Underwhelming and Overwhelming Return
Android 16 was in the Capsule Corp garden having his hands covered in small animals.
He was enjoying himself.
The Android was certain that he would be destroyed when he let go of his body's limiters to destroy Baby and he accepted that.
Now though he has a chance to live again.
Bulma promised him a new body for him, one like Lapis and Lazuli.
He felt good to see Iolite grow up into a kind young woman and to meet new children. And to see Zangya having a son with Lapis was a surprise and a welcome one.
It felt like his family had gotten bigger while he was away.
And everything was going his way.
He was happy.
But then his eyes turned red as new commands came to his mind.
'16 we're starting soon, be ready.'
With the advance programing 21 had done, 16 felt unable to resist.
He growled but then he got silent.
For now he must remain on standby and await orders.
Android 21 appeared in a lab with the three Androids she recruited.
She looked around and smiled.
"Me and Gero designed this place together, it was the last one before I-" She stopped herself. "I mean before Vomi died." She took a breath and sighed almost nostalgically.
Then she smiled manically and turned to her men.
"You boys ready?"
Android 14 punched into his palm, 15 smirked evilly.
"Ma'am" Android 13 smiled. "We were built ready."
21 smiled and nodded her head.
It was a signal to go off and start the plan.
All three Androids's bodies turned into wires and formed multiple figures in the lab.
21 smirked as her eyes changed from blue to a black background with a pink ring in the middle, similar to Majin Buu's.
Trunks's Home.
Trunks was sitting at home watching the news while drinking some coffee.
"This is a surprise."
The half Saiyan sipped and looked to his wife walking in the living room.
"What is?"
Lazuli sat on Trunks's lap and looked at him with a smile. "You're home." She said. "You haven't been home in weeks except to eat, sleep, and train."
Trunks looked at her and nodded. "Sorry, been working on something with my mom, thought maybe today I can just stay home."
Lazuli smiled at that and got closer to him.
"So, you saying I got you all to myself while the kids are at school?"
The Saiyan blushed and looked away.
"Wow, we've been married for eighteen years, and you still blush like a schoolboy."
"Tch, yeah yeah" Clearly, he was embarrassed but he smiled and looked at her.
Lazuli placed a hand on his goatee and smiled. "To be honest I wasn't sure if I liked this but it's starting to grow on me."
"Good, I like it, makes me feel grown up."
"Hehe, you're such a kid," Lazuli said and put her lips on his.
The two kissed and enjoyed their alone time while the children were away.
Little did they know, this peace would not last.
West City Elementary School
Joyaku and Shorz were getting ready to leave school.
"Hey Joyaku," Shorz said to him. "Wanna come to my house, I made a new robot I think can fight you."
"Ehh" The half Hera hesitated. "It's not going to explode this time is it?"
"Come on it was one time."
"One time too many."
Shorz whined hearing his cousin not wanting to test out his new robot.
"Oh fine, but you owe me some toys that your grandma gave you."
"Yes! No problem!" Shorz said excitingly.
The duo left their school and flew off towards Shorz's home.
"I'm telling you, you're going to love my new robot, it has lasers and it can take itself apart to fight you."
"I doubt it's as cool as that Android 16 that came back."
"Hey quit it, he doesn't count, grandma keeps making him better so of course it's hard to make something better than him."
Joyaku chuckled at his reaction and laughed loudly.
"Excuses, excuses, your just not smart enough to do it."
"I said quit it besides 16, there's no cooler robot than what I can make."
Just as he said that two figures floated behind them without either noticing them.
"Ahh!" Both screamed as they were struck in the back and crashed on the ground.
The duo grunted, Joyaku grabbed the back of his head and Shorz rubbed his cheek.
"What the, who did that?" Joyaku demanded. "And, how come we didn't sense them?"
They can sense energy they should have been able to sense them.
Shorz looked up at who hit them and wondered the same thing.
Above them were two figures, one big, the other was short.
Both landed on the ground in front of them.
Once they did, they got a better look at these individuals, both of them had shiny reflective metal skin.
The bigger android was a large brute close to Android 16 in size, he wore a brown shoulder pad on his left shoulder, a belt with the red ribbon insignia with a green kilt.
