Aria of Ashes here. As I'm sure you noticed, the ending to Chapter 5 was a little... Underperforming. That both is and isn't my fault. It is because I wrote it, but it isn't because this website won't let me rewrite it, either.

I can't currently edit or alter Chatper 5, only publish it. When I attempt to access the document it freezes and crashes the App. So I am publishing it in it's current state. I fully intend to come back and correct Chapter 5 at a later date, once the issue at hand is dealt with. Don't, however, mistake Chapter 5 for being incomplete. It is what I intended, just not quite up to my normal standards.

Because of this issue, I have decided to make this AN it's separate chapter instead of being added to Chapter 5.

Speaking of issues, the device I was using to write with cooked itself to death. It is nonfunctional and as such I am using the device of an acquaintance. Because of this, I won't always have acess to the device and thusly Chapter updates will be slower.

As to the Chapter itself, I do think it's one of the better ones so far. No combat, of course, but that's because Chapter 6 will be combat oriented for... Pretty much the whole Chapter, honestly. I have two, maybe three, big fights planned there.

Also I felt the combat would take away from the focus of Chapter 5. But enough of that, I suppose.

I did leave behind a few clues pertaining to Specimen 6's identity. It isn't the obvious answer, either. But enough of that, too.

Forthose8675309 — Thank you for the compliment! I find dialogue much easier to write for then action. I'm quite excited to see what you have in store for What if Ruby was VENOM! I do believe it's better than my own work. Especially the action, and the level of detail you add.

Thank you for the advice concerning the AN. I will try my best to take it to heart. If your still willing to help out with my second story, I'd gladly accept it! Though Black Stars will, of course, remain my primary focus.

Kenny9x3 — Yeah, I don't intend to leave this mortal plane any time soon. Or this story.

As to Shadow and Ruby's transformation? Not quite. But soon, relatively speaking. The Venom action is coming.

Zekkan182 — I have written a few stories before this, under different accounts. I don't remember ever writing a Carnage story, but it could've been one of my old projects.