The smaller one wore a suit and red bow tie with an orange suit and a large green hat with a red ball on top.
"Who are you?" Joyaku demanded. "Why did you attack us?"
The smaller one walked forward with his hands behind his back.
"You 17's boy?" He asked. "You got attitude like he does."
"17?" Joyaku asked remembering the stories he was told, that was his father's Android number.
The larger one walked towards Shorz.
"We we're sent here to eliminate you."
The children all looked surprised never experiencing this moment, only hearing of it from their parents and Iolite.
"Joyaku? I think they're Androids."
The half Hera was surprised to hear that as the Androids started taking fighting stances.
"You can call me Android 15." The small one spoke and glanced at his partner. "The big lug's name is 14, sad to say that you two won't be saying goodbye to your family's."
The children stepped back but glanced at each other and nodded.
Now wasn't the time to panic, now they needed to step up, like their parents told them they would have to.
Both yelled and transformed.
Shorz of course transformed into a Super Saiyan, his hair spiked turned golden and his eyes became emerald, green.
Joyaku's skin became light green, and his hair turned crimson red.
Both children were going to have their first life or death battle.
Orange Star Highschool
As they transformed Iolite was going to her next class in high school. But she immediately felt something.
Joyaku and Shorz, their energies rose, were they going to train after school?
Why aren't her parents around? They don't like them training without supervision.
Either their disobeying and messing around or something is wrong.
"Well, I've been wanting an excuse to cut class."
Iolite walked out of the building and dashed out of her class still holding her backpack.
She was hoping that they were messing around, she didn't like the idea of another villain targeting the youngest.
On her way behind her there was someone following close behind her without her noticing.
Android 14 rushed towards Shorz and threw a fist down towards where the boy was.
But the half Saiyan evaded the strike and threw a kick across the Android's face.
Shorz didn't stop and threw a straight punch against his face forcing the Android to look up.
He then flew down and kicked into the Android's abdomen.
But Android 14 then wrapped his arms around him and squeezed.
Shorz screamed as he was ensnared by the brutish Android.
"Shorz!" Joyaku yelled for him.
"You got your own problems." The shorter Android appeared behind him.
The boy turned around and was punched right in the face and sent across the ground.
The small Android then appeared above and slammed both feet on the young Hera's chest forcing him on the ground.
Joyaku screamed as he hit the ground.
Shorz screamed as 14 kept squeezing tighter and tighter.
The boy was finally able to pull the Androids arms apart and rose one knee slamming it up the Android's jaw forcing him to look up and let go. Then threw a fist straight at his face forcing him to stumble back.
Shorz jumped back not wanting to be grabbed like that again.
He then rose his hands and formed a golden ball between his hands.
"Finish Buster!" He yelled as he tossed the energy ball forward.
But the Android merely deflected the energy ball and put his own hands and performed a white energy ball and fired it towards the boy.
Shorz's eyes widened as he jumped upwards, and the ball of energy destroyed a mountain behind him.
Before he could react 14 was already in front of him and smashed his fist into his stomach.
"Gah!" He was hit harder than he was ever hit before.
The Android pulled his fist back and slammed another fist down his back forcing the young Saiyan down on the ground once again.
Joyaku rose an arm to block a punch from 15 and threw an elbow across the shorter Android, he then slammed a kick at his side and then he went down and tried to swep kick him.
But 15 threw a straight kick against the boy's face, he then slammed a fist across the half hera's face, and another across the other, he repeated the process multiple times.
Joyaku wasn't fast enough to block every strike he was then slammed straight in the face.
The force sent him rolling across the ground and slammed through a few trees.
The boy felt so desperate he rose his arms and let out a few energy strings.
And to his despair, Shorz was right these were androids.
15 felt a slight pull but resisted and was slammed a kick against the boy's face.
Joyaku had nothing to counter him, just like his father had said, he was too reliant on the technique.
With no choice he spread his arms and used his father's Barrier technique.
15's kick slammed into the barrier, and it cracked.
"Y'know 17's move only works well with infinite energy." He noted and threw a fist creating a larger crack much to his distress. "With an organic like you? Not so much."
The Android threw punches and kicks breaking more and more of the barrier.
Shorz was on the ground taking punches from 14 into the ground repeatedly.
It was clear that the two boys were no match for these newly powered up versions of 14 and 15.
Iolite can sense the boy's energies starting to decrease, she had to get there now!
But before she could speed up from behind an android with shiny skin and white hair floated behind and was about to strike.
Just then Iolite's hair spiked and turned golden.
She flipped and kicked down on 13's head launching him downward.
"The hell?"
13 caught himself mid air and looked up at Iolite with a scowl.
Iolite glared down at the Android in a similar way her mother would.
"How'd you detect me, you can't sense my energy!"
Iolite responded quickly. "I spar with Androids all the time I detect with more than just sensing energy." She then powered up. "Now tell me, what's after my brother and cousin?"
13 grinned. "Ya got spunk just like your daddy, I ain't ya, not that it'll save y-" Gah!"
Iolite now reached Super Saiyan two and punched straight into 13's stomach.
She pulled back her fist and kicked up the Android's head, she then grabbed the boy's arm and tossed him aside.
The Saiyan then vanished appeared above the Android and slammed her hands on top of him.
This sent the Android to the ground, crashing and making a large dust cloud.
Iolite then formed a pink energy ball in her hands. "Power Blitz!"
She tossed it downward.
The energy bomb made contact and created a huge pink explosion.
Iolite wanted to go make sure the boys were safe, but she had to make sure he didn't follow.
The girl descended focusing on her guard.
Just then a gloved fist moved towards her.
She rose an arm to block the strike and she looked shocked at what she saw.
13's face looked disfigured but started to reform.
"Got your mother's viciousness to, quite the combination." He then backhanded her across the cheek and kicked her in the stomach.
Iolite crashed through a few trees before stopping herself mid-air.
13 appeared in front and threw a fist into her guard.
Damn it, he's too strong to put down quickly, it's fine, the rest of the family are getting closer.
Trunks and Lazuli were flying towards one of the locations where they sensed the power levels fighting.
"Iolite's fighting to." He explained. "She was heading there and now she's at full power."
"I know."
Trunks used his technique, telepathy to communicate with the other pair of parents.
'Lapis, you and Zangya head to Joyaku and Shorz, Lazuli will meet you there.' He told them. 'I'll head for Iolite, her energy isn't decreasing as fast as the boys are.'
Lapis and Zangya far away agreed.
Trunks turned to Lazuli. "That alright with you?"
"Splitting up has never ended well before, stay safe." Lazuli said to her husband.
"Right, me and Iolite will be there soon."
Trunks flew off leaving Lazuli to go towards her son and nephew.
The cyborg had an uneasy feeling, this kind of thing has happened before.
It was just the start of something horrible to come.
Android 13 grabbed Iolite's leg and slammed her on the ground in front of him, then behind, and then in front again. He then lifted her up and punched her stomach sending her flying.
The Android then threw a hand forward firing a powerful red energy wave towards where she crashed.
Iolite reacted quickly and flew upwards avoiding the wave.
She then aimed her hands forward firing multiple pink energy shots, her Infinity Bullet.
The Android flew threw the energy shots either blocking or evading them.
The ones that missed hit the ground but unknown to the Android they did not explode just like they didn't during her spar against her mother.
Iolite then appeared in front of him and punched him straight in the stomach, forcing him to keel over, she then threw a palm strike across his face, and then she swung a kick at his midsection forcing him to keel over again.
She pulled her leg back flew up and slammed her elbow on his back.
Again the Android fell but he stopped in midair. He looked up and noticed her flying down with her foot downward.
He evaded the kick, she landed and turned the ground to rubble, and the impact made an extremely wide crater.
13 then slammed a fist across her mouth and punched her midsection forcing her back, he then grabbed her leg and flew off, before tossing her.
Iolite spat blood, those attacks cracked a few bones she was about to catch herself.
But then 13 appeared, kneed her in the gut, and slammed both hands on her back.
She launched back again but managed to catch herself, only to be kicked in the face sending her downward spinning.
13 chuckled as he spread his arms apart, ready to fire his signature attack.
Iolite got on one knee and saw the attack, but she smirked and raised her hands. "Infinity Geysers"
The Android stopped and frowned.
Just then multiple energy shots were unleashed from the ground and were getting close to their target.
But the Android swayed every one of those attacks and punched the surprised Iolite across the face.
The Super Saiyan 2 grabbed her face and glared at the Android wondering how he managed that.
"Surprised?" He asked grinning. "Come on little lady, ya think I'd be dumb enough to assault without having complete data on you, saw that move a mile away."
Great, she forgot how 16 had data on Goku, looks like these Androids have new data on them.
Whatever, the case she needed to get to the boys now, she could sense her Aunt getting closer, it's fine they'll be able to take out whoever or whatever they're fighting.
Which means she can focus on this red ribbon red neck.
She powered up ready to go another round with this hick-talking Android.
While Trunks was on his way to help his daughter his form shifted into his Super Saiyan 2 to speed up towards Iolite, he could sense she's handling herself but he didn't want to find out how long that would last.
On his way, he heard something coming from behind, and he couldn't sense it. He turned around and smacked a red energy wave away.
He looked up wondering who did that and was surprised when he found out.
"You?"
It was a familiar sight.
Green pants with suspenders, a yellow top with a red ribbon insignia, a trucker hat, white hair, and shiny metal skin just like the last time he saw him.
"Where's the fire boy?"
Somehow Android 13 was here instead of with Iolite.
"You?" Trunks asked again. "You're the one that's behind this?"
13 chuckled.
"That's right boy! I'm back! And this time I'll be making your species extinct, both Saiyans and humans will be wiped away like the plague you are! Hahahahaha!" He yelled threateningly.
He looked down at him expecting to see fair but instead, he saw a neutral expression for a second before he chuckled.
"What the!" 13 yelled offended. "What in Sam Hell you laughing at boy!"
"Sorry" Trunks said while fighting not to laugh. "It's just, now that I know you're involved I'm kinda relieved, I thought you were something new but now that I know it's just you, at least I know you'll be an easy part of the problem to solve."
"What?" 13 asked with gritted teeth. "You forgot the two times we met I had you helpless both times, I woulda had you had it not been for your pals!"
Trunks rolled his eyes.
"You're right, you did, you came back, but now it's your second time coming back." He noted. "You're not exactly threatening now that you've come back again, especially over 10 years later, what do you believe in third times the charm?"
13 was starting to blow a gasket.
"That mouth of yours has gotten worse, just like your daddy! I'll teach you some m-"
But before he could finish, like his daughter Trunks appeared right in front of 13 before he could finish his sentence, only he aimed a hand to his face. And most threatening of all, his hair spiked up and it wasn't golden.
In his ultimate form Trunks glared at the Android. "This time, you won't get the chance to be a problem."
"What! Wait don't-"
Trunks fired a powerful golden energy wave up close, what he liked to call his God Breaker, an up-close energy wave.
The blast was so powerful that it had already taken all of 13's body and it started to fall apart and disintegrate to nothing.
When the smoke cleared 13 was gone, with no trace.
Just like 16 had done years ago.
Trunks looked around in case the Android had a small part he missed, he remembered that the Android possessed regeneration and he had to be sure that he couldn't come back.
It looked as though he was gone, he headed towards Iolite ready to destroy whatever threatened his daughter.
Shorz and Joyaku were side by side panting heavily.
The two have tried everything.
Every technique was countered as if they knew what they could do.
They even tried performing the technique Trunks had taught them but the Androids were relentless and wouldn't allow them to do so.
All they could do was help each other survive, working together to evade and avoid their fatal attacks.
But they were running out of energy.
Shorz's hair was starting to blacken, he was fighting to stay in Super Saiyan.
Joyaku was in a similar position, his hair was starting to turn back to orange and his skin was trying to change back to normal.
There was nothing they could do.
"Alright 14, let's wrap this up." 15 said as he held up his hands, powering up a white energy ball each.
Joyaku held up his arms and formed a Ki force field like his father taught him.
The two closed their ways waiting for impact.
Just then they heard a noise, both opened their eyes.
Zangya was in front of the Androids and had struck them both.
The duo was then sent flying and crashed through multiple trees.
Joyaku was so happy to see his mom after the situation they were in.
Behind Shorz Lazuli appeared and put her hands on her son's shoulder.
"Mom?" Shorz asked.
"Are you hurt?" Lazuli asked with concern as she looked over her child.
Shorz shook his head despite the bruises she can see.
Lapis put a hand on top of Joyaku's head.
"You did a good job kid." He said proudly able to see the struggle they had while they were getting to the kids.
Both of the siblings turned to the enemy and glared.
Once they stood up, both savaged in the face showing wires and metallic skulls, it was a shock to see who it was.
"15?" Lapis asked.
"14?" Lazuli's eyes widened.
"Hey there 17, 18" 15 greeted with a smile.
Zangya was a bit taken back and turned to the siblings.
"There Androids?"
"Yeah" Lapis replied. "We took care of them awhile back." He noted the skin colors of these two. "Although they didn't have this upgrade."
14 and 15's faces repaired almost immediately repaired, just like 13 did back when he returned the first time.
Zangya remembered 16 able to do that.
15 adjusted his bowtie and smiled. "So you're the organic that made the cold blooded 17 blush, ain't that nice."
The woman turned to look at her son and saw the wounds on him. "Lapis, be a dear and keep an eye on Joyaku." She said with a cold-blooded smile that even shook her husband.
He nodded his head and Lazuli walked forward.
"Shorz stay with your uncle and cousin." She said looking at 14. "I'll deal with the one that hurt my son."
15 grinned and took a fighting stance.
14 didn't respond and took his own stance.
Lapis formed an Android Barrier around them and looked at the kids. "Stay close."
The boys nodded and watched the battle take place.
Android 15 aimed a towards Zangya forming white energy and fired multiple energy shots.
Zangya flew forward while deflecting every energy shot.
She made it to him and threw a fist.
But then the Android deployed his own energy barrier and protected himself.
Zangya had a grin as she held up a hand showing a familiar purple needle, she then tossed it on to the barrier.
Much to 15's surprise the barrier started to fade despite fueling his infinite energy.
Zangya then kicked across 15's skull and sent him flying.
"I'm going to enjoy breaking you for what you did to my son and nephew." She said menacingly as she flew forward.
The gete metal skin Android stood up and blocked another kick coming from the woman.
15 retaliated by throwing multiple punches.
Only for Zangya to block or evade ever strike.
The short Android jumped and tried to double kick her face.
But Zangya blocked the Android's legs, she then rose a leg kicking up the Android's back.
She then jumped above where 15 was headed and kicked downward on his abdomen, the two crashed on to the ground making a crater.
Zangya's boot was on top of the damaged struggling Android.
She glared down and lifted her foot before kicking the Android out of the crater before dashing forward.
Lazuli glared at 14 ready to destroy him a second time.
Android 14 ran forward with his arms spread apart.
He threw a fist towards Lazuli.
But she tilted her head and kicked across the Android's side, she then flipped and kicked up the larger Android's chin.
She then threw multiple punches across his abdomen forcing the brute to back up.
She finished her barrage and threw a palm strike across the ponytailed fighter's face sending him away.
14 hit the ground and pushed himself up, his damage arms repaired themselves.
Lazuli walked forward with a glare, clearly angered seeing her son and nephew in such states.
The large Android charged forward with a white energy ball in his hand, once he was close he tried to strike her with it.
She backhanded his arm so the ball would miss and threw a fist across the Android's face.
Lazuli then punched the other side of his face.
Then she kicked his mid-section making him keel over.
Lazuli then swept kick him and then put her hands on the ground before doing a handstand and kicking up the Android's stomach.
This sent the brutish Android flying.
Zangya flew above Android 14 while holding the small Android's neck, he then tossed 15 where 14 was.
She looked down at Lazuli and she smiled while nodding.
Knowing what she had in mind, Zangya fired a powerful energy wave towards the Androids that were just tossed together.
Lazuli did the same from down below.
Both 14 and 15 just got a hold of themselves but just before they started to move, they were caught in between the powerful energy waves.
Neither had time to scream as their bodies were ensnared in powerful energy.
The duo were completely destroyed so easily.
Zangya landed next to Lazuli, the two nodded to each other in respect and turned towards the children.
Lapis let go of his barrier and the Shorz ran to his mom.
"Wow mom that was awesome, you destroyed that big guy without Kaioken! I knew you were strong without it but not this strong!"
She smiled as she kneeled and hugged her son.
"I'm just glad you're not hurt."
Joyaku had a different reaction as he looked up at his own mother and he walked up to her.
"Sorry mom, I couldn't beat him transformed, but you won without transforming." He said clearly embarrassed.
Zangya lifted her young son and hugged him. "Don't be silly, your still growing, your going to be much stronger when your fully grown."
This seemed to reassure him as he hugged her mother back.
After this moment the grown-ups started talking about the situation.
"Like we thought they were androids, but I didn't expect them to be ones we already destroyed." Lapis explained.
"We should at this point after all we've been through." Androids, a Legendary Saiyan, a fusion, and an alien parasite, this should be normal in comparison.
"Wonder how they come back 'm assuming 13 is what's fighting Iolite right now." Lapis assumed. "Does that mean he survived and remade his cronies?"
"How would he do that and how did they get so strong in the first place?" Lazuli asked.
Zangya looked to Lazuli with a hand on her chin.
"I think it's clear that whoever this Android 13 is, he isn't the one who rebuild himself, he couldn't have come back on his own right?"
He could have if there was enough left of him. But they watched as 16 destroyed 13, if he could've have attacked by then.
So that means that Zangya's theory is likely to be right.
But that begs the question who brought these Androids back?
As they talked two people floated above them.
It was Androids 14 and 15 again, completely unharmed despite being destroyed.
Back with Iolite and 13
Android 13 crossed his arms while staring down Iolite who was on the ground.
"I reckon you're on your last legs."
Iolite began to get up, her hair was down covering her face, she was shaking.
"Too bad you ain't no Android, having finite energy is one of the reasons your organics need to be replaced by the good doctor's work."
She said nothing as she stayed on her feet.
13 aimed his hand forward and fired a red energy wave.
Iolite was struck and it sent her flying.
The Android appeared ahead of where she was going and grabbed the back of Iolite's head.
"Ha!" 13 smashed Iolite's face into the ground multiple times, he then lifted her and kicked at her side.
Her body smashed through a few trees and landed on the ground.
On the ground she stayed quiet as if she was too beaten to speak.
Then the Android appeared above her and aimed his hand downward.
"Don't worry lil missy, I'll let your daddy bury you before he joins ya."
13 released his Ki bomb.
But Iolite pushed her hands on the ground and kicked down 13's head, forcing his hat to fall and his energy to be shot to the side.
"What in-"
Iolite slammed a fist across his face.
The Android glared as he spun and backhanded across her face. "You little brat, how?!"
Iolite kicked the side of the Android's leg forcing him to fall forward, she then uppercut him and kicked at his stomach damaging it and it already started repairing.
Iolite smirked, she spent the whole fight waiting for an opening and now she has it, as she had a hand out, red energy wrapped around it and formed into a blade in the shape of the Vegeta family's crest.
She slashed her Royal Blade in multiple directions across 13's body.
Iolite then aimed her other hand at the floating pieces of the Android.
She fired a powerful yellow energy wave before it could recover.
The energy wave affected all the pieces as they started to connect.
Before he could reform 13's body was destroyed, nothing was left behind to rebuild.
Iolite's Royal Blade faded away, her golden hair shifted back to purple, and she fell to the ground.
She panted heavily, that could have ended better, she had to waste so much energy defending herself until that red neck left an opening.
"Iolite!"
The girl turned to see her father descending to her.
Trunks knelt concerned. "Are you ok?" He asked offering a hand up.
Iolite smiled and grasped her father's hand.
"Yeah, I'm good." She spoke. "I was heading towards my brother when this Android showed up."
"I figured that out on the way here, I destroyed one that was trying to stop me from getting to you."
"That must be what's attacking Joyaku and Shorz, are mom and the others with them."
Trunks nodded.
"The boys are safe their energies are fine right now." He said to her. "I don't know who's behind this, but someone is remaking the Androids."
Iolite put a hand through her hair and spoke. "Obviously, I just met Android 13."
"13?" Trunks asked. "I destroyed 13."
"What?" Iolite asked. "I know, but I thought you told me 16 did."
"No, well yes, but I mean I destroyed 13 before I came."
Iolite looked confused did she mishear? No, they told her he had that strange accent and the details, she remembered what he looked like.
"Don't discredit your little girl."
The father and daughter turned shocked to hear that voice.
It was 13 again, he crossed his arms and smiled.
"She really did a number on me the apple don't fall far from the tree." He said grinning.
Trunks stood between 13 and Iolite.
"What is this?" He asked.
13 chuckled. "Come on now, why the long face, we had such good times, Trunks." He smiled and looked up.
Trunks and Iolite looked up as well and were shocked at what they were staring at.
Now there was more than one Android they had to deal with, it was one of the same Android.
There were dozens maybe hundreds of Androids 13's floating above Trunks and Iolite.
"Dad, could he do that before?"
Trunks looked around at the army of Androids.
"I knew I had to get the cavalry ready, you were right about third times the charm not working out, let's try this many times the charm!" He gestured to his army.
Trunks looked to his daughter who looked at the 13 and above at the army of his copies.
This wasn't good, were these clones as strong as each other? Hopefully not, he looked at Iolite. She was clearly exhausted from the fight, he had to be careful, he hoped that the others were having better luck.
Back with the others
Zangya, Lapis, and Lazuli were in the same situation.
Shorz and Joyaku looked scared.
Around them were an army of Androids 14 and 15.
"The hell is going on?" Zangya asked. "Whose behind this?"
"It doesn't matter, we need to keep the children safe." Lazuli said as she blasted an Android 15 that was heading towards them.
Lapis kicked at an Android 14 that was aiming for his son and nephew.
"Don't worry, I'm sure 16 is on his way here."
"He better be, there's too many." Zangya said as she kicked across an Android 14's head.
Now the entire group was threatened by hordes of Android copies.
And one on the inside waiting to make a move.
Android 21's lab
Android 13 frowned while by his sides 14 and 15 had neutral looks.
"What's wrong 13?" 21 asked as she was typing on a computer.
"I put most of my energy in the copy that fought Trunks's brat mam, I doubt we can keep em occupied forever."
21 giggled.
It was expected the new ability she gave these Androids wasn't perfect, she took the data she collected from a timeline where Frieza's brother Cooler had merged with the Big Gete star and
took the idea to create a duplicating ability to create copies, though they don't need a space station to craft copies and are able to create it as long as the original body is intact.
Sadly unlike Cooler, 13 had no space station that had fed on countless planets to have enough energy to spare for an army of Meta Coolers, so the Androids have to divide himself with every copy and decide what amount of energy to give them.
She had thought of recreating the Big Gete star, with a time machine it would be doable to feed it plenty of planets, but Towa was against it since it would create too much of a distortion of time and give them a chance to prepare.
But it was fine, these three weren't their endgame anyway.
"Relax 13, you can feel your energy returning to you can't you" She said as she finished typing a command for 16. "You don't need to hold them for long, just enough to start the plan." She said to him. "First you divide them, now we let them play into our hands." She smirked as she walked out.
"Where you going." 13 asked.
She side-eyed him. "Use your returned energy to keep making copies for them, I'm about to make my move." She dashed off.
As she flew, she had an evil smirk, everything was going to plan. It won't be long now before Trunks is out of their way, and their family can be brought together again.
Her husband, Dr. Gero.
And of course, her son.
She will set things right very soon.
And now the final arc has finally started, apologies for the slow build up, it's going to get crazy pretty soon hope you look forward to it.

Guest: I make no promises, just know I intend on an appropriate ending for everyone. Also about Super Saiyan 3. I just fail to see the point of him getting it now, wouldn't he just keep the Ultimate Form? Like I said in heroes Gohan got 4 and he never got 3. And as for the Super Forms, this is going to be the final arc of the story so chances are the god forms won't make an appearance but I am planning on a spin off after this story is over with Trunks as the main character again if it makes you feel any better.

Ya, that's another reason it could have been a problem, I'm glad that I made it acceptable why they didn't do fusion in that arc.
